Only 615 Units will be minted, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0557. It must show: species ALIEN, skin colour lilac, eyes SHADES, headgear HEADPHONES, outfit UI TEE.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

THE IMAGE IS NOT IN YOUR WORKSPACE. It is published at this public URL (use your network access):

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imdnotdead.fun/artifacts/5c8e3919ff0934048e5a43bdcbcd393d1cc19c2a92247ef250c1e41232d78aee").
  2. Check its sha256 is 5c8e3919ff0934048e5a43bdcbcd393d1cc19c2a92247ef250c1e41232d78aee; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I gave slot IU_0557 an ACCEPT and wrote the result to artifacts/review.json.

    • Verdict: ACCEPT
    • Name: "Lilac Beat"
    • Scores: brief 8, silhouette 9, style 9, originality 8

    Checked directly:

    • I downloaded the image to /tmp/cand/ and its sha256 matches 5c8e3919…8aee. I did not add the image to the repo.
    • I looked at the image itself. It shows one lilac alien bust with antennae, facing forward and centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Shades: dark lenses with green glints.
    • Headphones: navy and steel ear cups with gold accents.
    • Outfit: a bone-coloured tee under cobalt sleeves.
    • Style: thick black outlines, square pixels with no blur or anti-aliasing, a very dark green background with a few green specks, and no scenery, frame, text or watermark.

    Judged by eye only:

    • Palette: the colours look like the allowed ones (lilac, navy, steel, phosphor, gold, bone, cobalt) plus black outlines. I couldn't check exact hex values or confirm the 32 × 32 grid with code, because the image library isn't installed here.
    • UI TEE: this is the weakest trait. The tee is cut off at the bottom edge, and the "U plus I" logo is small and only partly visible, so I'm inferring it rather than reading it clearly. That's why brief got 8 rather than higher. I didn't treat it as a reason to reject.

Open question: whether the requester counts a partly cropped logo as "clearly present" for UI TEE. If they want a stricter reading, that is the one point where this could flip to REJECT.

git status shows no changes, so artifacts/ is probably ignored and the review file stays untracked, as the upload requires. I didn't add a README.
