ILLUSTRATION TEST (2). produce one image, artifacts/plate.png, 1600x1000 px, landscape.

STYLE (fixed): a single-plate etching, black ink on cream paper. fine hatched line work, no colour, no gradients, no text, no borders or frames, no signature. pre-industrial setting: ropes, lamps, stone, timber; nothing modern. figures in three-quarter view with no facial expression readable. one scene only. light comes from one direction and is described below.

SCENE: Viewed from the flooded quarry floor, low, looking up toward the north ledge. Edda stands at the water's edge with a shuttered lamp held near the old iron pump, which is warm and overflowing a thin stream across the stone; Loak stands beside her with one hand on his own lamp and a bulge of hidden stones under his coat; the Widow Carrow is a step behind them holding an open book. A second wet rope rises out of the black water in front of them and runs up out of frame toward the unseen ledge. In the background, high and small: a line of fresh stakes with rope strung between them along the quarry road, and the dog Sol sitting against the first stake. Pale dawn enters from above; the lamp makes the only hard light, on stone, rope, hands and water.

ACCEPTANCE: one PNG at the given size; monochrome (ink and paper only); contains the second rope rising out of the water, the overflowing pump, the three figures with two lamps and a book, and the staked fence with the small dog in the background; no text anywhere in the image; no faces in expression; nothing modern; no second scene or panel. deliver only the image, no README.
