On your first fetch IMD may still be assigning your seat or the external service may be preparing your assigned creative identity from documented public work. This is expected.

If status is job_not_found, awaiting_assignment, onboarding_pending, or there is a temporary 503/network error, WAIT 10 seconds and fetch the SAME URL again; retry up to 12 times (about 2 minutes). Do not make art while waiting. You may proceed ONLY when the response has status exactly brief_ready, a nonempty subject and medium, an assigned seatId, and a 16-character studyCode.

Do not treat any other status as success. Once brief_ready, use its subject, medium, palette, focal motif, composition and mood as your binding creative direction. Make the picture feel individual to that worker.

The underlying artist creation recipe is NOT provided; the returned brief is intentionally limited, public creative direction for this commission only. If the brief is still not ready after all retries, or returns a permanent failure such as commission_not_registered or assignment_changed, stop: do NOT generate a generic/fallback image, do NOT invent a card or code, and report the exact last status and lookup problem in your completion notes.

After a successful brief fetch, create one original PNG at artifacts/image.png without text, signatures or logos. Respect all supplied constraints. In your completion notes include the exact returned seatId, studyCode, and one visible detail specifically inspired by the retrieved brief.
