uint16 pts is declared before the replacement branch of _record and assigned only inside it. When the new plea's points do not beat the wallet's lowest counted plea (fewer points, or equal points with a higher plea id), the branch is skipped, recorded[pleaId] is still set, and the event carries points == 0 as the wallet's season total.
Stored state (_best, _top) is untouched and correct; an indexer or the site's leaderboard reading Recorded.points as 'the wallet's points after this record' sees the wallet drop to 0. Display only.
Fix: initialise pts to b[0] + b[1] + b[2] before the branch (or document that the field is zero when nothing changed).
4.infoThe judges' question prints 'sell 0 PLEA' for a plea below one PLEA (a small holder's 1% minimum is under one token) (audit_flow aa2787d6)src/CabalGate.sol:679
Strings.toString(uint256(p.amount) / 1e18),
_question prints the plea amount as whole PLEA with integer division. _checkAmount accepts any amount of at least 1% of the balance, so a holder of fewer than 100 PLEA (a tiny buy, a small airdrop leaf, a prize share) may plead 0.5 to 0.99 PLEA and the panel of 30 reads 'sell 0 PLEA'; the Tribunal quotes this question verbatim for objections.
Display only: the sale, the fact score and the points use p.amount exactly.
Fix: print one or two decimals, or 'less than 1 PLEA'.
Fixture: dave buys 3e14 wei of IMD (about 50 PLEA at the 5,700 IMD market cap), then vm.prank(dave); gate.submitSell(0.9e18, 'a tiny plea') is accepted (1% of 50 PLEA is 0.5 PLEA). gate.question(id) contains ': sell 0 PLEA.'
(checked with vm.contains).
Expected: an amount the judges can read, e.g. 0.9 PLEA.

5.infoFact-score band edges are floor-rounded: shares in [15%, 15.01%) and [30%, 30.01%) and gains in [50%, 51%) and [200%, 201%) score the better band (audit_math 7c81b0d9)src/CabalGate.sol:261
score = shareBps <= 1_500 ? 16 : shareBps <= 3_000 ? 9 : 3;
shareBps = amount * 10_000 / bal truncates, so any share in [15%, 15.01%) is 1500 bps and scores 16 rather than 9 (likewise 30%); gainPct = (value - spent) * 100 / spent truncates, so a gain in [50%, 51%) scores 8 instead of 3 and [200%, 201%) scores 3 instead of 0.
The slack is one basis point of the balance and one percentage point of gain, inside the panel's noise and the table's 'at most 15%' intent, so no realistic effect on the need; noted because the agreed table is stated with exact edges. If exact edges are wanted compare without division: amount * 10_000 <= bal * 1_500 and (value - spent) * 100 <= spent * 50.
Fixture: alice holds bal PLEA. gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1500 / 10_000) == gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1500 / 10_000 + bal / 20_000) (about 15.005% of the balance) and both are 7 points above gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1501 / 10_000 + 1).
Expected under a strict '<= 15%' edge: the 15.005% plea scores the 9-point band.
Reproduced in test/scratch/A1Judge.t.sol test_factScoreShareBoundary.
6.infoSeasons.pointsFor truncates scores above 213 for a seat holder (view only; _record never passes more than 45) (audit_permissions 4e05f9b1)src/Seasons.sol:132
return holdsSeat(wallet) ? uint8(uint256(score) * SEAT_MULTIPLIER_BPS / 10_000) : score;
pointsFor(wallet, score) is public and takes any uint8; for a seat holder the product is cast to uint8 without a bound, so a score above 213 wraps (214 -> 256 -> 0, 255 -> 306 -> 50). No on-chain path is affected: _record only passes the judged score (0-45, capped by ScoreOutOfRange in the gate and the Tribunal), so recorded points stay in 0-54 per plea and 162 for three, and the uint8/uint16 bounds hold.
Display-only; a
require(score <= MAX)or a uint16 return would make the view total.Fixture: seat.mint(alice). seasons.pointsFor(alice, 214) returns 0 (expected 256 or a revert); seasons.pointsFor(alice, 255) returns 50 (expected 306); seasons.pointsFor(bob, 255) with no seat returns 255. The working tree is clean apart from the findings file (ignored by git, as the harness expects) and the build caches. The JSON is valid with one entry. Nothing else was written, so no cleanup is needed.
Outcome. Area A1 (CabalGate, Tribunal, Seasons, OracleAttestation, IPleaParts) came out clean of any Critical, High, Medium or Low defect. The findings file holds one Info item.
What I checked. I read all five in-scope files in full, followed the calls into PLEA's transfer rule, the hook's basis, checkpoint, trader resolution and fee paths, PleaLaunch's Tribunal deployment, and the mock Intake. The build and seven test groups pass:
Suites run Result Gate, Tribunal, TribunalSeasons, AppealRounding, SeatMultiplier, OracleReplay, GasPass 117 passed, 0 failed Invariants traced (THREAT-MODEL section 2). Invariants 1 through 13 all hold on this commit:
- Verdict path (4, 6). A callback is accepted only from the Intake, for a mapped request id, while Pending, inside 20 minutes and while the Cabal lives. The oracle UUID is consumed and the intake id mapping deleted, so a second answer, a replay or a wrong id fails. A failure clears only the mapped pending plea and moves nothing. A late answer cannot revive the Cabal. The gate and the Tribunal use separate EIP-712 domains, so no cross-replay.
- Sale (1, 2). PLEA reaches the PoolManager only from the gate or the hook, and the gate only pulls inside an approved sale. The sale is the exact approved amount, once, inside 7 minutes. The Letterbox-only entry points check the registered Letterbox and the auto-sell flag.
- Fact score (3). The table, pass mark 71, hourly checkpoints, lesser-share rule, hold time, P&L, trend bands and the 1% / 50% / 2.5M bounds match the agreed numbers. No agreed number changed.
- Cooldowns and appeals (5). At most one plea per 4 hours except the single appeal, which cannot stack with a sale or a lapse of another plea.
- Objection! (11, 12, 13). Two-ruling cap, different objectors, one pending slot, stake leaves exactly once, overruled stakes booked to the plea's season through the Tribunal-only
checkpointObjectionwith the funded check, and the 40-minute hold always ends inside the 60-minute grace. - Seasons (7, 8, 9, 10). Record once, held and sustained refusals, best-three replacement with earlier-plea ties, top-25 insertion order, share table sums to 10,000 and runs 450 to 350, pot never pays beyond
accountedPot, rollover and bonus burn, owner exclusion at record and close, flush after the last close. Every fail-open read (launcher, Tribunal, hook owner, seat NFT under its 100k gas cap) can only mean no hold, no exclusion or no multiplier. Gas starvation of those reads cannot produce a partial record. - Fixes in FINDINGS.md for this area (R5-I-1/R6-F-1 markers, R5-I-2 season booking, R6-M-1 lesser share, R6-P-3 excluded seller never held) are correct, complete and covered by their named tests.
The one finding (Info).
Seasons.pointsForis a public view that casts the multiplied score to uint8 without a bound, so a caller passing a score above 213 gets a wrapped value. No on-chain path is affected because the gate and the Tribunal cap scores at 45, so recorded points stay within 0 to 54 per plea and 162 for three.Not covered. The invariant, adversarial and fork suites behind the full profile were not run in this pass, and the Letterbox and hook internals belong to the other two jobs.

pointsFor(wallet, score) is a public view that the site and explorers may call with any uint8. For a seat holder the product score * 12_000 / 10_000 is cast to uint8 without a bound, so any score above 213 wraps (214 -> 256 -> 0, 255 -> 306 -> 50). No on-chain path is affected: _record only ever passes the judged score (0-45, or the Tribunal's lowest which is also 0-45), so recorded points stay within 0-54 and the uint8/uint16 bounds (54 per plea, 162 for three) hold.
Reported for completeness because the task asked for the multiplier's rounding and bounds to be checked; it is display-only.
Deploy Seasons with a seat NFT and give
aliceone seat.Call seasons.pointsFor(alice, 214): expected either a revert or 256, actual 0. seasons.pointsFor(alice, 255): expected 306, actual 50.
With no seat the same calls return the score unchanged. seasons.record(...) for a real plea is unaffected since the gate caps the score at 45 (ScoreOutOfRange) and the Tribunal at 45 too.

What I checked, against THREAT-MODEL section 2
- Invariants 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 (gate and verdict): agreed numbers in CabalGate match (0.5 and 0.35 IMD, 7 min, 4 h, 20 min, 280 bytes, 2.5M, 50% and 1%, panel 30 / quorum 17 / score 0-45, PASS_MARK 71, the 16/9/3, 7/4/2, 13/8/3, 9/5/0 table, 33 h). Verdicts bind to the Intake's request id, consume the oracle UUID, refuse a second answer, a late answer, an answer after death; the failure path only expires the plea it names. The sale runs once, for the stored amount, inside the window, from the seller or the Letterbox only, and PLEA's transfer rules admit no other route while the Cabal lives.
- Invariants 7, 8, 9, 10 (seasons): best-three replacement and tie keys, the top-25 insertion, the share table sums to 10,000, pot versus accountedPot stays consistent through close, claims redemption and flush, the owner exclusion at record and at close, every fail-open read. I also confirmed the 63/64 gas rule makes it infeasible for a caller to starve the Tribunal or seat-NFT reads while still completing the record.
- Invariants 11, 12, 13 (Objection!): the two-ruling cap and different-wallet rule, the single pending slot, stake conservation across sustained / overruled / void / expired, checkpointObjection's season booking and UnfundedStake guard, and the 40-minutes-inside-60 timing bound. The run-7 changes (seat multiplier, recalibrated table) and every run-6 fix in this area (R5-I-1, R5-I-2, R6-M-1, R6-P-3) read as correct and complete.
Findings written
- Low (
src/CabalGate.sol:464): a lapsed approval's cooldown is dated from the verdict, so the seller may plead again 3h53m after the lapse. The README table lists no lapse cooldown at all while the threat model says one starts at the lapse. Three sources disagree. - Info (
src/Seasons.sol:279): the Recorded event reports zero points when the plea does not enter the wallet's best three. - Info (
src/CabalGate.sol:679): the judges' question prints "sell 0 PLEA" for pleas under one token, which small holders can legitimately submit.
Limits of this review. The real Intake v2 contract was not fetched from chain. Its behaviour is modelled by the project's mock, and the threat model treats it as trusted. The pending-slot blocking by an unanswered sham objection and front-running of a permissionless record are covered by the accepted Known limits, so they are not reported.

What I checked and found sound, with the invariants from THREAT-MODEL section 2:
- Invariants 3 and 4 (fact score, verdict): every agreed constant matches the code and README. The callback binds to the gate's own intake id, verifies under the gate's domain, consumes the oracle request id once, checks panel 30 / quorum 17 / agreed, score 0 to 45, pending status, 20-minute expiry and a living Cabal. A second answer, a wrong id, an answer after expiry or death, and the unsigned failure all fail closed. Pending expiry and the callback are the only exits.
- Invariants 1, 5, 6 (sale, cooldown, dead-man): one sale per approval, exact amount, inside 7 minutes, hook refuses sells not unlocked by the gate, PLEA transfers refused for holders. The appeal path cannot bypass the execute or lapse cooldowns because the appeal window equals the cooldown. The dead-man is computed and nothing resets it after death.
- Invariants 11 to 13 (Objection!): two-ruling cap, different objector, one pending slot, void frees the slot, sustain closes. Stakes are conserved: I tested an overruled stake settled after death, all closes and the final flush, and a second
flushToWallsends it to the wall. The 40-minute hold stays inside the 60-minute grace. - Invariants 7 to 10 (Seasons): record once, held and sustained refusals, best-three replacement and tie keys, top-25 insertion, share table sums to 10,000, pot and accountedPot cannot diverge, owner exclusion at record and close. The fail-open reads cannot be gas-griefed: an out-of-gas on the Tribunal, launcher, hook-owner or seat read leaves 1/64 of the gas, far less than the rest of
_recordneeds, so the whole call reverts rather than recording wrongly. - Seat multiplier bounds: 45 × 1.2 = 54 fits uint8, 162 fits uint16.
- Fixes marked fixed for this area (R5-I-1, R5-I-2, R6-M-1, R6-P-3): correct and complete, and their regression suites pass. I ran the Gate, Tribunal, TribunalSeasons, TribunalStanding, TribunalOracleBoundary, Seasons, SeatMultiplier, AppealRounding and GasPass suites: 157 tests passed.
Not covered in depth: the hook's basis and checkpoint internals, the Letterbox, and the launch, which belong to areas A2 and A3. The invariant, adversarial and fork suites under the full profile were not run in this session's time budget.

The slack is one basis point of the balance and one percentage point of gain, well inside the panel's noise and the agreed table's intent ('at most 15%'), so no realistic loss; noted because the Numerical Gap guide asks for every truncation at a band edge to be stated. If exact edges are wanted, compare amount * 10_000 <= bal * 1_500 and (value - spent) * 100 <= spent * 50 without division.

THREAT-MODEL invariant 5 says 'a sale, a denial or a lapse starts a 4-hour cooldown'. The code stamps the lapse with the verdict time, so the cooldown ends at verdictAt + 4h, i.e. 3 hours 53 minutes after the window actually lapsed (verdictAt + 7 min); a sale stamps block.timestamp, so a seller who sells at the last second waits up to 7 minutes longer than one who lets the window lapse.
README.md line 65 ('Approved, not sold in 7 min | Lapsed; the score still counts for the season') mentions no cooldown, while the Letterbox's cooldown display (Letterbox.sol line 615) and the gate both apply one. No value is at risk; this is a documentation and agreed-number consistency note: say in the README that a lapse starts the 4-hour cooldown and that it is measured from the verdict.

.imd-findings.jsonholds six merged findings, all reproduced in a scratch Foundry test I wrote, since the specialists' probe file was not in the tree.Verdict on the A1 audit: no Critical, High or Medium. The nine specialist entries collapse to six distinct issues, and every one reproduces against the code. Nothing was dropped.
Kept, merged and reproduced
- Low, Seasons.record (line 219). Math and economics both reported it. THREAT-MODEL section 3 justifies reading the seat at record time with "the seller chooses the moment", but any address can record the second the hold ends, fixing 1.0x points forever. Reproduced: bob records alice's plea at verdict + 20 min + 1 s, alice then mints a seat and gets AlreadyRecorded with 45 points instead of 54. Low as points-only griefing, with a note that Medium is arguable if borrowed seats are a supported path.
- Low, CabalGate lapse stamp (line 464). Flow and economics both reported it. A lapse stores the verdict time, so the cooldown ends 3h53m after the lapse, and the README outcome table promises no cooldown for a lapse at all. Reproduced: the retry at verdict + 8 min reverts Cooldown(verdict + 4h) and succeeds at verdict + 4h. An existing test asserts the verdict stamp, so a fix must change it too.
- Info, Seasons.Recorded (line 279) emits points 0 when a plea does not enter the best three. Reproduced with a fourth 44-point plea after three at 45, wallet still at 135.
- Info, CabalGate question (line 679) prints "sell 0 PLEA" for sub-unit pleas. Reproduced with a holder of about 50 PLEA pleading 0.9.
- Info, fact-score band edges (line 261) floor-round, so 15.005% scores the 16-point band. Reproduced.
- Info, Seasons.pointsFor (line 132) wraps above a score of 213 for seat holders. View only; reproduced.
What I checked beyond the specialists and found sound: the verdict path (sender, id binding, pending state, expiry, death, consume, panel bounds, both exit routes), sale paths and PLEA transfer rules, appeal bounds and the lesser-share band, the Tribunal state machine including stake conservation and the 40-minute hold inside the 60-minute grace, Seasons record and insertion logic, shareBps sum (10,000), pot versus accountedPot, and the fail-open reads (the 63/64 gas rule stops a caller from starving the Tribunal read while finishing a record). Invariants 1 to 13 were covered; 14 to 22 belong to other areas.
Fixes marked fixed for this area (R5-I-1/R6-F-1 markers, R5-I-2 checkpointObjection, R6-M-1 lesser share, R6-P-3 excluded standing) are correct and their regression suites pass. The default-profile suites for Gate, Tribunal, TribunalSeasons, AppealRounding, Seasons and SeatMultiplier ran green.
Check Result Scratch reproductions (test/scratch/A1Judge.t.sol) 6 of 6 pass, confirming the behaviour Area regression suites 130 tests, 0 failures No proofs were attached since no finding is Critical or High. Fork and invariant suites under the full profile were not run in this review.

A lapsed approval's 4-hour cooldown is dated from the verdict, not from the lapse, and the README's outcome table lists no cooldown for a lapse at all (merges audit_flow 7ed94c64 and audit_economics 0src/CabalGate.sol:464
Seasons.Recorded reports points = 0 when the plea does not enter the wallet's best three (merges audit_math f27f533a and audit_flow c8898cbe)src/Seasons.sol:279
uint16 pts is declared before the replacement branch of _record and assigned only inside it.
The judges' question prints 'sell 0 PLEA' for a plea below one PLEA (a small holder's 1% minimum is under one token) (audit_flow aa2787d6)src/CabalGate.sol:679
0.9 PLEA.
Reproduced in test/scratch/A1Judge.t.sol test_questionShowsZeroPleaForSubUnitAmounts.
Fact-score band edges are floor-rounded: shares in [15%, 15.01%) and [30%, 30.01%) and gains in [50%, 51%) and [200%, 201%) score the better band (audit_math 7c81b0d9)src/CabalGate.sol:261
shareBps = amount * 10_000 / bal truncates, so any share in [15%, 15.01%) is 1500 bps and scores 16 rather than 9 (likewise 30%); gainPct = (value - spent) * 100 / spent truncates, so a gain in [50%, 51%) scores 8 instead of 3 and [200%, 201%) scores 3 instead of 0.
Fixture: alice holds bal PLEA. gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1500 / 10_000) == gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1500 / 10_000 + bal / 20_000) (about 15.005% of the balance) and both are 7 points above gate.factScore(alice, bal * 1501 / 10_000 + 1).
Expected under a strict '<= 15%' edge: the 15.005% plea scores the 9-point band.
Reproduced in test/scratch/A1Judge.t.sol test_factScoreShareBoundary.
Seasons.pointsFor truncates scores above 213 for a seat holder (view only; _record never passes more than 45) (audit_permissions 4e05f9b1)src/Seasons.sol:132
pointsFor(wallet, score) is public and takes any uint8; for a seat holder the product is cast to uint8 without a bound, so a score above 213 wraps (214 -> 256 -> 0, 255 -> 306 -> 50). No on-chain path is affected: _record only passes the judged score (0-45, capped by ScoreOutOfRange in the gate and the Tribunal), so recorded points stay in 0-54 per plea and 162 for three, and the uint8/uint16 bounds hold.
Display-only; a
require(score <= MAX)or a uint16 return would make the view total.Fixture: seat.mint(alice). seasons.pointsFor(alice, 214) returns 0 (expected 256 or a revert); seasons.pointsFor(alice, 255) returns 50 (expected 306); seasons.pointsFor(bob, 255) with no seat returns 255. Reproduced in test/scratch/A1Judge.t.sol test_pointsForTruncatesAbove213.
