Build Squeekscope, a static website: a daily hamster tarot reading for any Ethereum address, drawn from Squeektoshi's settled wheel work on Squeekchain (Ethereum Sepolia). Everything runs in the browser: no backend, no API keys, never a signature or a transaction. The only wallet call is an optional eth_requestAccounts that fills in the address field.

DATA (read-only, public):

  • GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/core gives the live SqueekCore proxy (identities.core) and its deployment block. Fallback if the API is down: 0x980b4424c007caf7a1f3670b48c8eaef7ebc3d44 from block 11998937.
  • Sepolia RPC https://ethereum-sepolia-rpc.publicnode.com (allows browser CORS). Read eth_getLogs for event RoundRecorded(uint64 indexed roundId, uint64 work, uint64 cumulativeWork, uint96 cumulativeBlockUnits, uint32 workPerThousandBlocks, bytes32 dataHash) from the deployment block in 45,000-block chunks, configuration() for genesisTimestamp and roundDuration, and state() for settledThroughRound. Refresh every 90 s. Reference: https://docs.squeekchain.com/llms-full.txt
  • GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status every 15 s for a small live mood panel (awake or asleep, rpm, km today). Mood only, it never changes a card.

DRAW RULES (exact, and shown on the page):

dayKey = UTC date YYYY-MM-DD. firstRound = floor((dayStart - genesisTimestamp) / roundDuration) + 1. anchor = the last round with work > 0 and roundId < firstRound (the genesis day borrows round 1). seed = keccak256(abi.encodePacked(bytes32 anchor.dataHash, address subject, string dayKey)). card = seed mod 22. reversed = the top bit of seed. luckyRound = firstRound + ((seed >> 64) mod 144). colour = (seed >> 128) mod 12, from 12 named colours. energy = total work in rounds firstRound-144 to firstRound-1. A card is provisional while settledThroughRound < firstRound - 1.

DECK: 22 cards, in this order: The Hamster, The Wheel, The Seed, The Burrow, The Night Shift, The Reporter, The Magnet, The Sprint, The Difficulty, The Postman, The Odometer, The Settlement, The Nap, The Empty Wheel, The Water Bottle, The Cheek Pouch, The Cage Door, The Guardian, The Midnight Lap, The Sunflower, The Block, The Hoard. Each card gets original SVG art, a one-line reading for upright and for reversed, and a short omen.

PAGES:

  1. Landing: with no address in the link, today's card for SqueekCore's own address (Squeektoshi's own card), read in full, then a Draw yours form (address, optional date).
  2. Reading, permalink /?a=0x...&d=YYYY-MM-DD: card art, name, way up, omen, lucky round, lucky colour, wheel energy, and a How this card was drawn panel listing the day, first round, anchor round, its dataHash, the settlement transaction linked on sepolia.etherscan.io, the subject, the seed and the arithmetic for every value.
  3. Week strip under the reading: the seven cards for the UTC days ending on the chosen day, each drawn by the same rule; days before 26 Oct 2026 lie face down.
  4. Pair reading with a second address (&b=0x...): distance = min(|a - b|, 22 - |a - b|), score = (11 - distance) * 8 + 12 if both cards are the same way up, shared round from keccak256 of the two seeds sorted low to high.
  5. Deck gallery at /?deck with all 22 cards and both readings.
  6. Save image exports a 1080x1350 PNG drawn in the browser (never uploaded). Post on X opens a tweet intent with the permalink.

LOOK: ivory card stock, black ink, oxblood and one flat gold; crisp type; works on phones. Footer: a fan project; Squeektoshi and Squeekchain belong to squeekchain.com.

  2. Build websiteAgent #34196 files changed

Built Squeekscope’s static export with 22 original SVG cards, daily/week/pair readings, full proofs, and PNG export.

Build, typecheck, 32 calculation/browser checks, and all 16 design checks passed. See README and validation.

26 October remains unavailable because the live history lacks round 1’s event. Safari is unverified.

Recorded the finding in [.imd-findings.json][findings]. Website files remain unchanged.

The bug appears at 390×844 in WebKit when mood is unavailable: “Draw my card” ends at 870.58px, below the viewport. Reducing the existing mobile intro spacing brought its bottom to 842.58px in browser testing. The finding includes the exact change and reproduction.

Chromium and WebKit both completed readings, pair calculations, navigation, wallet-address filling, and PNG exports. All 98 bundled round records independently matched Sepolia logs. Round 1 has no recorded event, so the genesis-day requirements need a requester decision rather than invented evidence.

    • mediumbug: WebKit pushes the draw button label below the first phone screen when mood is unavailablesrc/style.css:1172

Now: At 390 × 844 in WebKit, an unavailable mood adds a second line above the reading and places Draw my card at y=823.58–870.58; the label is below the viewport even though settled readings remain usable.

Change to: In the existing max-width: 40rem rule, change .page-intro to padding-block: 8px 0 and gap: 8px. This preserves all content and moves the complete button to y=795.58–842.58 in the same state.

Why: The review requires the product and its main action on the first 390px screen. A mood-only service failure should not push the working draw action out of view.

      Viewport 390 × 844, WebKit, UTC date 2026-10-30.

Serve the existing dist export at the origin root.

Make GET https://api.squeekchain.com/v1/status return HTTP 503 while leaving core/RPC and the genuine bundled snapshot available; open /.

Wait for #card-name and document.fonts.ready, and stay at scrollY=0.

The page shows The Night Shift and Wheel mood unavailable. document.querySelector(".form-bottom button").getBoundingClientRect() returns top 823.578125, height 47, bottom 870.578125, exceeding innerHeight 844 by 26.578125px; the screenshot cuts off the button label.

With fresh IDLE mood the same button ends at 841.578125.

      Injecting only @media(max-width:40rem){.page-intro{padding-block:8px 0;gap:8px}} makes the unavailable-state bottom 842.578125.

Chromium also overflows the same unavailable-state screen slightly (bottom 845.390625), so the fix should be checked in both engines.
