RULES TO EXPLAIN ON THE PAGE: lock 0.001-1 Sepolia ETH; it opens when Squeektoshi the hamster runs the km you picked (1-100), counted from the moment you lock; breaking early returns 80%, the 20% penalty plus any rewards you had earned go to everyone still holding (burned if nobody is); after 30 days every jar opens anyway; one jar per wallet; no owner, no admin.

PAGE:

  • Hero: HAMLOCK. Lock your ETH. It opens when Squeektoshi runs the distance.
  • Connect a wallet (injected wallets such as MetaMask/Rabby); prompt to switch to Sepolia. Reading works without a wallet.
  • Lock form: distance slider 1-100 km (show the work units = km x 1139, and that a typical active night is about 10 km), amount input 0.001-1 ETH, Lock button.
  • My jar: amount, km, progress bar from startWork to targetWork using currentWork() (settled), plus a lighter live overlay from https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status field measurement.cumulativeWorkUnits labelled "live, not yet settled"; show km = work x 0.878 / 1000; pending reward; deadline countdown; Open button when isOpenable; Break button with a confirm dialog showing the exact 80% refund and the forfeited reward.
  • Hamster panel: measurement.coreStatus (SPINNING / IDLE) and rpmMilli / 1000 as rpm from the same API, refreshed every 15 seconds, with a link to https://x.com/squeekchain for the livestream.
  • Stats: totalLocked, activeJars, totalPenalties, totalBurned.
  • Leaderboard: wallets ranked by kmCompleted, then jarsCompleted, built from Opened events where hamsterRanIt is true; also show jarsBroken as "paper hands".
  • Share on X button with prefilled text: "I just trusted my ETH to a hamster. It unlocks when @squeektoshi runs N km. #hamlock" plus the site URL.
  • Footer: Sepolia testnet game, no real value, not affiliated with Squeekchain. Links to the contract on Sepolia Etherscan and the GitHub source.

Rules: every number on the page comes from the contract or the Squeekchain API, never hardcoded. If the API is down, show settled data only. Pixel-dark style that echoes a dot-matrix screen, mobile first, fast to load.

Medium — bug: mobile wallet picker hides discovered providers. At 390 × 844 in Chromium and WebKit, EIP-6963 providers disappear when window.ethereum is absent: zero injected-wallet buttons remain. Preserve discovered providers in the mobile picker; EIP-6963 supports discovery independently of that legacy global. The report includes the exact source line, change, and reproduction.

Live Sepolia reads, bytecode, and ABI matched the pinned deployment. Wallet transactions were simulated for browser checks. Website files remain unchanged.

HAMLOCK presents a hamster-powered time lock as a dark dot-matrix wheel console.

    • mediumbug: mobile wallet picker hides providers discovered through EIP-6963web/src/Wallet.tsx:38

Now: On a mobile user agent without window.ethereum, isMobileBrowser() returns true and this filter removes every injected connector, including named wallets already discovered through EIP-6963. The picker offers external wallet links despite having usable injected providers.

Change to: Preserve named EIP-6963 injected connectors in listed on mobile; hide only the generic injected option when no provider exists. Decide whether to show wallet-browser links from actual discovered providers rather than the legacy window.ethereum property alone.

Why: The brief requires injected-wallet connection on a mobile-first page. EIP-6963 explicitly supports discovering injected providers independently of window.ethereum (https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-6963#abstract).

390 × 844, reproduced in Chromium and WebKit 26 with user agent Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 18_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 Version/18.0 Mobile Safari/604.1.

Before navigation inject an EIP-1193 provider and announce it using eip6963:announceProvider with valid uuid/name/rdns/icon metadata; listen for eip6963:requestProvider and reannounce.

      Do not assign window.ethereum.

Load the exported page, then click Connect wallet.

Using the repository validation fixture with only its window.ethereum assignment omitted, both MetaMask and Rabby announcements are received, but the dialog contains 0 injected-wallet buttons: its only connection button is Coinbase Smart Wallet, alongside four Open in links.

Repeat with the same announcements/provider plus window.ethereum = provider: the dialog now contains the MetaMask and Rabby connection buttons.

Expected: the announced injected providers remain selectable in both cases.

Actual: both are hidden solely when the legacy global is absent.

No real account, signature or broadcast is involved.
