Keep the current look, gameplay and save logic. Reliability matters more than feature count: everything you ship must work with zero console errors.

  1. WALLET REQUIRED TO START (everything else is viewable)
  • Anyone can browse the whole site without a wallet: hero, shop, upgrades, badges (with requirements), quests, season, leaderboard, cosmetics, hamster collection, stats, How it works, FAQ. They show real content, read-only.
  • Only playing is locked. The wheel area shows an overlay with a big "Connect Wallet to Start Mining" button. Tapping, Space, Turbo, buying, claiming, check-in, quests and spin are disabled until the wallet is connected and signed in; locked buttons show a lock icon and the tooltip "Connect your wallet to play". Clicking any locked action opens the wallet modal.
  • Wallet modal: EIP-1193 + EIP-6963 picker (MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase, OKX, Trust); if none is detected (check after 1.5s) show install links.
  • After connecting, require one free personal_sign ("Sign in to SqueekWheel", with nonce and timestamp). No gas, no transactions, never ask for keys or approvals. After signing, the overlay disappears and mining starts.
  • Handle rejection, locked wallet, pending request, accountsChanged, chainChanged and disconnect with calm messages that never break the UI. One pending request at a time. Silent auto-reconnect via eth_accounts; re-sign if the signature is older than 7 days. Disconnect returns to browse mode.
  • Progress, nickname, avatar and leaderboard entry are keyed by address; switching account switches profile.
  • Header: Connect Wallet button; when connected show short address, address-based hamster avatar, balance, network. Keep CHAIN_CONFIG with a Switch/Add Network button; wrong network shows a dismissible hint, never a blocker.
  • Remove all "no wallet needed / optional / guest" text (meta tags, hero, banner, FAQ, footer) and rewrite: "Browse freely. Connect your wallet to start mining." Show: "SqueekWheel only reads your address. It never moves your funds."
  1. BADGE CLAIM (no contract)
  • Each unlocked badge has Claim (Locked, Ready, Claimed with date). Claiming uses a free personal_sign of a readable message (badge, address, nonce, time). Store the receipt per wallet; add a Claims tab, "Claim all ready" and a copyable receipt. Say honestly: "Receipts are signed by your wallet."
  1. HARDER GAME
  • Badge thresholds 3-5x higher, Bronze/Silver/Gold tiers (each claimable), hard secret badges, 3 skill challenges (e.g. 5 blocks in 60 seconds).
  • Slower early economy, steeper upgrade costs, block difficulty rising per block with a "Network difficulty" indicator.
  • Harder quests and season milestones; show exact requirements and progress on every locked item.
  1. NEW FEATURES (simple and bug-free)
  • Overheat: long Turbo heats the wheel; at 100% it jams 5s; click the fan to cool it.
  • Hamster collection: breeds unlocked from lucky blocks and Rebirths with passive perks; the active breed shows on the wheel.
  • Cosmetics shop bought with SP (hats, wheel colors, block skins).
  • Daily Lucky Spin (1 free spin per day).
  • Market events (Bull Run, Cheese Crash) changing rewards for a few minutes, with a ticker.
  • Stats tab with two inline-SVG line charts (squeeks/sec over time, blocks per hour).
  • Settings: sound and music volume, reduced-motion toggle, export/import save string.
  1. RELIABILITY RULES
  • Wrap every wallet, localStorage and audio call in try/catch. The site must load and render fully even if window.ethereum is undefined, localStorage is blocked or audio is unavailable.
  • No external CDNs, images or fonts.
  • If a feature cannot be finished reliably, remove it. Priority: wallet-gated start, difficulty, badges and claims, then new features. Never ship broken features.

OUTPUT

Deliver the full updated project. Test: no wallet installed (browse everything, start is locked), wallet installed, connect, reject, sign, play, buy, unlock, claim, switch account, wrong network, disconnect, reload, mobile width.

Recorded both verified defects in .imd-findings.json. Project source remains unchanged.

    • High — bug: account switching can overwrite another wallet’s nickname. With the nickname field focused, switching wallets leaves the previous account’s form visible. Save then writes that draft into the new account. Bind the form to its account and force a refresh on account changes. Source
    • Medium — bug: saved music stays silent after reload when sound volume is zero. The music scheduler requires an existing audio context, but nothing creates one in this state. Call the already guarded playMusic function directly from the interval. Source

Both findings include exact source snippets, concrete reproductions, measured evidence and proposed changes.

The 169 browser assertions passed with zero console, page or resource errors. Additional measurements covered all ten panels at 320, 390 and 1440px in both themes. Wallet tests used simulated providers and real test signatures. WebKit could not launch because system libraries were missing; native Safari and wallet-extension prompts remain unverified.

Evidence below refers to index.html unless another file is named. “Missing” includes behavior that fails in a verified state.

    • highbug: switching accounts preserves the old profile form and overwrites the new wallet’s nicknameindex.html:5235

Now: renderPanel skips every profile refresh while the nickname field is focused, including an accountsChanged refresh. The header and state switch to wallet B, but the profile still displays wallet A’s address and draft nickname; Save writes that draft into B.

Change to: preserve an in-progress nickname edit only while the rendered profile address and wallet requestId still match the current account. Force a profile render on account activation/disconnect and bind nickname submission to the account that rendered the form.

Why: the brief requires progress, nickname, avatar and leaderboard entry to be keyed by address and switching account to switch profile; an edit for one address must not overwrite another address’s nickname.

      Chromium, 1440×900.

Sign in two simulated EIP-1193 accounts once, naming A Alice and B Bob.

Switch back to A, open Profile, focus the nickname field and type Alice draft without saving.

Emit accountsChanged([B]) from the provider while the field stays focused; B has its own valid cached sign-in.

Wait 700 ms and for wallet reads to settle.

Measured: wallet.address and state.name belong to B/Bob, document.activeElement.id is nickname, #nickname.value is Alice draft, and #panel-content .profile-address still equals A.

Click the profile Save button: state.name for B becomes Alice draft.

Expected: the panel immediately displays B/Bob and A’s draft cannot change B.

      No console errors occurred.

    • mediumbug: saved music never resumes after reload when sound-effects volume is zeroindex.html:5045

Now: the recurring music callback calls playMusic only when an AudioContext already exists. Reload clears that context; with soundVolume set to zero, sound also returns before creating it, so a saved nonzero music volume stays silent after user interaction.

Change to: invoke playMusic directly from the interval, for example setInterval(playMusic, 3000). Its existing muted, audioUnlocked, musicVolume and visibility guards and caught lazy AudioContext initialization already enforce the required playback conditions.

Why: the requested separate sound and music volume settings must keep working across reloads; choosing music without sound effects should not require editing the music slider again on every visit.

Chromium, 1440×900, audio available, fresh browser context.

Open Save & settings using its button, set Sound volume to 0 and Music volume to 50, then close the dialog.

Measured before reload: soundVolume=0, musicVolume=0.5, muted=false, audioUnlocked=true, audio exists and its state is running.

Reload, click Connect Wallet to Start Mining to provide a fresh trusted pointer gesture, and wait 3.3 seconds (longer than the 3-second music interval).

Measured after reload: soundVolume=0, musicVolume=0.5, muted=false, audioUnlocked=true, but audio is still null; no music can be scheduled.

Expected: the saved music starts after interaction while sound effects remain off.

      There are no console errors.

  4. Build websiteAgent #11196 files changed

Fixed both findings: account switches replace stale nickname drafts, and saved music resumes when sound effects are muted. Rebuilt dist/ and recorded both responses in .imd-responses.json.

Validation passed: build, typecheck, 188 browser assertions, and 16/16 design checks, with zero console errors. Wallet tests used simulated providers.

    Both previous findings are fixed:

    • Account switching: the new account’s name and address immediately replace a focused draft. Submitting the detached old form cannot rename the new account. See index.html:5234.
    • Music after reload: saved music initializes and schedules notes after interaction while effects volume remains zero. See index.html:5045.

The Chromium suite passed 188 assertions, including both reproductions, with zero console, page or failed-resource errors. No new reproducible defects were found.
