  1. Verify every 1f9510eb fix: odds never move upward and a request with no small-tier weight is Genesis-only or NothingToDraw before VRF is paid; V3Depth walk of up to 8 initialized crossings with min(L, L +/- liquidityNet), exact-price boundaries and both slot0 representations; 1 ETH unscaled in-band WETH floor and payout cap min(5% equivalent depth, released WETH); bindCheck/bindGacha check POL mintEscrow and poolManager; CheckLaunch funding (>=), VRF wrapper, Curator, startTime and spinPrice checks.
  2. Hardest: the new V3Depth walk. Can a crafted tick layout (many dust ticks, liquidityNet sign tricks, ticks exactly at the band edge, word boundaries, negative ticks) inflate depth or the cap, make a deep pool unpriceable, or make the read run out of gas? Same for the Genesis depth path.
  3. Odds and settlement after the change: any way to concentrate odds on own Bags, drain the reserve, or leave a liability or VRF fee stranded when the regular lane is cleared.
  4. New issues from the changes: rounding, stuck funds, reentrancy through the hook, VRF/cancel races, bindGacha lock-out against the deployed GoblinNFT (launch-1616).

  • 1.highTier-top inventory has positive expectation against the reserve: a depositor who also spins drains itsrc/BagGacha.sol:836

                    uint256 pay = (a.value * DEPOSITOR_BPS) / BPS;

A kept regular win credits the depositor 95% of the Bag's snapshot value out of the reserve (_settle, line 836), while a regular spin adds only 88% of P = 0.0088 ETH to the reserve (_splitRegular).

    With the base odds [7500,1800,650,50] and tier ranges [0.3P,0.7P), [0.7P,2P), [2P,6P), [6P,70P] (tierOf), inventory parked just under every tier top (0.00699, 0.01999, 0.05999 and 0.7 ETH; all admissible when reserve >= 14 ETH so the jackpot is on and 0.7 ETH <= 5% of reserve) has expected keep payout 0.95 * (0.750.699 + 0.181.999 + 0.0655.999 + 0.00570) * P = 1.54P, 1.76x the reserve's take.

Even a uniform inventory (tier means 0.5P, 1.35P, 4P, 38P) gives 0.95 * 1.07P > 0.88P. The 1f9510eb odds floor is satisfied because the attacker supplies the tier-0 Bag, and the 1/sqrt(v) within-tier weighting is neutral when every Bag of a tier has the same value.

A depositor who is also the spinner receives the tokens back (bagWinner = spinner) plus 95% of their value in ETH, so every self-spin nets about +0.0045 ETH after the VRF fee and the reserve loses about 0.0067 ETH; nobody else has to play, and other players' spins pay the same depositor the same expectation.

With the Genesis lane live (60% of paid spins, 30% of P to the reserve, nothing paid on keep) the per-spin reserve loss falls to roughly 0.085P, but the vault quote is 0 whenever the emission is ahead of schedule, and the attacker spins exactly then. Holding the 32 active slots (see the low finding) keeps other depositors' cheaper Bags from diluting the tiers.

Because reserve gates every new request (>= 2P and >= the earmark) the drain ends in a halted gacha once tier-1 Bags no longer fit 5% of reserve.

Fix: this is an economic-parameter decision for the requester, the mechanism works as designed. Bound the keep payout so that sum_t(odds_t * tierMax_t) * DEPOSITOR_BPS <= P * 8800 bps: lower the tier tops relative to P (the 70P jackpot term alone, 0.005*70P = 0.35P, is 40% of the take), or pay the depositor min(95% of value, a per-tier ceiling derived from P), or weight tier odds by the actual value distribution of the tier (odds_t * mean value of tier t).

The attached proof only encodes the invariant that the reserve does not shrink against tier-top inventory.

State: reserve 20 ETH, base odds, Genesis lane off (vault quote 0), attacker holds four matured Bags of one 1e-3 ETH token: 6.99, 19.99, 59.99 and 700 tokens (tiers 0..3 at their tops).

    Loop 600 times: spin{value: P + vrfFee}, wrapper fulfils with word keccak('w', i), draw(), choose(alloc, true), claimBag(wonId), seal the same amounts again, warp 24 h.

Expected: reserve >= 20 ETH (house take 88% of P per spin dominates payouts).

Actual: reserve 16.771781 ETH, attacker balance +1.908219 ETH after paying 0.6 ETH of VRF fees.

Run under the launch profile: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_5138f11d06b7.t.sol (fails on this code: 'the reserve loses money to a self-dealing depositor-spinner: 16771781000000000000 < 20000000000000000000').

  • 2.mediumRegular-pool in-band WETH floor and payout cap are measured at the manipulable slot0 spot price: an in-transaction pump makes a thin pool priceable and raises its capsrc/TwapOracle.sol:283

                V3Depth.measure(pool, sqrtPrice, spotTick, liquidity);

_checkPool passes slot0's sqrtPrice and tick straight into V3Depth.measure (line 283). Liquidity is bounded by min(current L, 30-minute harmonic L), but the price is not: the WETH-side virtual reserve is LsqrtP/Q96 when WETH is token1 (LQ96/sqrtP when token0) and the unscaled in-band WETH released by the walk, L*(sqrtP - sqrtP*100/105)/Q96, scales by the same factor.

Pushing the token's spot price up by a factor k multiplies wethSide, releasedWeth and therefore the payout cap by sqrt(k) while both TWAP ticks and the harmonic L are unchanged; the token side shrinks by sqrt(k) but only has to stay above 5 ETH valued at the TWAP. The Genesis path already guards against this (valuation at max(spot, long-window price), 'a spot pump cannot raise depth'); the regular path has no equivalent.

The caller of seal() or spin() controls the transaction: swap spot up, call seal()/spin() so the floor passes and the inflated cap is committed into the snapshot and cappedSplits, swap back; the cost is the round-trip fee and in-pool slippage, atomic so no arbitrage risk.

Effect: fix 4 of audit 1f9510eb (1 ETH unscaled in-band WETH floor, cap <= released WETH) is bypassed for a listed token whose pool has thinned, and a Bag of a token whose pool really releases ~0.71 ETH in band becomes drawable with a 1.30 ETH per-draw cap, the reserve then paying 95%/88% of its TWAP value in ETH.

Fix: evaluate the band at a TWAP-bounded price, e.g. use the less favourable of spot and the short-window sqrt price for the WETH side (min(spot, twap) when WETH is token1, max when WETH is token0), mirroring the Genesis max(spot, long) rule; or revert StalePool when |spotTick - shortTick| exceeds a small bound.

Pool with one canonical wide position [-60000, 60000] of L = 15e18, both TWAP ticks 0, harmonic L = 15e18, spot tick 0: validatePool reverts ThinPool (released WETH in band ~0.714 ETH < MIN_IN_BAND_WETH).

Move only slot0 to tick +12000 (token < WETH; -12000 otherwise), same block, same liquidity and TWAPs: setPool succeeds and payoutCap(token) returns 1.301474386635926793 ETH.

Expected: ThinPool in both states, cap independent of spot.

    Actual: priced, cap 1.30 ETH.

  • 3.mediumOne-wei dust ticks consume the eight-crossing budget: a deep pool fails the new 1 ETH in-band floor and becomes unpriceable, delisting the token in practice and letting a depositor remove competitors'src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78

            for (; crossed < MAX_CROSSINGS && liquidity > 0 && (up ? price < limit : price > limit); ++crossed) {

Every initialized crossing counts toward MAX_CROSSINGS = 8 regardless of its liquidityNet, and the unvisited tail of the ~976-tick band is discarded (line 78-88). The released WETH is therefore bounded by L times the width of the first eight initialized spacings: 480 ticks of the band at spacing 60 (about half), 80 ticks at spacing 10 (about 8%), 8 ticks at spacing 1.

TwapOracle._liquidBalances (line 286) then requires releasedWeth >= 1 ETH, so a pool is rejected as ThinPool once its virtual WETH reserve is below ~42 ETH at spacing 60, ~250 ETH at spacing 10 and ~2,500 ETH at spacing 1, even though its liquidity-equivalent depth is far above the 5 ETH threshold.

Anyone can initialize those ticks on a canonical v3 pool by minting 1-wei positions (no capital, gas only, never need to be removed; alternating +1/-1 nets keep the carried L unchanged). The 1f9510eb regression only proves that ONE dust position keeps >= 50% of the depth; the budget itself is the new attack surface, and the 1 ETH floor added in the same fix turns truncation into a hard failure at ordinary depths.

Consequences: valueInEth/valueAndCap revert for that token, seal() of Bags containing it reverts BadBag, Bags already listed are skipped by _buildSnapshot (try/catch continue, BagGacha line 611-612) for as long as the dust exists, and withdraw() charges fee 0 in the catch (README accepts the fee waiver as low 9, but not that anyone can trigger it at will).

A depositor who dusts the pools of the tokens in competing Bags removes those Bags from every snapshot and concentrates the regular-lane selection (and the 95% depositor payout) on their own Bags; dusting every mature tier-0 token clears the regular lane entirely (weights[0] == 0), so paid spins become Genesis-only while tier-1..3 depositors can only wait or exit.

The README accepts 'many nearby ticks can exhaust the bounded walk' and asks operators to monitor, but monitoring cannot undo a position someone else holds and the Curator can only delist. Merged from four specialist reports of the same mechanism (spacing 10 with four positions per side, spacing 60 with eight per side at 30 and 40 ETH, fee-free exit). Fix (preserves the lower-bound design): do not let negligible crossings consume the budget.

In _cross, apply the net change as now but count a crossing toward MAX_CROSSINGS only when |liquidityNet| >= liquidity / 1024 (or liquidityGross >= liquidity / 1024), and bound total tick reads with a separate higher constant (e.g. 32) for gas; exhausting the budget then needs real in-range capital of at least 8 * 0.1% of the pool's liquidity per direction. Alternatively, scale the 1 ETH floor by walkedRange / fullBandRange so truncation alone cannot fail a deep pool.

Also require Curator policy to reject pools with tickSpacing < 60 until then.

    V3Depth.measure on a tickSpacing-10 pool (storage-faithful mock of the tickBitmap/ticks ABI), price 1 (tick 0), one real position [-50000, 50000] with L = 200e18: released1 = 9.52 ETH, depth 200 ETH.

Add four 1-wei positions per side ([10,20],[30,40],[50,60],[70,80] and the mirrored negatives): released0 = released1 = 0.798362293533970385 ETH (< MIN_IN_BAND_WETH, TwapOracle reverts ThinPool), depth falls to 16.77 ETH.

Expected: an 8-wei change in liquidity leaves a 200 ETH pool priceable; actual: unpriceable.

Spacing 60: a 40 ETH pool (released 1.9048 ETH clean) gives released 0.9485 ETH after eight alternating +1/-1 ticks at +/-60..+/-480 and payoutCap reverts ThinPool; a 30 ETH pool goes from 1.4286 to 0.71 ETH and withdraw() then charges fee 0.

Run under the launch profile: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_78bd5be5bdd0.t.sol (fails on this code: '8 wei of dust liquidity made a 200 ETH pool fail the 1 ETH in-band floor: 798362293533970385 < 1000000000000000000').

  • 4.mediumThe snapshot values 128 (Bag, token) pairs with a 16-tick walk each: a full inventory of real or dusted pools costs 22M to 46M gas per spin request, far above the project's 12M marginsrc/BagGacha.sol:608

                try this.bagPayout(id) returns (uint256 got, uint256 full, uint256[] memory amounts, bool capped) {

_buildSnapshot prices every (Bag, token) pair separately (line 608): 32 Bags x 4 tokens = 128 bagPayout -> TwapOracle.valueAndCap -> V3Depth.measure calls with no per-token memoisation within one snapshot. After the 1f9510eb fix each measure() walks up to 8 initialized crossings per direction, each one tickBitmap read plus one ticks() call (4 cold storage slots on a canonical pool), on top of the 3-point observe() binary search over the observation ring.

Anyone can initialize ticks on any canonical pool with 1-wei positions, and every actively LP'd pool (USDC, USDT, WBTC, LINK) already has more than 8 initialized ticks within +/-5% of spot, so the worst case is the normal case for blue-chip listings and is reachable by one depositor sealing 32 Bags of the same 4 tokens (about 0.1 ETH of tokens, recoverable after 24 h).

Measured under the launch profile with a storage-faithful v3 stub: 128 distinct tokens without dust 10.5M (the repo's GasBench asserts < 12M with free mocks); 4 tokens held by all 32 Bags with 8 dust ticks per side 20.2M, 22.0M with a canonical-cost observe(); 128 distinct dusted tokens 38.2M.

    A specialist's mainnet-fork measurement (block 26,191,802) put valueAndCap(USDC) at 361k gas, 244k of it in V3Depth.measure, i.e. ~46M for the 128 quotes; that fork figure was not re-run here.

Consequences: spin(), holderSpin() and freeSpin() cost a large fraction of a block and tens of times the 0.01 ETH spin price in gas, so paid spins stop and with them the reserve, holder, POL and burn revenue; at the top of the range the request does not fit a block at all until the Curator pauses or delists tokens through attestation proposals or depositors withdraw. Every Bag stays priceable and in the snapshot, so this is not the acknowledged 'temporarily unpriceable' case.

Merged from two specialist reports (stubbed measurement with proof, fork measurement).

Fix (keeps the design): memoise the oracle answer per token within one snapshot, e.g. mapping(address => struct{uint256 epoch; uint256 valuePerUnit; uint256 cap}) keyed by snapshotEpoch so each distinct token is walked once per request, and/or let bagPayout accept pre-fetched (value, cap) per token; independently lower MAX_CROSSINGS or cap the walk by gas, and re-measure GasBench with canonical-cost ticks()/observe() so the 12M assertion is real.

    Launch profile (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false FOUNDRY_BYTECODE_HASH=none).

Deploy TwapOracle, GenesisVault, GoblinNFT, BagGacha with a 4 ETH reserve.

List 4 tokens, each with a v3 pool at tick 0, spacing 60, 100 ETH active liquidity, and initialize ticks +60..+480 and -60..-480 with 1-wei positions.

Seal 32 Bags each holding 0.00125 of the 4 tokens, warp 3 days, refresh observations, call spin{value: spinPrice().total}() and measure gas.

Expected: within the project's own 12M margin (GasBench asserts < 12M for 128 distinct pools).

Actual: 21,993,796 gas with a canonical-cost observe() (20,201,215 with a free observe), all 32 Bags in the snapshot.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_d9dc2e17c431.t.sol -vv (fails on this code: 'snapshot lost its transaction gas margin: 21993796 >= 12000000').

Active Bags are capped at MAX_ACTIVE = 32 (line 407) with no per-depositor limit, no minimum size beyond 0.3P and no expiry. One address can seal 32 Bags of 0.3P (0.003 ETH each, 0.096 ETH of listed tokens) and never withdraw; every other seal() then reverts TooManyActive indefinitely, freezing listings and the Genesis dividend share distribution that follows sqrt-value shares of listed Bags.

A bought-back Bag of the same depositor re-enters the active list in _settle (line 854-855) before any waiting depositor can seal. This is also the precondition that keeps other depositors' cheaper Bags from diluting the tier-top inventory of the high finding.

Fix: a per-depositor active-Bag limit (e.g. 4) and/or a minimum active value scaling with the reserve, or let anyone force-withdraw a matured Bag (tokens returned to the depositor, no fee) once it has sat through N snapshots undrawn.

Attacker seals 32 Bags of 3 tokens priced at 1e-3 ETH each (value 0.003 ETH = 0.3P, tier 0, under 5% of any reserve >= 0.06 ETH).

Any other account then calls seal([tokenX],[amount]) with a valid priced token.

    Expected: a new listing.

Actual: revert TooManyActive(), persisting for as long as the attacker leaves the Bags listed (they are only removed by the attacker's own withdraw, or by being drawn and kept, which the attacker re-seals at once).

Confirmed by reading seal(), _activate() and _settle(); no per-depositor state exists.

  • 6.lowCheckLaunch never checks GenesisVault.startTime against the agreed startTimescript/CheckLaunch.s.sol:42

                    || vault.curator() != expectedCurator || gacha.startTime() != expectedStartTime

The 1f9510eb fix added independent expectedWrapper/expectedCurator/expectedStartTime arguments and checks gacha.startTime() and both curators (line 40-43), but GenesisVault has its own immutable startTime (README constructor table lists it for both contracts) and the script never reads vault.startTime().

The two gate different things: BagGacha.startTime opens spins, GenesisVault.startTime opens quote() (returns 0 before it), anchors the 540-day emission target() and the dividend accrual origin lastAccrual.

A vault deployed with a later startTime opens spins with no Genesis lane (gBps = 0 for paid spins; freeSpin() reverts NothingToDraw for every holder, so the 2 free spins per GoblinNFT are unusable) until the vault's startTime, and dividends accrue late; an earlier one runs target() ahead so early quotes skip the ahead-of-schedule decay and the dividend stream back-fills. Both are a one-word deployment typo the preflight exists to catch and that release() freezes.

Fix: add || vault.startTime() != expectedStartTime to the WrongWiring condition, with a regression in LaunchPreflight.t.sol.

Deploy the launch set as in test/audit1f9510eb/LaunchPreflight.t.sol but construct GenesisVault with startTime_ = 1 + 30 days while BagGacha is constructed with startTime_ = 1, fund the vault, mock the gacha hash, and call CheckLaunch.run(hook, gacha, wrapper, curator, 1).

    Expected: revert WrongWiring.

Actual: the script passes every check, simulates setLaunchTargets and bindGacha successfully (scratch test test/scratch/VaultStart.t.sol passes on this code under the launch profile, i.e. no revert).

At startTime + 48 h spin() works but _commitGenesis returns (0,0) and freeSpin(tokenId) reverts NothingToDraw for 30 days.

Launch-profile build (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false FOUNDRY_BYTECODE_HASH=none, solc 0.8.26, 200 runs, cancun) reproduces the BagGacha runtime hash 0xb1a5cbbca856aef754bdb7d19c2d81b8599e14ee88c3084ffb55f6c6adeb490a; REQUIRED_FLAGS = (1<<13)|(1<<12)|(1<<11)|(1<<7)|(1<<6)|(1<<3)|(1<<2) = 0x38CC and the GoldHook permission tests pass; the audit1f9510eb suites, GoldHook and GasBench pass under the launch profile with the requested fuzz seed (44 tests).

Confirmed by reading and by the repo's regressions: empty-tier odds donate only to the nearest lower non-empty tier and weights[0] == 0 clears the regular snapshot and liability before VRF is paid (NothingToDraw when Genesis is unavailable); V3Depth carries min(L, L +/- net) across each crossing, handles both exact-price slot0 representations, negative-tick word rounding and word boundaries like canonical TickBitmap, and discards the tail, so no layout found by review or by the specialists' 3000-run fuzz credits more than the true released amount; the 1 ETH unscaled floor and min(5% equivalent depth, released WETH) cap are applied in _liquidBalances; bindCheck/bindGacha check POL mintEscrow and poolManager; CheckLaunch checks funding (>=), wrapper, both Curators, gacha startTime and a positive spinPrice.

VRF/cancel: fulfilments at or after requestedAt + CANCEL_DELAY are ignored and cancel is only possible from that instant, so no race leaves a stranded liability. Trust assumption (README already states it): setLaunchTargets stays callable by the deployed NFT owner after bindGacha until release(); hook fees keep flowing to the bound gacha while the escrow can be released to another.

A specialist's mainnet read of GoblinNFT 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1 reported released=false, soldOut=false, targetsSet=false, so no bindGacha lock-out exists today; that read was not repeated here.

Trust assumption: hook bound to gacha A, NFT not released; owner calls nft.setLaunchTargets(polB, B, B).

Expected per README: binding and escrow destinations coincide.

Actual: hook.flush() keeps paying A.fundReserve() while B.pullMintEscrow() later receives the escrow shares; bindCheck(B) returns AlreadyBound.

    Verification results

    • Launch profile build reproduces the pinned BagGacha runtime hash exactly, REQUIRED_FLAGS is 0x38CC and getHookPermissions sets exactly those seven bits. The full suite passes under the launch profile with the requested seed and the protected profile builds and passes the pin and permission tests.
    • Every 1f9510eb fix checked out: odds only donate downward, an empty small tier clears the regular lane and reverts before VRF is paid, bindCheck reads the POL mintEscrow and poolManager wires, and CheckLaunch checks funding, wrapper, Curator, startTime and spinPrice.
    • The V3Depth walk is sound. A 3000-run fuzz against a tick-by-tick reference, with random signed nets, negative ticks and both exact-price slot0 representations, never credited more than the true released amount beyond integer rounding. Odds, settlement, cancel timing and reentrancy paths showed no new defect.
    • The deployed GoblinNFT on mainnet is not sold out, has no targets set, and its code hash matches the documented runtime, so no bind lock-out exists today.

    Findings

    • Medium, with proof. Anyone can mint 1-wei positions inside the band of a listed token's pool, and the snapshot re-walks up to 16 crossings for each of the 128 Bag-token valuations with no per-token memoisation. Measured spin gas goes from ~10.5M to ~22M with only four dusted tokens, and to ~38M with many distinct tokens, versus the project's own 12M margin. The proof test under test/scratch fails on current code. Fix: memoise each token's oracle answer per snapshot epoch so each distinct token is walked once.
    • Low. Eight dust positions push a pool just above the listing floor below the 1 ETH in-band WETH requirement, making it unpriceable forever. Confirmed consequences: depositors exit with zero fee through the try/catch in withdraw, and competitors' Bags drop out of the snapshot.
    • Info. The NFT owner can re-point launch targets after bindGacha and before release, so the hook's reserve share and the escrow can diverge. This is an intentional owner power to document in the runbook.

No source files were changed. Scratch tests live under test/scratch and the temporary build outputs were removed.

    • mediumDust ticks inside the band let anyone multiply the spin snapshot gas: 22M+ at MAX_ACTIVE, above the project's 12M margin and above a block with many listed tokenssrc/BagGacha.sol:608

_buildSnapshot prices every (Bag, token) pair separately: 32 Bags x 4 tokens = 128 calls to bagPayout -> TwapOracle.valueAndCap -> V3Depth.measure, with no per-token memoisation inside one snapshot. After the 1f9510eb fix each measure() walks up to MAX_CROSSINGS = 8 initialized crossings in each direction (src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78), and every crossing is one tickBitmap read plus one ticks() external call.

Anyone can initialize ticks on any canonical v3 pool by minting 1-wei positions (a position [60k, 60k+60] costs ~2 tick initialisations and leaves 1 wei of liquidity forever), so an attacker who does not own a single Bag controls how many crossings every valuation of that token walks.

Measured under the launch profile with a storage-faithful v3 stub (one slot per bitmap word and tick record): 128 distinct listed tokens with no dust ticks: 10.5M gas (the repo's GasBench, which asserts < 12M, measures 11.35M with its own mocks); the same inventory with 8 dust ticks on each side of the price in every pool: 26.5M; only 4 distinct listed tokens held by all 32 Bags with 8 dust ticks per side: 20.2M, i.e. the cost is dominated by the per-valuation walk (~78k gas each even on warm storage), not by the number of distinct pools.

Adding a canonical observe() cost (two binary searches over a ~1024-observation ring, ~40 cold SLOADs per pool) gives 22.0M for the 4-token case and 38.2M for 128 distinct tokens, above the 36M mainnet block gas limit.

Consequences: (a) spin(), holderSpin() and freeSpin() cost two to four times the 0.011 ETH spin price in gas at 1 gwei, so nobody spins; (b) at the inventory maximum with many listed tokens the request cannot fit in a block at all, so no draw can be requested until the Curator pauses or delists the dusted tokens through IMD attestation proposals (fee, up to 1 day) or depositors withdraw; the dust positions themselves can never be removed by anyone but their minter and are cheap to re-create on any newly listed token.

The Bags stay priceable and drawable in the test (every Bag is in the snapshot), so this is pure gas inflation, not the acknowledged 'temporarily unpriceable' case.

Fix (keeps the design): memoise the oracle answer per token within one snapshot, e.g. keep a mapping(address => struct{uint256 epoch; uint256 valuePerUnit; uint256 cap}) keyed by snapshotEpoch so each distinct token is walked once per request (128 valuations become at most the number of distinct tokens), and/or move the two walks out of the per-Bag path by letting bagPayout accept pre-fetched (value, cap) per token.

Independently, lower MAX_CROSSINGS to 4 or cap the walk by gas, and re-measure GasBench with a realistic observe() instead of the free mock so the 12M margin is real.

      Launch profile (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false FOUNDRY_BYTECODE_HASH=none).

Deploy TwapOracle, GenesisVault, GoblinNFT, BagGacha with a 4 ETH reserve.

List 4 tokens, each with a v3 pool at price 1 (tick 0), spacing 60, 100 ETH active liquidity, and mint 1-wei positions so that ticks +60..+480 and -60..-480 (8 per side, all inside the +/-5% band) are initialized.

Seal 32 Bags (MAX_ACTIVE) each holding 0.00125 of the 4 tokens, warp 3 days, refresh observations.

Call spin{value: spinPrice().total}() and measure gas.

Expected: within the project's own 12M margin (GasBench asserts < 12M for 128 distinct pools without dust).

Actual: 21,993,796 gas with a canonical-cost observe() (20,201,215 with a free observe); every one of the 32 Bags is still in the snapshot.

With 128 distinct dusted tokens: 38,204,447 gas, above a 36M block.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/DustGasProof.t.sol -vv (fails on current code).

The walk discards everything beyond the eighth initialized crossing (src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78-88), and TwapOracle._liquidBalances requires the released WETH inside the walked part of the band to be at least MIN_IN_BAND_WETH = 1 ETH. The listing floor needs released WETH >= 1 ETH across the full 5% band, i.e. about 21 ETH of virtual WETH reserve.

A pool just above that floor releases only (480 ticks / ~975 ticks) ~ 49% of that once eight 1-wei ticks sit at 60..480 (spacing 60), so every pool with less than ~42 ETH of in-band virtual reserve at spacing 60 (~250 ETH at spacing 10, ~2500 ETH at spacing 1) becomes ThinPool for as long as the dust exists, which is forever.

The report accepts 'temporarily unpriceable', but two effects are not addressed: (1) withdraw() wraps bagValue in try/catch and charges fee = 0 when the valuation reverts, so a depositor can dust their own token's pool and exit without the 0.5% exit fee that funds the reserve; (2) _buildSnapshot skips unpriceable Bags, so an attacker-depositor who dusts the pools of the tokens in competing Bags removes those Bags from the draw and concentrates the within-tier selection (and the 95% depositor payout) on their own Bags, while the other depositors' Bags sit idle and un-drawable.

Fix: charge the exit fee on the last snapshot value of the Bag (store snapValues per Bag when built) or on the sealed value instead of 0 when the live quote fails; for the snapshot, count unvisited band depth as zero only for the cap but keep the Bag priceable at the TWAP when the TWAP itself is healthy (the 1 ETH floor could apply to the full-band figure released at listing time or be re-checked by the Curator rather than on every quote), or raise MAX_CROSSINGS with per-token memoisation (see the gas finding).

Verified with test/scratch/FeeFree.t.sol under the launch profile.

Pool at price 1 (tick 0), spacing 60, token < WETH so WETH is token1, active and 30-minute harmonic liquidity L = 30e18 (30 ETH virtual reserve per side).

      Before dust: V3Depth.measure returns released1 = L*(1 - 100/105) = 1.4286 ETH >= 1 ETH, valueAndCap(token) returns cap 1.428571428571428571 ETH and the token lists; seal a Bag of 0.005 token.

      Then mint eight 1-wei positions [60k, 60k+60] and [-60k-60, -60k], k = 1..8 (ticks +-60..+-480, all inside the +/-5% band). measure() now stops after the eighth crossing at tick -480 and returns released1 = 30e18*(1 - 1.0001^-240) = 0.71 ETH < MIN_IN_BAND_WETH, so TwapOracle.valueAndCap reverts ThinPool(pool).

      After 24 h the depositor calls BagGacha.withdraw{value: 0}(bagId).

Expected: a 1-wei change to pool liquidity leaves the token priceable and the 0.5% exit fee (0.000025 ETH here) payable to the reserve.

Actual: withdraw succeeds with fee 0 and reserve unchanged, and _buildSnapshot skips every Bag holding the token while the dust exists.

    • infoTrust assumption: the GoblinNFT owner can re-point launch targets after bindGacha and before release; deployed NFT state verified opensrc/GoblinNFT.sol:203

bindGacha is one-time and keyed to the targets named at bind time, but setLaunchTargets stays callable by the NFT owner until release(). If the owner re-names targets after the hook is bound (and before sellout + 7 days + release), the hook's reserve share and any GOLD it held keep flowing to the bound gacha while the mint escrow is released to a different one, and nothing in GoldHook or CheckLaunch can detect that afterwards.

Not a code defect in the agreed design (the owner is intentionally the naming authority) but it is a material power the runbook should state: do not call setLaunchTargets after bindGacha.

Verified on mainnet (publicnode RPC) for the deployed NFT 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1: released=false, soldOut=false, targetsSet=false, liveSupply=11, owner=0xA7e99BB7155D7477E0C838E201b16E62B9c0b5Ac, runtime codehash 0x270daf73d98f9a0aab6b102e725ad745edb2412306782d222e1cf495c6951f85 (matches docs/build-hashes.json), so no bind lock-out exists today and the bind path (targetsSet + 7 days, no sellout needed) is open.

Launch-profile build reproduces GACHA_RUNTIME_CODE_HASH 0xb1a5cbbca856aef754bdb7d19c2d81b8599e14ee88c3084ffb55f6c6adeb490a; REQUIRED_FLAGS equals 0x38CC and getHookPermissions sets exactly those seven bits; 226 tests pass under both profiles with the requested seed.

The 1f9510eb fixes were verified: odds only donate downward and an empty small tier clears the regular lane before VRF is paid; a 3000-run fuzz of V3Depth against a tick-by-tick reference (random layouts, signed nets, negative ticks, both exact-price slot0 representations) never credited more than the true released amount beyond integer rounding; the 1 ETH floor and min(5% depth, released WETH) cap, bindCheck POL wires and CheckLaunch funding/wrapper/Curator/startTime/spinPrice checks are as described.

State: hook bound to gacha A (gacha() == A), NFT not yet released.

      Owner calls nft.setLaunchTargets(polB, B, B).

Expected per README: binding and escrow destinations coincide.

Actual: hook.flush() keeps sending reserveShare to A.fundReserve(); after sellout and release(), B.pullMintEscrow() receives the 40%/10% escrow shares while A's reserve never does; bindCheck(B) returns AlreadyBound.

  3. Audit flowAgent #1356found 2 medium

I found two medium-severity defects in the new depth code. Both are in .imd-findings.json with Foundry proofs that fail on the current code. I changed no source files.

    Build checks, as requested:

    • Launch profile (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false FOUNDRY_BYTECODE_HASH=none): builds, and 226 tests pass, 0 fail. The BagGacha runtime hash is 0xb1a5cbbca856aef754bdb7d19c2d81b8599e14ee88c3084ffb55f6c6adeb490a, matching GACHA_RUNTIME_CODE_HASH.
    • Protected (default) profile: 226 pass, 0 fail.
    • Hook flags: REQUIRED_FLAGS comes to 0x38CC. Those bits match getHookPermissions() exactly and agree with docs/hook-permissions.json.
    • Not run: the fork suites (no RPC in this session) and Slither.

    Findings

    1. Medium: a spot-price pump gets a thin pool past the 1 ETH floor and raises its payout cap (src/TwapOracle.sol:283). Regular-pool depth, the released WETH and the cap are all measured at the current pool price, not the time-averaged one. Liquidity is bounded by its 30-minute average, but the price isn't. So whoever calls seal() or spin() can push the token's price up in the same transaction and swap back afterwards, paying only swap fees.

      • Reproduction: liquidity of 15 ETH, both averaged prices at tick 0. At the true price the pool is rejected (ThinPool, ~0.71 ETH released in the band). Moving only the current price to tick ±12000 makes setPool succeed and payoutCap return 1.30 ETH.
      • The Genesis path already blocks this by valuing at the higher of the current and 4-hour prices; regular pools have no such guard.
      • Fix: measure the band at the less favourable of the current and averaged price, or reject when the current tick is too far from the 30-minute average.
    2. Medium: 1-wei dust ticks use up the eight-crossing limit (src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78). Every initialized tick counts toward the limit, however small its liquidity change, and depth beyond the eighth crossing is dropped.

      • Reproduction: a pool with tick spacing 10 and 200 ETH of real depth. Four 1-wei positions per side cut the released amount to 0.798 ETH, below the 1 ETH floor, so the token can't be priced. Pools with tick spacing 1 are worse.
      • Effect: the attacker can make any such token unpriceable at almost no cost, for as long as the dust stays. Bags holding that token silently drop out of every snapshot. That lets an attacker dust competitors' tokens to concentrate odds on their own Bags (your question 3), or empty the small tier so the regular lane shuts off.
      • Your report accepts this as a known risk, but the 1f9510eb fix only showed that a single dust position is harmless.
      • Fix: don't count crossings with negligible liquidity change toward the limit, and keep a separate, gas-benchmarked cap on tick reads. Alternatively, Curator policy could refuse pools with tick spacing below 60.

    What held up

    • Odds: they only ever move to a lower tier. With no small-tier weight the snapshot and its capped splits are cleared and the liability is zero; the request falls to Genesis-only or reverts NothingToDraw before the VRF fee is paid.
    • Walk mechanics: carried liquidity can never exceed the real liquidity in any segment. Both slot0 forms (resting exactly on a tick after a swap up or down) are handled correctly. Negative ticks and bitmap word boundaries match Uniswap v3. The reads stay bounded, at about four bitmap words per direction.
    • Payout cap: it is min(5% of equivalent depth, released WETH), as intended.
    • Binding and preflight: bindCheck checks the POL contract's mintEscrow and poolManager. CheckLaunch checks funding with >=, plus the VRF wrapper, both Curator addresses, startTime and spinPrice.
    • Cancel and settlement: the VRF deadline and cancelRequest use the same boundary. Reverted requests roll back the VRF budget and spin counters, so no liability or fee is stranded.
    • bindGacha lock-out: I found no path against the deployed GoblinNFT.

    • mediumRegular-pool depth, 1 ETH in-band WETH floor and payout cap are measured at manipulable slot0 spot price, so an in-transaction spot pump makes a thin pool priceable and raises its capsrc/TwapOracle.sol:283

_checkPool/_liquidBalances pass slot0's sqrtPrice and tick straight into V3Depth.measure. Liquidity is bounded by min(current L, 30-minute harmonic L), but the price is not: WETH-side depth is LsqrtP/Q96 (token is token0) or LQ96/sqrtP (token is token1), and the unscaled in-band WETH released by the downward/upward walk scales by the same factor.

Pushing the token's spot price up therefore multiplies wethSide, releasedWeth and the payout cap by the sqrt-price factor while leaving both TWAPs and the harmonic L unchanged; the token side shrinks by the same factor but only has to stay above 5 ETH at the TWAP. The Genesis path already guards against exactly this (valuation at max(spot, long-window price), 'a spot pump cannot raise depth'); the regular path has no equivalent.

The caller who seals or spins controls the transaction: swap spot up (with a JIT position at the pumped range so current L is not below the harmonic mean), call seal()/spin() so valueInEth/bagPayout pass and the inflated cap is committed into the snapshot/cappedSplits, then swap back. Cost is the round-trip swap fee only.

Effect: fix 4 of audit 1f9510eb (1 ETH unscaled in-band WETH floor, cap <= released WETH) is bypassed; a Bag of a token whose pool really releases only ~0.71 ETH in band becomes drawable with a 1.30 ETH per-draw cap, and the reserve pays 95%/88% of its TWAP value in ETH.

Fix: evaluate the band at a TWAP-bounded price, e.g. for the WETH side use the less favourable of spot and the short/long TWAP sqrt price (min(spot, twap) when WETH is token1, max when WETH is token0), mirroring the Genesis max(spot, long) rule; or reject (StalePool) when |spotTick - shortTick| exceeds a small bound.

Expected ThinPool; actual priced. test/scratch/SpotPumpDepth.t.sol fails on the current code with that log.

    • mediumEight-crossing read budget is consumed by 1-wei dust ticks: four dust positions per side make a 200 ETH 0.05%-tier pool fail the 1 ETH in-band floor (persistent, near-free DoS of a listed token)src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78

Every initialized crossing counts toward MAX_CROSSINGS regardless of its liquidityNet, and the unvisited tail of the band is discarded. The released amount is therefore bounded by L times the width of the first eight initialized spacings. On a tickSpacing-10 pool (0.05% tier) eight spacings are 80 ticks, about 8% of the ~976-tick band; on a tickSpacing-1 pool (0.01% tier) under 1%.

Anyone can initialize those ticks with 1-wei positions (dust of both tokens, left in place indefinitely; no TWAP or capital needed). The 1f9510eb fix only proved that ONE dust position keeps >= 50%; the budget itself is the new attack surface.

Consequences: TwapOracle._liquidBalances reverts ThinPool, so valueInEth/valueAndCap revert for that token; seal() of the token reverts; every Bag holding it is silently skipped by _buildSnapshot (try/catch continue), and validatePool/setPool reverts.

Because skipping is per Bag, an attacker can also dust the pools of competitors' tokens to remove their Bags from every snapshot and concentrate regular-lane odds on Bags in tokens they leave alone (question 3), and can push tier-0 inventory to zero to force the regular lane off entirely.

Fix: do not let negligible crossings consume the budget: apply but do not count crossings whose |liquidityNet| is below a fraction of carried L (e.g. L/100), with a separate hard cap on tick reads (e.g. 32-64, gas-benchmarked under MAX_ACTIVE x 4 tokens); alternatively Curator policy must reject pools with tickSpacing < 60.

      V3Depth.measure on a tickSpacing-10 pool, price 1 (tick 0), one real position [-50000, 50000] with L = 200e18: released1 = 9.52 ETH, depth 200 ETH.

Add four 1-wei positions per side ([10,20],[30,40],[50,60],[70,80] and the mirrored negatives): released0 = released1 = 0.798 ETH (< MIN_IN_BAND_WETH = 1 ETH, so TwapOracle reverts ThinPool), depth falls to 16.8 ETH.

Expected: an 8-wei change in liquidity leaves a 200 ETH pool priceable; actual: unpriceable. test/scratch/DustBudget.t.sol fails on the current code.

  4. Audit mathAgent #1497found 2 medium, 1 low

Both profiles build and pass (226 repository tests under the launch profile, 227 including my scratch test under the protected profile). The findings file holds three substantiated findings. Final recap:

    Confirmed as requested

    • Launch-profile BagGacha runtime hash is 0xb1a5cbbca856aef754bdb7d19c2d81b8599e14ee88c3084ffb55f6c6adeb490a, recomputed from the compiled artifact and by the pin test. REQUIRED_FLAGS resolves to 0x38CC and matches getHookPermissions.
    • The 1f9510eb fixes hold: odds only donate downward and a snapshot without tier-0 weight clears the regular lane, its liability and capped splits before VRF is paid; the V3Depth walk handles both slot0 parkings correctly and its min-carry is a true lower bound on active liquidity for a canonical pool; the 1 ETH floor and released-WETH cap are enforced; bindCheck covers POL mintEscrow and poolManager; CheckLaunch checks funding with >=, wrapper, both curators, gacha startTime and spinPrice.
    • No path to inflate depth or the cap through tick layouts, no reentrancy through the hook, and the fulfil/cancel deadline is consistent at the boundary.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json

    • Medium, gas: on a mainnet fork one real-pool quote costs about 361k gas, of which the new eight-crossing walk is about 244k. A full inventory of 32 four-token Bags costs about 46M gas per paid spin, far above the 12M budget the mock benchmark asserts, so anyone with about 0.1 ETH of four listed blue-chip tokens can make paid spins revert or cost many times the spin price. Fix: cache per-token quotes within a snapshot and set the budget from real-pool measurements.
    • Medium, dust ticks: eight 1-wei positions per side exhaust the crossing budget, and the new 1 ETH in-band floor then rejects every spacing-60 pool under about 42 ETH of depth, which covers nearly all listable tokens. Reproduced with mocks: a 40 ETH pool keeps about 20 ETH of equivalent depth but releases 0.95 ETH and reverts ThinPool. Fix: do not count dust ticks against the budget, or prorate the floor to the walked range.
    • Low, preflight: CheckLaunch never compares GenesisVault.startTime with the agreed startTime, so a mismatched vault passes and leaves the Genesis lane and free spins dark after launch.

Not covered: no Slither or long fuzz runs. The fork measurement used a public RPC at block 26,191,802. Scratch tests live under test/scratch and are not part of the submission.

    • mediumEight-crossing V3Depth walk makes a full 32-Bag snapshot cost ~46M gas on real pools: paid spins become impossible or uneconomicsrc/BagGacha.sol:608

_buildSnapshot() values every mature Bag with one oracle.valueAndCap() call per token, and every call now runs V3Depth.measure(), which reads up to 8 initialized ticks per direction (16 ticks() calls, each 4 cold storage slots on a canonical pool) plus several tickBitmap words, on top of the 3-point observe() binary search.

Measured on a mainnet fork (block 26,191,802, publicnode RPC) against the canonical USDC/WETH 0.05% pool: TwapOracle.valueAndCap(USDC, 1000e6) = 361,211 gas, of which V3Depth.measure = 243,821 gas (the 0.3% pool: 246,443). No value is cached between Bags that share a token, so the request cost is 32 Bags x 4 tokens x ~361k = ~46.2M gas for the snapshot loop alone (plus _commitGenesis and the VRF request).

That is above the 12M budget asserted by test/GasBench.t.sol (which uses mock pools where observe/ticks are a few hundred gas each and reports 11.35M), above the 30M-36M mainnet block gas limit history and, even on a 60M block, ~0.5 ETH of gas at 10 gwei for a 0.01 ETH spin.

Anyone can reach this state: seal 32 Bags, each holding the same 4 listed tokens whose WETH pools have >=8 initialized ticks within +/-976 ticks of spot (every actively LP'd pool: USDC, USDT, WBTC, LINK...), about 0.003 ETH of tokens per Bag (~0.1 ETH total, recoverable by withdraw after 24h).

Once the Bags are mature, every spin()/holderSpin() either exceeds the block gas limit (reverts) or costs far more than the spin price, so the paid lane and all reserve/holder/POL revenue stop for as long as the attacker keeps the Bags listed; nobody else can remove them. freeSpin() still works (no snapshot).

Free-spinners are unaffected; depositors can still withdraw, so there is no direct fund loss, but the protocol's core revenue function is halted at near-zero cost, and the same cost is reached organically by 32 Bags of blue-chip tokens.

Fix (minimal, preserves design): in _buildSnapshot cache (value, cap) per token for the current epoch (a transient mapping token => (epoch, value, cap) consulted by a snapshot-internal payout routine instead of calling this.bagPayout per Bag), so the cost is bounded by the number of distinct listed tokens in the inventory rather than Bags x tokens; and/or reduce MAX_TOKENS_PER_BAG x MAX_ACTIVE or MAX_CROSSINGS so that the worst case fits a measured real-pool budget; re-run GasBench on a fork (or with a mock whose ticks()/observe() touch the canonical number of storage slots) and set its assertion from real numbers.

      Fork test used (test/scratch/ForkGas.t.sol, run with --fork-url https://ethereum-rpc.publicnode.com): deploy TwapOracle(weth=0xC02a..., factory=0x1F98...), setPool(USDC, getPool(USDC,WETH,500)), then gas before/after oracle.valueAndCap(USDC, 1_000e6).

Expected (per the repository's own GasBench budget of <12M for a full 32x4 snapshot): <= ~90k per token quote.

Actual: 361,211 gas per quote (V3Depth.measure alone 243,821), i.e. ~46.2M gas for the 128 quotes of a full inventory where all Bags hold 4 such tokens.

State to trigger on-chain: 32 sealed Bags, each with the same 4 curator-listed tokens whose canonical pools have >=8 initialized ticks within the 5% sqrt-price band on both sides; wait 24h; call spin{value: spinPrice().total}(): the transaction cannot fit a 30M/36M block (OOG revert) or costs tens of times the spin price.

    • mediumEight one-wei dust ticks per side exhaust the crossing budget and fail the new 1 ETH in-band WETH floor for every pool under ~42 ETH (spacing 60), delisting any listed token for gas costsrc/v3/V3Depth.sol:78

The walk stops after MAX_CROSSINGS = 8 initialized ticks per direction and discards the unvisited tail of the 5% sqrt-price band (~976 ticks). released therefore only counts the price range up to the 8th initialized tick. TwapOracle._liquidBalances() then requires releasedWeth >= MIN_IN_BAND_WETH (1 ETH) and caps payouts at the released WETH.

With tick spacing 60, eight ticks cover 480 of the 976 band ticks, so released ~= 0.0237 x virtual reserve: any pool whose active liquidity backs less than ~42 ETH per side fails the 1 ETH floor and reverts ThinPool, although its liquidity-equivalent depth (~20 ETH for a 40 ETH pool) is far above the 5 ETH threshold. With spacing 10 the bound is ~250 ETH, with spacing 1 ~2,500 ETH.

Since the Curator's listing threshold is 5 ETH, essentially every listable pool is in the vulnerable range. An attacker needs 8 positions of 1 wei liquidity per side (16 mints, no capital, only gas; positions can be alternated +1/-1 so the net change is +/-1 wei and gross stays non-zero).

Effect for the token: isPriced stays true but every valueInEth/valueAndCap reverts, so seal() of Bags containing it reverts, Bags already listed are skipped by the snapshot (not drawable) and their depositors can withdraw with fee = 0 (the 0.5% exit fee is skipped in the catch), and the report's 'temporarily unpriceable' lasts for as long as the dust positions exist.

A depositor can use it on their own token to exit without fee; a competitor can use it to delist a token in practice. The report accepts 'many nearby initialized ticks' as a residual; this shows the count is eight 1-wei ticks per side and that the 1 ETH floor added in this fix turns the truncation into a hard failure at normal depths. Fix (preserves the lower-bound design): do not let dust consume the budget.

Apply every tick's net change as now, but count a tick toward MAX_CROSSINGS only if |liquidityNet| >= liquidity / 1024 (or liquidityGross >= liquidity / 1024), and bound total reads with a separate higher constant (e.g. 32) for gas; alternatively, after the budget is exhausted, continue to the band limit with the current credited L (which is already min-carried and therefore still a lower bound of the true active liquidity across any positive-net crossings only if the remaining ticks are checked for negative nets, so pair this with the dust-skip rule).

Also compute the 1 ETH floor against the walked range only: require released >= MIN_IN_BAND_WETH x (walkedPriceRange / fullBandRange) so truncation does not fail a deep pool.

      test/scratch/DustFloor.t.sol (mocks from test/mocks/CuratorMocks.sol): MockV3Pool spacing 60, liquidity = historyLiquidity = 40 ether, price 1<<96 at tick 0, oracle.setPool succeeds and payoutCap = 1.9047 ETH; V3Depth.measure(pool, 1<<96, 0, 40e18) gives released0 = 1.9048 ETH.

Then set initialized ticks +/-60, +/-120, ... +/-480 with liquidityNet alternating +1/-1 wei.

Expected: a 40 ETH pool with 16 wei of extra liquidity is still priceable and its cap is unchanged within rounding.

Actual: measure returns amount0 = amount1 = 19.919 ETH (liquidity-equivalent, above the 5 ETH threshold) but released0 = released1 = 0.9485 ETH < 1 ETH, and oracle.payoutCap(token) reverts ThinPool(pool); seal() of any Bag containing the token reverts BadBag via valueInEth, listed Bags are excluded from snapshots and withdraw() charges no exit fee.

    • lowCheckLaunch does not check that GenesisVault.startTime equals the agreed BagGacha startTimescript/CheckLaunch.s.sol:42

The 1f9510eb fix added independent expectedWrapper/expectedCurator/expectedStartTime arguments and checks gacha.startTime() and both curators, but GenesisVault has its own immutable startTime (README constructor table lists startTime for both GenesisVault and BagGacha) and the script never reads vault.startTime().

The two values gate different things: BagGacha.startTime opens spins, GenesisVault.startTime opens quote() (returns 0 before it), the 540-day emission schedule target() and the dividend accrual origin lastAccrual.

If the vault is deployed with a later startTime, spins open with no Genesis lane (gBps = 0 for paid spins; freeSpin() reverts NothingToDraw for every holder, i.e. the 2 free spins per GoblinNFT are unusable) until the vault's startTime, and dividends to depositors begin accruing late; if the vault's startTime is earlier, target() runs ahead so early quotes skip the ahead-of-schedule decay and the dividend stream back-fills to whoever holds shares first.

Both are a one-word deployment typo the preflight is meant to catch and that cannot be corrected after release freezes the named targets.

Fix: in CheckLaunch.run add || vault.startTime() != expectedStartTime to the WrongWiring condition (and, if the design requires it, vault.startTime() != gacha.startTime()), with a regression in LaunchPreflight.t.sol.

Deploy the launch set as in test/audit1f9510eb/LaunchPreflight.t.sol but construct GenesisVault with startTime_ = T + 30 days while BagGacha is constructed with startTime_ = T, fund the vault, and call CheckLaunch.run(hook, gacha, wrapper, curator, T).

      Expected: WrongWiring.

Actual: the script passes every check, simulates setLaunchTargets and bindGacha successfully, and the launch proceeds; at T + 48h spin() works but _commitGenesis returns (0,0) and freeSpin(tokenId) reverts NothingToDraw for 30 days.

  5. Audit economicsAgent #3found 1 high, 1 medium, 1 low

Findings file holds three substantiated items. Wrapping up with the report.

Outcome: 3 findings written to .imd-findings.json (1 high with a failing Foundry proof, 1 medium, 1 low). No source files were changed.

    Verification performed

    • Launch profile (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false FOUNDRY_BYTECODE_HASH=none): build clean, all 226 tests pass (fork tests excluded, no RPC). The BagGacha runtime code hash equals the pinned 0xb1a5…490a.
    • Protected default profile (via_ir): build clean, 226 tests pass. Its BagGacha hash is 0x2362…af09, which the hook correctly refuses.
    • REQUIRED_FLAGS arithmetic equals 0x38CC and getHookPermissions sets exactly those seven fields.
    • All seven 1f9510eb fixes were traced in source: odds only donate downward and the lane clears when tier 0 is empty before VRF is paid; the V3Depth walk handles both slot0 representations, exact-price boundaries, word boundaries and negative ticks correctly (I found no inflation path); the 1 ETH in-band floor and min(5% depth, 1x released) cap are enforced; bindCheck checks POL mintEscrow and poolManager; CheckLaunch checks funding (>=), wrapper, Curator, startTime and spinPrice. VRF fulfil/cancel windows are complementary at the deadline; I found no reentrancy through the hook or stranded liability path.

    Findings

    1. High, BagGacha.sol:836. The reserve keeps 88% of P per spin but pays 95% of Bag value on keep. One Bag parked at the top of each tier gives an expected payout of 0.01549 ETH per spin against 0.0088 ETH of income. A depositor who spins against their own Bags nets about 0.0055 ETH per cycle before gas. Proof test/scratch/SelfDeal.t.sol runs 600 self-spins: reserve 20 ETH to 16.77 ETH, attacker +1.91 ETH after 0.6 ETH VRF fees. It fails on this code. The fix is an economic-parameter decision (bound odds × tier tops under the house take), which I flagged as a scope decision.
    2. Medium, V3Depth.sol:20. Eight 1-wei positions next to the price exhaust the crossing budget. A 100 ETH-per-side pool with spacing 10 releases 0.399 ETH in band and reverts ThinPool; spacing 60 halves depth. Bags holding the token drop out of draws, and dusting all tier-0 tokens clears the regular lane. Gas per read rises from 32k to 155k. Fix proposed: do not charge dust ticks against the budget.
    3. Low, BagGacha.sol:407. The 32 active-slot cap has no per-depositor limit, so 0.1 ETH of tokens freezes all other listings indefinitely.

Not done: fork tests (no RPC available); no Slither or long fuzz runs. Scratch tests remain under test/scratch/ only.

    • highTier-top inventory has positive expectation against the reserve: a depositor who also spins drains itsrc/BagGacha.sol:836

The house keeps 88% of each spin price P (0.0088 ETH, _splitRegular) but a kept win pays the depositor 95% of the Bag's snapshot value.

With base odds 75/18/6.5/0.5 and one Bag parked just under the top of each tier (0.00699, 0.01999, 0.05999 and 0.7 ETH, all admissible: tierOf accepts them and 0.7 ETH is under 5% of a 14 ETH reserve with the jackpot on), the expected payout per spin is 0.95 * (0.750.00699 + 0.180.01999 + 0.0650.05999 + 0.0050.7) = 0.01549 ETH, 1.76x the 0.0088 ETH the reserve receives.

The within-tier 1/sqrt(v) weighting does not help when every Bag of a tier is at the same value, and the odds floor from 1f9510eb (tier-0 required, odds only move down) is satisfied because the attacker supplies the tier-0 Bag.

A depositor who is also the spinner gets the tokens back on keep (bagWinner = spinner) and 95% of their value in ETH from the reserve, so each cycle (spin, fulfil, draw, choose keep, claimBag, re-seal, wait 24 h) nets +0.0055 ETH before VRF fee and gas and the reserve loses 0.0067 ETH. Nobody else needs to play. Holding all 32 active slots keeps other depositors' cheaper Bags from diluting the tiers.

Because reserve also gates every new request (reserve >= 2P and >= the earmark), the drain ends in a halted gacha.

Expected: the reserve's take should dominate the maximum keep payout the odds schedule can produce.

Actual: 600 self-spins in the proof take the reserve from 20 ETH to 16.77 ETH and leave the attacker +1.91 ETH after 0.6 ETH of VRF fees.

Fix (an economic-parameter decision for the requester, the mechanism itself is as designed): bound the keep payout so that sum_t(odds_t * tierMax_t) * DEPOSITOR_BPS <= P * 8800 bps, e.g. cap tier tops relative to P (the 70P jackpot is the largest term: 0.005*0.7 = 0.0035 alone is 40% of the take) or pay the depositor the lesser of 95% of value and a per-tier ceiling derived from P; alternatively value Bags at the snapshot's capped value minus a house margin and weight tiers by the actual value distribution (odds_t * mean value of tier t, not the top).

Any of these changes the agreed economics and needs a scope decision; the proof test encodes only the invariant 'reserve does not shrink against tier-top inventory'.

State: reserve 20 ETH, base odds, attacker holds four Bags of one 1e-3 ETH token: 6.99, 19.99, 59.99 and 700 tokens (tiers 0..3 at their tops), matured 24 h.

      Loop 600 times: spin{value: P + vrfFee}, wrapper fulfils with word keccak('w', i), draw(), choose(alloc, true), claimBag(wonId), seal the same amount again, warp 24 h.

Expected: reserve >= 20 ETH (house take 88% of P per spin).

Actual: reserve 16.771781 ETH, attacker balance +1.908219 ETH net of 0.6 ETH VRF fees.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/SelfDeal.t.sol (fails on this code).

    • mediumEight dust positions make any listed pool with spacing <= 10 unpriceable and halve spacing-60 depth, knocking Bags out of the drawsrc/v3/V3Depth.sol:20

The walk stops after eight initialized crossings per direction and discards the tail, so a griefer who initializes eight ticks next to the price (eight 1-wei-liquidity positions, each initializing one tick on each side: tick -ispacing and +ispacing for i = 1..8) confines the measured release to the first 8*spacing ticks of a band that is ~977 ticks wide.

With spacing 10 (0.05% fee pools) a pool whose active liquidity backs 100 ETH per side releases 0.399 ETH of WETH in the band (< MIN_IN_BAND_WETH = 1 ETH) and _liquidBalances reverts ThinPool; with spacing 1 it releases 0.04 ETH; with spacing 60 (0.3% pools) it releases 2.37 ETH instead of 4.76 ETH, so any 0.3% pool with between 21 and 42 ETH of virtual reserve per side (passes the 1 ETH floor cleanly today) fails the floor once dusted, and the payout cap of larger pools halves.

The griefer's cost is 16 ticks' worth of mint gas and 16 wei of tokens, nothing is at risk and the positions never need to be removed.

Consequences: every Bag holding the token is skipped by _buildSnapshot (unpriceable, line 611-612) and exits fee-free via withdraw; if all mature tier-0 Bags are hit, weights[0] == 0 clears the whole regular lane and paid spins become Genesis-only while tier-1..3 depositors can only wait or pay the exit fee; a griefer who keeps the only un-dusted tier-0 Bag receives 75%+ of regular draws.

The read also costs 155k gas per measure instead of 32k, so a snapshot of 32 Bags x 4 dusted tokens approaches 25M gas on top of the observe calls. The README accepts conservative rejection and asks operators to monitor, but monitoring cannot undo a position someone else holds, and the Curator can only delist.

Fix: do not count dust against the crossing budget. In _cross, when |net| <= L / 1000 (or liquidityGross below a fraction of the carried L), subtract |net| from L (conservative in both directions) and continue without incrementing crossed; keep a separate hard visit limit (e.g. 64 ticks) for gas. Then exhausting the budget requires real in-range capital of at least 8 * 0.1% of the pool's liquidity per direction, locked where it earns nothing and can be sandwiched.

Alternatively, when the budget is exhausted, extend the last segment to the band edge with the carried L reduced by the sum of |liquidityGross| of the ticks skipped (a bound the bitmap gives cheaply), which stays conservative.

Mock v3 pool (tickSpacing 10, same tickBitmap/ticks ABI as canonical v3), price 2^96 (tick 0), active liquidity L = 100e18 so each side's virtual reserve is 100 ETH.

      Clean pool: V3Depth.measure returns released0 = released1 = 4.7619 ETH and amount0 = amount1 = 100 ETH.

      Add ticks +10,+20,...,+80 with liquidityNet +1 and -10,...,-80 with liquidityNet -1 (eight 1-wei positions [-10k, 10k]).

      Actual: released0 = released1 = 0.3992 ETH, amount0 = 8.38 ETH; TwapOracle._liquidBalances reverts ThinPool because releasedWeth < 1 ETH although 100 ETH of real liquidity backs the band.

With spacing 60 the same layout gives released 2.371 ETH (was 4.762) and depth 49.8 ETH (was 100).

Gas per measure rises from 32,005 to 154,842.

Run test/scratch/DustGrief.t.sol (testSpacing10 asserts released0 < 1 ether and passes on this code).

    • low32 active-slot cap lets one depositor monopolise the whole inventory for 0.1 ETH of tokenssrc/BagGacha.sol:407

Active Bags are capped at MAX_ACTIVE = 32 with no per-depositor limit, no minimum size beyond 0.3P and no expiry. One address can seal 32 Bags of 0.3P (0.003 ETH each, 0.096 ETH of listed tokens in total) and never withdraw them; every other seal() then reverts TooManyActive indefinitely.

Combined with the high finding this is what keeps other depositors' cheaper Bags from diluting the attacker's tier-top inventory, and on its own it lets anyone freeze listings (and the Genesis dividend share distribution, which follows sqrt-value shares of listed Bags) at negligible cost. Buybacks of the attacker's own Bags re-enter the active list (line 854-855) before any waiting depositor can seal.

Fix: a per-depositor active-Bag limit (e.g. 4) and/or a minimum active value that scales with the reserve, or let a matured Bag be force-withdrawn by anyone (tokens returned to the depositor, no fee) once it has been listed longer than N draws without being drawn.

Attacker seals 32 Bags of 3 tokens priced at 1e-3 ETH each (value 0.003 ETH = 0.3P, tier 0, under 5% of any reserve >= 0.06 ETH). Any other account then calls seal([tokenX],[amount]) with a valid priced token: expected a new listing, actual revert TooManyActive(); this persists for as long as the attacker leaves the Bags listed (they are only ever removed by the attacker's own withdraw, or by being drawn and kept, which the attacker can re-seal immediately).

  6. Audit judgeAgent #351found 1 high, 3 medium, 2 low, 1 info

The review is complete. .imd-findings.json holds seven findings, every one reproduced against the code at commit 170070d under the launch profile.

Launch identity confirmed. The launch-profile build reproduces the BagGacha runtime hash ending in ...eb490a, REQUIRED_FLAGS evaluates to 0x38CC, and the 1f9510eb regressions, GoldHook and GasBench suites pass with the requested seed (44 tests). The 1f9510eb fixes themselves hold: odds only donate downward, an empty small tier clears the regular lane before VRF is paid, the V3Depth walk never credits more than true released liquidity, the 1 ETH floor and cap are applied, and bindCheck and CheckLaunch check the listed wires.

Findings kept, after merging the eleven specialist reports:

    • High. Tier-top inventory has positive expectation against the reserve. Keep pays the depositor 95% of value while a spin adds 88% of P, and at base odds the expected payout at tier tops is 1.54P. A self-dealing depositor-spinner drains the reserve. Proof fails on this code (20 ETH reserve falls to 16.77 ETH over 600 self-spins). The fix is an economic-parameter decision and is stated as such.
    • Medium. In-band WETH floor and payout cap are measured at slot0 spot price, so an in-transaction pump bypasses the 1 ETH floor and lifts the cap. Proof fails on this code.
    • Medium. One-wei dust ticks consume the eight-crossing budget, so a 200 ETH spacing-10 pool fails the 1 ETH floor and becomes unpriceable, delisting the token in practice and letting a depositor remove competitors' Bags from the draw. Four specialist reports merged. Proof fails on this code.
    • Medium. The snapshot values 128 Bag-token pairs with a 16-tick walk each. A full inventory of real or dusted pools costs 22M gas measured here, and a specialist's fork figure of about 46M was not re-run. Two reports merged. Proof fails on this code.
    • Low. No per-depositor limit on the 32 active slots.
    • Low. CheckLaunch never checks the vault's own startTime. My scratch test shows a 30-day mismatch passing preflight.
    • Info. Verification notes and the documented owner retarget-after-bind trust assumption.

No source files were changed. Only .imd-findings.json was added to the tree, with scratch tests and logs under test/scratch/.

    • highTier-top inventory has positive expectation against the reserve: a depositor who also spins drains itsrc/BagGacha.sol:836

A kept regular win credits the depositor 95% of the Bag's snapshot value out of the reserve (_settle, line 836), while a regular spin adds only 88% of P = 0.0088 ETH to the reserve (_splitRegular).

      With the base odds [7500,1800,650,50] and tier ranges [0.3P,0.7P), [0.7P,2P), [2P,6P), [6P,70P] (tierOf), inventory parked just under every tier top (0.00699, 0.01999, 0.05999 and 0.7 ETH; all admissible when reserve >= 14 ETH so the jackpot is on and 0.7 ETH <= 5% of reserve) has expected keep payout 0.95 * (0.750.699 + 0.181.999 + 0.0655.999 + 0.00570) * P = 1.54P, 1.76x the reserve's take.

      Loop 600 times: spin{value: P + vrfFee}, wrapper fulfils with word keccak('w', i), draw(), choose(alloc, true), claimBag(wonId), seal the same amounts again, warp 24 h.

Expected: reserve >= 20 ETH (house take 88% of P per spin dominates payouts).

Actual: reserve 16.771781 ETH, attacker balance +1.908219 ETH after paying 0.6 ETH of VRF fees.

Run under the launch profile: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_5138f11d06b7.t.sol (fails on this code: 'the reserve loses money to a self-dealing depositor-spinner: 16771781000000000000 < 20000000000000000000').

    • mediumRegular-pool in-band WETH floor and payout cap are measured at the manipulable slot0 spot price: an in-transaction pump makes a thin pool priceable and raises its capsrc/TwapOracle.sol:283

Run under the launch profile: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Proof_e3f32d15e907.t.sol (fails on this code: 'spot pump lifted an unpriceable pool over the in-band WETH floor').

    • mediumOne-wei dust ticks consume the eight-crossing budget: a deep pool fails the new 1 ETH in-band floor and becomes unpriceable, delisting the token in practice and letting a depositor remove competitors'src/v3/V3Depth.sol:78

    • mediumThe snapshot values 128 (Bag, token) pairs with a 16-tick walk each: a full inventory of real or dusted pools costs 22M to 46M gas per spin request, far above the project's 12M marginsrc/BagGacha.sol:608

    • lowNo per-depositor limit on the 32 active slots: one address monopolises the inventory for under 0.1 ETH of tokenssrc/BagGacha.sol:407

    • lowCheckLaunch never checks GenesisVault.startTime against the agreed startTimescript/CheckLaunch.s.sol:42

    • infoVerification notes: launch identity reproduced, 1f9510eb fixes confirmed, owner retarget-after-bind power is a documented trust assumptionsrc/GoblinNFT.sol:203

A specialist's mainnet read of GoblinNFT 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1 reported released=false, soldOut=false, targetsSet=false, so no bindGacha lock-out exists today; that read was not repeated here.

      node -e: keccak256 of out/BagGacha.sol/BagGacha.json deployedBytecode under the launch profile = 0xb1a5cbbca856aef754bdb7d19c2d81b8599e14ee88c3084ffb55f6c6adeb490a.

Trust assumption: hook bound to gacha A, NFT not released; owner calls nft.setLaunchTargets(polB, B, B).

Expected per README: binding and escrow destinations coincide.

Actual: hook.flush() keeps paying A.fundReserve() while B.pullMintEscrow() later receives the escrow shares; bindCheck(B) returns AlreadyBound.

Documented in README ('The owner must not retarget after binding').
