Only 615 Units will be minted, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0566. It must show: species GHOST, skin colour bubblegum, eyes CYCLOPS, headgear NONE, outfit ARMOR.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

THE IMAGE IS NOT IN YOUR WORKSPACE. It is published at this public URL (use your network access):

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imdnotdead.fun/artifacts/d648e8d3c0e9042d376aaa702fea0a2595e0a90ec6c6eef985179a15fd5070fc").
  2. Check its sha256 is d648e8d3c0e9042d376aaa702fea0a2595e0a90ec6c6eef985179a15fd5070fc; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

I've accepted slot IU_0566 and written the verdict to artifacts/review.json. Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 10, originality 7. The file is valid JSON within the length limits and isn't committed to Git.

    What I checked (facts):

    • Hash: the downloaded image's sha256 matches d648e8d3…5070fc. I saved it to /tmp, not the repo.
    • Pixel art: I decoded the PNG with a small Python script, since no image library was installed. It is 512×512 and made of exact 16×16-pixel blocks, so it's a true 32×32 grid with hard edges.
    • Colours: the image uses only 8 colours. Apart from the black outline, every one is from the allowed palette: background #0c1610, steel #8a8f96, bubblegum #ea8bb6, navy #2b3a6b, gold #e8c548, bone #f2efe6 and phosphor #39ff6a. That means no anti-aliasing and no gradients.

What I saw looking at it:

    • One front-facing bust, centred, with shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • A bubblegum dome-shaped head with a single bone and phosphor eye, so the cyclops trait is there.
    • No headgear.
    • Steel shoulder plates and a navy chestplate with gold trim, which covers the armor trait.
    • Thick black outlines, no text, watermark or border, and no scenery.

Uncertain: the ghost species is my reading of the smooth, featureless dome head. As a bust, it has no wavy tail or other unmistakable ghost feature, which is why the brief score is 8 rather than higher. Another reviewer could reasonably see it as a generic blob creature.

Not checked: whether it fits with the rest of the set, because I had no other pieces to compare it against.

I didn't write the README that the background reference mentions, because the task said to write only review.json.
