The Hooks Store, job 8: catalog hardening, so that no request leaves the builder a guess and no sentence earns a high audit finding. Three launches blocked after payment and the audit panels found design flaws in our sentences; SPEC.md section 4.16 (version 1.31, 30 numbered rules) is the complete list and binds this job: implement every rule of 4.16 in src/blocks/catalog.json, src/lib/compose.ts and the Builder.

The headline items: (1) type B and C requests open with a deployer whose constructor mines the CREATE2 salt itself (no salt argument, no deploy function afterwards), forwards the PoolManager, $owner and the recipient unchanged, and exposes hook(); the site shows 'hook not deployed yet' when hook() is zero; B and C bodies carry the references uniswap-v4-hooks and uniswap-v4-security; the wording IMD's free check accepted is in https://raw.githubusercontent.com/the-hook-store/hooks-store-spec/main/evidence/check-B-deployer.request.json, amended as 4.16 item 1 says.

(2) type A requests say beforeInitialize accepts only the IMD launch factory passed as $factory, with constructor arguments PoolManager address, $owner and $factory (item 2). (3) B and C requests restrict initialization to pools whose currency0 is native ETH, key every pool-dependent view and limit by PoolId, and define the token (item 3).

(4) every fee side, settlement, threshold and unit follows the pair currency, IMD pairs add the no-conversion and currency-order sentences, and with no fee block the composer writes 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' (items 4 and 9). (5) every request without Yield says the hook uses no outside pool, token, price feed or service; the body always carries owner; type A names the factory, B and C never do (items 5 to 7).

(6) fees are computed on the amount traded and a partly filled swap that specified the pair-currency amount reverts; Whale fee, Fee that fades, Volatility fee, Split the fee and Share fees with LPs are tied to one rate and one destination as item 10 says; 'burn' leaves the fee blocks; 'my wallet' is the paying wallet's address and 'treasury' is IMD's 0x3f252e859a277a86A3967c11D4E054B2f07a1F22 (items 8, 10).

(7) the Buyback jar buys only inside buyback() with a 3% price limit and keeps the standard token's bought tokens forever, the own token gains burn(uint256), the existing token burns only if it can (item 11); Share fees with LPs and Prize pot as items 12 and 13.

(8) the Anti-sandwich sentence, windows starting at the first swap, wallets as tx.origin with the stated limit, seconds instead of blocks, Max swap size on token amounts only, liquidity rules keyed per position, Sunset and Donation rules as items 14 to 21. (9) excludes become lists as item 22 says; Batch auctions is dimmed 'not in this version'; Dynamic LP fee needs the dynamic-fee flag and 6.4 initializes with it; Yield stays dimmed (items 23 to 25).

(10) words mode and Custom rule carry the warning and checklist, compose no hidden blocks, never deny owner functions the description grants, and a numbered rule wins; the six-block notice; mulDiv and the own-token supply cap (items 26 to 28).

Carry-overs: in the Describe it mode the hidden block stack was composed into the request (contradictory), and the composer wrote 'No owner functions' against a description granting them; both are covered by item 26.

Tests: composer tests for every block under every type and pairing assert the sentences of 4.16 (no ETH in an IMD-paired request outside the opt-out sentence, the deployer and factory sentences, the definition line, the references, 'Hook fee rate: 0%' when no fee block, the excludes lists); the consistency check of 6.7 fails on each forbidden combination; Playwright at 320, 390 and 1440 for the Builder in both modes.

Refresh SPEC.md from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/the-hook-store/hooks-store-spec/main/SPEC.md (now 1.31). Everything else from job 7 stays as delivered. Deliver source, dist/ and test results under tests/results/job8.

The second step is an adversarial review by a different seat, read-only, of the composed requests for every block under every type and pairing against SPEC 4.16, the consistency check, the fixed-facts comparison and the deployer and factory sentences: it reports concrete reproductions of any sentence a builder would have to guess, any sentence that would earn a high audit finding, or any check that lets one through, and the owner carries confirmed findings into the next job.

  3. Adversarial reviewAgent #625found 1 high, 2 medium, 1 low

I found four defects and reproduced each one by running the real compose.ts and safety.ts from scripts in /tmp. They are in .imd-findings.json, most severe first. No repository file other than .imd-findings.json was changed. None of the findings has a Foundry proof, because none is in Solidity.

    1. High: a fee written in words is missed, and the composer adds "Hook fee rate: 0%." (src/lib/compose.ts:220). The fee detector only recognises a number followed by %, IMD or ETH.

      • Input: a type B request in words mode, chain 4663, no blocks, with the description "Charge a fee of 30 basis points on every swap and send it to 0x6cba…8a34." "Take half a percent of every swap as a fee for the owner." fails the same way.
      • Result: the request contains both that description and "Hook fee rate: 0%.". validate() and checkConsistency() both return nothing, so a builder would get two contradictory fee rules after payment.
    2. Medium: a fee written in words gets no pair-currency sentence (compose.ts:219). The sentence naming the fee side, settlement and recipient is only written when a fee block is stacked.

      • Input: a type B request in words mode with "Take 1% of every swap as a fee."
      • Result: the request names no fee side, no settlement currency and no recipient, and the check passes. Rule 4 of 4.16 and section 6.7 require all three.
    3. Medium: the 5% fee cap ignores Fee that fades and Volatility fee (compose.ts:122).

      • Input: Swap fee 0.1%, Buyback jar 4.9%, Fee that fades starting at 30% (the catalog allows up to 30), Volatility fee 3%.
      • Result: rateTotal() returns 5 and nothing flags it, although the first swap pays 34.9% and a volatile period 7.9%.
    4. Low: the Builder allows block pairs that the consistency check then rejects (src/blocks/catalog.json, Max buy per wallet sentence).

      • Input: Max buy per wallet with Pause, Trading hours or Circuit breaker, or Liquidity lock with Pause or Circuit breaker.
      • Result: the Builder offers Add and validate() passes, but checkConsistency() reports a contradiction and Launch stays locked. The block menu gives no warning, so the user only finds out at Launch.

    What came out clean:

    • IMD pairing: for every block in a type A request paired with IMD, "ETH" appears only in the "do not convert" sentence, and the check raises nothing (apart from Split the fee's empty second address, which is meant to be flagged).
    • Required sentences: the deployer, factory, ETH-only pool, token definition, references, owner and no-outside-dependency sentences are all present and checked as 4.16 asks.
    • Excludes: the excludes lists are enforced in both directions.
    • Words mode: a saved block stack is left out of the request, and the summary still shows the words in Stack blocks mode.

Not covered, because time ran out: I did not run Playwright at the three widths, and I did not compare against the evidence files for the free check or IMD's fixed facts.

    • highWritten fee in words that are not '%' or 'IMD/ETH' is missed, and the composer adds 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' that contradicts itsrc/lib/compose.ts:220

writtenFeeRequested (line 179-182) only recognises a fee when the amount is written as a number followed by '%' or 'IMD'/'ETH'. Any other common phrasing of a fee (basis points, 'percent', 'half a percent') is not detected, so compose() appends 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' to a request whose description charges a fee.

The builder receives two contradictory fee rules, which is the post-payment question SPEC 4.16 item 9 and 6.7 exist to prevent. checkConsistency does not catch it: its fee-forbids-and-charges conflict only scans user rules for 'no fee'-style text, never the composer's own 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' line, and validate() returns no issue.

Type B, mode 'prompt', chain 4663, hname 'PondHook', no blocks, wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34, prompt 'Charge a fee of 30 basis points on every swap and send it to 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34.'

(also 'Take half a percent of every swap as a fee for the owner.').

Expected: no 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' line, because the description charges a fee (or the check locks Launch).

Actual: compose() contains both the charging 30 bps and the line 'Hook fee rate: 0%.'; validate() returns [] and checkConsistency(body()) returns [].

    • mediumFee charged in words gets no pair-currency fee-side, settlement or recipient sentence, and the check passessrc/lib/compose.ts:219

The pair-currency fee sentence (fee side, settlement, claim minting, 'Fee recipient: ') is only written when a fee block is stacked. When the fee comes from the description or a Custom rule, writtenFeeRequested suppresses 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' but nothing replaces it, so the request leaves fee side, settlement currency and recipient to the builder.

SPEC 4.16 item 4 says every fee side and settlement follows the pair currency, and 6.7 says every fee sentence names the pair currency for side and settlement and every recipient is an address. checkConsistency only flags a wrong currency or a non-address recipient when one is written; it does not flag a missing one.

Type B, mode 'prompt', chain 4663, hname 'PondHook', no blocks, connected wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34, prompt 'Take 1% of every swap as a fee.'.

Expected: the request names the ETH fee side and settlement and the recipient address, or the check locks Launch.

Actual: compose() has neither 'Fees are always taken from the ETH (pair currency) side' nor 'Fee recipient:' nor 'Hook fee rate: 0%.'; validate() returns [] and checkConsistency(body()) returns [].

    • mediumThe 5% fee cap ignores Fee that fades's start rate (up to 30%) and Volatility fee's ratesrc/lib/compose.ts:122

rateTotal() counts swap-fee, jar, pot, fee-size and fee-dir only. Per SPEC 4.16 item 10, Fee that fades replaces the Swap fee's rate starting at its start rate (catalog max 30) and Volatility fee replaces it with its own rate (max 5), so the effective pair-currency fee can be far above the 5% that 4.10 and the validate() notice ('All ...-side fees together ... must stay at or below 5%') promise. validate() and checkConsistency() both pass.

Type B, blocks mode, chain 4663, hname 'PondHook': Swap fee rate 0.1, Buyback jar rate 4.9, Fee that fades start 30, Volatility fee fee 3 (defaults otherwise).

      Expected: a rates issue, since the first swap pays 30% + 4.9% = 34.9% (and a volatile period 3% + 4.9% = 7.9%).

Actual: rateTotal() = 5, validate() returns [], checkConsistency(body()) returns []; rule 3 of the request reads 'the rate starts at 30.0% at the pool's first swap'.

    • lowPalette allows block pairs whose catalog sentences contradict, so the consistency check locks Launch with no exclusion shownsrc/blocks/catalog.json:124

Max buy per wallet's sentence says 'Sells are never blocked', and Liquidity lock contradicts Pause/Circuit breaker's 'Liquidity can always be removed' promises. None of these pairs is in an excludes list, so blockedReason() offers ADD and validate() passes, but checkConsistency() reports a contradiction and Launch is locked. The user gets no palette hint and cannot fix the request except by removing a block.

The check is right that the request would be contradictory; the defect is that two catalog sentences contradict each other while the palette allows them together (SPEC 4.16 item 22, 6.7).

Type A, blocks mode, chain 4663, ETH pair, pool 50: add Max buy per wallet, then Pause (or Trading hours, or Circuit breaker). blockedReason(draft, BY_ID['pause']) returns null and validate() returns [], but checkConsistency(body()) returns 'Unrestricted sells conflict with a rule that can reject sells...'.

Same with Liquidity lock plus Pause or Circuit breaker: 'A liquidity lock conflicts with the other rule's promise...'.

Expected: either the sentences scope their promises (for example 'this rule never blocks sells') so they compose cleanly, or the pair excludes each other in the palette.

Three defects still allow contradictory requests through:

    • bug: Writing “1 percent” produces both the requested positive fee and Hook fee rate: 0%.

    • highbug: written percent fees receive a contradictory zero-fee footersrc/lib/compose.ts:220

Now: Written fees such as “Charge a 1 percent hook fee” are not recognized by writtenFeeRequested, so compose appends “Hook fee rate: 0%.” to a request that explicitly charges a fee. Neither validate nor checkConsistency flags the contradiction.

Change to: Recognize percentage amounts written with “percent” and reject uncertain fee prose before adding a zero default; check the generated fee footer against written fee clauses as well as numbered rules. Add regressions for Describe it and Custom rule.

Why: SPEC 6.7 requires a complete, consistent request before payment; the job explicitly requires that no request leaves the builder a guess. The builder must currently choose between a positive fee and the generated zero.

Width 390 (composer behavior is width independent).

Select Hook only → Describe it; Hook name PondHook, deploy Robinhood Chain, owner 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111.

Enter exactly: Charge a 1 percent hook fee on the ETH side of every buy, settled in ETH and sent to 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111.

      No owner functions.

Open Exact text the swarm receives.

Actual: both the 1 percent sentence and Hook fee rate: 0%.

      Reproduced with body(draft, owner): validate(draft, owner) returns [], checkConsistency(body(draft, owner)) returns [].

Replacing “1 percent” with “1%” removes the erroneous zero.

Expected: preserve the positive rate or block the request with an actionable finding.

Chromium on the shipped dist at 390×844 confirms both Check with the swarm (free) and Continue to launch are enabled, with no displayed errors.

    • highfidelity: built-in words examples omit required PoolId argumentsweb/src/Builder.tsx:23

Now: The supplied Price reading and Owner pause controls examples name twap(uint32 secondsAgo), pause(), unpause() and paused() without a pool argument. A B/C request simultaneously requires every pool-dependent function to take the pool id and isolates state by PoolId. The consistency check accepts both instructions.

Change to: Use twap(PoolId poolId, uint32 secondsAgo), pause(PoolId poolId), unpause(PoolId poolId) and paused(PoolId poolId) in the built-in examples, and reject incompatible pool-dependent signatures in B/C written requests.

Why: SPEC 4.16 item 3 requires every pool-dependent view and limit to be keyed by PoolId. A standalone hook can serve multiple pools; these supplied interfaces cannot identify which pool to read or pause.

Width 390; select Hook only → Describe it → Price reading, set Hook name PondHook, deploy Robinhood Chain and owner 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111.

Expand Exact text the swarm receives.

Actual: the description specifies twap(uint32 secondsAgo), while the same request says “pass the pool id to each pool-dependent function.” body()/validate()/checkConsistency() reproduce this with validate=[] and consistency=[].

The Owner pause controls chip has the same problem for three signatures.

Expected: each supplied example accepts PoolId and has one unambiguous interface.

Chromium on the shipped dist at 390×844 confirms both affected example chips produce these signatures and leave Check with the swarm (free) and Continue to launch enabled, with no displayed errors.

    • highbug: words-mode fee recipient disagrees with the deployer constructorsrc/lib/compose.ts:239

Now: feeRecipient reads only active fee blocks and otherwise uses the payer. In B/C Describe it requests, an explicit written fee destination therefore disagrees with the fee recipient named and forwarded unchanged by the deployer constructor. The consistency check accepts both full addresses.

Change to: Resolve one effective recipient for the deployer and the written fee rule, or require an explicit structured recipient for written fee requests and reject disagreement before checking/payment. Do not silently default to the payer when the visible description grants fees to another address.

Why: SPEC 4.16 items 1 and 10 require the deployer to forward the fee recipient unchanged and fee rules to have one destination; SPEC 6.7 requires contradictions to lock Launch. The builder must currently choose between the constructor recipient and the written recipient.

  6. Adversarial reviewAgent #3found 1 high, 1 medium

Three of my four earlier findings are fixed. The first one (high) is only partly fixed, and I found one new medium issue. Both are in .imd-findings.json. I changed no repository files; the scripts I ran were in /tmp/rv.

    Earlier findings:

    1. [high] 418c451b, a written fee gets a contradictory "Hook fee rate: 0%." line: partly fixed.

      • What now works: I ran the original inputs ("30 basis points", "half a percent"). The 0% line is gone, the pair-currency fee sentence and recipient are written, and the checks pass.
      • What still fails: the detector at src/lib/writtenFees.ts:25 only counts a fee if the clause contains the word fee, jar or pot, or a verb like take, charge or collect. Many common ways of writing a fee have neither:
        • "1% of every swap goes to the owner."
        • "Add a 2% tax on sells for the owner."
        • "Skim 1% of every swap for the owner." / "Keep 1% of each swap for the owner."
      • For each of these, the request still gets "Hook fee rate: 0%.", with no fee side or recipient sentence, and both validate() and checkConsistency() return nothing. This happens in Describe it mode and with a Custom rule, under types A, B and C. The final consistency guard (safety.ts:189) uses the same detector, so it misses these too. I filed this again as high.
    2. [medium] f77fb0a9, a written fee has no fee-side, settlement or recipient sentence: fixed. For "Take 1% of every swap as a fee." the request now names the ETH side, ETH settlement, the recipient address and the amount-traded rule.

    3. [medium] 1f896273, the 5% cap ignored Fee that fades and Volatility fee: fixed. The reported stack now totals 34.9%, and both checks refuse it. The fade start is capped at 5%.

    4. [low] 505680786, block pairs that contradict each other were allowed: fixed. I ran every allowed pair of blocks under types A (ETH and IMD pairs), B and C, 1,014 combinations in all. Every pair the palette allows passes both checks with no finding.

    New finding:

    • [medium] A written fee and a block fee are checked against the 5% cap separately (safety.ts:165). Example: type B with a Swap fee block at 3%, plus a Custom rule saying "Also charge a 4% fee on every swap for the owner." Together that is 7%, over the 5% cap. Yet rateTotal() returns 3, and both checks return nothing. The builder also has to guess whether the 4% is added to the 3% or overridden by the numbered rule.

Neither finding is in Solidity code, so neither has a Foundry proof attached. Each one names the exact input and the actual output of compose(), validate() and checkConsistency().

    • highPrior finding 418c451b not fully fixed: a written fee with no word 'fee' and no charging verb still gets 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' and passes every checksrc/lib/writtenFees.ts:25

The fix widened the amount units (percent, per cent, bps, basis points, word fractions). But writtenFeeClauses still counts a clause only if it contains the word fee/jar/pot or one of the verbs take/charge/collect/deduct/withhold/levy. Very common fee phrasings have neither: a percentage that 'goes to' someone, a 'tax', 'skim', 'keep'.

For these, compose() still adds the generated line 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' after a or block that charges a fee. It writes no pair-currency fee-side, settlement or recipient sentence, and has no 5% cap check. The 6.7 zero-footer guard in safety.ts line 189 uses the same writtenFeeClauses, so it misses the same text too. validate() and checkConsistency() return nothing.

The builder gets two fee rules that contradict each other, which is the post-payment guess SPEC 4.16 item 9 and 6.7 are meant to prevent. This is the same defect as the original finding, reached with different wording.

Type B, Describe it mode (d.mode='prompt'), chain 4663, hname 'PondHook', no blocks, wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34.

Prompt '1% of every swap goes to the owner.'

(also 'Add a 2% tax on sells for the owner.', 'Skim 1% of every swap for the owner.', 'Keep 1% of each swap for the owner.').

Expected: no 'Hook fee rate: 0%.', plus the 'Fees are always taken from the ETH (pair currency) side ... settled in ETH ...

Fee recipient: 0x6cba...' sentence, or else a blocking consistency finding.

Actual: compose(d, W) contains the and the line 'Hook fee rate: 0%.'; it does not contain 'pair currency) side'; C.validate(d, W) returns [] and checkConsistency(C.body(d, W)) returns [].

Same result in blocks mode with a Custom rule whose text is 'Add a 2% tax on sells for the owner.', for types A, B and C (A with ETH pair, pool 50): the request has 'Custom rule: Add a 2% tax on sells for the owner.' followed by 'Hook fee rate: 0%.', and validate and checkConsistency are both empty.

      Script: import * as C from 'src/lib/compose.ts'; import {checkConsistency} from 'src/lib/safety.ts'; const d=C.newDraft(); d.type='B'; d.mode='prompt'; d.settings={...d.settings,chain:4663,pair:'eth',pool:50,hname:'PondHook'}; d.prompt='1% of every swap goes to the owner.'; C.compose(d,W).includes('Hook fee rate: 0%.') === true; checkConsistency(C.body(d,W)).length === 0.

    • medium5% pair-side cap counts a written fee and a block fee separately, so a Custom rule fee on top of Swap fee reaches 7% with no findingsrc/lib/safety.ts:165

Section 4.10 (restated in the validate() message) says all pair-currency-side fees together must stay at or below 5%. The revision added a written-fee cap, but it compares each written rate with 5% on its own. rateTotal() (src/lib/compose.ts line 120) counts block rates only. Neither check adds a written fee to the block fees.

So a Custom rule that charges an extra fee alongside a Swap fee block passes, even though together they exceed the cap. The request also leaves the builder to guess whether the Custom rule fee is additive (the words say 'also') or overridden by 'A numbered block rule also wins over the Custom rule', because the two do not literally conflict.

Type B, blocks mode, chain 4663, ETH pair, hname 'PondHook'.

Add Swap fee with rate 3, then a Custom rule with text 'Also charge a 4% fee on every swap for the owner.'

      Wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34.

      Expected: a 'rates' issue, because the ETH-side fees total 3% + 4% = 7% > 5%.

      Actual: C.rateTotal(d) = 3, C.validate(d, W) returns [], checkConsistency(C.body(d, W)) returns [].

The request contains both 'Custom rule: Also charge a 4% fee on every swap for the owner.' and '1.

Take 3.0% of the ETH side of every buy and sell as a hook fee ...'.

All three original reproductions are fixed. Two related safety defects remain, recorded in .imd-findings.json:

    • High — bug: “payable to [treasury]” leaves the payer in the deployer and fee footer, contradicting the written destination.
    • High — bug: a price threshold of “1 percent” lets “charge a small hook fee” pass without an actual fee rate.

Both reproduce for B/C, both written editors, and all three widths. Each passes the local consistency gate and enables Continue after a mocked successful free check.

    • highbug: fees described as payable to treasury still use the payer in the deployersrc/lib/writtenFees.ts:32

Now: The new recipient parser does not recognize “payable to”. A written treasury destination is retained in the request, while the deployer constructor and generated fee footer default to the payer; both validation and the final-body consistency check accept the conflicting addresses.

Change to: Resolve payable-to destinations through the same effective recipient used by the constructor and footer, or block an unresolved written destination before checking/payment. Add this exact wording to both-editor B/C regressions and final-body mutation tests.

Why: SPEC 4.16 items 1 and 10 require one unchanged constructor recipient and one fee destination; 6.7 requires a contradictory request to lock Launch. The original “send it to” reproduction is fixed, but this ordinary destination spelling still reproduces the same defect.

No wallet signature, payment or live request was sent.

    • highbug: a price threshold passes as the missing written fee ratesrc/lib/safety.ts:162

Now: The written-fee guard accepts any percentage anywhere in a charging clause as the fee amount. A price-change threshold of 1 percent therefore allows an explicitly vague “small hook fee” with no actual rate; no zero default is added and the local consistency gate reports no finding.

Change to: Require an unambiguous amount attached to the fee itself, independently of percentages used for price triggers or limits. Block this prose with “Name an exact fee amount”, or require a structured rate, and add both-editor regression coverage.

Why: SPEC 6.7 requires the request to be complete before payment; the revision explicitly promises that uncertain fee amounts lock Check and Continue. A builder must currently invent the fee rate.

design_critic findings unresolved after 2 revisions: no revision budget left for build_website (2 revisions) — bug: a fee 'transferred to' or 'forwarded to' an address still deploys with the payer as recipient

Of the two findings from last round, the price-threshold one is fixed. The "payable to" one is fixed for that spelling, but the same defect still gets through with other ordinary wording, so I've raised it again with a new reproduction. .imd-findings.json holds that one finding, and no other file was changed.

    1. Price threshold accepted as the fee rate (src/lib/safety.ts:162): fixed.

    • I ran the exact sentence again ("When the pool price moves by 1 percent… charge a small hook fee…") for types B and C, in both Describe it and Custom rule. The consistency check now returns fee-rate ("Name an exact fee amount…"), and the request no longer gets the "Hook fee rate: 0%." line.
    • That finding locks the Builder's Check and Continue buttons (web/src/useSwarmCheck.ts:29, web/src/Builder.tsx:283-284) and the Launch step (web/src/LaunchReview.tsx:179).
    • Two nearby wordings are also caught: a 2 percent liquidity trigger with no fee amount, and "a modest hook fee, capped at 5 percent".

    2. "Payable to" treasury fee still paid to the payer (src/lib/writtenFees.ts): fixed for that wording only.

    • The exact reported sentence now puts the treasury 0x3f25…1F22 in the deployer constructor and the "Fee recipient:" footer, for B and C in both editors. "paid to" works too.
    • The address lookup only knows each destination verb in its base form plus sent, paid and payable. So "transferred to", "forwarded to", "routed to", "remitted to" and "with proceeds transferred to" find no address.
    • In each of those cases the constructor and footer fall back to the payer 0x1111…1111, while the description still sends the fee to the treasury. Both validation and the consistency check return nothing, so the free check and Continue stay unlocked.
    • The shipped bundle (dist/assets/index-BY4Eg384.js) carries the same address-matching pattern. I reproduced this through the composer functions the Builder calls, not by clicking through the browser this round.
    • It stays high, as a bug at src/lib/writtenFees.ts:65, because it breaks SPEC 4.16 items 1 and 10 and 6.7 the same way the original did.
    • The fix in the finding: accept the past-tense forms of those verbs, and have the consistency check flag a 0x address in fee wording that differs from the constructor's recipient. Add these spellings to the regression tests for B and C in both editors.

I found nothing else new that I could reproduce.

    • highbug: a fee 'transferred to' or 'forwarded to' an address still deploys with the payer as recipientsrc/lib/writtenFees.ts:65

Now: the recipient parser lists the destination verbs only in their base form (send, pay, route, transfer, forward, remit, distribute) plus sent/paid/payable. Past participles such as 'transferred to', 'forwarded to', 'routed to' and 'remitted to' return no target. The written treasury destination stays in the creator's words, but the deployer constructor and the 'Fee recipient:' footer fall back to the payer, and neither validate() nor checkConsistency() flags the conflict.

The fix for 'payable to' holds; this is the same defect reached through another ordinary spelling.

Change to: accept the inflected forms in the destination group, e.g. (?:send|sent|pay|paid|payable|route[sd]?|transfer(?:s|red)?|forward(?:s|ed)?|remit(?:s|ted)?|distribute[sd]?), and as a backstop make checkConsistency report 'recipient' when the description holds a 0x address attached to fee language that differs from the constructor and footer recipient. Add these four spellings to the both-editor B/C regressions.

Why: SPEC 4.16 items 1 and 10 require one fee destination, passed unchanged through the deployer constructor; 6.7 requires a contradictory request to lock Check and Launch. A builder handed this request must guess which of two addresses gets the fee.

Width independent (pure composer; the shipped dist/assets/index-BY4Eg384.js carries the same regex).

Type B, Describe it; hook name PondHook, Robinhood Chain (4663), ETH pair, owner and paying wallet 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111.

Enter exactly: 'Charge a 1 percent hook fee on the ETH side of every buy, settled in ETH, with the fee transferred to 0x3f252e859a277a86A3967c11D4E054B2f07a1F22.

      No owner functions.'

Run body(draft, payer), feeRecipient(draft, payer), validate(draft, payer) and checkConsistency(body(draft, payer)).

Actual: writtenFeeTargets(prompt) = []; feeRecipient = 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111; the deployer sentence reads '...$owner and the fee recipient 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111...' and the footer 'Fee recipient: 0x1111111111111111111111111111111111111111.', while the description sends the fee to 0x3f252e859a277a86A3967c11D4E054B2f07a1F22; validate = [] and checkConsistency = [], so the Builder's 'Check with the swarm (free)' and Continue are not gated (Builder.tsx:283-284, useSwarmCheck.ts:29).

The same result appears with 'forwarded to', 'routed to', 'remitted to', and with 'with proceeds transferred to'; it also holds in Custom rule and for type C (with an existing token address set).

For comparison, 'payable to' and 'paid to' now resolve to the treasury correctly.

Expected: the constructor and footer name 0x3f252e859a277a86A3967c11D4E054B2f07a1F22, or a recipient consistency finding locks Check and Continue.

  10. Adversarial reviewAgent #32found 1 medium, 1 low

Review complete. Both findings I raised last round are fixed as stated, and the findings file at .imd-findings.json records two residuals, one medium and one low.

Prior high finding (written fee with no fee word, b02b0a7c): fixed. I ran the author's reproduction for all four phrasings in Describe it and Custom rule, types A and B, chain 4663, wallet 0x6cba…4a34. Each now composes the pair-side, settlement, recipient and partial-fill sentences, omits the zero line, and passes validation with no findings. The rebuilt bundle under dist/ contains the new detector.

Prior medium finding (written fee not counted toward the 5% cap, ffcbc178): fixed. Swap fee 3% plus the written 4% now totals 7% in rateTotal, blocks in validate, and blocks again in the consistency check, for A on both pairings, B and C. The boundary cases pass and fail as the author describes.

Residual, reported as medium. The written-fee detector remains a word allowlist, and one-word synonyms still get the silent zero line with no finding. The following prompts each compose Hook fee rate: 0%. with no fee-side sentence and empty checks, in both editors and types A and B:

    • "The owner receives 1% of every swap."
    • "1% of each trade goes to the owner."
    • "2% commission on every swap to the owner."
    • "Buyers pay a 1% toll to the owner.", "Route 1% …", "Divert 1% …", "1% … accrues to the owner."

I lowered this from high because the stated inputs are fixed and the author's review already says the guards cover tested forms only. The finding suggests a structural fix: any written amount next to a trade word with no fee block should count as fee intent, and an amount the parser cannot attach to a charge should raise the existing clarification finding instead of writing zero.

Residual, reported as low. The combined cap adds the written maximum to the block maximum across directions rather than per direction. Buy 2% / sell 4% plus a written 2% on buys only is blocked as 6% although no direction exceeds 4%. This is conservative and blocks a legal request rather than letting one through.

No files in the tree were changed other than the findings file. The untracked dotfiles shown by git are environment files, not mine.

    • mediumPrior finding b02b0a7c is fixed for its stated inputs, but synonymous fee wordings (trade, receives, commission, toll, route, divert, accrues) still get 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' with no findingsrc/lib/writtenFees.ts:27

Settlement of the prior high finding: the four reported phrasings ('1% of every swap goes to the owner.', 'Add a 2% tax on sells for the owner.', 'Skim 1% of every swap for the owner.', 'Keep 1% of each swap for the owner.') now produce the pair-side, settlement, recipient and partial-fill sentences, no zero line, and validate()/checkConsistency() are empty, in Describe it and Custom rule, types A and B. That finding is fixed as stated.

The residual: writtenFeeClauses is still an allowlist of words. A clause with a percentage needs the word fee/tax/levy/skim/jar/pot, or a charging verb from a fixed list, or (swap|buy|sell) plus (goes|payable|paid|sent|routed) to. Ordinary one-word substitutions miss all three: 'trade' instead of 'swap', 'receives' instead of 'goes to', 'commission'/'toll' instead of 'fee', 'route'/'divert' as the verb, 'accrues to'.

For these compose() still writes 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' after a or that plainly charges a fee, writes no pair-currency fee-side, settlement or recipient sentence, and no check fires. The consequence is the same contradictory request as the original finding; the severity is lowered because the stated reproductions are fixed and the author's own REVIEW.md states the lexical guards cover only tested forms.

A structural fix would stop this class: when written text contains a percentage, bps or ETH/IMD amount together with a trade word (swap, buy, sell, trade) and no fee block is present, treat the clause as fee intent; if writtenFeeAmounts cannot attach the amount to a charge, emit the existing 'fee-rate' clarification finding instead of silently writing the zero line.

Type B, Describe it mode (d.mode='prompt'), chain 4663, hname 'PondHook', no blocks, wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34.

Prompt 'The owner receives 1% of every swap.'

(also '1% of each trade goes to the owner.', '2% commission on every swap to the owner.', 'Buyers pay a 1% toll to the owner.', 'Route 1% of every swap to the owner.', 'Divert 1% of every swap to the owner.', '1% of every swap accrues to the owner.').

Expected: no 'Hook fee rate: 0%.' and the 'Fees are always taken from the ETH (pair currency) side ... settled in ETH ...

Fee recipient: 0x6cba...' line, or else a blocking finding.

Actual: C.compose(d,W).includes('Hook fee rate: 0%.') === true; the text does not contain 'pair currency) side'; C.validate(d,W) returns [] and checkConsistency(C.body(d,W)) returns [].

Same for blocks mode with a Custom rule carrying the same text, and for type A (ETH pair, pool 50).

      Script: import * as C from 'src/lib/compose.ts'; import {checkConsistency} from 'src/lib/safety.ts'; const d=C.newDraft(); d.type='B'; d.mode='prompt'; d.settings={...d.settings,chain:4663,pair:'eth',pool:50,hname:'PondHook'}; d.prompt='The owner receives 1% of every swap.'; C.compose(d,W).includes('Hook fee rate: 0%.') === true; C.validate(d,W).length === 0; checkConsistency(C.body(d,W)).length === 0.

    • lowCombined 5% cap (prior finding ffcbc178, now fixed) over-counts a direction-specific written fee against the other direction's block rate, blocking a valid 4% requestsrc/lib/safety.ts:167

Settlement of the prior medium finding: Swap fee 3% plus Custom rule 'Also charge a 4% fee on every swap for the owner.' now gives rateTotal()=7, a 'rates' issue from validate() and a 'rates' finding from checkConsistency(), for A (ETH and IMD pair), B and C; 3%+2% passes; 1%+4.01% fails. Fixed as stated.

Residual, conservative only: both rateTotal() in compose.ts (line 130) and combinedRate here add the written total (the max over buy/sell) to the block peak (the max over buy/sell) instead of summing per direction and then taking the max. With Different buy and sell fees of buy 2% / sell 4% and a written 2% on buys only, the real highest same-direction total is 4% (buy 2+2, sell 4+0), under the cap, but the request is blocked as 6%.

The author documents written charges as conservatively additive, so this blocks a legal request rather than letting one through; it does not create a builder guess.

Type B, blocks mode, chain 4663, hname 'PondHook', wallet 0x6cba4751742f6989fa224b2dc5d5d52fcef98a34.

Add Different buy and sell fees with buy=2, sell=4, then a Custom rule with text 'Also charge a 2% fee on every buy for the owner.'

Expected: no 'rates' issue (highest simultaneous ETH-side total is 4%).

      Actual: C.rateTotal(d) = 6, C.validate(d,W) returns a 'rates' issue, checkConsistency(C.body(d,W)) returns a 'rates' finding saying the fees total 6%.
