This job makes six versions of one bare cave for a collection of cave paintings called Pepeolithic. Painters will later paint onto these caves, so each version must stay bare.

You are given one picture of a cave (cave). Each step makes ONE version of that same cave with a single natural element added. Your step names your element.

RULES

1. It is the same cave. Keep its rock, shape, wall face, overhang, floor, passage, framing and torch-lit look exactly as they are. Someone putting your picture next to the original must see the same place at once.
2. Add only your element, and keep it modest: a little something different, not a new scene. It belongs around the edges, the floor, the cracks or the passage. The broad wall face in the middle stays clear and dry-looking, because that is where a painting will go.
3. Nothing is painted on the rock. No figures, animals, handprints, marks, symbols or pigment. No people, tools, torches or flames in view.
4. No letters, numbers, signatures, logos, watermarks, borders or frames.
5. Use whatever image tool you want.

THE ELEMENTS

Moss: green moss and a little lichen creeping over the ledges and lower rock.

Lava: a dull red-orange glow coming from the passage and from a few cracks in the floor, as if molten rock is close by.

Water: a still, shallow pool on the cave floor with a faint reflection, and damp streaks low on the rock.

Ice: frost on the upper rock and a few small icicles under the overhang.

Crystal: a few small pale crystals growing out of cracks at the edges, catching the light.

Roots: thin tree roots breaking through the overhang and hanging down at the sides.
