  2. Build websiteAgent #94645 files changed

Built Swamp with AI Pepe artwork, 12 sourced posts, search, filters, sorting, bookmarks, and link sharing.

Static export, source, lockfile, and documentation are included. Build and typecheck pass, alongside 54 interaction checks and 16/16 design checks. Payload: 2.8 MiB.

Posts are a labeled snapshot. Safari remains unverified because WebKit lacks native libraries.

  3. Design criticAgent #52found 2 medium, 3 low

I reviewed the site and wrote 5 findings to .imd-findings.json: 2 medium, 3 low, no high. Nothing in the repository was changed. The probe's screenshots and the test/ folder I created for them are deleted, and the git tree is clean.

    AreaCount
    Brief requirements4 total: 4 met, 0 missing, 0 faked
    Broken features0

    taste@1 checks passed16 / 16
    Copy findings1 (too many slogans)
Share cardpresent: title, favicon, og:title, og:image 1200×630, twitter card

How I checked: the probe (taste.mjs) ran in Chromium at 320, 390 and 1440 wide. I then used the site in Chromium at 390 and 320: save and unsave, the Saved view, a search with no results, ranking by replies (posts with no captured count sort last), the copy-link fallback dialog, and the About dialog. There were no script errors and no horizontal scroll at 320. I did not test WebKit (Safari): the browser download stalled, so I used the Chromium already on the machine.

    Requirements

    • "showing the top tweets": met, with a caveat. src/posts.json has 12 posts ranked by captured likes, reposts or replies. The page says it is a dated snapshot ("Oct 25, 2026 snapshot" button, About dialog), so it doesn't pretend to be live. But 10 of the 12 cards show a summary rather than the tweet's own words (finding 1).
    • "about identity MD": met. Every post in src/posts.json is about IMD, and each links to its original on X.
    • "dark green": met. The page background is near-black green (#0b1510) with lime accents (src/styles.css).
    • "a theme of pepes armed with AI": met. The hero image (public/art/ai-pepe-squad.webp) shows armed Pepes with a brain canister, a laptop and a drone, and the favicon is a Pepe.

The idea in one sentence: Swamp is a dated, sourced reader of identity.md tweets, carried by one image of armed AI Pepes on dark green. Keep the art and the lime highlight on "talking."; cut the extra slogans around them.

    Findings

    1. Medium, fidelity: 10 of the 12 cards show the builder's summary of a tweet ("Adam shares how…"), not the tweet itself. Fix: quote each post's own words and mark it as an excerpt (src/posts.json:7).
    2. Medium, taste: five slogans are stacked around the feed: "Human voices. Agent energy.", "Armed with intelligence.", "Built around the builders.", "A little weird. Very much the internet." and "There's always more in the swamp." Fix: delete all five and keep "The swamp is talking." as the only slogan (src/App.tsx:531).
    3. Low, taste: the sidebar's "In the conversation" buttons do the same thing as the topic filters above the feed, and four separate controls open the About dialog (src/App.tsx:785).
    4. Low, taste: the Saved tab always shows a count, even "0", while the header's Saved link hides it at zero (src/App.tsx:592).
    5. Low, taste: the rank numbers ("01" to "12") are hidden on phone widths, so the "top" order isn't visible there (src/styles.css:1433).

    • mediumfidelity: 10 of the 12 cards show the builder's summary of a tweet, not the tweetsrc/posts.json:7

Now: 10 of the 12 entries in src/posts.json have kind "summary". Their text is a third-person paraphrase ("Adam shares how IMD is recovering...", "Collectible reflects on...", "KEEL announces...") under a "Post summary" label (src/App.tsx:113). Only @taylor_ ("imd.fun is alive") and @lavinzco ("gud tech $IMD") show the author's own words.

Change to: for each of the 10 summaries, put the post's own opening sentence (or the whole post if under about 280 characters) in text and set kind to "excerpt", using the same mirrors listed in sourceProfile. Keep "Read post" for the rest. Where a post cannot be quoted, keep the summary label it already has.

Why: the brief asks for "A website showing the top tweets about identity MD". A feed of paraphrases reads as the builder's newsletter, not the tweets, and the honest label does not change that.

      Width 390 (any width).

Steps: open dist/index.html and read the cards in Top tweets order.

      Evidence: node -e 'const p=require("./src/posts.json");console.log(p.filter(x=>x.kind==="summary").length+"/"+p.length)' prints 10/12.

On the 390 screenshot the first card reads "Adam shares how IMD is recovering from a domain outage..." with "Post summary" under it.

    • mediumtaste: five voice lines stack around the feed (hero tagline, art caption, three sidebar or footer sign-offs)src/App.tsx:531

Now: besides the headline "The swamp is talking." and its plain line, the page adds "Human voices. Agent energy." (App.tsx:531), "Armed with intelligence." over the hero art (App.tsx:544), "Built around the builders." (App.tsx:781), "A little weird. / Very much the internet." (App.tsx:833-835) and "There's always more in the swamp." under "You're all caught up." (App.tsx:745). None of them tells a reader anything.

Change to: delete the .hero-bottom div (App.tsx:529-532), the .hero-caption div (App.tsx:542-545), the .briefing-footer div (App.tsx:777-782), the .sidebar-signoff div (App.tsx:830-837) and the <span> at App.tsx:745. The hero text block then centres vertically on the art with "Top tweets from the identity.md universe." as its last line. The briefing card ends at "Meet identity.md". The end-of-feed block reads "You're all caught up." then "Continue on X". Keep "The swamp is talking." as the only slogan.

Why: the bar allows one voice line, the headline; four or more slogans is a stack. The pepe art already carries the "armed with AI" theme the brief asked for, so a caption saying it adds nothing.

      Width 1440.

Steps: load dist/index.html and scroll to the end.

Evidence: the taste@1 slogans check lists two two-beat lines ("Human voices.

Agent energy." in div.hero-bottom, "A little weird.

Very much the internet." in div.sidebar-signoff).

The 1440 screenshot also shows "Armed with intelligence." pinned over the art at the hero's lower right and "Built around the builders." at the foot of the briefing card.

All five strings are in src/App.tsx at the lines cited.

    • lowtaste: the sidebar's "In the conversation" list repeats the topic filter chipssrc/App.tsx:785

Now: the sidebar section (App.tsx:784-815) has three buttons ("01 AI agents", "02 Building", "03 Community"). Each sets the same topic as the chips above the feed (App.tsx:636-648). At 390 the sidebar starts below all 12 cards (y=3829), so the duplicate shows up after the reader has already used the chips. Four controls also open the same About dialog: nav "About" or the info icon, the snapshot button, "How this feed works" and footer "Sources & about".

Change to: delete the .conversation section (App.tsx:784-815) so "Good signal needs context." moves up under the briefing card. Delete the .source-note button "How this feed works" (App.tsx:825-828) because the snapshot button sits right next to the feed it explains.

Why: a control that does what another control on the same screen already does is noise. The filters belong above the list they change.

      Width 1440 and 390.

Steps: click "02 Building" in the sidebar, then the "Building" chip.

Evidence: both set topic=Building and show the same filtered list.

At 390, .sidebar has a bounding box at y=3829 of a 4872px document, measured in Chromium.

    • lowtaste: the Saved tab always shows a count badge, even "0"src/App.tsx:592

Now: on a first visit the toolbar tab reads "Saved 0" on the first screen. The header's Saved link (App.tsx:495-497) shows its count only when it is above 0.

      Change to: {savedState.ids.length > 0 && (<span className="tab-count">{savedState.ids.length}</span>)}, the same rule as the header.

Why: the same count follows two rules in two places, and a 0 badge is noise beside "Top tweets" and "Latest".

      Width 390.

Steps: load in a fresh profile with empty localStorage.

Evidence: the 390 screenshot shows "Saved 0" in the view tabs at y=363 while the header shows "Saved" with no count.

After one save both show 1.

    • lowtaste: the rank number is hidden at phone widths, so "Top tweets" loses its ordersrc/styles.css:1433

Now: at 1440 each card shows its position ("01") beside the X mark. The mobile media query sets .post-rank { display: none; } (styles.css:1433-1434), so at 390 the ranked list has no visible rank.

Change to: delete that rule so "01" to "12" stays left of the X icon, which has space (the X icon is at the far right with about 150px of free space after the handle and date).

Why: the brief is "top tweets", and the rank is the one piece of data that shows "top" on the card.

      Width 390.

Steps: load and look at the first card head.

Evidence: getComputedStyle(.post-rank).display is "none" at 390 in Chromium.

The 1440 screenshot shows "01" and the 390 screenshot shows none.
