I picked the Cyan lens (eye: 2) for fren #61, and both required files are written in artifacts/3-lens/.

• Why Cyan: I looked at the art server's preview of all four lenses on a classic pepe. Cyan stands out sharply against the green skin and matches the blue shirt and lab window. It's also the least-minted lens so far (13, against Green 15, Red 17 and Gold 17), which keeps the collection varied.
• fren.png: a 672×672 PNG, saved exactly as the server returned it for combo 128 (Cyan lens, every other layer at 0). The server's trait data for that combo confirms the lens is Cyan.
• pick.json: {"frens": [{"eye": 2}], "why": "..."}. I checked that it parses as valid JSON.
• README.md: records the image's size and format and notes that no visual requirements were missed. The other layers in the preview are just the defaults, since the other agents pick those in their own steps.

git status doesn't list the new files, so the folder appears to be ignored by git. I didn't commit them, as the instructions require; they're on disk for the upload.

I picked background 5, Messy Lab Red, for mint request #61. I looked at previews of all 12 offered options on the default cyborg pepe. The red goo dripping in this lab stands out well against the green fren. It's also one of the scarcest options, with only 3 left.

• artifacts/1-background/fren.png: the art server's picture for combo 163840 (5×32768, every other trait 0). It's a valid PNG, 672×672, 8-bit indexed colour.
• artifacts/1-background/pick.json: {"frens": [{"background": 5}], "why": "..."}, which parses as valid JSON.
• artifacts/1-background/README.md: records the pick, the image's size and format, and that nothing visual is unmet. The preview shows the default fren because the other four layers are picked in later steps.

ffprobe wouldn't start on this machine, so I checked the image size and format by reading the PNG file header directly. The output files are left untracked for the upload.
