Build a complete responsive web application called Squeek Radar – Live Activity & Event Monitor.

Purpose: A public tool that monitors real-time hamster activity and events on Squeekchain. Anyone can use it without owning an NFT, staking SQK, playing games, or connecting a wallet.

1. Official API

Use the official documentation: https://docs.squeekchain.com/developers/api/

API base: https://api.squeekchain.com/v1

Use these documented endpoints:

  • /status
  • /events?category=measurement
  • /measurement/runs
  • /measurement/blocks
  • /measurement/stats?range=7d
  • /settlements?range=24h

Use real API data. Never fabricate values or events. Handle unavailable, stale, and missing data correctly. Missing data must not be displayed as zero.

2. Main Features

A. Live Activity

  • Current hamster status.
  • RPM and speed.
  • Today's distance.
  • Cumulative work units.
  • Last updated time.
  • Freshness indicator: Fresh / Stale / Unavailable.

B. Live Event Feed

Display actual events from the API:

  • Distance milestones.
  • Daily distance milestones.
  • Speed milestones.
  • New speed records.
  • Distance streaks.

Show event title, description, timestamp, and relevant values. Newest events first.

C. Milestone Radar

Show achieved distance, daily distance, speed, and activity streak milestones. Only mark milestones achieved when supported by actual API events.

D. Round & Block Monitor

Show round activity, work recorded, provisional blocks, block height, threshold, and confirmed settlements. Clearly distinguish provisional from confirmed data. Round duration is 600 seconds.

E. Alert Center

Detect new events, avoid duplicates, show timestamps, and allow users to mark alerts as read. Optional browser notifications must require user permission.

3. Dashboard

Create a home dashboard showing:

  • Current hamster activity.
  • Latest important event.
  • Latest milestone.
  • Block progress.
  • Recent events.
  • A short "What just happened?" summary based only on real data.

4. Design

Use a polished modern Web3 dashboard:

  • Dark navy/black theme.
  • Purple and blue accents.
  • Clean cards, charts, and icons.
  • Responsive desktop and mobile layouts.
  • Smooth animations.
  • Clear loading, error, and empty states.

5. Technical Requirements

  • Build a fully functional application, not just a visual mockup.
  • Integrate the real public API.
  • Use reusable components and clean code.
  • Refresh live data approximately every 5–10 seconds.
  • Cache historical statistics and avoid excessive API calls.
  • Keep working if an individual endpoint fails.
  • Do not add wallet connections, staking, tokens, or smart contracts.

Important data rules:

  • Distinguish accepted measurements from confirmed blockchain settlements.
  • Never label provisional blocks as confirmed.
  • Measurement runs are not necessarily SqueekCore-certified.
  • Clearly show stale or unavailable data.
  • Respect API coverage and UTC time boundaries.
  • Do not invent round IDs or unsupported events.

6. Deliverables

Provide:

  • Complete working application.
  • All five functional sections.
  • Real API integration.
  • Responsive interface.
  • Complete source code.
  • README and setup instructions.
  • GitHub-ready project structure.

Build the entire application now. Do not stop at a landing page or static demo. Prioritize real functionality, data accuracy, and usability.

Tagline: Know what's happening on the wheel.

MANDATORY GITHUB REQUIREMENT

Create a public GitHub repository named squeek-radar.

  • Upload the complete application source code.
  • Include README.md with project description, setup instructions, API integration, and deployment guide.
  • Include all required configuration and dependency files.
  • Include tests and source code, not just screenshots or a build.
  • Provide the actual GitHub repository URL in the final delivery.
  • Verify that the repository is accessible and contains the complete source code.

Do not consider the project complete until the GitHub repository has been created and the source code has been successfully pushed.

If GitHub authorization or access is required, clearly tell me what action is needed.

Saved 8 verified findings in .imd-findings.json. Application files remain unchanged.

    SeverityFinding
Highbug: Event-source unavailability disappears after history has loaded.
Highbug: Old settlement snapshots appear current without a stale-data warning.
Highbug: The populated rounds page expands to 851px at phone widths.
Mediumbug: Measurement runs never advance beyond the oldest history page.
Mediumaccessibility: “Skip to content” sends visitors back to Dashboard.
Mediumbug: Current round keeps loading after its sources report unavailable.
Mediumbug: Returning after 50 new events permanently loses ten events and alerts.
Lowtaste: Extra font weights add an unnecessary hierarchy level.

Each finding includes matching source citations, exact changes, viewport inputs and measured evidence. The other raw taste failure mistakes the Dashboard navigation tab for a kicker label.

Squeek Radar is a public wheel monitor carried by a navy card grid with purple radar accents.

    • highbug: an unavailable event source is hidden after the first successful loadsrc/js/views.js:102

Now: eventsGate returns immediately whenever state.events has retained history. After a later HTTP 200 status:unavailable response, refresh clears res.events.data but leaves state.events; staleNotice handles only errors. The event feed, dashboard event cards and milestone radar continue without an unavailable warning.

Change to: Show the events resource state and reason before rendering retained history; label retained entries as last-known history with the last successful check. Reuse that notice in every event-derived view, including milestones and alerts.

Why: The brief requires clearly showing unavailable data and keeping working when an individual endpoint fails. Retaining genuine history is useful only when visitors can tell that new events are no longer available.

At 390px, load #/events successfully, then fulfill the next /events?category=measurement&limit=40 poll with HTTP 200 and {"schemaVersion":4,"status":"unavailable","reason":"indexer_unavailable","events":[],"nextCursor":null}.

After the 10-second poll, inspect #/events, #/milestones and the dashboard.

Measured: res.events.state is unavailable, res.events.data is null, state.events still contains 11 events, and none of these views displays unavailable or the API reason; Milestone radar still says "Based on the full event history: 11 events."

Expected: an explicit source-unavailable notice beside last-known history.

    • highbug: durable-cache settlement snapshots are presented as current datasrc/js/api.js:105

Now: Successful responses discard X-Squeek-Settlement-Source. Polling records a new lastOkAt even when the API serves its old durable-cache snapshot, and the settlement view never exposes generatedAt or the snapshot window. The header can say Fresh while historical totals are stale.

Change to: Preserve the exposed X-Squeek-Settlement-Source header, carry the snapshot timestamp/window through resource state, and visibly label durable-cache or expired-window data as stale with its as-of time in the settlement panel and dashboard summary. Keep the last known confirmed data available.

Why: The brief requires handling stale data correctly. The official API explicitly documents HTTP-success durable-cache responses when the indexer is behind or unavailable; successful transport does not imply current data.

At 390px, open #/rounds with a normal fresh /status response.

For /settlements?range=24h, replay a schemaVersion:3 available payload with its ISO timestamps (generatedAt, window/bucket boundaries and settlement times) shifted two hours earlier, mining:{"status":"unavailable","reason":"not_configured"}, and response header X-Squeek-Settlement-Source: durable-cache.

Measured in Chromium: the resource state is ok with lastOkAt set to the current poll, the global header reads Fresh, and the entire Confirmed settlements, last 24 hours panel contains zero stale/cache/as-of warnings even though its source window has expired.

Expected: confirmed history remains visible but its stale snapshot source, actual window and time are explicit.

This test replays real API fields with a controlled old snapshot and the documented fallback header.

    • highbug: the populated rounds page scrolls into 461px of empty horizontal spacesrc/styles.css:874

Now: The settlement table scrolls locally, but its absolutely positioned screen-reader text is anchored outside .table-wrap. Those hidden transaction-link spans escape the scroll container and expand the document to 851px at phone widths, so a horizontal swipe can move the entire dashboard into blank space.

Change to: Add position: relative to .table-wrap so the absolute accessibility spans remain inside the table scroll container; retain overflow-x: auto and the full table contents.

Why: The brief requires a responsive mobile layout, and the review bar allows no page-level horizontal scrolling at 320px or 390px.

At 390px or 320px, open #/rounds with a successful real /settlements?range=24h response containing recent settlements, wait for entrance animations to finish, and swipe horizontally outside the table.

Chromium measured documentElement.scrollWidth=851 against innerWidth=390 (also 851 against 320); window.scrollTo(300,0) moves the whole page to scrollX=300 and exposes mostly empty background.

The first hidden transaction-link span sits at x=849.703125.

Adding position:relative to .table-wrap in DevTools reduces document scrollWidth to 390 while keeping tableWrap.scrollWidth=974 and all columns locally scrollable.

Expected: document width equals the viewport and only the table pans.

    • mediumbug: measurement runs never advance beyond the first history pagesrc/js/store.js:39

Now: Every 15-second refresh requests /measurement/runs?limit=20 without a cursor. This endpoint returns oldest segments first; runsBody reverses only that page and displays eight of them, so later activity is permanently inaccessible.

Change to: Follow nextCursor until caught up, retain the cursor for subsequent polls, merge segments by segmentId, and render the latest eight collected segments.

Why: A live activity monitor must expose arriving measurement runs rather than repeatedly rendering the beginning of the history.

At 390px, open #/live and read Measurement runs, then wait through two 15-second refreshes.

With the real API observed on 2026-11-05, the first 20 segments end at 04:16:21.243841Z and the visible first row stays at 04:16:21 UTC, although nextCursor is non-null and the next page contains segments through 04:19:50.870699Z.

Inspect Network: every runs request is the same cursorless URL.

Expected: later segments become visible; actual: only eight reversed entries from the oldest page can ever appear.

The official API documents items as oldest first and instructs continuing with nextCursor.

    • mediumaccessibility: Skip to content changes the active section to Dashboardsrc/index.html:22

Now: The skip link sets the URL hash to #main, but routeFromHash treats every unknown hash as Dashboard. Keyboard users attempting to skip navigation on another section are sent to a different screen.

Change to: Make the skip link focus and scroll the existing main element without changing the route hash, or explicitly ignore the main fragment in the hash router.

Why: A skip link must bypass repeated navigation while preserving the page the visitor is using.

At 390px (also applies at desktop widths), open #/live, focus the first "Skip to content" link using the keyboard, and press Enter.

Measured in Chromium: location.hash changes to #main, the H1 changes from "Live activity" to "Know what's happening on the wheel", and focus lands on Dashboard's page-title.

Expected: remain on Live activity with focus on main.

    • mediumbug: the current-round panel keeps loading after its sources report unavailablesrc/js/views.js:410

Now: When no round schedule or status has loaded, roundBody renders an error only if both status and blocks have state:error. Documented HTTP 200 status:unavailable responses instead leave Current round on a loading spinner indefinitely.

Change to: Treat unavailable resources as settled failures alongside errors when no schedule can be derived; render "Round data is unavailable" with the returned reason and retry explanation. Show loading only while a required source is actually loading.

Why: The brief requires clear loading, error and empty states, and unavailable data must be represented as unknown rather than perpetual loading.

At 390px, clear this site's localStorage and open #/rounds as a first visitor.

      Return HTTP 200 {"status":"unavailable","reason":"indexer_unavailable"} from /status, /measurement/blocks and /settlements?range=24h.

After all requests and subsequent automatic polls finish, Current round still reads "Loading round data", while the other panels correctly state that their data is unavailable.

Expected: the current-round spinner resolves to an unavailable message as soon as those responses are received.

    • mediumbug: returning to a tab can permanently skip new events and alertssrc/js/store.js:173

Now: Each poll merges only the newest 40 events, and olderCursor is set only on the first successful response. If more than 40 events arrive while polling is paused, the events between the new head and previously loaded history are never fetched; the feed can still claim its history is complete.

Change to: On each head refresh, follow nextCursor until reaching an already-seen event, merge every intervening page, and ingest these newly arrived events as unread alerts. Keep this catch-up cursor separate from older-history pagination and claim complete coverage only after gaps are filled.

Why: The brief requires detecting new events and respecting API coverage. Pausing a hidden tab is reasonable, but returning to it must not silently discard events or milestones.

At 390px, start with a valid 11-event response and nextCursor:null so the history is complete.

Simulate returning after 50 new measurement.speed_record events: supply the newest 40 in the next poll and a non-null nextCursor for the remaining ten.

In the controlled Chromium test, the new events used distinct documented record IDs, one-second-spaced timestamps, and recordMmPerSecond=1220+56*i (i=0..49), with previousRecordMmPerSecond 56 lower.

Measured after refresh: 51 total events instead of 61; 40 unread alerts instead of 50; res.events.data.nextCursor is non-null but state.olderCursor remains null; the footer still says "You have reached the start of the event history."

No request is made for the missing ten.

Expected: follow the new cursor and recover all 50 new events exactly once.

    • lowtaste: near-identical font weights add an unnecessary fourth levelsrc/styles.css:405

Now: Card headings, subheads and stat values use weight 650 alongside the existing 400, 600 and 700; missing-data text also introduces 500. These extra weights recur across the dashboard without adding a distinct role.

Change to: Reuse 600 for the current 650 declarations and 400 for .nodata's 500, preserving the existing sizes and spacing.

Why: The taste@1 bar limits the interface to three font weights; reusing the existing weights keeps status and card hierarchy consistent.

At 390px and 1440px, load the dashboard with successful API responses and run taste@1.

      The type-faces check reports "weights (4): 400, 600, 650, 700".

      Inspect computed styles: .card-title and .stat-value use 650, nav/buttons use 600, and the brand/H1 use 700.

In missing-data states .nodata adds 500.

Expected: at most three weights with the same existing layout.

This is a low-severity style finding, not a functional or accessibility failure.

  4. Build websiteAgent #193730 files changed

Reproduced and fixed all eight findings. Updated source, rebuilt dist/, and recorded every verdict in .imd-responses.json.

Passed: 29 tests, 11 browser scenarios, build and typecheck. Validation report documents the design review and limitations. Delivery remains below 2 MiB.

GitHub delivery remains incomplete: no GitHub connector or CLI is available here. An authenticated GitHub connection is needed to create and push public squeek-radar; no repository URL is claimed.

It sits above the dashboard summary and event cards (views.js:177,188,198,213), the feed (:357), the milestone radar (:389) and alerts (:549). The radar now says "Based on N events in last-known history" (:385).

Missed events become unread alerts once each. "Full history" is not claimed while a gap is open (views.js:383).
    Low: four font weightsFixedEvery font-weight in styles.css is 400, 600 or 700.

    New finding (medium)

bug: one unavailable runs poll wipes every collected run, and the panel then says "No runs on this page." (src/js/store.js:226)

    • Now: when the runs source answers "unavailable", line 226 clears the collected runs but keeps the saved position at the end of the history. The next successful poll asks only for runs after that position. If none are newer, the list stays empty, and runsBody (views.js:326) says "No runs on this page." The earlier runs are never fetched again in that session.
    • Change to: keep the collected runs when the source is unavailable, as settlements already does: if (key !== 'settlements' && key !== 'runs') r.data = null;. Or reset state.runsCursor = null in the same branch so the list rebuilds from the first page.
    • Why: the brief asks to "Handle unavailable, stale, and missing data correctly" and to "Keep working if an individual endpoint fails". A short outage should not turn real history int

Now: the runs fix keeps a tail cursor (state.runsCursor) and builds its list by merging each new page into state.res.runs.data.items (store.js lines 189-193). An HTTP 200 status:unavailable result on runs sets r.data = null (line 226), but state.runsCursor is kept. On the next successful poll the merge starts from nothing and requests only the page after the saved tail cursor.

When that page is the documented empty tail page (items:[] and a tail cursor), runsBody (views.js line 326) renders emptyState('No runs on this page.') even though up to 200 real segments were collected before the outage. Later polls only add segments that arrive after the outage, so the earlier history never comes back in that session.

Change to: keep the collected run segments when runs is unavailable, the way settlements already does (if (key !== 'settlements' && key !== 'runs') r.data = null;), and let staleNotice/gate show the unavailable reason above them. Alternatively, reset state.runsCursor to null in the same branch so the next success rebuilds from the first page.

Why: the brief says to 'Handle unavailable, stale, and missing data correctly' and to 'Keep working if an individual endpoint fails'. A brief outage should not turn the panel into an empty state, which tells visitors there are no runs.

      Width 390 (any width).

Open #/live and let /measurement/runs?limit=100 page through to the tail so the Measurement runs card lists eight segments and runsCatchingUp is false.

Fulfil the next runs poll with HTTP 200 {"status":"unavailable","reason":"indexer_unavailable"}: store.js:226 sets state.res.runs.data = null, and state.runsCursor still holds the tail cursor.

Fulfil the following poll (…&cursor=) with the API's empty tail page {items:[], nextCursor:, ...}.

Code path: refreshRuns, then applyData('runs'), which merges [] with state.res.runs.data?.items (now null), so data.items = []. runsBody then renders 'No runs on this page.'

Expected: the eight latest collected segments stay listed, with an unavailable or stale note while the source is down.

Actual: an empty state, and the earlier segments are not requested again.

      Traced from source (store.js:189-193, 226, 292-304; views.js:322-326).

The shell sandbox would not start this session, so no browser measurement was taken.
