I found two low-severity defects, both confirmed by reproduction, and wrote them to
.imd-findings.json. Neither carries a Foundry proof: proofs are only required for critical or high findings, and both defects are in the TypeScript Worker. I reproduced them withnode --testagainst a throwaway copy ofworld-sourcein/tmp, with dependencies installed there and install scripts disabled. Nothing in the repository was modified.Findings
1. The R3 clock fix only covers the legacy route (low). Location:
world-source/server/world-gold-api.ts:47./api/me/economynow refuses a clock that moves backward mid-request with a 503. The newer private reads only check the clock against the request's start time, not the last time they already accepted. So a backward step during the database read still lets them return private data.- Same harness:
/api/me/economyreturns 503 with no data./api/me/goldreturns 200 withwallet,book,reserved,available,asOfandhistory. - The harness's clock advances to
NOW+59999during rate limiting, one millisecond before the session expires atNOW+60000. It then drops back toNOW+10during the GOLD read. - I traced the same weaker check in
world-gold-report.ts:110,aimarket-campaign.ts:92-93andmember-balances.ts:70-71; I only ran the reproduction on/api/me/gold. - Fix: carry the last accepted clock sample forward, require every later sample (including the one compared against session expiry) to be at least that value, and return 503 otherwise, as
economy.tsdoes.
2. Payment isn't limited to products the installed provider supports; quoting is (low). Location:
world-source/server/economy-ledger.ts:217.- The quote endpoint checks the provider's product list. The challenge and payment checks only ask whether any provider exists and whether the product is
researchorfortune. - Reproduction: create a fortune product and a pending fortune order, then pay it while only the research adapter is installed. The book goes from 10 to 9. The job stays
queued, because R1's new SQL filter means no provider ever picks it up. The adminrefund-servicerepair is rejected because the job never reachesfailed. - Precondition: the order must have been quoted while a fortune-capable provider was wired in, at most 15 minutes before payment. That's why likelihood is low.
- Fix: pass the provider's product list into challenge and payment admission, and reject an unsupported product before any debit.
Checked, no defect found
- R1 delivery paging: product filtering happens in SQL before
LIMIT 16, with bound parameters. An empty product list claims nothing. Lease expiry treats equality the same way when claiming and finishing a job. Retries keep the order id as the idempotency key. Charges stay unchanged and onlyfailedjobs are refunded. - R2 report reads: the size bound applies to
readonly, delivery summaries keep their 16,000-byte limit, the stream is cancelled when the bound is exceeded, the 10-second timeout and response HMAC are kept, and order, wallet, reference and canonical hash are all checked. - Session checks on writes: writes recheck the live session inside the SQL statement itself (economy ledger, GOLD quote and admin actions, inventory, AIMarket bridge codes and tokens).
- M1: both unlinked legacy currencies are refused in shared mode.
- Admin wallets: the three admin wallets can set prices, pause features and repair orders. The release docs describe this as intended, so I treated it as a trust assumption rather than a finding.
Not covered in depth
- Mint hold expiry, recovery/crash replay and capacity accounting: only a surface look.
- The Solidity contracts: no pass, since this release leaves them unchanged.
- Native D1/Miniflare tests and the dependency advisory scan: not run.

The review is complete. The findings file is valid, holds three substantiated findings, and the working tree contains nothing beyond it (it is excluded by the repository's own ignore rules). All scratch tests ran in a copy under
/tmp, so nothing was added to the repository.Outcome for the three reproduced fixes
- R1 delivery paging holds up. The product filter is bound as SQL parameters, the page stays at 16, claim and finish use the same lease equality, claimed jobs rotate to the back of the page, and the shipped regression tests pass in a clean install. I found no new charge, deleted right, or invented refund on either the starved or the later-resumed path.
- R2 read bound holds up for the real Python serializer. With a 900,000-byte document the worst case is the document plus a doubly escaped canonical copy plus a small envelope, which stays under the new limit. HMAC, order, wallet, reference, and canonical-hash checks are unchanged.
- R3 legacy read is fixed as described, and the shipped logout, expiry, and backward-clock tests pass.
Defects found
- Low. The newer private reads do not match the R3 boundary. In
world-source/server/world-gold-api.ts:47andworld-source/server/member-balances.ts:70the post-I/O clock sample is only required to be at or after route start, not after the sample that authorised the read. A clock regression into that window during the snapshot or chain reads returns the private balance view with 200. The legacy route returns 503 for the identical clock sequence. Both cases were reproduced with a scratch test. - Info. In
world-source/server/world-gold.ts:197the product branch of the admin command never reads the provider-support flag the API computes. An owner can create an enabledfortuneservice product with no installed provider. It is published to every signed-in wallet with a price, every quote for it fails, and the row is immutable. No GOLD moves.
Not covered in depth because of time: the recovery planner, the Python holder-auth flow beyond a read, and the contracts and Mint packages, which the packet says are byte-bound to the prior audited version. None of the findings carries a Foundry proof, since none is in Solidity and none is critical or high.

/api/me/balances post-I/O revalidation accepts a backward clock during chain/D1 reads and returns the private balance viewworld-source/server/member-balances.ts:70
Same asynchronous-boundary gap as the GOLD route: the post-I/O sample freshAt is only required to be >= started (the sample taken before the first readSession), not >= the sample that authorised the read.
A regression into [started, firstSessionClock) after the Promise.all of chain and D1 reads passes freshAt<started, readSession(freshAt) still sees the session as live, fresh.expiresAt<=clock() uses the regressed clock, and the completed wallet view (embeo, staked, gold) is returned with 200. The legacy /api/me/economy route returns 503 for this state after R3.
Fix: capture the clock sample used for the first readSession and require freshAt and the final sample to be >= it; return 503 BALANCE_UNAVAILABLE on regression.
Admin product creation ignores the provider-support guard computed by the API, so an enabled service product without any installed provider is created and publishedworld-source/server/world-gold.ts:197

The review is complete and
.imd-findings.jsonholds two substantiated findings. No repository files were changed. What I checked
The three reproduced fixes (R1 delivery paging, R2 report read bound, R3 legacy session revalidation) hold up on commit 1015b2c5. I read the ledger, shared-GOLD module, schema triggers from migrations 0014 to 0016, rewards, member balances, campaign, inventory, report route, worker wiring and the Python VPS adapter, and ran the nine new regression tests plus my own probes on a copy of the tree with Node 24. R1's SQL binds every product parameter, orders by update time so pending jobs rotate rather than starve, and lease equality is consistent between claim and finish. R2's bound of 2,716,000 bytes is sound against the Python serializer: the document is capped at 900,000 bytes and the re-escaped canonical string can at most double, with room for the envelope. R3 revalidates token, address and expiry and returns no private fields on 401 or 503. The prior M1, M2, L1 and I1 remediations are in place.
Findings
- Medium, economy-ledger.ts line 217. The legacy challenge and pay route takes a global "some provider exists" flag, while the quote route checks readiness per product. A pending fortune quote is refused for re-quote once only research is connected, but the same quote can still be challenged, signed and debited. R1's filter then guarantees no provider ever claims the job, and both refund paths reject it. The wallet pays GOLD for a service that cannot be delivered or refunded. Precondition is a still-pending quote for a product outside the connected provider list, so impact is bounded by the fifteen-minute quote window and a provider transition. Fix is to pass the provider product list into shared service admission.
- Low, world-gold-report.ts line 15. The report read-back route accepts any unrevoked, unexpired session. Every sibling private read also requires an ECDSA or ERC-1271 verification method and pins expiry equality on revalidation. A session row with null verification method gets 401 on the balance read but 200 with the full document on the report route.

One low-severity finding, no critical, high or medium defects in the math, boundary and numerical-gap passes. No Solidity finding reached a severity that calls for a Foundry proof, so none was written.
- Low,
world-source/server/world-gold-api.ts:70. The reconcile route is the only ledger write without an in-batch live-session predicate or post-write revalidation. Reproduced: a session revoked between the fresh read and the batch still commits the topup credit and gets 200{ok:true}. The identical revocation on the quote route returns 503 with no order row. Harm is bounded because the credit is one the paid order is owed anyway and the response carries no private data. Fix is to bindauthCheckinto the reconcile batch or revalidate and return 401 afterwards.
What was checked and held
- R1 delivery paging. Sixteen paid fortune jobs then one research job: the research-only provider delivers the research job on the first page, the sixteen stay queued, and a later fortune provider finishes all sixteen with no new charge, deleted right or extra refund. Lease equality is consistent: a reclaim at exactly
lease_mssucceeds and the original attempt finishing at that instant isSTALE_DELIVERY. - R2 read bound. Through the real Python serializer, a 900,000-byte document made entirely of quote or backslash characters produces a 2,700,135-byte read response against the 2,716,000 cap. Newline, control, ASCII and CJK fills are smaller. The 2x escaping bound is exact, with ~15.9 KB of headroom.
- R3 and asynchronous boundaries. Legacy economy, GOLD, balances, inventory, campaign and report reads all revalidate the same token, address and expiry after I/O; sessions never slide, so the expiry-equality check cannot misfire. Quote, admin, legacy order/challenge/pay and inventory writes all carry SQL-level session predicates. Only reconcile does not.
- Ledger arithmetic. Book minus held is enforced by trigger on every balance update, credit capacity is guarded before int64 addition on both journals, partial topup credits and refunds sum exactly to the link amount via the reference encoding, mint hold and release use strict deadline comparisons that match the contract's
<=check, and all large integers cross the SQLite/JS boundary as decimal text. - Settlement. Half-open UTC day
[day, end)is applied consistently in the SQL page query, the closed-lot branch, and the recovery replay. Text ordering ofposition_idis used consistently on both sides of the cursor, so pages visit each lot once. Carry and look-ahead logic resumes correctly across position and wallet budgets. - Contracts. The EMBEO fixture ABI has no burn or mint, so the
TokenChangedsupply equality cannot brick the vault. Share and payment arithmetic is checked, position accounting is exact, and the Mint candidate's supply, eligibility and token-id math are consistent. The candidate is pinned to chain id 31337.

The review is complete. The findings file at the repository root holds five findings, each reproduced against commit 1015b2c5 with node:test in an isolated copy of world-source installed from its exact lock. The repository tree itself is untouched.
What I kept, after reproducing the eight specialist claims and merging duplicates
- Medium, economy-ledger.ts line 217. The legacy challenge/pay routes admit a service payment using only the global provider boolean, while the quote route is product-scoped. With the production research-only wiring, a pending fortune quote was challenged, signed and debited (book 10 to 9), creating a queued job the R1 paging never selects, with refundGold and the admin refund both refusing. Merged from the permissions and economics specialists. The precondition is a provider or product transition within a quote's 15-minute window, which I state in the finding.
- Low, world-gold-api.ts line 47. The post-I/O clock check on the new private reads only bounds against route start, not the last accepted sample. With the sequence NOW, NOW, NOW+10 then NOW+5, the legacy economy read answers 503 while /api/me/gold and /api/me/balances answer 200 with the private view. Merged from three specialist findings. I note honestly that an expired session cannot slip through this gap; it is a parity defect against the R3 contract.
- Low, world-gold-api.ts line 70. The reconcile route is the only ledger write without an in-batch session predicate. Revoking the session right after the fresh read still produced a committed topup credit (book 10 to 20) and a 200.
- Low, world-gold-report.ts line 15. The report read-back accepts a session with NULL verification method that /api/me/gold refuses with 401, and skips the expiry-equality revalidation the other reads use.
- Info, world-gold.ts line 197. The admin product branch ignores the per-product readiness guard the API computes, so an owner can publish an enabled fortune service product whose quote always answers 503.
What I checked independently and found sound
- R1 paging: product filter is bound as parameters before LIMIT 16, and lease expiry uses matching equalities on claim and finish. The existing resilience suite passes.
- R2 size bound: the Python serializer uses ensure_ascii=False, so the worst case is a backslash-heavy document, which stays under the 2,716,000-byte cap. The delivery suite passes.
- The audit7 M1/M2/L1/I1 regressions all pass on this tree.
Not done
No critical or high finding emerged, so no Foundry proof was attached. The Solidity contracts, inventory CAS, campaign and Mint hold paths were covered only by the existing suites I ran, not by fresh adversarial tests of my own, given the time budget.
