CHARACTER: Canvas 1000x1000 px, transparent PNG, hard-edged 40x40 px blocks only, no anti-aliasing and no outlines beyond the black silhouette.
Draw ONE base: a blocky pixel-art CROCODILE humanoid that keeps the creator's punk character (black silhouette head, tall vertical orange-to-yellow eye bars, small white square stud earring, tied orange-to-gold headband).
Pose: head and body turned about 15 degrees so the face and snout point slightly to the viewer's right, eyes looking at the viewer, both eyes fully visible.
Head: solid pure-black, squarish flat-topped crocodile skull. Crown and top of the skull at y=210, with two raised square eye-ridge bumps (1 block each) sitting on top of the skull. The skull spans about x=330-670, centre line x=500.
A long flat blocky snout extends to the viewer's right from the face, out to about x=760. The snout is 3-4 blocks tall, with its underside between y=600 and y=665. Add one darker nostril bump block at the snout tip (top edge, around x=720-760, y=560) and a slightly protruding squared lower jaw ending at the chin, y=665.
Eyes: two tall vertical bars, each 1 block wide x 3 blocks tall, side by side on the eye line y=425 at about x=440 and x=540, graded orange at the top to bright yellow at the bottom.
Ear bump: a small squared bump on the viewer's left at about x=320, y=440, carrying one white 1-block square stud earring.
Headband: around the forehead at y=290-330, graded orange to golden yellow, wrapping the skull. The knot tails stick out at the left back of the head (x=250-330, y=290-370) in orange and darker orange-red.
Optional: 2-3 dark-green or charcoal ridge-scale pixels down the back of the skull to read as crocodile, staying subtle. Do NOT draw a mouth line or teeth (separate mouth layer), a cigarette, smoke, glasses, or any clothing, collar or jacket.
Neck: black, narrowest at y=700, about x=420-580, meeting the shoulders at y=740.
Shoulders: black, bare, both visible, widening to roughly x=180-820 and running off the bottom edge at y=1000. Arms down and out of frame, nothing in front of the chest.

BACKGROUND: Canvas 1000x1000 px, opaque PNG, full-bleed. Draw 12 backgrounds from one palette in the chunky pixel style. Each is a flat colour or a soft stepped gradient of 2-4 horizontal bands, with band edges on the 40 px grid.
The anchor is flat light sky-blue (#8FD3F5).
Variants: sky-blue, pale teal, mint, soft lavender, pale peach, butter yellow, light coral, dusty pink, pale grey-blue, warm sand, a stepped sky-blue gradient, and a stepped peach-to-yellow gradient. No scenery, objects, text or noise. Keep the colours light enough that the black silhouette and the orange/yellow details read clearly against them.
Outputs: background_01.png ... background_12.png.
Weights file: weights.json, entries background_01.png ... background_12.png at 10 each, except background_01.png (sky-blue) at 20. Also write artifacts/base_b.png and artifacts/base_c.png: two more takes of the SAME character on the SAME template and pose, each a SEPARATE, FRESHLY GENERATED image (run the image tool again for each one; never copy, edit, recolour or re-save base.png), so that if one comes out too big, too small or off-centre another may fit.
Write artifacts/base.png, artifacts/background_01.png .. background_12.png, and artifacts/traits.json: {"backgrounds":[{"file","name","weight"}...]} with weights summing to 100.
