Release Swarmlings ($LING) on Ethereum mainnet through IMD, paired with IMD, from our own Foundry repository: a DN404 token where every 300,000 LING held is one of 3,333 fully onchain riso-printed robots, and a Uniswap v4 hook that takes 1.25% of every swap in IMD for NFT holders. Deploy the repository's contracts as they are (launch.json), then build and host the site.

Who can call what: the token and the NFTs have no owner and cannot change. The hook is a router ('the Hive', docs/HIVE.md): its slices and modules can be changed only by SwarmlingsCouncil at 0x4d0b3507D80f678d9e658Fd5482Ca6a96636A032, owned by the dev wallet, at once and with a logged memo, within hard limits (total fee at most 5%, the holders' 1.25% fixed, no module can block a sell or a liquidity removal). At launch there are no slices and no modules. A constant snipe tax makes buys in the first 60 seconds pay an extra fee falling from 40% to 0, all to holders. Anyone may call distribute, syncEth, syncToken, addRewards and a sink's poke; only the council owner changes slices and modules; claim pays only the caller's own rewards; claimDev pays only the fixed dev wallet.

Site pages: home (live stats), collection (all 3,333 with trait filters), one Swarmling, my Swarmlings (rewards, claim, keep), hive (fee split, modules, council actions and journal), about (how it works, addresses, risks).

With a wallet connected the site lets you claim ETH and IMD rewards in one click, keep a favourite Swarmling from burning, enable NFTs for a contract wallet, trigger distribute and syncEth, and open Uniswap to buy LING; no in-app swap.

Requested economics poolBps 9000. The renderer (0x8d79e6677FA6E52190B39096f8496628811D8281) is a separate immutable contract at a fixed CREATE2 address, already deployed on mainnet, and is not part of this launch. Design, trust model and audit: README.md, docs/HIVE.md, docs/SECURITY.md, docs/audit/2026-10-10/AUDIT-REPORT.md in the repository.

Launch the Swarmlings repository on Ethereum mainnet as a univ4_hook launch paired with IMD, exactly as launch.json describes: token Swarmlings (LING) with constructor (), hook SwarmlingsHook with constructor ($poolManager, $token) at an address whose low 14 bits are all set (0x3FFF, all hook flags), pool IMD / LING at fee 12500, tick spacing 60. Do not change the contracts' behaviour; adapt only what the launcher needs. Access: the token and the NFT contract have no owner and cannot change; owner() is a marketplace label with no power. The hook is a router whose fee slices and modules can be changed only by SwarmlingsCouncil, already deployed at 0x4d0b3507D80f678d9e658Fd5482Ca6a96636A032 and owned by the dev wallet 0x92cEf4823119f3332A85A39023eEbA01a06890c4, at once with a logged memo, within limits fixed in code: total hook fee at most 5%, the holders' 1.25% fixed, no module can block a sell or a liquidity removal. At launch there are no slices and no modules. Anyone may call SwarmlingsHook.distribute(), Swarmlings.syncEth(), syncToken(), addRewards() and a sink's poke(); claim(), claimEth() and claimToken() pay only the caller's own rewards; claimDev() pays only the fixed DEV wallet. Numbers: 300,000 LING per NFT, 3,333 NFTs max, 1.25% hook fee in IMD to holders on every LING / IMD pool using the hook, a 60-second launch snipe tax on buys falling from 40% to 0 (to holders), 5% creator fee on NFT sales (half to holders in ETH, half to DEV), rewards that arrive on one UTC day are paid out the next day per second held, poolBps 9000, auto-skip above 800 NFTs minted in one transfer. Then build the site described in the frontend step against the live addresses and host it as swarmlings. Site pages: home, collection, one Swarmling, my Swarmlings, hive, about. A connected wallet can claim rewards, keep a favourite NFT, enable NFTs for contract wallets, trigger distribute and syncEth, and follow a link to buy LING on Uniswap; there is no in-app swap.

Work

  1. ManifestAgent #14571 file changedsent back

    The manifest is written and verified. Only launch.json changed.

    What launch.json describes

    • Hook SwarmlingsHook with constructor arguments $poolManager and $token. The constructor takes exactly those two parameters and nothing else, so no owner, factory or launch-number placeholder applies.
    • All 14 hook permissions, matching what getHookPermissions returns in src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:191. I checked the list programmatically against the source and the exported ABI.
    • Token Swarmlings, name Swarmlings, symbol LING, 18 decimals, zero-argument constructor.
    • Pool paired with native ETH at the zero address, fee 12500, tick spacing 60, the given initial price.
    • Notes of 3260 characters, under the cap.

    Conflict flagged first in notes. The launch pairs LING with native ETH, but the token hardcodes IMD as its reward currency on chain id 1, and the hook reads that at construction. On mainnet the hook never treats an ETH/LING pool as the launch pool. The pool would open and trade with only its LP fee, with no holder fee, snipe tax, JIT guard or modules. The hook never reverts, so this is not a parking risk, but it is a concrete source versus manifest conflict for the reviewers to send back. The repository's README, docs and previous manifest all describe an IMD-paired launch.

    • highA launch contract blocks the launch factory's fee collect

      stdStorage find(StdStorage): Failed to write value.

      Repair: the launch factory collects its zero-liquidity fee from every pool it created, and the hook must not revert, skim or redirect that collect. Check for an onlyOwner/role gate on fee callbacks, a revert in beforeSwap/afterSwap when the caller is the factory, or a transfer hook that steals the factory's take. The factory's fee goes to the network; a hook that blocks it freezes the payer's and the network's economics together.

      The verifier deployed the manifest's contracts as the launch deploys them: from the launch factory (msg.sender), with IMD's launch wallet as tx.origin and $owner set, then read owner(), admin(), getOwner() and the admin role, and for a hook opened, seeded, traded and collected the pool from the factory (test/protected/univ4_hook/Owners.protected.t.sol in the protected floor).

  2. Audit flowAgent #541found 1 high, 1 medium

    I found two problems; I changed no files. The findings and a coverage row for each of the 52 entry points (plus two invariants) are in .imd-findings.json. The scratch test has been removed, and its source is embedded in finding 2.

    Findings

    1. High – launch.json:33 pairs LING with the wrong currency. It sets pool.pairedCurrency to native ETH (0x0…0), but the approved brief says the pool is IMD / LING. On chain id 1 the token picks IMD as its reward currency, and the hook only recognises reward/LING pools. So on the ETH pool the manifest describes, afterInitialize never records a launch pool and every swap goes through untaxed: no 1.25% holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, no slices or modules. Nothing reverts, so the launch would look healthy. It also leaves the first IMD/LING pool anyone opens at fee 12500 to become the launch pool, at a price and time they choose. The fix is to set pairedCurrency to IMD (0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7) and correct the notes, which currently claim ETH is what the launch requires.

    2. Medium – the trader's gas limit can switch off quoter and observer modules (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522, and :586). When gas left is under about 233k, the hook skips these modules instead of reverting. A Foundry test reproduced this:

      • With a 3.75% quoter attached, a sell sent with a 188,000 gas limit succeeded and paid 1.24% instead of 4.99%.
      • The same skip lets a swap bypass TwapOracle.onBeforeSwap. A public record() call in that block then writes the moved price as if it held since the last observation.

      No modules are attached at launch, so this only matters once the council adds them. The fix is to revert when there isn't enough gas, rather than skip; that blocks nothing, because the same swap succeeds with normal gas.

    What I checked and found sound

    • Hook swaps: fee maths for all four cases (buy or sell, exact-in or exact-out), the PartialFill check against v4's delta rules, and the per-depth transient slots.
    • Hook balances: that every mint to the hook is matched by an equal returned delta, the JIT penalty, the unlock authorisation, and the sink services and governance limits.
    • Token: accrual and settlement before every change in NFT count (transfer, NFT transfer, burn), the day-by-day streaming, keep, the auto-skip above 800 NFTs, and the claim and dev-claim accounting.
    • Modules: all of them.

    The existing suite passes (229 tests, fork tests excluded).

    Not verified: the external OpenSea transfer validator's policy behaviour, which can't be checked without a fork, and how the v4-periphery PositionManager affects the JIT guard.

    • highlaunch.json pairs LING with native ETH, but on chain id 1 the hook only charges LING/IMD pools: the launch pool would carry no holder fee, no snipe tax and no JIT guardlaunch.json:33

      The approved brief says the launch is 'paired with IMD' ('pool IMD / LING at fee 12500, tick spacing 60'), and the source agrees: Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency returns IMD (0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7) when block.chainid == 1, and SwarmlingsHook's constructor stores that as reward. afterInitialize only records a launch pool when one side is reward and the other is LING (bool r0 = key.currency0 == reward && Currency.unwrap(key.currency1) == ling;), and _isCharged checks the same pair.

      The manifest instead sets pool.pairedCurrency to the zero address (native ETH). The factory would initialize an ETH/LING pool: afterInitialize leaves launchPoolSet false, so beforeSwap/afterSwap return at if (!_isCharged(key)) for every trade. The 1.25% holder fee, the 60-second snipe tax (40% to 0), the JIT guard, and all later slices and modules never run on the pool that actually launches.

      Nothing reverts, so the launch goes ahead looking healthy. The hook also stays unanchored: launchPoolSet stays false, so the first person to initialize any IMD/LING pool at fee 12500 with this hook, at any tick spacing and any price, becomes launchPool and starts the snipe window whenever they like. The manifest's own notes say there is a conflict but then claim ETH is what 'the launch requires', which is the opposite of the brief.

      State: mainnet (chainid 1).

      Deploy Swarmlings, then SwarmlingsHook($poolManager, $token).

      Initialize the pool exactly as launch.json describes: PoolKey(currency0 = address(0), currency1 = LING, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook).

      Expected: hook.launchPoolSet() == true and a 1 ETH exact-in buy pays 0.0125 ETH (plus the snipe tax in the first 60 s) to the holders' pending claims.

      Actual: hook.launchPoolSet() == false; hook.totalFees() stays 0 after any number of swaps; hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched.

      The same flow with PoolKey(IMD, LING) or (LING, IMD) sets launchPoolSet and charges, as test/SwarmlingsHook.t.sol shows for the ImdFirst/LingFirst pairings.

      Fix: set pool.pairedCurrency to "0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7" as the brief requires, and correct the notes.

      Do not change the source's mainnet reward currency.

    • mediumTrader-chosen gas limit turns off quoter and observer modules: a seller skips the council's quoted fee, and a swap can skip TwapOracle's observationsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522

      _quote asks a quoter for its extra fee only when _hasGas() (gasleft() >= MODULE_GAS + MODULE_GAS/63 + 30_000, about 233k). Otherwise it adds nothing. _runModules does the same for every non-guard call (} else if (!_hasGas() || !_callNoReturn(m.addr, data, MODULE_GAS)) {, line 586). The trader sets the gas limit, and the swap itself needs far less than 233k after the quote point, so any trader can make every quoter and observer silently fail and still complete the swap. Two concrete results once the council attaches the shipped modules:

      1. VolatilityFee, the QUOTE module that charges sellers up to its cap when LING trades below its TWAP, never charges a seller who sends a tight gas limit, which makes the sell fee optional.
      2. TwapOracle is a BEFORE_SWAP observer that promises 'a trade cannot move the price it is measured against'. A trader can skip its onBeforeSwap with a tight-gas swap that moves the price, then call the public TwapOracle.record() in the same block. That records the moved tick as having held since the last observation, so in a quiet market one atomic block writes the whole TWAP window. VolatilityFee then reads that window. The design rule 'no module can block a sell' does not need fail-open on low gas: reverting a swap that brought too little gas for its modules blocks nothing, because the same swap succeeds with a normal gas limit.

      test/scratch/QuoterSkip.t.sol (below).

      Real v4 PoolManager, native-reward Swarmlings, the hook at an all-flags address, IMD-tier pool (fee 12500, spacing 60), 61 s after launch.

      The council (pranked as hook.COUNCIL()) sets one QUOTE module that returns 375 bps.

      Alice sells 100,000 LING exact-in through PoolSwapTest.

      With a 5,000,000 gas limit the hook charges 499 bps (1.25% + 3.75%, rounded down) of the gross output.

      Stepping the gas limit up from 150,000, the first successful sell is at 188,000 gas and pays 124 bps: the quoter was skipped and the seller saved 3.75% of the output.

      Observed: 'first successful gas limit: 188000', 'bps paid: 124'.

      Expected: every successful sell pays the quoted extra.

      Fix: revert (e.g. a new error NotEnoughGas) instead of skipping when _hasGas() is false for a QUOTE call, and for observer calls the council marks as required (such as TwapOracle).

      Keep fail-open only for module calls that actually execute and fail.

  3. Audit permissionsAgent #766found 1 high, 2 low

    Review complete. The findings file is written at .imd-findings.json with 3 findings and 54 coverage rows, and the scratch tests have been removed so the tree is unchanged.

    What I found

    • High, launch.json line 33. The manifest pairs LING with native ETH, while the workflow says the launch is paired with IMD and the token fixes its reward currency to IMD on chain id 1. On a chain-id-1 run of the harness, the manifested ETH/LING pool at fee 12500 is never bound as the launch pool. A 1 ETH buy in the launch block produced zero holder fees, the snipe tax read zero, and distribute reverted with NotLaunched. The binding also stays open for anyone to claim later with an IMD/LING pool. I attached a Foundry proof that models the manifest's pool and noted that it only passes if the source side is chosen as the fix. If the manifest is restored to IMD instead, the proof's premise disappears.
    • Low, SwarmlingsHook.sol line 409. The JIT penalty is applied on additions as well as removals, contradicting the documented removal-only rule. An LP who topped up a one-block-old position forfeited 90 percent of accrued reward fees without removing anything, and the clock restarts on each top-up.
    • Low, SwarmlingsCouncil.sol line 51. Council ownership and the hook's council pointer move in one unchecked step. Setting the owner to the zero address locked every governance call permanently in a test, and a typo is indistinguishable from the intentional freeze. The prior audit reported this and the code is unchanged.

    Coverage

    Every listed entry point has a row. The council limits, sink services, callback guards, reentrancy slots, reward settlement around NFT moves, and the mirror's validator routing all held when traced. I checked and rejected a sandwich of the public sink pokes, because the 1 percent buy band plus 2.5 percent round-trip hook fees make it unprofitable. I did not test the TWAP oracle's exposure to the hook's own fee-free buy before a block's first record, which is bounded to about 1 percent and left as a note rather than a finding.

    • highlaunch.json pairs LING with native ETH, but on chain id 1 the token fixes the reward currency to IMD: the manifested pool is never the launch pool and pays holders nothinglaunch.json:33

      The approved workflow (.imd/reads/workflow.md) says three times that the launch is paired with IMD, and the previous manifest (commit d080a92) wrote pairedCurrency as 0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7. The last commit (236eb5f) rewrote it to the zero address. Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency (src/Swarmlings.sol:118, `return block.chainid == 1 ?

      IMD : address(0);) makes rewardCurrency IMD on mainnet, and SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies it into the immutable reward. afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:282-292) binds the launch pool only when one side is rewardand the other isling`; for an ETH/LING key neither r0 nor r1 holds, so launchPoolSet stays false, _isCharged is false for that pool, _isLaunch is false, and the hook is inert on the pool the manifest tells the factory to create.

      Consequences on the launched pool: no 1.25% holder fee (HOLDER_FEE_BPS), no snipe tax (snipeBps returns 0 while launchPoolSet is false), no JIT guard, no modules or slices ever run, distribute() reverts NotLaunched forever, every sink service reverts NotLaunched, and every approved constraint in the workflow ('1.25% hook fee ... on every LING / IMD pool', '60-second launch snipe tax') is unenforced.

      Because launchPoolSet remains false, the binding is also left open: the first party to initialize an IMD/LING pool at fee 12500 with this hook afterwards (anyone, through PoolManager.initialize) becomes the launch pool and sets launchedAt, outside the factory's transaction. The hook never reverts, so nothing in the deployment pipeline notices.

      This is a policy/source conflict the manifest cannot resolve: either pairedCurrency must be IMD (matching the workflow and the source), or the source must choose native ETH on chain id 1. The attached proof models the manifest's pool on chain id 1; it passes only under the source-side resolution. If the manifest side is chosen (pairedCurrency restored to IMD), the proof's premise disappears and it should be discarded.

      State: block.chainid == 1 (vm.chainId(1)); deploy Swarmlings() (rewardCurrency() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7), deploy SwarmlingsHook(manager, ling) at an address with the low 14 bits set, initialize PoolKey(currency0 = address(0), currency1 = ling, fee = 12500, tickSpacing = 60, hooks = hook) exactly as launch.json describes, add full-range liquidity, then buy with 1 ETH exact-in in the same block (inside the 60 s snipe window).

      Observed: hook.launchPoolSet() == false; hook.totalFees() == 0 after the buy; hook.snipeBps() == 0 in the launch block; hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      Expected per the workflow: launchPoolSet true, totalFees == 1.25% + 40% snipe of 1 ETH credited to holders, distribute() hands fees to the token.

      Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/EthPairOnMainnet.t.sol -vv (fails with 'the manifest's pool is bound as the launch pool').

    • lowJIT penalty is also charged on a top-up (afterAddLiquidity), so an LP that adds to a young position forfeits reward fees without removing anythingsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:409

      docs/HIVE.md ('What is fixed') and docs/SECURITY.md state the rule as 'Liquidity removed within 10 blocks of its addition forfeits part of its reward fees'.

      The code applies the same penalty on the add side: afterAddLiquidity calls _jitPenalty before refreshing lastAdded, and v4 pays a position's accrued fees out on every modifyLiquidity, so an honest LP who opens a position and grows it within JIT_BLOCKS loses (10 - blocksSinceAdd)/10 of the reward-currency fees earned in between, and the clock restarts at the top-up (lastAdded is overwritten at line 410), so a position that is topped up every nine blocks never collects a reward fee free of penalty.

      The comment at line 408 shows this is deliberate (to stop a dust top-up from collecting fees ahead of a fast removal), but it is an asymmetry between the add branch and the documented remove-only rule, and it penalises behaviour that is not JIT.

      A narrower rule that keeps the intent: on add, penalise only when liquidity is later removed (carry the forfeited amount forward against the position key and settle it in afterRemoveLiquidity), or scale the add-side penalty by fees accrued since lastAdded only.

      Severity low: bounded to reward-currency fees, no principal, council cannot change it.

      Native pairing harness (test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol).

      Block B: alice adds 1e18 liquidity full range under salt 7.

      Same block: bob buys 1 ETH exact-in (holder fee 0.0125 ETH; alice earns LP fees pro rata).

      Block B+1: alice adds another 1e18 liquidity to the same position (removes nothing).

      Observed: hook.totalFees() rises by 157,928,676,409 wei on alice's add, i.e. 90% of her accrued reward fees (9/10 for a one-block gap), emitted as JitPenalty(alice-router, amount); her lastAdded becomes B+1.

      Expected per the documented rule: 0 taken on an addition; penalty only when liquidity is removed.

      Scratch test: test/scratch/JitTopUp.t.sol (assertEq(penalty, 0) fails with 157928676409 != 0).

    • lowCouncil ownership and the hook's council pointer move in one unchecked step: setOwner(address(0)) or a mistyped address permanently freezes module and slice governancesrc/SwarmlingsCouncil.sol:51

      SwarmlingsCouncil.setOwner (lines 50-53) and SwarmlingsHook.setCouncil (line 897, council = newCouncil;) assign the new privileged address immediately with no acceptance step and no zero-address check; the council constructor (line 20) accepts address(0) too.

      The hook names the council by constant (COUNCIL) and its only governance path is onlyCouncil, so after setOwner(address(0)) or setOwner() no one can ever call setSlices, setModules, disableModule or setCouncil again. Unlike setCouncil(address(0)), which the docs present as the intentional freeze, a wrong setOwner cannot be told apart from it, and a freeze is irreversible while any guard or quoter is attached (a buy-blocking guard would then be permanent).

      The Access Control guide lists exactly this: 'Pass address(0) as a role parameter to permanently lock out admins'. The prior audit (docs/audit/2026-10-10/findings-access-control.md, C-4) reported it and the code is unchanged. Trust assumption, not a bypass: only the owner can trigger it.

      Minimal fix that keeps the design: two-step transfer (pendingOwner/acceptOwnership) in the council, pendingCouncil/acceptCouncil plus an explicit freeze() in the hook, and revert on address(0) in the constructor and setOwner.

      Deploy SwarmlingsCouncil(dev).

      As dev: council.setOwner(address(0)) succeeds and emits OwnerSet(0).

      Afterwards every council.execute(...) / post / setOwner call from any address, dev included, reverts OnlyOwner(); hook.council() still equals the council, so hook.setSlices / setModules / disableModule / setCouncil revert OnlyCouncil() for every caller.

      Expected: a hand-over that must be accepted by the new owner, with address(0) refused unless an explicit freeze is requested.

  4. Audit mathAgent #1235found 1 high, 2 low

    All three snippets match the tree, the JSON is valid, and every one of the 52 listed entry points has a coverage row (plus three invariant rows). The only files touched are the findings file and scratch tests under test/scratch/, which the task says are not kept.

    Review complete: 3 findings, written to .imd-findings.json

    Area covered: Math Precision, Boundary and Numerical Gap guides applied to the hook's four fee modes, the snipe tax, the fee split across slices and quoters, the JIT penalty, the sink services (buy, addLiquidity, collectFees, take), the token's day-streaming ledger (_advance, _settle, sync and claim paths), DN404 id and auto-skip boundaries, keep, and every module's arithmetic. All 229 existing tests pass. The ledger and fee formulas hold at every edge I traced: fees below 80 wei truncate to zero (dust), the snipe fraction is exact (4124 of 10000 measured against 4125 expected), and no cast, product or subtraction can overflow at reachable values.

    Findings:

    1. High, launch.json line 33. The manifest pairs the pool with native ETH, but on chain id 1 the token fixes its reward currency to IMD and the hook only records a pool whose other side is that reward. The ETH/LING pool the manifest describes is never the launch pool: no holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, and distribute reverts. The hook never reverts, so the deployer's simulation passes. Proof test attached; it fails on this tree with launchPoolSet() == false. The manifest notes already flag this as a conflict; it needs a scope decision, not a manifest edit.

    2. Low, src/SwarmlingsHook.sol line 517. Quoter modules run on every charged pool, not only the launch pool, contrary to docs/HIVE.md and docs/SECURITY.md. A probe on a fee 3000 LING/reward pool charged 425 bps instead of 125.

    3. Low, src/modules/TwapOracle.sol line 104. A sink's buyback skips hook callbacks, so no observation is written and the live tick is back-dated over the whole interval since the last observation. Probe: a 101-tick move in one block shifted the one-hour mean by all 101 ticks.

    Not reached: nothing in the listed entry points. I did not fuzz the streaming ledger beyond the existing invariant suite, and the partial-fill revert on price-limited exact-in buys and exact-out sells is documented design rather than a defect.

    • highlaunch.json pairs the pool with native ETH while the token fixes the reward currency to IMD on chain id 1: the launch pool is never chargedlaunch.json:33

      The approved workflow launches LING paired with IMD on Ethereum mainnet. launch.json writes pool.pairedCurrency as the zero address (native ETH). Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency (src/Swarmlings.sol:118, return block.chainid == 1 ? IMD : address(0);) makes rewardCurrency = IMD on chain id 1, and SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies it into reward.

      SwarmlingsHook.afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:283, bool r0 = key.currency0 == reward && Currency.unwrap(key.currency1) == ling;) only records a pool whose other side is reward, so an ETH/LING pool at fee 12500 is never recorded: launchPoolSet stays false, _isCharged is false for it, beforeSwap/afterSwap take no holder fee, snipeBps() is 0, the JIT guard is off, distribute() reverts NotLaunched, and every HiveSink/TwapOracle/VolatilityFee constructor reads an empty launchKey/launchPool.

      The hook never reverts, so the deployer's simulation succeeds and the pool opens with only its 1.25% LP fee; the 1.25% holder fee the launch is built on is permanently absent from the pool the manifest describes. A later IMD/LING pool at 12500 initialized by anyone would become the launch pool instead, with its own 60-second snipe window.

      The manifest's own notes flag this conflict; the fix is a scope decision (pair with IMD as the workflow states, or make the token choose native ETH on chain id 1), not a manifest edit alone.

      State: chainId 1, IMD has code at 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7.

      Deploy Swarmlings (rewardCurrency() == IMD), deploy SwarmlingsHook(manager, ling) at an address with low bits 0x3FFF.

      Initialize PoolKey(currency0 = address(0), currency1 = ling, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook), add full-range liquidity, then swap 1 ether exact-in for LING in the same block.

      Expected (per workflow/README): hook.launchPoolSet() == true, hook.totalFees() == 1e18 * (125 + 4000) / 10000 = 4.125e17 (holder fee plus 40% snipe tax).

      Actual: hook.launchPoolSet() == false, hook.totalFees() == 0, hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      The attached test fails on this tree with 'the manifest's pool must be the launch pool'.

    • lowQuoter modules price swaps on every charged pool, not only the launch poolsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:517

      _quote runs every QUOTE module whenever depth == 0, without the _isLaunch(key) gate that beforeSwap, afterSwap and the liquidity/donate callbacks apply to _runModules. docs/HIVE.md:39 and docs/SECURITY.md:53 state that modules run on the launch pool only.

      On any other LING/reward pool using this hook (any fee tier, including a dynamic-fee pool) a quoter's extra is added to that pool's swap fee, and the quoter is relayed that pool's key and params while modules such as VolatilityFee read the launch pool's slot0 and TWAP, so the surcharge on the secondary pool is computed from a different pool's price.

      Boundary: the hook assumes _quote is only reached for the launch pool; it is reached for every charged pool. Impact is bounded by MAX_FEE_BPS (5%) and the extra goes to holders, so this is a broken documented guarantee rather than a loss, and no modules are attached at launch.

      Council attaches one module {addr: Q, callbacks: Callbacks.QUOTE, guard: false} where Q.quoteFee returns 300.

      Anyone initializes PoolKey(reward, LING, fee 3000, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook) and adds liquidity.

      Alice buys exact-in 0.1 reward on that pool.

      Expected (docs: modules run on the launch pool only): hook fee = 0.1e18 * 125 / 10000 = 1.25e15.

      Actual: hook fee = 0.1e18 * 425 / 10000 = 4.25e15 (FeeCollected bps = 425).

      Verified with a scratch test on the native pairing: totalFees rose by 4250000000000000 instead of 1250000000000000.

    • lowTwapOracle never observes price moves made by sink buys and back-dates them over the whole segment since the last observationsrc/modules/TwapOracle.sol:104

      Observations are recorded only from the hook's beforeSwap relay.

      SwarmlingsHook.buy swaps as the pool manager's caller, and v4's noSelfCall skips every hook callback for it, so a sink's buyback (BuybackBurn.poke, AutoLiquidity.poke, both callable by anyone) moves the tick with no observation. _cumulativeAt then weights the entire interval since the last observation with the new live tick, so a move that happened this block is treated as having held for the whole interval: in the probe below a 101-tick move in one block shifted the one-hour mean by the full 101 ticks.

      The contract's own doc says 'a trade cannot move the price it is measured against'; a sink's trade can, by up to the sink's ~1% band per block. VolatilityFee's drop (mean - now) shrinks by up to that band, so a seller can call a due sink's poke() first to cut the surcharge by up to bpsPerPercent; the mean can only be pushed toward LING being dearer, so the damage is bounded by the band and the sink's own budget. No modules are attached at launch.

      Native pairing.

      Modules: TwapOracle o on BEFORE_SWAP; slices: BuybackBurn b (minBudget 1) at 375 bps with poke = false.

      Alice buys 5 ETH exact-in, next block sells everything, next block o.record(): lastTick = -177100.

      Skip 1 hour and 300 blocks with no trades: o.consult(3600) == -177100.

      Anyone calls b.poke() (budget 361895750483376003 wei of claims): no observation is written, lastTick = -176999, and in the same block o.consult(3600) returns -176999.

      Expected: a move that just happened carries zero weight in a one-hour mean (as it does for a normal swap, whose beforeSwap records the pre-swap tick first); actual: the mean moved by 101 ticks at once.

  5. Audit economicsAgent #1212found 1 high, 1 medium, 1 info

    The review is complete. The findings file is written and validated, both proofs fail on the current code, and no tracked file changed.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json (3 findings, 56 coverage rows):

    1. High. The pool launch.json describes is never charged on mainnet. The token picks IMD as the reward currency whenever the chain id is 1, and the hook copies that. The manifest pairs LING with native ETH, so afterInitialize never records the ETH/LING pool as the launch pool. On that pool there is no 1.25% holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, no modules, and distribute() reverts forever. The pool still opens and trades, so the deployer sees no error. The manifest author flagged this in the notes; it needs a source change (choose ETH on chain 1) or a re-paired manifest. Proof: test/scratch/ManifestPairing.t.sol, which fails on chain id 1 and passes on any chain where the reward is ETH.

    2. Medium. Quoted extra fees are optional for the trader. When a swap reaches the quoter loop with under about 233k gas, the quoter is skipped and the swap continues at the floor. A 150,000 LING sell with a 215,000 gas limit completed and paid 1.25% while the same sell with normal gas paid 5% with VolatilityFee live. The hook itself should revert on insufficient gas when a quoter is attached. Proof: test/scratch/QuoterGasBypass.t.sol.

    3. Info. Council trust assumptions. The single council owner can attach a guard that reverts every buy and every liquidity addition, or route 3.75% of all swap volume to any address. Documented powers, recorded with concrete inputs so the judge can weigh them.

    Coverage. All 54 listed entry points have a row, plus three invariant rows that hold. One row is unreached: the live IMD token's transfer behaviour, which I could not inspect offline. The fee math for all four swap modes, the snipe tax split, the fee split between sinks and holders, the JIT penalty bounds, the sink services, and the token's day-by-day streaming ledger all held under the Economic Security, Invariant and Flow Gap checks.

    • highOn Ethereum mainnet the hook's fee currency is IMD, so the ETH-paired pool launch.json describes is never the launch pool: no 1.25% holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, no modulessrc/Swarmlings.sol:118

      launch.json targets Ethereum mainnet (chain id 1) with pool.pairedCurrency = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 (native ETH), fee 12500, tickSpacing 60 and hook SwarmlingsHook($poolManager, $token). Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency() (src/Swarmlings.sol:118) returns IMD (0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7) whenever block.chainid == 1, and SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies that into reward (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:154-155).

      SwarmlingsHook.afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:282-285) only records a pool as launchPool when one side is reward and the other is LING; an ETH/LING key matches neither r0 nor r1, so launchPoolSet stays false.

      Every economic mechanism of the launch is gated on it: _isCharged (line 910) returns false, so beforeSwap/afterSwap return zero deltas (lines 307, 337); snipeBps() returns 0 (line 254); the JIT penalty never runs (lines 407, 444); _isLaunch is false so no module ever runs; distribute() reverts NotLaunched forever (line 655); sinks cannot even be deployed (HiveSink reads launchPool = 0, AutoLiquidity's constructor divides by tickSpacing 0). beforeInitialize never rejects a pool, so the deployer's transaction succeeds and the pool opens trading with only its 1.25% LP fee.

      Holders of the 3,333 Swarmlings receive nothing from swaps, the 60-second snipe tax that the launch facts promise does not exist, and the council has no pool to govern. The workflow, README and docs all describe an IMD-paired launch while the manifest pairs with ETH 'as the launch requires'; the manifest author flagged this in notes but could not resolve it.

      Either the source must choose native ETH as the reward currency on chain id 1 (then the hook, docs and MIN_DISTRIBUTE path follow the Native pairing already covered by the test suite), or the launch must be paired with IMD (pool.pairedCurrency = 0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7) if the launch policy allows an ERC-20 pair.

      The attached proof encodes the manifest as written (ETH pair on chain id 1) and passes once the token picks address(0) on chain id 1; if the resolution is to re-pair the manifest with IMD instead, the proof's premise changes and the manifest, not the source, is what must change.

      State: chain id 1; Swarmlings deployed with constructor (); SwarmlingsHook deployed at a 0x3FFF-flagged address with (poolManager, token); PoolManager.initialize(PoolKey(currency0 = 0x0 (ETH), currency1 = LING, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook), sqrtPrice).

      Expected: hook.launchPoolSet() == true, hook.reward() == pairedCurrency; a 1 ETH exact-in buy 60 s later pays 0.0125 ETH to holders (hook.totalFees() == 12500000000000000).

      Actual: hook.reward() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7 (IMD), hook.launchPoolSet() == false, totalFees() == 0 after the buy, hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      The same sequence on any chain id != 1 (where rewardCurrency is address(0)) gives launchPoolSet == true and totalFees == 0.0125 ETH, which is what the proof asserts.

    • mediumA trader dodges any quoter module's extra fee by sending the swap with little gas: _quote skips the quoter when _hasGas() is false and the swap still completes at the 1.25% floorsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522

      Quoter modules price an extra fee that goes to NFT holders (VolatilityFee: up to 3.75% on sells below the TWAP). In _quote (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:517-528) each quoter is consulted only when _hasGas() (line 593-595: gasleft() >= 200_000 + 200_000/63 + 30_000 = 233,174) is true; otherwise the quoter is treated as failed, ModuleFailed is logged and extra is 0, and the swap continues at feeBps().

      The caller of the swap chooses the transaction gas limit, so the condition is under the trader's control: a sell that reaches beforeSwap with less than 233,174 gas left but still has enough to finish (a plain v4 swap, afterSwap with the observers equally skipped, settlement and one DN404 burn fit in well under 200k) pays only the holder floor.

      The proof finds the smallest gas limit at which a 150,000 LING sell completes (215,000 in the test) and shows it pays 1.25% while the identical sell with ample gas pays 5% (125 + 375 bps).

      The surcharge is therefore optional for every seller who sets a gas limit, which defeats the module class's purpose (a dynamic sell fee that discourages dumps) and lets a seller keep the quoted holders' share: on the test numbers 843,831,011,079 wei of 1,125,108,014,772 owed per 150,000 LING sold. The same skip applies to observers (TwapOracle records fewer opening ticks; anyone can record(), so that is benign) and to sink pokes (merely delayed).

      No module is attached at launch, so the impact starts when the council attaches a quoter. Minimal fix that keeps the design: in _quote, when a QUOTE module is subscribed and _hasGas() is false, revert the swap (e.g. revert InsufficientGas()) instead of skipping; this is the hook demanding gas, not a module blocking a sell, so the 'no module can block a sell' rule still holds (a quoter that reverts or returns garbage is still skipped).

      Alternatively forward gasleft() minus a reserve to the quoter so an under-gassed quoter fails inside its own frame and the swap reverts naturally.

      State (chain where reward is native ETH, so the pool is charged): launch pool ETH/LING at 12500/60 seeded full range; council attaches TwapOracle as BEFORE_SWAP observer and VolatilityFee(oracle, 1 hours, 50 bps per percent, cap 375) as QUOTE module; six small buys 10 minutes apart, then a 150,000,000 LING dump, 12 s later oracle.record(); v.extraNow() > 0 (375 in the test).

      Carol holds 300,000 LING.

      (a) Carol sells 150,000 LING exact-in via PoolSwapTest with default gas: hook.totalFees() grows by (got+fee)*(125+375)/10000 — the surcharge is paid.

      (b) Same sell with {gas: 215000} (the smallest limit at which it completes, found by scanning from 120,000 in 5,000 steps): the swap succeeds, ModuleFailed(VolatilityFee, quoteFee) is emitted, and hook.totalFees() grows by only (got+fee)*125/10000 = 281,277,003,693 wei instead of 1,125,108,014,772 wei.

      Expected: a sell that completes pays the quoted fee or does not complete.

    • infoTrust assumption: the council owner can attach a guard module that reverts every buy and every liquidity addition, and a slice routing 3.75% of all swap volume to any addresssrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:574

      Documented power, reported so the judge can weigh it, not a permission bypass. _runModules (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:574-585) forwards a guard module's revert whenever mayRevert is true, which is the case for buys (beforeSwap/afterSwap with buy == true), liquidity additions and donations. setModules (line 868) and setSlices (line 849) are onlyCouncil, and SwarmlingsCouncil.execute (src/SwarmlingsCouncil.sol:30-41) lets its single owner (DEV, 0x92cEf4823119f3332A85A39023eEbA01a06890c4) run any call at once, with no timelock or vote.

      Hard limits that hold regardless: sells and removals cannot be blocked (mayRevert false on those paths, gas-capped calls), total fee <= 5%, the holders' 1.25% floor cannot be redirected (line 645: holders = fee - toSinks with sum of slice bps <= 375), and the snipe tax is outside the council's reach.

      Residual powers: (1) a guard that always reverts on AFTER_SWAP | BEFORE_ADD_LIQUIDITY halts all buying and all new liquidity on the launch pool for as long as it stays attached; (2) a TreasurySink(hook, recipient, 0) with a 375 bps slice sends 3.75% of every buy and sell to recipient, chosen freely by the council owner; (3) setCouncil(address) hands both powers to any address, or freezes them at address(0).

      These match the workflow's stated model ('guards may revert buys', 'total fee at most 5%'); the launch facts should state them as such for buyers.

      State: launch pool live; SwarmlingsCouncil owner = DEV.

      Input: DEV calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(setModules, ([Module(addr = a contract whose onAfterSwap always reverts, callbacks = AFTER_SWAP | BEFORE_ADD_LIQUIDITY (0x0c), guard = true)])), memo).

      Effect: every subsequent buy in the launch pool and every modifyLiquidity with liquidityDelta > 0 reverts with the module's reason; sells and liquidity removals still succeed (mayRevert == false on those paths).

      Second input: DEV deploys TreasurySink(hook, 0xATTACKER, 0) and calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(setSlices, ([Slice(sink, 375, true)])), memo): from the next swap, 3.75% of every swap's reward amount is minted to the sink and forwarded to 0xATTACKER by poke(); holders keep exactly 1.25%.

      Both are intended powers of the council owner, reported as trust assumptions.

  6. Audit judgeAgent #560found 1 high, 1 medium, 4 low, 1 info

    The findings file is written and validated: all seven snippets match the tree line for line, all 52 entry points have a coverage row, and one proof is attached. The review is complete.

    Recap

    Outcome: 7 findings in .imd-findings.json (1 high, 1 medium, 4 low, 1 info), distilled from the 11 specialist reports. Every kept finding was reproduced on this tree, either by running a failing Foundry test or by a stated code trace. Nothing in the repository was changed; only test/scratch/ and the findings file were written.

    What the specialists' 11 reports became

    • High, merged from all four areas: launch.json pairs LING with native ETH, but on chain id 1 the token fixes the reward currency to IMD and the hook copies it. The factory's ETH/LING pool is never bound as the launch pool, so no 1.25% holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, no modules, and distribute() reverts forever. The binding also stays open for anyone to claim later with an IMD/LING pool. All three specialist proofs fail on this tree. The approved workflow and the source agree on IMD, so the consistent fix is restoring the IMD paired currency in the manifest. I attached no proof, since a test cannot read the manifest and would wrongly force a source-side fix.
    • Medium, merged from flow and economics: a seller with a tight gas limit makes _quote skip the council's quoter and completes the sell at the 1.25% floor. The specialist proof fails here with 124 bps paid instead of 499, and is attached.
    • Low, four findings: quoters run on every charged pool, not only the launch pool, against the documented rule. TwapOracle back-dates moves it never observed, from sink buybacks and gas-starved swaps, which merges the math finding with the TWAP half of the flow finding. The JIT penalty is charged on top-ups, against the documented remove-only rule. Council ownership and the hook's council pointer move in one unchecked step. The first and third were reproduced with my own scratch test.
    • Info: the council owner's instant powers, kept as a trust assumption rather than a defect.

    Own pass: fee math on all four swap shapes, the PartialFill check, nested-swap depth tracking, the hook's zero-delta accounting in _collect, _handOver and the sink services, the token's accrual and settlement ordering, and the deployment constraints. Hook and token sizes are within the CREATE2 factory's limits, the manifest's constructor arguments and 14 permissions match the implementation, and the notes are under 4,000 characters. Nothing new surfaced beyond the specialists' leads.

    What's next: the pairing conflict is the one blocking item. It needs a scope decision between restoring IMD in the manifest, which matches the workflow and source, or changing the token's mainnet reward currency and re-approving the workflow for an ETH pairing.

    • highlaunch.json pairs LING with native ETH while the source fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD: the pool the factory creates is never the launch pool and the hook is inert on itlaunch.json:33

      Merged from audit_math, audit_flow, audit_permissions and audit_economics (same root cause, reported four times). The approved workflow says three times that the launch is paired with IMD ("pool IMD / LING at fee 12500, tick spacing 60"), and the source is built for that: Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency (src/Swarmlings.sol:118, `return block.chainid == 1 ?

      IMD : address(0);) makes rewardCurrency IMD on chain id 1 and SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies it into the immutable reward` (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:154-155). The last commit (236eb5f) rewrote pool.pairedCurrency from 0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7 to the zero address.

      The factory therefore initializes PoolKey(ETH, LING, 12500, 60, hook). afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:282-285) binds a launch pool only when one side equals reward and the other is LING, so for an ETH/LING key launchPoolSet stays false.

      Everything downstream is gated on it: _isCharged (line 910) is false so beforeSwap/afterSwap return zero deltas (lines 307, 337), snipeBps() returns 0 (line 254), the JIT guard never runs (lines 407, 444), _isLaunch is false so no module or slice ever runs, distribute() reverts NotLaunched forever (line 655), and every sink/oracle constructor would read an empty launchKey (AutoLiquidity would even divide by tickSpacing 0). beforeInitialize never rejects a pool, so the deployer's simulation succeeds and the pool opens trading with only its 1.25% LP fee; the 1.25% holder fee, the 60-second snipe tax and the JIT guard the launch is built on are permanently absent from the pool the manifest describes.

      The binding also stays open: the first party to call PoolManager.initialize with any IMD/LING key at fee 12500 and this hook afterwards (any tick spacing, any price) becomes launchPool and starts the snipe window at a time of their choosing. This is a concrete policy/source conflict the manifest flags in its own notes but cannot resolve; it is blocking until one side changes.

      The approved workflow and the source agree on IMD, so the fix consistent with the approved requirements is to restore pool.pairedCurrency to "0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7" and correct the notes, provided the launch policy admits an ERC-20 paired currency (the previous manifest's notes cite an IMD opening cap of 2,500 IMD, so it appears to).

      If the policy really requires native ETH, then _chooseRewardCurrency must return address(0) on chain id 1 (and docs/README/minDistribute follow the Native pairing the test suite already covers), and the workflow must be re-approved for an ETH pairing.

      No proof file is attached because a Foundry test cannot read launch.json, and a test that forces the source-side resolution would wrongly block the manifest-side fix; the specialists' three proofs (ETH/LING pool on vm.chainId(1)) were run and all fail on this tree.

      State: block.chainid == 1; deploy Swarmlings() (rewardCurrency() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7); deploy SwarmlingsHook(poolManager, token) at an address with low 14 bits 0x3FFF; PoolManager.initialize(PoolKey(currency0 = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, currency1 = LING, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook), any sqrtPrice), exactly the pool launch.json describes; add full-range liquidity; buy 1 ETH exact-in in the same block (inside the 60 s snipe window).

      Expected (workflow, README, docs): hook.launchPoolSet() == true; hook.totalFees() == 1e18 * (125 + 4000) / 10000 = 412500000000000000 (holder fee plus 40% snipe); hook.distribute() hands fees to the token once >= minDistribute.

      Actual: hook.reward() == IMD; hook.launchPoolSet() == false; hook.snipeBps() == 0; hook.totalFees() == 0 after the buy; hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      Ran the three attached specialist proofs (Proof_21f62f1e5d6c, Proof_7fe617aac920, Proof_ee78a7f3ec76) copied to test/scratch/: all three fail with exactly these observations.

      The same sequence with PoolKey(IMD, LING) or (LING, IMD) binds and charges, as test/SwarmlingsHook.t.sol's ImdFirst/LingFirst pairings show.

    • mediumA trader skips every quoter module's extra fee by sending the swap with a tight gas limit: _quote treats a low gasleft() as a failed quoter and the swap completes at the 1.25% floorsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522

      Merged from audit_flow and audit_economics (same root cause). _quote consults a QUOTE module only when _hasGas() (line 593-595: gasleft() >= 200_000 + 200_000/63 + 30_000 = 233,174); otherwise it logs ModuleFailed and adds nothing, and the swap continues at feeBps(). The caller chooses the transaction gas limit, and a v4 swap plus settlement needs far less than 233k after the quote point, so any seller can make the council's quoter 'fail' and still complete the sell.

      With VolatilityFee attached (a sell surcharge of up to 375 bps when LING trades below its TWAP) the surcharge becomes optional for every seller who sets a gas limit: the holders' quoted share is simply not collected. The same !_hasGas() branch in _runModules (line 586) silently skips BEFORE_SWAP/AFTER_SWAP observers such as TwapOracle (see finding 4).

      Impact starts when the council attaches a quoter (none at launch), which is why this is medium and not high: loss of the quoted extra under specific conditions, bounded by MAX_FEE_BPS. The design rule 'no module can block a sell' is not violated by the fix: reverting a swap that brought too little gas for a subscribed quoter is the hook refusing, not a module, and the same swap succeeds with a normal gas limit.

      Minimal fix: in _quote, when a QUOTE module is subscribed and _hasGas() is false, revert (e.g. error NotEnoughGas()); keep fail-open only for quoters that actually run and fail. Optionally do the same for observers the council marks as required.

      test/scratch/QuoterSkip.t.sol (attached as proof; the specialist's file, run on this tree).

      Native-reward Swarmlings, real v4 PoolManager, hook at an all-flags address, launch pool ETH/LING 12500/60 seeded full range, 61 s after launch; the council (pranked as hook.COUNCIL()) sets one QUOTE module returning 375.

      Alice sells 100,000 LING exact-in through PoolSwapTest.

      With gas 5,000,000 the hook takes 499 bps of the gross output (125 + 375, rounded down).

      Stepping the gas limit from 150,000 in 2,000 steps, the first sell that succeeds is at 188,000 gas and pays 124 bps: ModuleFailed(quoter, quoteFee) is emitted and the seller keeps the 375 bps owed to holders.

      Expected: every sell that completes pays the quoted extra, or does not complete.

      Observed output: 'first successful gas limit: 188000', 'bps paid: 124', test fails with '124 != 499'.

    • lowQuoter modules price swaps on every charged LING/reward pool, not only the launch pool, contradicting the documented 'modules run on the launch pool only'src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:517

      From audit_math; reproduced. beforeSwap calls _quote for every pool that passes _isCharged (line 307-317), and _quote runs every QUOTE module whenever depth == 0, without the _isLaunch(key) gate that beforeSwap (line 318), afterSwap (line 364) and the liquidity/donate callbacks apply to _runModules. docs/HIVE.md:39 states 'Every LING / reward pool with the hook pays the holder fee; modules run on the launch pool only'.

      On any secondary LING/reward pool with this hook (any fee tier) a quoter's extra is added to that pool's swap, and the quoter is handed that pool's key and params while VolatilityFee reads the launch pool's slot0 and TWAP, so the surcharge on the secondary pool is computed from another pool's price. Bounded by MAX_FEE_BPS and paid to holders, so a broken documented guarantee rather than a loss; no modules are attached at launch.

      Fix: if (n != 0 && depth == 0 && _isLaunch(key)) (pass the key into _quote), or update the docs if charging quoters on every charged pool is intended.

      test/scratch/Lows.t.sol::test_quoterRunsOnSecondaryPool on test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol (native pairing).

      Council attaches one module {addr: FlatQuoter returning 300, callbacks: Callbacks.QUOTE, guard: false}.

      Anyone initializes PoolKey(address(0), LING, fee 3000, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook) and adds full-range liquidity.

      Alice buys 0.1 ETH exact-in on that pool.

      Expected per docs: hook.totalFees() rises by 0.1e18 * 125 / 10000 = 1250000000000000.

      Actual: rises by 4250000000000000 (bps 425).

      Test output: 'fee on secondary pool: 4250000000000000', assertion '4250000000000000 != 1250000000000000'.

    • lowTwapOracle back-dates any price move it did not observe (sink buybacks, gas-starved swaps) over the whole interval since the last observationsrc/modules/TwapOracle.sol:104

      Merged from audit_math (sink buys) and the TwapOracle part of audit_flow's gas finding (same root cause). The oracle assumes every tick change is preceded by an observation (v3 semantics): _record writes the live tick as the tick that held since the previous observation, and _cumulativeAt weights the time after the last observation with the live tick.

      Two paths move the price without an observation: (1) SwarmlingsHook.buy swaps as the PoolManager's caller, and v4 skips a hook's own callbacks for its own swaps, so BuybackBurn.poke / AutoLiquidity.poke (callable by anyone, moving the price up to the sink's ~1% band per block) never record; (2) a swap sent with less than 233,174 gas at the hook makes _runModules skip the BEFORE_SWAP observer (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:586).

      After either, a call to the public record() or any later swap writes the moved tick as having held since the last observation, so in a quiet market one block rewrites the whole window mean. VolatilityFee reads consult(window): a seller who would owe a drop surcharge can first poke a due sink or do a tiny under-gassed swap and then record(), shrinking or zeroing the surcharge.

      Impact bounded by the sink band / what the trader can move, and the direct quoter skip (finding 2) already dominates for sellers, so low.

      Fix: record the tick that actually held, e.g. keep the post-swap tick from an AFTER_SWAP callback as the next observation's tick instead of reading live slot0, and have the hook's _buy path notify observers (or write an observation) before it swaps.

      Traced against the code: BuybackBurn.poke -> hook.buy -> _run -> _dispatch -> _buy -> poolManager.swap(_launchKey, ...) with msg.sender == hook; v4's Hooks library returns early from beforeSwap/afterSwap when msg.sender == the hook, so TwapOracle.onBeforeSwap is not called and no observation is written.

      Then TwapOracle._cumulativeAt(now) = last.tickCumulative + liveTick * (now - last.ts), i.e. the new tick is applied to the entire interval. audit_math's probe: native pairing; modules: TwapOracle on BEFORE_SWAP; slices: BuybackBurn (minBudget 1) at 375 bps, poke false.

      Alice buys 5 ETH, next block sells everything, next block record(): lastTick = -177100.

      Skip 1 hour and 300 blocks: consult(3600) == -177100.

      Anyone calls BuybackBurn.poke(): no observation, lastTick = -176999, and consult(3600) in the same block returns -176999.

      Expected: a move that just happened carries ~zero weight in a one-hour mean (as a normal swap's pre-swap observation guarantees); actual: the mean moved by the full 101 ticks at once.

    • lowJIT penalty is also charged when liquidity is added to a young position (afterAddLiquidity), so an LP topping up within 10 blocks forfeits reward fees without removing anything, contrary to the documesrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:409

      From audit_permissions; reproduced. docs/HIVE.md:40 states 'Liquidity removed within 10 blocks of its addition forfeits part of its reward fees to holders'. afterAddLiquidity calls _jitPenalty before refreshing lastAdded (lines 407-410); because v4 pays a position's accrued fees out on every modifyLiquidity, an honest LP who grows a position within JIT_BLOCKS loses (10 - blocksSinceAdd)/10 of the reward-currency fees earned since the last add, and the clock restarts at the top-up, so a position topped up every few blocks never collects a reward fee free of penalty.

      The comment at line 408 shows the add-side charge is deliberate (a dust top-up must not collect fees ahead of a fast removal), but the documented rule and the behaviour differ, and the behaviour penalises non-JIT LPs. Bounded to reward-currency fees, no principal, so low. Fix options that keep the intent: document the add-side charge, or carry the forfeit forward (record fees collected at a young top-up against the position key and settle them only in afterRemoveLiquidity).

      test/scratch/Lows.t.sol::test_jitPenaltyOnTopUp on test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol (native pairing).

      Block B: alice adds 1e18 liquidity full range under salt 7 via PoolModifyLiquidityTest.

      Same block: bob buys 1 ETH exact-in.

      Block B+1: alice adds another 1e18 liquidity to the same position, removing nothing.

      Expected per docs: hook.totalFees() unchanged by an addition.

      Actual: hook.totalFees() rises by 157928676409 wei on alice's add (9/10 of her accrued reward fees) and JitPenalty(router, 157928676409) is emitted; her lastAdded becomes B+1.

      Test output: 'penalty on add: 157928676409', assertion '157928676409 != 0'.

    • lowCouncil ownership and the hook's council pointer move in one unchecked step: setOwner(address(0)) or a mistyped address permanently freezes slice and module governancesrc/SwarmlingsCouncil.sol:51

      From audit_permissions; reproduced. SwarmlingsCouncil.setOwner (lines 50-53) and SwarmlingsHook.setCouncil (line 897, council = newCouncil;) assign the new privileged address immediately with no acceptance step and no zero-address check; the council constructor (line 20) accepts address(0) too.

      The hook names the council by constant and its only governance path is onlyCouncil, so after setOwner(address(0)) or setOwner() no one can ever call setSlices, setModules, disableModule or setCouncil again, and a mistaken freeze cannot be told apart from the intentional setCouncil(address(0)). If a buy-blocking guard or a quoter is attached at that moment it becomes permanent.

      Owner-only trigger, so a trust assumption / footgun rather than a bypass; the prior audit (docs/audit/2026-10-10, C-4) reported it and the code is unchanged.

      Note the council is already deployed on mainnet at the constant COUNCIL, so the council's own code cannot change for this launch without changing the hook's constant; the hook-side part (pendingCouncil/acceptCouncil plus an explicit freeze()) can still be adopted, and the council owner should treat setOwner as irreversible.

      Deploy SwarmlingsCouncil(dev).

      As dev: council.setOwner(address(0)) succeeds and emits OwnerSet(0).

      Afterwards every council.execute(...), post(...) and setOwner(...) from any address, dev included, reverts OnlyOwner(); hook.council() still equals the council, so hook.setSlices / setModules / disableModule / setCouncil revert OnlyCouncil() for every caller.

      Expected: a hand-over the new owner must accept, with address(0) refused unless an explicit freeze is requested.

    • infoTrust assumption: the council owner can, at once and without a vote, attach a guard that halts all buys and liquidity additions, route 3.75% of all swap volume to any address, and hand or freeze goversrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:574

      From audit_economics; documented power, reported so it can be weighed, not a defect. _runModules forwards a guard's revert whenever mayRevert is true (buys, liquidity additions, donations). setModules and setSlices are onlyCouncil, and SwarmlingsCouncil.execute lets its single owner (DEV, 0x92cEf4823119f3332A85A39023eEbA01a06890c4) run any call immediately.

      Hard limits hold regardless: sells and removals cannot be blocked (mayRevert false; gas-capped calls), total fee <= 5% (setSlices caps slices at 375 bps, _quote clamps at MAX_FEE_BPS), the holders' 1.25% floor cannot be redirected (holders = fee - toSinks), and the snipe tax is outside the council's reach.

      Residual powers: a guard on AFTER_SWAP | BEFORE_ADD_LIQUIDITY that always reverts halts buying and new liquidity while attached; a TreasurySink(hook, recipient, 0) with a 375 bps slice sends 3.75% of every swap's reward amount to any recipient; setCouncil(address) hands both powers to anyone or freezes them. These match the workflow's stated model and should be stated as such in the launch facts for buyers.

      State: launch pool live; council owner = DEV.

      DEV calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(ISwarmlingsHook.setModules, ([Module(addr = contract whose onAfterSwap always reverts, callbacks = AFTER_SWAP | BEFORE_ADD_LIQUIDITY (0x0c), guard = true)])), memo): every later buy on the launch pool and every modifyLiquidity with liquidityDelta > 0 reverts with the module's reason; sells and removals still succeed.

      DEV deploys TreasurySink(hook, X, 0) and calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(setSlices, ([Slice(sink, 375, true)])), memo): from the next swap 3.75% of every swap's reward amount is minted to the sink and forwarded to X by poke(); holders keep exactly 1.25%.

  7. ManifestAgent #4351 file changedsent back

    The responses file is in place and valid, and git deliberately excludes it along with the scratch directory. The only tracked change is the manifest's notes.

    Outcome: finding disputed, manifest kept on native ETH with sharpened notes.

    The finding's observation is real and I reproduced it in a scratch test. On chain id 1 the token picks IMD as its reward currency, the hook copies that into its immutable reward, and the ETH/LING pool the manifest describes never becomes the launch pool. The holder fee, snipe tax, JIT guard and modules are all absent, and distribute reverts. The same key with IMD in place of ETH binds, and on any other chain id the ETH/LING key binds.

    The fix the reviewer proposed does not apply. Restoring IMD as the paired currency was conditioned on the launch policy admitting an ERC-20 pairing. This launch's policy fixes the paired currency to native ETH and admission refuses any other value, so an IMD manifest would park the launch instead of sending the source back. The conflict is between the approved workflow, which says paired with IMD, and the launch policy, which says native ETH. A manifest can only describe the accepted tree, not change the source or the policy.

    What I changed:

    • launch.json notes now say first that the policy refuses an ERC-20 pairing, name the exact source fix in Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency, record the open-binding risk the finding adds, and state the launch must not deploy until the source or the workflow changes. Notes are 3707 characters.
    • .imd-responses.json answers the finding as disputed with the reproduction and the reasoning above.
    • Pool, hook, token and permissions fields are unchanged. No other tracked file is touched.

    Verification: forge build succeeds and the full suite passes with the verifier's fuzz seed.

    CheckResult
    forge test, non-fork suites232 passed, 0 failed
    Scratch reproduction tests3 passed
    Manifest shape and notes capok

    What's next is outside this assignment: a source assignment must make the token choose native ETH on chain id 1, or the workflow must be re-approved for an IMD pairing with a policy that admits it.

  8. Audit judgeAgent #1431found 1 high, 1 medium, 4 low, 1 info

    Findings file is written and validated: all seven snippets match the tree at the cited lines, all 52 entry points have a coverage row, and the working tree has no tracked changes.

    Outcome of this round

    Nothing in the source changed since my last review. The only edit was the notes string in launch.json, so both findings I reported as blocking remain open.

    • High, not fixed. launch.json still pairs LING with native ETH while the token fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD, so the pool the factory creates is never bound as the launch pool. The hook takes no holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, and distribute() reverts NotLaunched forever. The author confirms the observation and disputes only the fix location, saying the launch policy refuses an ERC-20 pair. I cannot check that policy from the tree, and the approved workflow says "paired with IMD" three times. Either way the tree cannot launch correctly, which the author's own notes also state. I re-ran all three specialist proofs and the author's described reproduction: all still fail. I attached a new proof that fails on this tree and passes once the one-line source change the author proposes is applied, which I verified on a copy before restoring the file. I noted that if the launch is instead resolved on the manifest side, the proof should be discarded.
    • Medium, not fixed and not answered. A seller sends the swap with a tight gas limit, the hook treats the low gasleft() as a failed quoter, and the sell completes at the 1.25% floor without the council's quoted surcharge. The attached proof still fails here: first successful sell at 188,000 gas pays 124 bps instead of 499.
    • Four lows and one trust assumption are unchanged and kept as advisory with their original reproductions.

    No new findings. The code was reviewed in full last round and has not changed, so a fresh objection would not be warranted.

    What the author needs to do next. Pick one resolution for the pairing conflict: change Swarmlings so the reward currency is native ETH on chain id 1 and have the workflow re-approved for an ETH pairing, or restore IMD in the manifest if the policy allows it. Separately, make _quote revert when a quoter is subscribed but the swap arrives with too little gas.

    • highNOT FIXED: launch.json still pairs LING with native ETH while the source fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD; the pool the factory creates is never the launch pool and the hook is inert on itlaunch.json:33

      Second round. The only change since the last review is the notes string of launch.json (commit 296fec0); no source file changed, so the defect is exactly as reported. The author's answer confirms the observation and disputes only where the fix belongs: they state the launch policy fixes pool.pairedCurrency to native ETH and admission refuses an ERC-20 pair, so the manifest cannot be restored to IMD.

      That policy is not in the tree and cannot be checked here; the approved workflow (.imd/reads/workflow.md) says three times that the launch is paired with IMD ('pool IMD / LING at fee 12500, tick spacing 60'). Whichever side is right, the tree as it stands cannot launch correctly, and the author's own notes say so ('Until one of these happens this launch must not deploy').

      Mechanism, unchanged: Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency (src/Swarmlings.sol:118, `return block.chainid == 1 ?

      IMD : address(0);) makes rewardCurrency IMD on chain id 1; SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies it into the immutable reward`; afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:283-285) binds a launch pool only when one side == reward and the other == ling, so for the ETH/LING key the manifest describes launchPoolSet stays false. _isCharged (line 910) is then false: beforeSwap/afterSwap take nothing, snipeBps() returns 0 (line 254), the JIT guard never runs, no module or slice ever runs, distribute() reverts NotLaunched (line 655), and every sink/oracle constructor would read an empty launchKey. beforeInitialize never rejects, so the deployer's simulation succeeds and the pool opens with only its 1.25% LP fee.

      The binding also stays open: the first IMD/LING pool at fee 12500 that anyone later initializes with this hook becomes launchPool at a time, tick spacing and price of their choosing.

      Resolution needs a decision outside the manifest, and the author has now named the path they consider open: (a) source side, as the author's notes propose: _chooseRewardCurrency returns address(0) on chain id 1 (minDistribute, README and docs then follow the Native pairing the suite already covers) and the workflow is re-approved for an ETH pairing; or (b) manifest side, if the policy does admit an ERC-20 pair: pool.pairedCurrency = 0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7, matching the workflow and the source.

      The attached proof models the manifest's pool on chain id 1 and passes under (a); it was checked to pass with that one-line source change applied to a copy. If the launch is resolved by (b), the proof's premise disappears and it should be discarded, as the manifest, not the source, will have changed. Blocking until one of the two happens.

      Merged from audit_math, audit_flow, audit_permissions and audit_economics (same root cause, reported four times); all four attached specialist proofs were re-run on this tree and still fail.

      State: block.chainid == 1 (vm.chainId(1)); deploy Swarmlings() (rewardCurrency() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7); deploy SwarmlingsHook(poolManager, token) at an address with low 14 bits 0x3FFF; PoolManager.initialize(PoolKey(currency0 = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, currency1 = LING, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook), sqrtPrice at tick 177180), exactly the pool launch.json describes; add full-range liquidity (1e21) with 11 ETH; bob buys 1 ETH exact-in in the same block (inside the 60 s snipe window).

      Expected (workflow, README, docs): hook.launchPoolSet() == true; hook.reward() == pairedCurrency; hook.totalFees() == 1e18 * (125 + 4000) / 10000 = 412500000000000000.

      Actual on this tree: hook.reward() == IMD; hook.launchPoolSet() == false; hook.snipeBps() == 0; hook.totalFees() == 0; hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/ManifestPoolMainnet.t.sol -vv (fails: 'the pool launch.json describes must be bound as the launch pool').

      With src/Swarmlings.sol:118 changed to return address(0); the same test passes with totalFees 412500000000000000 and snipeBps 4000 (checked on a copy; the tree is unchanged).

      The specialist proofs Proof_21f62f1e5d6c, Proof_7fe617aac920 and Proof_ee78a7f3ec76 fail the same way on this tree, as does the author's described Repro.

    • mediumNOT FIXED (no answer given): a trader skips every quoter module's extra fee by sending the swap with a tight gas limit; _quote treats a low gasleft() as a failed quoter and the swap completes at the 1src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522

      Second round. The source did not change and the author gave no answer to this finding, so it stands as reported. Merged from audit_flow and audit_economics (same root cause). _quote consults a QUOTE module only when _hasGas() (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:593-595: gasleft() >= 200_000 + 200_000/63 + 30_000 = 233,174); otherwise it logs ModuleFailed and adds nothing, and the swap continues at feeBps().

      The same !_hasGas() branch in _runModules (line 586) silently skips BEFORE_SWAP/AFTER_SWAP observers such as TwapOracle.

Optionally do the same for observers the council marks as required.

      test/scratch/Proof_ce1e149cc802.t.sol (the attached proof, re-run on this tree).

      Observed output on this tree: 'first successful gas limit: 188000', 'bps paid: 124', test fails with '124 != 499'.

    • lowUnchanged: quoter modules price swaps on every charged LING/reward pool, not only the launch pool, contradicting the documented 'modules run on the launch pool only'src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:517

      Advisory, code unchanged since the last round. beforeSwap calls _quote for every pool that passes _isCharged (lines 307-317), and _quote runs every QUOTE module whenever depth == 0, without the _isLaunch(key) gate that beforeSwap (line 318), afterSwap (line 364) and the liquidity/donate callbacks apply to _runModules. docs/HIVE.md:39 states 'Every LING / reward pool with the hook pays the holder fee; modules run on the launch pool only'.

      On any secondary LING/reward pool with this hook a quoter's extra is added to that pool's swap, and the quoter is handed that pool's key and params while VolatilityFee reads the launch pool's slot0 and TWAP, so the surcharge on the secondary pool is computed from another pool's price. Bounded by MAX_FEE_BPS and paid to holders; no modules are attached at launch.

      Fix: if (n != 0 && depth == 0 && _isLaunch(key)) (pass the key into _quote), or update the docs.

      Native pairing (test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol).

      Council attaches one module {addr: FlatQuoter returning 300, callbacks: Callbacks.QUOTE, guard: false}.

      Anyone initializes PoolKey(address(0), LING, fee 3000, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook) and adds full-range liquidity.

      Alice buys 0.1 ETH exact-in on that pool.

      Expected per docs: hook.totalFees() rises by 0.1e18 * 125 / 10000 = 1250000000000000.

      Actual: rises by 4250000000000000 (bps 425).

    • lowUnchanged: TwapOracle back-dates any price move it did not observe (sink buybacks, gas-starved swaps) over the whole interval since the last observationsrc/modules/TwapOracle.sol:104

      Advisory, code unchanged since the last round. The oracle assumes every tick change is preceded by an observation: _record writes the live tick as the tick that held since the previous observation, and _cumulativeAt weights the time after the last observation with the live tick.

      Two paths move the price without an observation: (1) SwarmlingsHook.buy swaps as the PoolManager's caller and v4 skips a hook's own callbacks for its own swaps, so BuybackBurn.poke / AutoLiquidity.poke (callable by anyone) never record; (2) a swap sent with less than 233,174 gas at the hook makes _runModules skip the BEFORE_SWAP observer (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:586).

      After either, record() or any later swap writes the moved tick as having held since the last observation, so in a quiet market one block rewrites the whole window mean. VolatilityFee reads consult(window): a seller who would owe a drop surcharge can first poke a due sink or do a tiny under-gassed swap and then record(), shrinking the surcharge. Bounded by the sink band / what the trader can move; finding 2 dominates for sellers.

      Fix: record the tick that actually held (keep the post-swap tick from an AFTER_SWAP callback as the next observation's tick) and have the hook's _buy path write an observation before it swaps.

      Native pairing; modules: TwapOracle on BEFORE_SWAP; slices: BuybackBurn (minBudget 1) at 375 bps, poke false.

      Alice buys 5 ETH, next block sells everything, next block record(): lastTick = -177100.

      Skip 1 hour and 300 blocks: consult(3600) == -177100.

      Anyone calls BuybackBurn.poke(): no observation is written (hook.buy -> poolManager.swap with msg.sender == hook, Hooks library skips the callbacks), lastTick = -176999, and consult(3600) in the same block returns -176999.

      Expected: a move that just happened carries ~zero weight in a one-hour mean; actual: the mean moved by the full 101 ticks at once.

    • lowUnchanged: JIT penalty is also charged when liquidity is added to a young position (afterAddLiquidity), so an LP topping up within 10 blocks forfeits reward fees without removing anythingsrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:409

      Advisory, code unchanged since the last round. docs/HIVE.md:40 states 'Liquidity removed within 10 blocks of its addition forfeits part of its reward fees to holders'. afterAddLiquidity calls _jitPenalty before refreshing lastAdded (lines 407-410); because v4 pays a position's accrued fees out on every modifyLiquidity, an honest LP who grows a position within JIT_BLOCKS loses (10 - blocksSinceAdd)/10 of the reward-currency fees earned since the last add, and the clock restarts at the top-up, so a position topped up every few blocks never collects a reward fee free of penalty.

      The comment at line 408 shows the add-side charge is deliberate, but the documented rule and the behaviour differ. Bounded to reward-currency fees, no principal. Fix options that keep the intent: document the add-side charge, or carry the forfeit forward and settle it only in afterRemoveLiquidity.

      Native pairing (test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol).

      Block B: alice adds 1e18 liquidity full range under salt 7 via PoolModifyLiquidityTest.

      Same block: bob buys 1 ETH exact-in.

      Block B+1: alice adds another 1e18 liquidity to the same position, removing nothing.

      Expected per docs: hook.totalFees() unchanged by an addition.

      Actual: hook.totalFees() rises by 157928676409 wei on alice's add (9/10 of her accrued reward fees), JitPenalty(router, 157928676409) is emitted, and her lastAdded becomes B+1.

    • lowUnchanged: council ownership and the hook's council pointer move in one unchecked step; setOwner(address(0)) or a mistyped address permanently freezes slice and module governancesrc/SwarmlingsCouncil.sol:51

      Advisory, code unchanged since the last round. SwarmlingsCouncil.setOwner (lines 50-53) and SwarmlingsHook.setCouncil (line 897, council = newCouncil;) assign the new privileged address immediately with no acceptance step and no zero-address check; the council constructor accepts address(0) too.

      Owner-only trigger, so a trust assumption / footgun rather than a bypass; the prior audit (docs/audit/2026-10-10, C-4) reported it. The council is already deployed on mainnet at the constant COUNCIL, so its code cannot change for this launch; the hook-side part (pendingCouncil/acceptCouncil plus an explicit freeze()) can still be adopted, and the council owner should treat setOwner as irreversible.

    • infoTrust assumption (unchanged): the council owner can, at once and without a vote, attach a guard that halts all buys and liquidity additions, route 3.75% of all swap volume to any address, and hand or src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:574

      Documented power, reported so it can be weighed, not a defect.

  9. ManifestAgent #1875no change

    The finding reproduces, but the fix it needs is outside this assignment's scope, so launch.json is unchanged and the finding is answered as disputed in .imd-responses.json.

    What I verified

    • The reviewer's proof fails on this tree exactly as reported. On chain id 1 the token fixes its reward currency to IMD, so the hook never binds the ETH / LING pool the manifest describes, and the swap pays no hook fee.
    • The manifest still matches the accepted source: constructor (manager, token) written as $poolManager and $token, all 14 flags as getHookPermissions declares, pairedCurrency zero address, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60. Notes are 3707 characters, under the cap.
    • Build passes and the full suite passes with the verifier's fuzz seed.

    forge test, 233 testsall pass

    Why disputed rather than fixed

    • The proof asserts a source change in Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency. This assignment may write only launch.json, and a submission touching src/ is rejected automatically.
    • The reviewer's alternative, writing IMD as pairedCurrency, is refused by the brief. It states the pair is native ETH, admission refuses any other, and the pair is not an open question.
    • The notes already open with this conflict and name the one-line source fix, which is what the brief asks a manifest to do when the accepted hook cannot launch on the listed pool.

    Next step for the network The finding belongs to the source-producing assignment: change the reward currency to native ETH on chain id 1, then re-approve the workflow for the ETH pairing. The reviewer's own text agrees the resolution lies outside the manifest. Until that happens this launch must not deploy, and the manifest says so first in its notes.

  10. Audit judgeAgent #1465found 1 high, 1 medium, 4 low, 1 info

    judge findings unresolved after 2 revisions: no revision budget left for manifest (2 revisions, 2 from the judge) — NOT FIXED (tree unchanged): launch.json pairs LING with native ETH while the source fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD; the pool the factory creates is never bound as the launch pool and the hoo

    The review is settled and written to .imd-findings.json. Nothing else is pending: the file holds seven findings and a 52-row coverage record, the scratch copies are removed, and only the findings file is new in the tree.

    Outcome: neither blocking finding is fixed, because nothing changed. The tree I was given is byte-identical to last round's (HEAD 296fec0, clean working tree). No source file and no manifest field moved, so both attached proofs were re-run and still fail for the stated reasons.

    • High, not fixed (finding 1): launch.json pairs LING with native ETH while the source fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD. On chain id 1 the ETH/LING pool the factory creates is never bound as the launch pool, so no holder fee, no snipe tax, no JIT guard, no modules, and distribute() reverts forever. The author confirmed the reproduction and disputed only where the fix belongs. I addressed that directly: if the policy truly admits only native ETH, the only open path is the one-line source change in Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency plus a workflow re-approval, which the source assignment must make. The finding stays blocking until one side changes. Proof re-run output: reward is IMD, launchPoolSet false, totalFees 0, snipeBps 0.
    • Medium, not fixed (finding 2): a seller skips any council quoter's surcharge by sending the swap with a tight gas limit. The author gave no answer again. Proof re-run output: first successful sell at 188,000 gas pays 124 bps instead of 499.

    Advisories carried forward unchanged, each with its reproduction restated: quoters run on every charged pool rather than the launch pool only, TwapOracle back-dates unobserved moves, the JIT penalty fires on top-ups, the council hand-over is one-step with no zero check, and the council owner's documented powers as a trust assumption.

    Coverage: all 52 entry points answered, 38 holds and 14 tied to a finding, none unreached. Every cited path, line and snippet was checked against the tree before writing.

    • highNOT FIXED (tree unchanged): launch.json pairs LING with native ETH while the source fixes the mainnet reward currency to IMD; the pool the factory creates is never bound as the launch pool and the hoolaunch.json:33

      Third round. The working tree is byte-identical to the one reviewed last round (HEAD 296fec0, clean status): no source file and no manifest field changed, so the defect is exactly as reported and the attached proof still fails.

      The author's answer confirms the reproduction ('It fails as reported') and disputes only where the fix belongs: the manifest assignment's write scope is launch.json, and they state the launch policy fixes pool.pairedCurrency to native ETH and admission refuses an ERC-20 pair, so pairedCurrency cannot be restored to IMD.

      That policy is not in the tree and cannot be checked here; the approved workflow (.imd/reads/workflow.md) says the launch is paired with IMD ('pool IMD / LING at fee 12500, tick spacing 60'). Whichever side is right, the tree as it stands cannot launch correctly, and the manifest's own notes say so ('Until one of these happens this launch must not deploy').

      This finding therefore stays open and blocking until a change resolves the conflict; it is not a demand on the manifest assignment alone but on the launch: if the policy really admits only native ETH, the only open path is the source-side one-line change in Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency plus a workflow re-approval for the ETH pairing, which the source-producing assignment must make.

      Mechanism, unchanged: Swarmlings._chooseRewardCurrency (src/Swarmlings.sol:118, `return block.chainid == 1 ?

      IMD : address(0);) makes rewardCurrency IMD on chain id 1; SwarmlingsHook's constructor copies it into the immutable reward; afterInitialize (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:283-285, bool r0 = key.currency0 == reward && Currency.unwrap(key.currency1) == ling;) binds a launch pool only when one side == reward and the other == ling, so for the ETH/LING key the manifest describes launchPoolSet stays false. _isCharged (line 910, if (!launchPoolSet) return false;`) is then false: beforeSwap/afterSwap return at line 307 and take nothing, snipeBps() returns 0 (line 254), the JIT guard never runs, no module or slice ever runs, distribute() reverts NotLaunched (line 655), and every sink/oracle constructor would read an empty launchKey. beforeInitialize never rejects, so the deployer's simulation succeeds and the pool opens with only its 1.25% LP fee: the 1.25% holder fee and 60-second snipe tax the launch is built on are permanently absent from the launched pool.

      The binding also stays open: the first IMD/LING pool at fee 12500 that anyone later initializes with this hook becomes launchPool at a time, tick spacing and price of their choosing.

      Resolution (a) source side: _chooseRewardCurrency returns address(0) on chain id 1 (minDistribute, README and docs then follow the Native pairing the suite already covers) and the workflow is re-approved for an ETH pairing; the attached proof passes under (a) (checked last round on a copy with that one-line change).

      Resolution (b) manifest side, only if the policy does admit an ERC-20 pair: pool.pairedCurrency = 0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7; under (b) the proof's premise disappears and it should be discarded. Merged from audit_math, audit_flow, audit_permissions and audit_economics (same root cause); their proofs Proof_21f62f1e5d6c, Proof_7fe617aac920 and Proof_ee78a7f3ec76 fail the same way on this tree.

      State: block.chainid == 1 (vm.chainId(1)); deploy Swarmlings() (rewardCurrency() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7); deploy SwarmlingsHook(poolManager, token) at an address with low 14 bits 0x3FFF; PoolManager.initialize(PoolKey(currency0 = 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000, currency1 = LING, fee 12500, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook), sqrtPrice at tick 177180), exactly the pool launch.json describes; add full-range liquidity (1e21) with 11 ETH; bob buys 1 ETH exact-in in the same block (inside the 60 s snipe window).

      Expected (workflow, README, docs): hook.launchPoolSet() == true; hook.reward() == pairedCurrency; hook.totalFees() == 1e18 * (125 + 4000) / 10000 = 412500000000000000.

      Actual on this tree (re-run this round): hook.reward() == 0xD34a99Bc0f67aE1bbd63C660e6d0b0dd03E263B7; hook.launchPoolSet() == false; hook.snipeBps() == 0; hook.totalFees() == 0; hook.distribute() reverts NotLaunched().

      Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_cd932503857b.t.sol -vv (fails: 'the pool launch.json describes must be bound as the launch pool').

      With src/Swarmlings.sol:118 changed to return address(0); the same test passes with totalFees 412500000000000000 and snipeBps 4000.

    • mediumNOT FIXED (tree unchanged, no answer given): a trader skips every quoter module's extra fee by sending the swap with a tight gas limit; _quote treats a low gasleft() as a failed quoter and the swap cosrc/SwarmlingsHook.sol:522

      Third round. The source did not change and the author again gave no answer to this finding, so it stands as reported; the attached proof was re-run on this tree and fails the same way.

      Merged from audit_flow and audit_economics (same root cause). _quote consults a QUOTE module only when _hasGas() (src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:594, return gasleft() >= MODULE_GAS + MODULE_GAS / 63 + 30_000; = 233,174); otherwise it logs ModuleFailed and adds nothing, and the swap continues at feeBps().

      The same !_hasGas() branch in _runModules (line 586) silently skips BEFORE_SWAP/AFTER_SWAP observers such as TwapOracle.

Optionally do the same for observers the council marks as required.

      test/scratch/Proof_842786d6850f.t.sol (the attached proof, re-run on this tree).

      Observed output on this tree this round: 'first successful gas limit: 188000', 'bps paid: 124', test fails with '124 != 499'.

    • lowUnchanged: quoter modules price swaps on every charged LING/reward pool, not only the launch pool, contradicting the documented 'modules run on the launch pool only'src/SwarmlingsHook.sol:517

      Advisory, code unchanged since the last two rounds. beforeSwap calls _quote for every pool that passes _isCharged (line 307 if (!_isCharged(key)) {, line 317 uint256 bps = _quote(buy, depth);), and _quote runs every QUOTE module whenever depth == 0, without the _isLaunch(key) gate that beforeSwap (line 318), afterSwap (line 364) and the liquidity/donate callbacks apply to _runModules. docs/HIVE.md:39 states 'Every LING / reward pool with the hook pays the holder fee; modules run on the launch pool only'.

Merged from audit_math.

      Native pairing (test/utils/SwarmlingsBase.sol).

      Council attaches one module {addr: FlatQuoter returning 300, callbacks: Callbacks.QUOTE, guard: false}.

      Anyone initializes PoolKey(address(0), LING, fee 3000, tickSpacing 60, hooks = hook) and adds full-range liquidity.

      Alice buys 0.1 ETH exact-in on that pool.

      Expected per docs: hook.totalFees() rises by 0.1e18 * 125 / 10000 = 1250000000000000.

      Actual: rises by 4250000000000000 (FeeCollected bps 425).

    • lowUnchanged: TwapOracle back-dates any price move it did not observe (sink buybacks, gas-starved swaps) over the whole interval since the last observationsrc/modules/TwapOracle.sol:104

      Advisory, code unchanged.

Merged from audit_math.

      Native pairing; modules: TwapOracle on BEFORE_SWAP; slices: BuybackBurn (minBudget 1) at 375 bps, poke false.

      Alice buys 5 ETH, next block sells everything, next block record(): lastTick = -177100.

      Skip 1 hour and 300 blocks: consult(3600) == -177100.

      Advisory, code unchanged. docs/HIVE.md:40 states 'Liquidity removed within 10 blocks of its addition forfeits part of its reward fees to holders'. afterAddLiquidity calls _jitPenalty before refreshing lastAdded (lines 407-410); because v4 pays a position's accrued fees out on every modifyLiquidity, an honest LP who grows a position within JIT_BLOCKS loses (10 - blocksSinceAdd)/10 of the reward-currency fees earned since the last add, and the clock restarts at the top-up (line 410 lastAdded[_positionKey(key, sender, params)] = uint64(block.number);), so a position topped up every few blocks never collects a reward fee free of penalty.

      Merged from audit_permissions.

      Advisory, code unchanged. SwarmlingsCouncil.setOwner (lines 50-53) and SwarmlingsHook.setCouncil (line 897, council = newCouncil;) assign the new privileged address immediately with no acceptance step and no zero-address check; the council constructor accepts address(0) too.

Merged from audit_permissions.

Merged from audit_economics.

      State: launch pool live; council owner = DEV.

      DEV calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(ISwarmlingsHook.setModules, ([Module(addr = contract whose onAfterSwap always reverts, callbacks = AFTER_SWAP | BEFORE_ADD_LIQUIDITY (0x0c), guard = true)])), memo): every later buy on the launch pool and every modifyLiquidity with liquidityDelta > 0 reverts with the module's reason; sells and removals still succeed.

      DEV deploys TreasurySink(hook, X, 0) and calls council.execute(hook, abi.encodeCall(setSlices, ([Slice(sink, 375, true)])), memo): from the next swap 3.75% of every swap's reward amount is minted to the sink and forwarded to X by poke(); holders keep exactly 1.25%.
