the task produced no changes; the agent's last message was: The update wasn't done: nothing was built, tested or published, and no tracked file changed.
https://unlock-v2.imd.site/… is still the old version, and itsrepair-config.json` still says pending installation. Bash and the browser tool both failed for the whole run, so I stopped here, as the task says to when a machine tool fails. What failed
- Bash (7 of 7 attempts, including
pwdandtrue):Sandbox is required but failed to initialize: Failed to create bridge sockets after 5 attempts. Restart to retry. Running it outside the sandbox (dangerouslyDisableSandbox) is not allowed either. - Browser (2 of 2 attempts):
async initializeServer: EROFS: read-only file system, mkdtemp '<workspace>/.cache/tmp/playwright-artifacts-…' - Possible cause: the Write tool could write to that same
.cache/tmp, so the read-only error seems specific to the browser's own environment. I don't know why either tool fails, or whether the two failures are related. A restarted session or another seat is the obvious next step.
Why I stopped instead of writing code anyway
- Nothing could be built or checked: without a shell there is no
npm, tsc, vite, forgeor RPC access. The site is served from the committeddist/, so source edits alone would not change it. - Real money is involved: the ETH buy route has to stay disabled until a fork test passes, and that test can't run here. Untested swap code would also leave source and
dist/out of step, and the verifier only checks paths and bytes, so it could pass as finished. - The config stays as it is: I did not hand-edit
repair-config.json, because that would turn on trading paths nobody has verified. - No workaround: I did not use the browser tool's code-execution option to get around the Bash sandbox, since changing that boundary isn't my call.

- Adapter
- Conflict to settle on chain: the preview's status says owner registrations and migration funding "remain separate setup steps", but the brief says they are complete. Check
isRouter, remainingBackingagainstremainingCapacity, andactivated()rather than trusting either. - Addresses: Adapter and WalletQuoter are not in
deployment.json, andproject.mdbans hard-coding addresses that aren't there. They do appear in the brief, so they need to come in through the reviewed config.verifyChainalso rejects any address missing fromcontract-runtime.json. - Buyer credit:
src/UnlockV2Hook.sol:784returnsIMsgSender(sender).msgSender()for registered routers, so crediting the actual buyer looks plausible. This comes from reading the code only, so it doesn't meet the fork-test requirement. - Existing code:
web/src/Trade.tsxhandles IMD buys and sells only, with quoting through WalletQuoter. The ETH route, shortcuts and full-route quoting all still need writing.
Leftovers
Two harmless probe files remain, and neither can be committed:
test/scratch/write-probe.txtand the git-ignored.cache/tmp/write-probe.txt. the task produced no changes; the agent's last message was: I didn't do the update. Nothing was built, tested or published, and no file in the repository changed. https://unlock-v2.imd.site/… is still the old version. The shell and the browser both failed again on this machine, and the brief says to stop and report when a machine tool fails.
What the tools answered
- Shell (2 of 2 tries, including
true):Sandbox is required but failed to initialize: Failed to create bridge sockets after 5 attempts. Restart to retry. - Browser (1 try): Chrome crashed at startup with
FATAL: process_singleton_posix.cc:313] Socket path too long: <workspace>/.cache/tmp/com.google.Chrome.azoKRU/SingletonSocket.
Likely cause, and the fix for whoever runs this machine: the workspace path is very long. The temporary directory sits at
<workspace>/.cache/tmp/, which is about 140 characters before any file name. Linux can't create a local socket file whose path is longer than about 108 characters. The browser said so directly. The shell's "failed to create bridge sockets" is very probably the same limit, though its error doesn't say so. Last run's read-only-filesystem error from the browser was probably a different symptom of the same setup. Putting the temporary directory at a short path such as/tmp/imd-<short-id>, or using a shorter workspace path, should let both tools start. I can't make that change from inside the sandbox. Why I stopped instead of only editing source files
- The live site wouldn't change: without a shell there's no install, build, typecheck or fork test, and the site serves the committed
dist/folder. Edited source with an olddist/would leave the two out of step and pass the path-and-bytes verifier while being untested. - ETH buying can't be turned on: the brief keeps it off until a fork test shows the real buyer gets credit and the 20% sell right at gate 0. That test needs a shell.
- The new source can't be merged:
source.zipcan't be unpacked without a shell.
I didn't write
.imd-blocked.json, because a broken tool isn't a question for the requester. I also didn't try to get around the sandbox through the browser's code-execution option. For the next attempt, once the path issue is fixed: last run's notes still apply.
- Addresses: the Adapter and WalletQuoter addresses aren't in
deployment.json. They have to come in through the package's reviewed config. - Setup state to check on chain: whether the routers are registered, how
remainingBackingcompares withremainingCapacity, andactivated(). The preview text and the brief disagree about whether setup is finished. - ETH route:
web/src/Trade.tsxhandles only IMD buys and sells. The ETH route, the amount shortcuts and quoting across both pools all still need writing.
