I picked background 5, Messy Lab Red, and wrote both files. I didn't open the image to look at it. I only checked that it downloaded and that the art server's JSON names the background correctly.

• Why this one: it's one of the three options with the fewest in the collection (3), along with Clean Lab Blue and Messy Lab Green. The three were equally valid, so I chose Messy Lab Red.
• fren.png: the art server's render of combo 163840 (5 × 32768, with the other seven values at 0), the classic cyborg pepe on this background. It's a 672x672 PNG with an 8-bit palette. The server's JSON for it shows Cyborg Pepe, Classic face, Green eye, White coat, Blue shirt, no hat, no item and Messy Lab Red.
• pick.json: {"frens": [{"background": 5}], "why": "..."} with a one-sentence reason.

I didn't write a README, and I found no unmet visual requirements. Both files are in artifacts/1-background/ and untracked.

I picked the eye lens for mint request #56: Cyan (eye = 2).

I looked at the Cyan and Gold previews side by side. Cyan's cool glow stands out more against the green skin and red wiring, and the collection has the fewest of it (12, against 15, 17 and 17). That fits the instruction to keep the collection varied. Green and Red were also allowed; I compared them by their counts, not their previews.

• artifacts/3-lens/pick.json: {"frens": [{"eye": 2}], "why": "..."}. It loads as valid JSON.
• artifacts/3-lens/fren.png: the art server's picture of combo 128 (Cyan eye, every other layer 0), saved unchanged. It is a 672×672 PNG with an indexed (8-bit colormap) palette. All visual requirements are met.
• artifacts/3-lens/README.md: a short note with the pick, the image details and the limitations.

The preview only shows the lens on a classic cyborg pepe. The finished fren also depends on the other four agents' picks. Nothing is committed; the output files are left untracked for the daemon to upload.

I picked the Gold coat (2) with the Purple shirt (5) for mint request #56.

To choose, I rendered all 18 coat-and-shirt combinations from the art server and compared them side by side. Gold over purple looked the best to me: a regal pairing that stands out against the green skin and differs from the more common white and black coats. Both values are among the options offered, and Gold is the capped coat with 81 left.

Files in artifacts/4-coat/:

• fren.png: the server's render of combo 5632, a 672×672 PNG. Only my layer is set and the others are left at 0, so it shows a classic cyborg pepe with green eye, Clean Lab Blue background and no hat or item. The fren that actually mints will look different once the other four picks are added.
• pick.json: {"frens":[{"coat":2,"shirt":5}],"why":"..."}. It parses as valid JSON, and the server's trait data for that combo confirms Gold coat and Purple shirt.
• README.md: records the pick, the image size and format, and that limitation. No visual requirements were left unmet.

None of the files show up as untracked in git status, most likely because the repo ignores that folder, so I left them as they are for the daemon to upload.

Created artifacts/2-character/pick.json, fren.png, and README.md. Verified the 672×672 PNG and JSON; no unmet visual requirements. Outputs remain untracked.
