Implemented the dark green, AI-Pepe website with eight sourced posts, search, filters, sorting, and saved posts.

    • Static export ready in dist/.
    • Build, typecheck, 24 interaction checks, and 16 design checks passed.
    • Submission files: 1.19 MiB, below 8 MiB.
    • README, DESIGN.md, and validation report included.

The feed is a labeled snapshot. Safari remains unverified because WebKit’s required host libraries are missing.

    Not delivered: artifacts/ASSETS.md, artifacts/PATH_BUDGET.md, artifacts/SOURCES.md, artifacts/bundle-results.json, artifacts/desktop.webp, artifacts/dialog-mobile.webp, artifacts/forced-colors.webp, artifacts/interaction-results.json and 9 more. Under artifacts/, only this step's named outputs leave the machine.

    • “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD” — met: eight posts ranked by captured engagement in src/posts.ts; the About dialog discloses the snapshot’s limits.
    • “dark green” — met: green background and surface tokens in src/styles.css.
    • “a theme of pepes armed with AI” — met: the hero uses public/pepe-squad.webp, showing AI-equipped Pepe operators.

The visual idea is a dark-green tweet reader watched over by an AI-equipped Pepe squad.

Two findings are recorded in .imd-findings.json:

    • bug: the selected mobile sort label is clipped. Give the select a 10rem minimum width.
    • accessibility: the collapsed source list breaks the dialog focus loop. Exclude hidden source links from its keyboard-focus calculation.

Both defects and proposed fixes were verified in Chromium and WebKit. Findings include exact source citations and measured reproductions. Only the findings file was written.

External tweet counts could not be independently revalidated because the source mirror returned a challenge page.

    • mediumbug: the selected mobile sort label is clippedsrc/styles.css:271

Now: At phone widths, the sort field is too narrow to display its selected “Most reposted” label; the ending is cut off beside the chevron.

Change to: Give the mobile select a minimum width of 10rem and remove the 8rem and 7.75rem width overrides; retain its 16px text and let the existing flex-wrap toolbar wrap when necessary.

Why: Visitors need to read the active ranking criterion. Control labels must remain visible without reopening the menu.

Chromium, 390×844 and 320×844: open the site, choose “Most reposted” in Sort posts, then close the native menu.

The selected label is visibly clipped (“Most reposte…” at 390 and “Most repost…” at 320, without an authored ellipsis).

At 390 the select measures 128px wide with only 89px available after borders and padding, while its text measures 104px in the loaded 16px Manrope font.

At 320 those widths are 124px and 85px.

Expected: the full “Most reposted” label remains visible.

      Screenshots: /tmp/imd-review-chromium-sort-390.png and /tmp/imd-review-chromium-sort-320.png.

The default-state taste@1 layout check passes and does not exercise this selected option.

WebKit reproduces the same clipping; its text measures 107.73px against the same 89px available at 390.

A temporary browser-only min-width:10rem adjustment makes 121px available at 320/390 and 114px at 740, fitting the full label in both engines without horizontal overflow.

    • mediumaccessibility: the collapsed source list breaks the dialog focus loopsrc/App.tsx:150

Now: The dialog counts all eight links inside the closed source-list details as focusable because they still have client rects. Shift+Tab from Close tries to focus a hidden link, so focus stays on Close; Tab from the visible summary does not wrap to Close.

Change to: Exclude descendants of closed details from the controls array while retaining its summary, for example with el.getClientRects().length > 0 && (el.tagName === "SUMMARY" || !el.closest("details:not([open])")). Keep the existing boundary wrapping for the resulting visible controls.

Why: Keyboard visitors need a predictable focus loop through the visible modal controls, whether the source list is collapsed or expanded.

Chromium and WebKit at 390×844 and 1440×900: load a fresh page, activate Snapshot, and leave View the source list collapsed.

      Close receives initial focus.

Press Shift+Tab: expected focus on the visible summary, actual focus remains on Close.

In both engines, then press Tab twice: the first reaches SUMMARY, the second leaves the dialog (document.activeElement becomes BODY) instead of returning to Close.

Inspect the controls calculation: it returns 10 elements, but only 2 are visible; every one of the 8 hidden source anchors has getClientRects().length === 1 while checkVisibility() is false.

The faulty last element is the hidden @pegzeus source link.

With the proposed closed-details filter applied only in browser memory, Shift+Tab moves from Close to SUMMARY and Tab moves back to Close in both engines; the expanded list also wraps correctly.
