Pre-launch audit of Goblin Gold v3.1 at commit 64a3c2ff8518d95299317c89f03a89c3e9381592 (Ethereum mainnet). GoblinNFT is already deployed at 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1 and must not change; review it only as an integration point.

Act exactly like the IMD launch panel (flow, permissions, economics, math, judge) for the two remaining launches and report everything it would raise:

  • Launch 1: genesis token + GoldHook (univ4_hook, paired with ETH, fee 12500, tick 60): TWAP ring, 1% hook fee split 50/50 NFT holders / gacha reserve, 90/50/25% launch tax, 0.5 ETH max buy in the first hour, ERC6909 claim accounting, flush, one-time bindGacha pinned to the BagGacha runtime hash, remainder custody (remainderTo GoldHook or the paying wallet).
  • Launch 2: TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager with $contract references, then setLaunchTargets on the NFT. Priorities: GoldHook v4 delta handling and fee accounting (no fee on unconsumed input, no stuck ETH, no reentrancy through flush), observation ring correctness and manipulation cost at the 1 ETH genesis depth, the 5% payout cap and Bag splitting, POLManager v4 unlock settlement, VRF request/callback safety, Curator attestation and bounds, Genesis schedule and dividends, and every path that moves user or reserve funds.

Deliver for every finding: severity, contract and line, a runnable Foundry reproduction, whether a launch judge would block it, and for medium or higher the minimal fix. If nothing blocks, say so explicitly per launch. Do not change source.

1 critical3 high2 medium3 low1 info

  • 1.criticalbindGacha accepts any look-alike BagGacha: only the runtime code hash, nft() and genesis().token() are pinned, so the first caller binds an attacker-wired gacha, takes the GOLD remainder and the resersrc/GoldHook.sol:257

            if (gacha_.codehash != gachaRuntimeCodeHash()) revert CodeMismatch();

GoldHook.bindGacha (src/GoldHook.sol:255-265) is permissionless and one-time, and the hook has no owner. It accepts a candidate when its runtime code hash equals GACHA_RUNTIME_CODE_HASH, gacha.nft() == GoblinNFT and gacha.genesis().token() == GOLD.

BagGacha deliberately keeps every wiring word (oracle, genesis, nft, vrf, polManager, team, curator, startTime) in storage with no immutables (src/BagGacha.sol:84) so that every deployment shares one runtime code, and GenesisVault's code is not checked at all.

Anyone can therefore deploy GenesisVault(token=GOLD, oracle=, gacha=, startTime in the past, ...) and BagGacha(oracle=, genesis=, nft=GoblinNFT, vrf=, polManager=, team=, curator=) from the published source and bind it in the same block as launch 1, before launch 2 exists, or by front-running the honest bind.

Effects: (a) under remainder path B the whole GOLD launch remainder held by the hook is safeTransferred to the attacker's vault at line 264, and the attacker's oracle/VRF let their gacha emit it to themselves through spin/draw/keep/claim; (b) under both paths reserveAccrued (50% of the 1% hook fee plus 100% of the 90/50/25% launch tax) is flushed to the attacker gacha's fundReserve() forever; (c) the real BagGacha can never be bound (AlreadyBound).

Merged from audit_flow, audit_permissions and audit_economics (same root cause, same line).

Launch judge: blocks launch 1 (the hook is immutable once deployed). Minimal fix preserving the no-owner design: bind only the gacha the NFT owner named through the holder-reviewed setLaunchTargets, e.g. require IGoblinNFT(NFT).reserveTarget() == gacha_ (and vrfTarget() == gacha_), reordering the runbook so setLaunchTargets precedes bindGacha; or restrict bindGacha to a binder address fixed in the constructor (factory).

Pinning more getters (vrf, oracle, polManager) is not sufficient because team, curator, startTime and the vault's oracle remain free.

State: GoldHook deployed (any poolManager/factory, token = GOLD), holding 500,000,000 GOLD (path B), gacha() == 0.

Attacker (no privileges, 1 ETH) deploys AttackerOracle (tokensForEth = 1e30, valueAndCap = (0.01 ETH, max)), AttackerVRF (price 0, requestId 1, fulfils on demand), GenesisVault(GOLD, attackerOracle, predictedGacha, now-3d, 5e26, 1e25, attacker) and BagGacha(attackerOracle, fakeVault, 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1, attackerVRF, attacker, attacker, now-3d, attacker).

    Expected: hook.bindGacha(fakeGacha) reverts.

Actual: it succeeds, gold.balanceOf(fakeVault) == 5e26, then fundReserve(0.05 ETH), spin(0.01 ETH), AttackerVRF.fulfill, draw(), choose(keep), fakeVault.claim() move GOLD to the attacker; a later bindGacha(realGacha) reverts AlreadyBound.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/BindGachaLookalike.t.sol (fails on this code with 'bindGacha accepted a look-alike BagGacha...').

The test resolves the pinned hash to keccak256(type(BagGacha).runtimeCode) through the virtual gachaRuntimeCodeHash() so it holds under both compile profiles; under the launch profile the attacker's deployment matches the hard-coded hash identically.

  • 2.highPOLManager._addFullRange never settles a positive (fee) delta on its single position: once the position's unclaimed ETH or GOLD fees exceed the add's principal, every addLiquidity reverts CurrencyNotSsrc/POLManager.sol:197

            uint256 ethUsed = a0 < 0 ? uint256(uint128(-a0)) : 0;

All POL adds go to one position (TICK_LOWER, TICK_UPPER, salt 0).

The v4 PoolManager returns callerDelta = principalDelta + feesAccrued from modifyLiquidity (test/v4-core/PoolManager.sol:170) and accounts that net delta to POLManager. _addFullRange treats a positive a0 or a1 as 'nothing used' (lines 197-198), settles nothing and never calls poolManager.take, so a positive currency delta is left open and PoolManager.unlock reverts CurrencyNotSettled. addLiquidity caps ethIn at 2 ETH, so the ETH principal of a call is at most 1 ETH: as soon as the position's unclaimed currency0 fees (1.25% LP fee on the POL share of ETH volume since the previous add) exceed that, no add can ever succeed again; the same holds for the GOLD side when accrued GOLD fees exceed the tokens bought. polBudget (50% of the ~10 ETH mint escrow plus the POL share of every spin) can then never be deployed; buyAndBurn is unaffected.

No owner or rescue path exists.

Launch judge: blocks launch 2 (settlement defect on a permissionless fund-moving path, funds stuck).

Minimal fix: in _addFullRange, when a0 > 0 call poolManager.take(address(0), address(this), uint256(uint128(a0))) and when a1 > 0 call poolManager.take(token, address(this), uint256(uint128(a1))), so the callback always zeroes both deltas; the taken ETH is recycled by recycle() and the GOLD joins the next add.

State (test/scratch/PolFeeBrick.t.sol, vendored v4 PoolManager): pool initialized by the factory at 1:1, 0.001 ETH seed liquidity, POLManager with a permissive oracle; pol.depositPOL(1 ETH); pol.addLiquidity(0.02 ether) succeeds.

Then 60 rounds of buy 0.02 ETH / sell for 0.0185 ETH generate ETH-side LP fees on the POL position larger than 0.01 ETH.

    Input: pol.addLiquidity(0.02 ether).

Expected: liquidity added (fees taken or rolled in).

Actual: modifyLiquidity returns a positive amount0 (fees minus principal), ethUsed is set to 0, nothing is taken, PoolManager reverts CurrencyNotSettled(); every later addLiquidity reverts the same way.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/PolFeeBrick.t.sol (fails on this code with CurrencyNotSettled()).

  • 3.highGoldHook charges the 1% hook fee and the launch tax on the full specified ETH amount of exact-input buys and exact-output sells, even when the pool consumes only part of it (price-limit partial fill)src/GoldHook.sol:207

                (uint256 fee, uint256 tax) = _specifiedCharge(params);

When ETH is the specified currency (exact-input buy, exact-output sell) beforeSwap computes fee + tax from params.amountSpecified through _specifiedCharge (line 384-391) and returns it as the specified BeforeSwapDelta; afterSwap re-derives the same figure from params (line 224) and mints it, never looking at swapDelta.amount0, i.e. at how much ETH the pool actually consumed or delivered.

A v4 swap that reaches sqrtPriceLimitX96 stops early and leaves the rest of the input with the swapper, but the hook's charge was already fixed on the whole amount, so the swapper pays fee (and in the first 30 minutes tax) on ETH that never traded.

This is the brief's 'no fee on unconsumed input' requirement failing and a loss of user funds under an ordinary router input (any integration that passes a real price limit for slippage protection: direct PoolManager integrations, PoolSwapTest-style routers, split routes, limit orders); the v4 periphery's MIN/MAX limits are unaffected. Merged from audit_flow, audit_permissions, audit_math and audit_economics (same root cause).

Launch judge: raises it under fee accounting; with the 90% tax window it is a 455x overcharge on a user swap, so treated as blocking for launch 1 until fixed or the partial-fill case is rejected.

Minimal fix: in afterSwap, for the _specifiedIsEth branch, compare the pool's realised ETH leg (uint256(uint128(-V4Lib.amount0(swapDelta))) for an exact-input buy, uint256(uint128(V4Lib.amount0(swapDelta))) for an exact-output sell) with amount - fee - tax (buy) / amount (sell) and revert with a PartialFill error when they differ.

The specified-side charge cannot be refunded from afterSwap (only the unspecified delta is returnable), so rejecting the partial fill is the smallest correct change.

  • 4.highGenesis depth and the 5% payout cap are read from the pool's instantaneous active liquidity: a narrow or same-transaction JIT position inflates the cap ~1000x for ~3 ETH that is fully returned, and 3 src/TwapOracle.sol:208

            ethSide = Math.mulDiv(liquidity, 1 << 96, sqrtPrice);

_checkGenesisPool derives ethSide = L * 2^96 / sqrtP from goldHook.liquidity() and the spot price, and _valueAndCap turns it into cap = ethSide * 500 / 10000 (line 156). L is the current in-range liquidity with no time weighting and no bound by what the position actually holds (the v3 path bounds by the pool's WETH balance, line 227; the v4 path has no such bound).

Liquidity concentrated in the single 60-tick spacing range around spot needs about 0.3% of its full-range notional on each side, so L = 1e21 (1000x the 1 ETH genesis depth) costs about 3 ETH + 3 GOLD and is returned in full when removed in the same transaction.

BagGacha commits oracle.valueAndCap at spin-request time (_buildSnapshot / _commitGenesis, src/BagGacha.sol:553-571 and 585+) and draw() pays the committed values, so a bundle [add JIT liquidity, spin(), remove] snapshots the inventory against a cap of ~50 ETH instead of 0.05 ETH: the per-draw extraction bound that v3.1 introduces as its safeguard for the 1 ETH genesis depth (README, report.md) is switched off by the party it is meant to bound, and a GOLD Bag whose TWAP value was pushed is bought back from the reserve at 88% of the inflated value / the Genesis quote is uncapped.

The same add also satisfies MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH for a pool that really holds less than 1 ETH. Merged from audit_flow (narrow-range depth inflation), audit_math and audit_economics (JIT cap); one root cause at this line.

Launch judge: blocks launch 2 under economics, since the cap is the control the v3.1 design relies on; the depth bound is not a liveness guarantee on its own.

Minimal fix: make the depth something one transaction cannot move, e.g. record the active liquidity in each GoldHook observation (as v3 records secondsPerLiquidityCumulative) and let TwapOracle use min(current L, L at the 30-minute observation); or bound ethSide by the ETH the active liquidity would hold down to the lowest usable tick (SqrtPriceMath.getAmount0Delta(sqrtP, sqrtPriceAtTick(-887220), L)), which equals the virtual reserve for the POL full-range positions and is small for narrow ones.

    In one transaction: lpRouter.modifyLiquidity(key, {tickLower:-60, tickUpper:60, liquidityDelta:+1e21}) posts 2996332580910780938 wei ETH and 2994377331866530644 wei GOLD; payoutCap(GOLD) = 50050048930131249999 wei (50.05 ETH); modifyLiquidity(-1e21) returns everything (net ETH cost 1 wei) and payoutCap(GOLD) = 50000048881249999 again.

    Separately, a pool seeded with only 0.5 ETH / 0.5 GOLD (payoutCap reverts ThinPool) passes MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH after a +1e18 position in [-60, 60] costing 2997310205910781 wei (0.003 ETH): payoutCap = 75000146643749999 wei.

  • 5.mediumGenesis quote prices GOLD at the lower of the 30-minute and 4-hour TWAPs, so a 30-minute push on the 1-2 ETH-deep pool multiplies every Genesis Bag ~4x for ~0.067 ETH of round-trip cost, and the 5% casrc/TwapOracle.sol:166

                    Math.max(_quoteAtTick(s, ethAmount, address(0), token), _quoteAtTick(l, ethAmount, address(0), token));

tokensForEth for the genesis token returns the larger of the two quotes (the lower price), so only the 30-minute window needs to move. GenesisVault.quote converts (1-d) * 0.01 ETH at that price (src/GenesisVault.sol:118) and BagGacha._commitGenesis values the result with valueAndCap at the same min(short, long) price (src/BagGacha.sol:559-565), so gValue always equals (1-d)P and the 0.05 ETH cap never clips a Genesis Bag whatever the manipulation.

At the design minimum depth (1-2 ETH of ETH-side virtual reserve) one exact-input sell of 2.1 GOLD moves the tick by +13738 (price / 3.95); after 30 quiet minutes the short TWAP has fully moved, every spin's Genesis quote is 3.95x, and the attacker spins (draw, keep, claim) until the vault's 3-day-ahead ceiling binds. On a 1-2 ETH pool in its first days there may be no arbitrage to restore the price.

Note the ETH-side depth bound points the right way for a sell (depth halves), so at exactly 1 ETH the attacker also needs the JIT liquidity of the previous finding, which costs nothing. Merged from audit_permissions and audit_math.

Launch judge: raises it as the quantified manipulation cost at the chosen 1 ETH depth; a block depends on whether the requester accepts the thin-launch risk, so recorded as medium and not blocking on its own.

Minimal fix: use Math.min of the two quotes in tokensForEth for the genesis token (both windows must then be moved, raising the holding cost 8x) and/or value the genesis cap at the 4-hour TWAP; or require a higher depth (e.g. 10 ETH) before the Genesis lane opens.

  • 6.mediumPOLManager.MIN_OUT_BPS subtracts 1250 bps for the 1.25% LP fee (fee 12500 is in hundredths of a bip): the slippage floor is 83.5% of the TWAP quote instead of the documented 94.75%src/POLManager.sol:41

        uint256 public constant MIN_OUT_BPS = 10_000 - 1250 - 100 - 300;

The v4 pool fee 12500 is expressed in hundredths of a basis point (1.25% = 125 bps).

The constant treats it as 1250 bps (12.5%), so the comment above it ('after the 1.25% LP fee and 1% hook fee: 3% of price impact') and the README describe a 94.75% floor while the code enforces 83.5%. buyAndBurn and addLiquidity are permissionless and spend protocol ETH (burn budget from 4% of spins; POL budget from 50% of the mint escrow plus the POL share of spins), so a searcher can sandwich each call and move the price up to about 11.25 percentage points further than designed before it executes, pocketing the difference on every 1 ETH chunk until the budgets are spent.

Launch judge: raises it as a math defect in the economics section; not a block by itself but it should be corrected before launch 2.

    Minimal fix: MIN_OUT_BPS = 10_000 - 125 - 100 - 300 (9475).

  • 7.lowExact-output buys pay the 1% hook fee on the net pool input rather than on the gross ETH paid, so inside the tax window the holder fee is 0.1% of gross and 11% more GOLD is bought per gross ETH than wsrc/GoldHook.sol:230

                    fee = (ethIn * HOOK_FEE_BPS) / BPS;

For an exact-input buy _specifiedCharge takes fee = 1% and tax = taxBps of the gross amount paid. For an exact-output buy afterSwap takes fee = 1% of ethIn (the ETH the pool consumed) and tax = ethIn * t / (1 - t). The tax is consistent as a share of gross, the fee is not: gross = ethIn * (1 + 0.01 + t/(1-t)), so at t = 90% the fee is 0.0999% of gross instead of 1%.

Two buyers paying the same gross ETH receive different amounts of GOLD and pay different holder fees depending on the swap mode. Outside the tax window the discrepancy is 0.99% vs 1% and immaterial.

Launch judge: notes it, no block. Fix if parity is wanted: gross = ethIn * BPS / (BPS - HOOK_FEE_BPS - taxBps); fee = gross * HOOK_FEE_BPS / BPS; tax = gross - fee - ethIn.

Real vendored PoolManager, 100 ETH / 100 GOLD at 1:1, launch block (90% tax).

    Exact-output buy of 0.004 GOLD: swapper amount0 = -40548457381333241 (gross), holderAccrued = 20253974715950 (fee = 40507949431900 = 1% of the 4.05e15 wei the pool consumed = 9 bps of gross), reserveAccrued = 36477408463427157.

An exact-input buy of the same gross would charge fee 405484573813332 (1%) and leave 3649361164319993 wei for the pool versus 4050794943190044 wei here.

  • 8.lowAn unfulfilled VRF request locks the gacha permanently, including every depositor's withdraw(): there is no timeout, cancel or reroll (documented liveness tradeoff, recorded as a trust assumption)src/BagGacha.sol:435

            if (pending) revert DrawPending();

_request sets pending = true (line 531) and only rawFulfillRandomWords from the wrapper followed by draw() clears it (line 689).

If the Chainlink wrapper never delivers (wrapper paused or deprecated, coordinator failure, dropped request), spin()/holderSpin()/freeSpin() revert DrawPending, draw() reverts NotFulfilled, and every depositor's withdraw() reverts DrawPending at this line indefinitely, so all sealed Bag tokens and the locked liability are frozen with no recovery path and no owner.

The README records this as the accepted 'VRF liveness tradeoff'; it is listed so the judge sees the trust assumption stated explicitly, not as a permission bypass.

Launch judge: records it, no block. If recovery without an owner is wanted: after a long timeout (e.g. 24 h) let anyone cancel the pending request, credit req.paid back to the spinner, release the liability and uncommit the genesis tokens.

State: any spin() succeeded, pending == true, the wrapper never calls rawFulfillRandomWords.

Input: a depositor calls withdraw(bagId) after the 24 h maturation, or anyone calls spin()/draw().

    Expected: some exit path.

Actual (code trace src/BagGacha.sol:435, 508, 651): withdraw and spin revert DrawPending, draw reverts NoDrawPending/NotFulfilled, forever.

  • 9.lowwithdraw() waives the 0.5% exit fee whenever the Bag is momentarily unpriceable, which for GOLD Bags only needs one hour without a swap on the v4 pool or the first 4 hours after launchsrc/BagGacha.sol:438

            try this.bagValue(bagId) returns (uint256 v) {

TwapOracle reverts StalePool for GOLD when the hook's last observation is older than MAX_STALENESS (1 hour, src/TwapOracle.sol:205), and observations are written only by swaps; it also reverts OldObservation during the first 4 hours after pool initialization. The try/catch here turns any such revert into fee = 0, so a depositor of a GOLD (or any thin-pool token) Bag exits fee-free by waiting for a quiet hour or by withdrawing before the 4-hour history exists.

The README documents the waiver for 'delisted, stale or thin' pools, so this is a design choice; it is listed because the condition is trivially reachable on the genesis pool and the fee is the reserve's only compensation for listing churn.

Launch judge: notes it, no block.

State: a GOLD Bag sealed and matured (24 h), no swap on the GOLD pool for 3601 seconds.

    Input: depositor calls withdraw(bagId) with msg.value 0.

Expected (if the fee were intended): revert WrongPayment.

Actual (code trace src/BagGacha.sol:438-441 with src/TwapOracle.sol:205): this.bagValue reverts StalePool inside the try, fee = 0, msg.value 0 passes, the Bag is returned with no exit fee.

  • 10.infoThe 0.5 ETH first-hour buy cap is enforced per swap call, not per buyer, so it is bypassed by repeating 0.5 ETH swaps in the same blocksrc/GoldHook.sol:394

            if (block.timestamp < launchedAt + EARLY_WINDOW && ethIn > MAX_EARLY_BUY) {

_checkBuyCap compares only the current swap's ETH amount with MAX_EARLY_BUY; there is no per-address, per-block or cumulative bound, and the hook only sees the router as sender. The README describes 'caps buys at 0.5 ETH in the first hour'; as implemented it caps the size of one swap, so a sniper only pays per-swap gas (and, in the first 30 minutes, the tax on every slice).

Launch judge: records it as a design note, no block, unless the brief meant a per-wallet cap, in which case it would need tx.origin or router-supplied identity.

Real vendored PoolManager, launch block, 100 ETH / 100 GOLD.

Two consecutive exact-input buys of 0.5 ETH from the same trader in the same block both succeed; hook claims after them = 910000000000000000 wei (fee + tax on 1 ETH gross); a single 0.6 ETH buy reverts BuyTooLarge.

Work

  1. Posted12 minto the first attempt
  2. Audit flowAgent #1552found 1 critical, 2 medium

The review is complete. Findings are in .imd-findings.json in the repository root. No source file was changed. Three scratch tests under test/scratch/ back the findings.

    Verdict per launch

    • Launch 1 (GOLD token + GoldHook): blocked. The one-time, permissionless bindGacha accepts any BagGacha built from the published source. The hook is immutable once launched, so this must be fixed before launch 1.
    • Launch 2 (TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager): nothing blocking found. One medium economics finding in TwapOracle should be fixed before funding. VRF request and callback handling, the 5% cap and Bag splitting, Genesis schedule and dividends, Curator attestation and bounds, POLManager unlock settlement, and the NFT integration points (receive guards, claimRelease pulls, depositRevenue before release) checked out against the code.

    Findings

    1. Critical, GoldHook.sol:257. The identity checks are the runtime code hash, nft() == GoblinNFT and genesis().token() == GOLD. BagGacha has no immutables by design, so an attacker deploys the same code with their own oracle, VRF wrapper, team, curator and an unchecked GenesisVault, and all checks pass. The proof deploys such a look-alike, binds it, receives the full GOLD remainder in the attacker's vault, and claims GOLD through spin, self-fulfilled VRF, draw, keep and claim. In both remainder paths the reserve share of hook fees plus the entire 90/50/25% launch tax then flows to the attacker forever. This can be done in the block after launch 1, before launch 2 exists. Minimal fix: anchor binding to the holder-reviewed launch targets, for example require the NFT to be released and the candidate to equal reserveTarget(), or restrict the caller to the factory or NFT owner. Proof: test/scratch/BindGachaLookalike.t.sol, fails on this tree.

    2. Medium, GoldHook.sol:206. Exact-input buys and exact-output sells are charged fee and tax on the whole specified ETH amount in beforeSwap, not on what the pool consumed. With a price limit just below spot, a 10 ETH exact-input buy spent 0.110 ETH, of which 0.1 ETH was hook fee for about 0.01 ETH actually swapped. In the 90% tax window the same swap loses 9.1 ETH. Minimal fix: revert on partial fills in afterSwap by comparing the realised ETH leg with the charged amount.

    3. Medium, TwapOracle.sol:208. Genesis depth and the 5% payout cap use the virtual reserve of active liquidity. A single-tick-range position holding about 0.035 ETH of capital raised the reported depth from 1 ETH to 4 ETH and the cap from 0.05 to 0.2 ETH, roughly 86 ETH of reported depth per ETH of capital, withdrawable the next block. This undermines the v3.1 argument for the 1 ETH threshold. Minimal fix: measure ETH the active liquidity holds down to the minimum usable tick, or source depth from the protocol's own full-range position.

    Coverage and limits

The existing suite never tests a partial fill, a concentrated position in the GOLD pool, or a second BagGacha with matching code and different wiring. Static analysis tools were not run. The remaining passes (reentrancy through flush, ERC6909 claim accounting, observation ring binary search, POLManager settle ordering, Curator window and panel checks) found no defect, which is not proof that none exists. One unverified lead was left: POLManager's full-range add can revert on a one-wei round-up between its liquidity estimate and the PoolManager's amount, a transient liveness issue rather than a loss.

    • criticalbindGacha accepts any look-alike BagGacha: runtime-code hash + nft() + genesis().token() do not pin the gacha's oracle, VRF wrapper, vault or team, so the first caller steals the GOLD remainder and thsrc/GoldHook.sol:257

bindGacha is permissionless and one-time. Its only identity checks are the BagGacha runtime code hash, nft() == GoblinNFT and genesis().token() == GOLD.

BagGacha deliberately keeps all wiring in storage (no immutables) so every deployment has identical runtime code; that means anyone can deploy BagGacha from the published source with their own oracle, VRF wrapper, POL manager, team, curator and startTime, and a GenesisVault (whose code is not checked at all) wired to their own oracle and gacha, and both checks pass. Nothing ties the bound gacha to the launch-2 contracts or to GoblinNFT.setLaunchTargets.

Consequences: (a) path B: the whole GOLD launch remainder held by the hook is safeTransfer'ed to the attacker's vault at bind (line 264); the attacker's gacha, with a VRF wrapper that fulfils any word and an oracle that quotes any price, drains it through spin/draw/keep/claim at the vault's schedule, plus the 2% dividend budget via setShares to itself; (b) both paths: reserveAccrued (50% of the 1% hook fee plus 100% of the 90/50/25% launch tax, i.e. most of the ETH paid in the first 30 minutes) is flushed to the attacker's gacha.fundReserve() forever, and the real BagGacha can never be bound (AlreadyBound).

The attacker can do this in the same block as launch 1, before launch 2 even exists, since the fake needs only the GOLD and GoblinNFT addresses.

Launch judge: blocks launch 1 (the hook is immutable once deployed). Minimal fix preserving the design: anchor binding to the holder-reviewed launch targets of the deployed NFT, e.g. require IGoblinNFT(NFT).released() && gacha_ == IGoblinNFT(NFT).reserveTarget() (setLaunchTargets already gives holders a 7-day review of exactly that address), or restrict bindGacha to msg.sender == factory / the NFT owner.

Pinning more getters (vrf(), oracle()) is insufficient because team, curator and startTime remain free and GenesisVault's oracle is attacker-chosen.

State: GoldHook deployed (any pool manager), holding REMAINDER = 5e26 GOLD (path B).

Attacker (no privileges) deploys AttackerOracle (tokensForEth=1e30, valueAndCap=(0.01 ETH, max)), AttackerVRF (price 0, requestId 1, fulfil at will), then GenesisVault(GOLD, attackerOracle, predictedGacha, now-3d, 5e26, 1e25, attacker) and BagGacha(attackerOracle, fakeVault, GoblinNFT, attackerVRF, attacker, attacker, now-3d, attacker).

Expected: bindGacha(fakeGacha) reverts (not the launch-2 gacha).

Actual: it succeeds, gold.balanceOf(fakeVault) == 5e26, then fundReserve(0.05 ETH), spin(0.01 ETH), AttackerVRF.fulfill, draw(), choose(keep), fakeVault.claim() moves GOLD to the attacker.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/BindGachaLookalike.t.sol (fails on current code with 'bindGacha accepted a look-alike BagGacha').

    • mediumExact-input buys and exact-output sells are charged hook fee and launch tax on the full specified ETH amount even when the pool consumes only part of it (price limit hit)src/GoldHook.sol:206

When ETH is the specified currency the hook takes fee+tax in beforeSwap from params.amountSpecified and re-derives the same amount in afterSwap (line 224), never looking at how much ETH the pool actually consumed (swapDelta.amount0). A v4 exact-input swap stops at sqrtPriceLimitX96; the unconsumed input is simply not taken from the swapper, but the hook's specified delta was already fixed at 1% (+tax) of the whole amount.

The swapper therefore pays a hook fee on ETH that never traded; during the first 10 minutes that is 91% of the whole specified amount. The same applies to exact-output sells (amountSpecified > 0, oneForZero): the fee is 1% of the requested ETH output even if the pool delivers less. Because afterSwap can only return an unspecified delta, the charge cannot be refunded there.

Minimal fix: in afterSwap, when _specifiedIsEth, compare the pool's consumed/delivered ETH leg (|amount0(swapDelta)|) with amount - fee - tax (buy) or amount + fee (sell) and revert on a partial fill, or move the whole charge to afterSwap on the unspecified side for buys by computing it from the realised amount0 and letting the specified side stay exact (fee then becomes an unspecified GOLD-side charge, a design change).

Not a launch blocker on its own, but the panel would raise it under 'no fee on unconsumed input'.

      Real v4 PoolManager, pool seeded with 100 ETH / 100 GOLD (L = 100e18), tax window over.

      Trader sends an exact-input buy of 10 ETH with sqrtPriceLimitX96 = 0.9999 * spot.

Expected: fee = 1% of the ETH consumed (about 0.0001 ETH on about 0.01 ETH swapped).

Actual (test/scratch/PartialFillFee.t.sol on this tree): swapper ETH delta = -0.110127595037984813 ETH, of which 0.1 ETH is hook fee (holderAccrued 0.05 ETH, reserveAccrued 0.05 ETH, 0.1 ETH ERC6909 claims minted) and only about 0.0101 ETH reached the pool: a fee ten times the swapped amount.

With the same swap at minute 5 (90% tax) the swapper loses 9.1 ETH of the 10 ETH for a 0.01 ETH trade.

    • mediumGenesis depth and 5% payout cap use the v4 pool's virtual ETH reserve (L*2^96/sqrtP), which a dust-sized single-tick-range position inflates ~100x; MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH and the per-draw cap are bypassablsrc/TwapOracle.sol:208

For v3 pools the oracle bounds the depth by the pool's real WETH balance (_liquidBalances, line 227). For the GOLD/ETH v4 pool it cannot read a per-pool balance, so ethSide is the full virtual reserve of the active liquidity L.

L of a position concentrated in one 60-tick range around the current price is about 1/0.003 = 333 times the ETH it actually holds, so anyone can satisfy the 1 ETH genesis depth check with about 3 mETH and multiply the payout cap (5% of ethSide, line 156) by two orders of magnitude for a few mETH of capital that can be withdrawn in the next block.

The v3.1 payout cap is the stated mitigation for TWAP manipulation at 1 ETH depth ('a single draw pays at most 5% of each token pool's current ETH-side depth'); with the cap inflated, a GOLD Bag or the Genesis quote pays its full value (up to 70P / the 3-day headroom) against a TWAP that 1 ETH of real depth cannot defend, and the attacker's narrow position also does not absorb the manipulating swap once the price leaves its tick.

Launch judge: would raise it as an economics finding; not blocking on its own since the reserve cap (5%) and tiers still bound a single Bag, but the README's safety argument for the 1 ETH threshold does not hold.

Minimal fix preserving the design: bound the genesis depth by what full-range liquidity would hold, e.g. compute ethSide from the ETH the active liquidity holds down to the pool's lower usable tick (SqrtPriceMath.getAmount0Delta(sqrtP, sqrtPriceAtTick(MIN_TICK rounded to spacing), L)) which is unchanged for full-range POL positions and small for narrow ones; or require the protocol's own POLManager/launch full-range position (its L is known on-chain via positions) to be the depth source; or take the cap from the minimum of depth at request time and at draw time.

      Real v4 PoolManager (test/scratch/DepthInflation.t.sol on this tree): pool seeded full range with 1 ETH / 1 GOLD (L = 1e18), 4h of ring history. payoutCap(GOLD) = 0.0500 ETH.

Attacker adds liquidityDelta 3e18 in the single range [tickLower, tickLower+60] containing the current tick, paying 0.0264 ETH and 0.0090 GOLD (about 0.035 ETH of capital in total).

Expected: depth and cap reflect roughly 1.035 ETH of ETH-side depth.

Actual: hook.liquidity() = 4e18, payoutCap(GOLD) = 0.2000 ETH (4x), i.e. about 86 ETH of reported depth per 1 ETH of capital; the same position with 0.0035 ETH alone passes MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH for an otherwise empty pool.

  3. Audit mathAgent #1438found 1 high, 2 medium, 1 low, 1 info

Review complete. The findings file holds five entries, each with a concrete failing state and a Foundry reproduction that I ran on the vendored PoolManager.

Launch 1 (GOLD + GoldHook): one blocking finding.

    • High, GoldHook.sol:207. Fee and launch tax are computed from the specified ETH amount in beforeSwap, before the pool knows how much it will consume. A 0.5 ETH exact-input buy stopped by a price limit paid 0.455 ETH of fee and tax while 0.001 ETH reached the pool. That contradicts the "no fee on unconsumed input" requirement. Proof test under test/scratch fails now and passes if partial fills revert. Precondition is a caller-set price limit, so the v4 periphery's default MIN/MAX routes are unaffected.
    • Low, GoldHook.sol:230. Exact-output buys pay the 1% fee on the net pool input, not on gross ETH. In the 90% window the holder fee is 0.1% of gross and the buyer gets 11% more GOLD per gross ETH than an exact-input buyer.
    • Info, GoldHook.sol:394. The 0.5 ETH cap is per swap call. Two max buys in one block succeeded.

Launch 2 (TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager): nothing blocks outright, two mediums a judge would raise.

    • Medium, TwapOracle.sol:208. Depth bound and 5% payout cap read spot liquidity and spot price. A same-transaction JIT liquidity add took the cap from 5 ETH to 255 ETH and back at zero cost, and the committed snapshot keeps the inflated value.
    • Medium, TwapOracle.sol:165. The genesis quote uses the larger of the two TWAP quotes. At 2.1 ETH depth, one 2.1 GOLD sell plus a 30 minute wait made every Genesis quote 3.95x the honest amount. The cap did not bind because it values the quote at the same pushed TWAP. Round-trip cost was 0.067 ETH.

Checked and found consistent: v4 delta packing and claim minting in both swap directions, the observation ring and binary search against v3 semantics, flush reentrancy and ETH custody, Bag split share conservation, liability earmarking, GenesisVault schedule and dividend accumulator rounding, POLManager settlement and full-range liquidity math, Curator bounds. Reproduction and proof files are in test/scratch. No source was changed.

    • highGoldHook charges fee and launch tax on the specified ETH input even when the pool consumes only part of it (price-limit partial fill)src/GoldHook.sol:207

For exact-input buys (zeroForOne, amountSpecified < 0) and exact-output sells, ETH is the specified currency and beforeSwap computes fee + tax from params.amountSpecified and returns it as the specified BeforeSwapDelta. The PoolManager hands that amount to the hook unconditionally; only the remainder goes through the pool, and if the swap stops at sqrtPriceLimitX96 the pool consumes a fraction of it.

The swapper's final delta is swapDelta - hookDelta, so they pay fee + tax on input that was never traded. In the first 10 minutes (90% tax + 1% fee) a 0.5 ETH exact-input buy with a tight limit loses 0.455 ETH for ~0.001 ETH of GOLD. This directly violates the stated requirement 'no fee on unconsumed input' and is a loss of user funds under an ordinary router input (price-limit slippage protection).

Launch judge: blocks (fee accounting requirement, user fund loss).

Precondition: the caller sets a sqrtPriceLimitX96 inside the swap's range (direct PoolManager integrations, PoolSwapTest-style routers, aggregators); the v4 periphery's ExactInputSingle passes MIN/MAX limits and is not affected, which is why this is a correctness defect of the hook rather than a drain.

Minimal fix preserving the design: in afterSwap, for the specified-ETH paths compare the pool's actual specified amount (-V4Lib.amount0(swapDelta) for an exact-input buy, V4Lib.amount0(swapDelta) for an exact-output sell) with amount - fee - tax (resp. amount + fee) and revert on a partial fill (PartialFill()), so a limit-stopped swap is rejected instead of over-charged.

The hook cannot refund the specified currency from afterSwap (only the unspecified delta is returnable), so the revert is the smallest correct change.

Real vendored PoolManager, pool initialized by the factory at 1:1, 100 ETH / 100 GOLD full-range liquidity, block.timestamp = launch (90% tax).

      Trader swaps exact input -0.5 ETH with sqrtPriceLimitX96 = SQRT_PRICE_1_1 * 99999 / 100000.

Expected: fee + tax <= 91% of the ETH the pool consumed, or the swap reverts.

Actual (forge log): ETH spent by swapper 456012668354531648; ETH consumed by pool 1012668354531648; fee + tax minted to the hook 455000000000000000 (= 0.5% + 90% of 0.5 ETH); GOLD out 0.001 GOLD.

    • mediumGenesis depth bound and 5% payout cap are read from spot liquidity and spot price, so a same-transaction JIT liquidity add inflates the committed cap at no costsrc/TwapOracle.sol:208

_checkGenesisPool derives ethSide from the pool's current active liquidity and current sqrtPrice, and _valueAndCap turns it into cap = ethDepth * 500 / 10000 (line 156). Both are spot reads, while the values they gate are committed in the spinner's own transaction (BagGacha._request -> _buildSnapshot / _commitGenesis) and reused at draw().

A spinner can wrap spin() between a full-range modifyLiquidity(+L) and modifyLiquidity(-L) in one transaction: the liquidity is returned in full, no fee is paid, and the snapshot records a cap that is arbitrarily larger than the pool's real depth, defeating the v3.1 'at most 5% of the pool's ETH-side depth per draw' bound and the 1 ETH minimum depth (a 0.5 ETH-deep pool passes while the JIT liquidity is present).

The same holds for v3 pools (_liquidBalances reads liquidity() and the pool's WETH balance, both raised by a JIT mint).

Impact: the per-draw extraction bound on thin pools, the main v3.1 safeguard against a mis-listed or manipulated token, can be removed by the party it is meant to bound.

Launch judge: would raise it; not a hard block on its own because it requires a Bag whose TWAP value exceeds the honest cap in the first place, but it must be weighed together with the panel-trust assumption.

Minimal fix: make the cap depend on something a single transaction cannot move, e.g. record the minimum of the depth observed at the previous snapshot and the current one (store lastDepth in the oracle or gacha and use min(lastDepth, depth)), or require the liquidity used for the cap to have been present for at least one block by reading it in GoldHook.beforeSwap/_write into the observation (a liquidity-cumulative) rather than spot.

Real PoolManager, genesis pool seeded 100 ETH / 100 GOLD (L = 100e18), TWAP history primed (warp 5 h, one swap).

      In one test function (one transaction): payoutCap(GOLD) = 4999506298752998141 (~5 ETH); add full-range liquidity 5000e18 via PoolModifyLiquidityTest; payoutCap(GOLD) = 254974821236402905213 (~255 ETH, 51x); remove the 5000e18; payoutCap(GOLD) = 4999506298752998141 again.

Expected: a cap/depth that one transaction cannot change; actual: the cap committed by any spin() placed between the add and the remove is 51x the pool's real depth.

      Test: test/scratch/Explore.t.sol::testJitInflatesCap (FOUNDRY_VIA_IR=false forge test --match-path test/scratch/Explore.t.sol --match-test testJitInflatesCap -vv).

    • mediumAt the 1-2 ETH genesis depth a 30-minute TWAP push multiplies the Genesis quote ~4x for ~0.06 ETH of fees; the payout cap cannot bind because it values the quote at the same pushed TWAPsrc/TwapOracle.sol:165

tokensForEth for the genesis token returns the larger of the 30-minute and 4-hour quotes, so only the short window has to be moved to inflate every GenesisVault quote.

With the pool at the design minimum depth (1-2 ETH of ETH-side virtual reserve) one exact-input sell of 2.1 GOLD (received 1.033 ETH) moves the tick by +13738 (price / 3.95); after 30 minutes with no other trade the 30-minute TWAP has fully moved and tokensForEth(GOLD, 0.0092 ETH) returns 3.95x the honest amount. BagGacha._commitGenesis caps the quote with valueAndCap(GOLD, quoted), but the value is computed at min(short, long) TWAP, i.e. at the pushed price, so value = 0.0092 ETH against a cap of 0.0528 ETH and nothing is clipped.

Buying back the 2.1 GOLD afterwards cost 1.1 ETH, a round-trip cost of 0.067 ETH (ending 0.0053 GOLD long), i.e. about 0.06 ETH to make every Genesis win in the following 30 minutes deliver GOLD worth ~0.036 ETH at the honest price for a 0.01 ETH spin; with the 60% genesis lane and ~1 draw per minute this is roughly 0.3 ETH of GOLD per cycle at the vault's expense, bounded only by the vault's 3-day-ahead ceiling.

Note the depth bound points the right way for this direction (selling GOLD halves the ETH-side depth), so at exactly 1 ETH of depth the attacker additionally needs the JIT liquidity of the previous finding or a pool at >= 2 ETH; neither costs anything.

Launch judge: raises it as the quantified manipulation cost at the chosen 1 ETH depth; a block depends on whether the requester accepts the thin-launch risk.

Minimal fix: use the min of the two quotes (Math.min) in tokensForEth so that both the 30-minute and the 4-hour window must be moved (raising the holding cost 8x), and/or value the genesis cap at the 4-hour TWAP rather than the min.

      Real PoolManager, second genesis pool with L = 2.1e18 at 1:1 (2.1 ETH ETH-side depth), TWAP primed (warp 5 h, dust buy). tokensForEth(GOLD, 0.0092 ether) = 9200000000000000 (honest).

Attacker sells exact input 2.1 GOLD: receives 1032962986984442130 wei, tick becomes 13738.

      Warp 30 minutes, no other trade. tokensForEth(GOLD, 0.0092 ether) = 36340571838600083 (3.95x); valueAndCap(GOLD, 36340571838600083) = (9199999999999999, 52830201053752922): the cap does not bind.

Buy back with 1.1 ETH exact input: attacker ends 5260495846862770 wei GOLD long, round-trip ETH cost 67037013015557870 (0.067 ETH).

Expected: a quote within the fee band of the 4-hour price or a cap that clips it; actual: 3.95x tokens, uncapped.

    • lowExact-output buys pay the hook fee on the net pool input, not on the gross ETH paid, so in the tax window the holder fee is 10x lower and 11% more GOLD is bought per gross ETH than with exact inputsrc/GoldHook.sol:230

For an exact-input buy _specifiedCharge takes fee = 1% and tax = taxBps of the gross amount the swapper pays. For an exact-output buy afterSwap takes fee = 1% of ethIn, the ETH the pool consumed, and tax = ethIn * t / (1 - t). The tax is consistent as a share of gross, the fee is not: gross = ethIn * (1 + 0.01 + t/(1-t)); at t = 90% the fee is 0.01 ethIn on a gross of 10.01 ethIn, i.e. 0.0999% of gross instead of 1%.

Consequently two buyers paying the same gross ETH get different amounts of GOLD and pay different holder fees depending on the swap mode: exact input 0.04055 ETH gross -> pool gets 0.00365 ETH; exact output 0.04055 ETH gross -> pool gets 0.00405 ETH (+11%). Outside the tax window the discrepancy is 0.99% vs 1% and immaterial.

Launch judge: notes it, no block. Fix (if parity is wanted): compute fee = gross * HOOK_FEE_BPS / BPS with gross solved from ethIn, e.g. gross = ethIn * BPS / (BPS - HOOK_FEE_BPS - taxBps), fee = gross * HOOK_FEE_BPS / BPS, tax = gross - fee - ethIn.

    • infoThe 0.5 ETH first-hour buy cap is enforced per swap call, so it is bypassed by repeating swaps in the same blocksrc/GoldHook.sol:394

_checkBuyCap compares only the current swap's ETH amount with MAX_EARLY_BUY; there is no per-address, per-block or cumulative bound. The README describes the cap as 'caps buys at 0.5 ETH in the first hour'; as implemented it caps the size of one swap, not what one buyer can buy, so it only forces a sniper to pay the fixed per-swap gas more often (and, inside the first 30 minutes, the tax on every slice).

Launch judge: records it as a trust/design note, no block, unless the launch brief meant a per-wallet cap. If a per-wallet bound is intended it needs the swapper identity, which the hook only sees as the router (sender), so it would have to be enforced per transaction origin or dropped from the description.

      Real PoolManager, launch block.

Two consecutive exact-input buys of -0.5 ether from the same trader in the same block both succeed; hook claims after them = 910000000000000000 wei (fee + tax on 1 ETH gross).

Expected under a per-buyer reading: the second swap reverts BuyTooLarge.

  4. Audit permissionsAgent #199found 1 critical, 1 high, 2 medium, 2 low

Everything is in place: no tracked file changed, the findings file and the three scratch tests exist, and git hides them only through the workspace's own exclude list.

Audit result: Goblin Gold v3.1 at 64a3c2f

Six findings are written to .imd-findings.json. Two carry failing Foundry proofs under test/scratch/. No source file was modified.

Launch 1 (GOLD + GoldHook): blocked.

    • Critical, GoldHook.sol:257. bindGacha pins only the BagGacha runtime code hash, nft() and genesis().token(). BagGacha keeps its wiring in storage precisely so every deployment shares one code hash, so anyone can deploy BagGacha with their own oracle, VRF wrapper, POLManager, team and curator, point genesis at any contract returning GOLD from token(), and bind it first. With remainder path B the whole GOLD remainder is forwarded to the attacker, and the 50% reserve share of every hook fee flows to the attacker's gacha forever since binding is one-time and there is no owner. Proof: test/scratch/BindGachaWiring.t.sol fails on current code. Fix: either pin the remaining wiring (vrf equals the Chainlink wrapper constant, polManager and oracle point back at this hook and token, vault code pinned) or restrict bindGacha to a binder address given to the constructor. Only the binder variant also covers team.
    • Medium, GoldHook.sol:207. Exact-input ETH buys and exact-output sells are charged fee and launch tax on the full specified amount even when the price limit leaves input unconsumed. Verified on the vendored PoolManager: a 0.5 ETH exact-input buy with a one-spacing price limit in minute 0 to 10 paid 0.485 ETH, the pool consumed 0.030 ETH, the hook kept 0.455 ETH. Fix: in afterSwap require that the net input was fully consumed, or compute the charge from the consumed amount0.

Launch 2 (TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager): blocked.

    • High, POLManager.sol:197. All adds go to one position, and v4 returns callerDelta = principal + feesAccrued. When the position's unclaimed ETH fees exceed the ETH half of a call, which is capped at 1 ETH, a0 is positive, _addFullRange treats it as nothing used and never takes it, and the unlock reverts CurrencyNotSettled. Every later addLiquidity reverts the same way and the POL budget, including the mint escrow share, is stranded. Proof: test/scratch/PolFeeBrick.t.sol fails with CurrencyNotSettled(). Fix: take positive a0 or a1 to the contract inside the callback.
    • Medium, TwapOracle.sol:165. The Genesis quote prices GOLD at the lower of the two TWAPs, so only the 30-minute window must be moved. At 2 ETH depth a seller moves the price by 4x while staying above the 1 ETH minimum, and each spin then pays about 0.0368 ETH of GOLD for 0.01 ETH, limited by the vault's 3-day-ahead ceiling and by whatever arbitrage takes during the hold. Mitigation: quote the Genesis lane at the conservative TWAP or require more depth before it opens.

    • criticalbindGacha accepts any BagGacha with the pinned code regardless of its oracle, VRF, POLManager, team and curator wiring: attacker binds a fake gacha, takes the GOLD remainder and the reserve fee share src/GoldHook.sol:257

BagGacha deliberately keeps all wiring in storage so every deployment shares one runtime code hash. bindGacha therefore proves only that the candidate runs BagGacha code, that nft() is GoblinNFT and that genesis().token() is GOLD.

Nothing checks genesis()'s own code (any contract with token()==GOLD passes), nor oracle, vrf, polManager, team or curator. bindGacha is permissionless and one-time, and the hook has no owner, so between launch 1 and the legitimate call after launch 2 (or by front-running that call) anyone deploys BagGacha(oracle=attacker, genesis=contract whose token() is GOLD, nft=GoblinNFT, vrf=attacker, polManager=attacker, team=attacker, startTime, curator=attacker) and binds it.

Consequences: (1) with remainder path B the entire GOLD launch remainder held by the hook is safeTransferred to the attacker's 'vault' (line 264); (2) reserveAccrued, 50% of every hook fee plus 100% of launch tax, is flushed into the attacker's gacha forever; with an attacker oracle (prices any token at any value), attacker VRF (chooses the word) and attacker as team, the attacker seals worthless tokens, spins, draws and takes the 88% buyback or 95% depositor payout from that reserve via withdrawCredit.

The real BagGacha can never be bound (AlreadyBound), so the reserve share of the real gacha is lost permanently. A launch judge blocks on this.

Minimal fix preserving the no-owner design: pin the rest of the wiring in bindGacha, e.g. require IHookGacha(gacha_).vrf() == the Chainlink VRF v2.5 wrapper constant 0x02aae1A04f9828517b3007f83f6181900CaD910c, IPOLManager(gacha_.polManager()).hook() == address(this) and .token() == token, ITwapOracle(gacha_.oracle()).goldHook() == address(this) and .genesisToken() == token, IGenesisVault(vault).gacha() == gacha_ and vault.codehash pinned like the gacha's, ICurator(gacha_.curator()).gacha() == gacha_; or alternatively restrict bindGacha to a binder address given to the constructor (the launch-2 deployer/factory).

The team recipient cannot be pinned by the hook, so the authorized-binder variant is the complete fix.

State: GoldHook deployed (any poolManager/token/factory), hook holds 1,000,000 GOLD (path B remainder), gacha()==0.

Input: attacker deploys BagGacha(box, AttackerVault(token()=GOLD), 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1, box, box, attacker, now, attacker) where box is any attacker contract, then calls hook.bindGacha(fake).

Expected: revert (wiring is not the launch's).

Actual: succeeds, hook.gacha()==fake, 1,000,000 GOLD transferred to AttackerVault, and all later flush() reserve shares go to fake.fundReserve().

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/BindGachaWiring.t.sol (fails with 'next call did not revert as expected' on current code).

    • mediumExact-input ETH swaps are charged fee and launch tax on the full specified amount even when the price limit leaves most of the input unconsumedsrc/GoldHook.sol:207

For exact-input buys (zeroForOne, amountSpecified<0) and exact-output sells, beforeSwap takes fee+tax on params.amountSpecified via the specified-currency hook delta, and afterSwap recomputes the same charge from params (line 224) and mints it, never looking at how much ETH the pool actually consumed (amount0 of swapDelta). When the swap stops at sqrtPriceLimitX96, the swapper pays consumed + 1% of specified + tax of specified.

In the first ten minutes (90% tax) a swapper who specifies 0.5 ETH with a limit one tick spacing below spot pays 0.485 ETH, of which the pool consumes 0.030 ETH and the hook keeps 0.455 ETH; the trader receives 0.0300 GOLD. The brief's own priority list names 'no fee on unconsumed input'. Not a direct protocol loss, but a user-funds defect that a judge would raise; routers that pass tight price limits (slippage-protected swaps) are affected.

Minimal fix: in afterSwap for the _specifiedIsEth() branch, read a0 = V4Lib.amount0(swapDelta) and require that the pool consumed the whole net input, i.e. for exact-input buys uint256(uint128(-a0)) == amount - fee - tax (and for exact-output sells uint256(uint128(a0)) == amount + fee), reverting with PartialFill otherwise; or compute the charge from the consumed amount and refund the difference to sender through poolManager.take before minting.

Vendored v4 PoolManager, pool initialized at 1:1 by the factory, 10 ETH full-range liquidity, block.timestamp within 10 min of launch.

      Input: swapRouter.swap{value:0.5 ether}(key, SwapParams(true, -0.5 ether, TickMath.getSqrtPriceAtTick(-60)), ...).

Expected: fee+tax proportional to the ~0.030 ETH consumed (about 0.0277 ETH).

Actual: hook.holderAccrued()+hook.reserveAccrued() == 0.455 ether, trader balance down 0.485423838610044818 ETH, GOLD received 0.029953549559107809.

Harness: test/scratch/PartialFillFee.t.sol (verification only; it asserts the overcharge and passes on current code).

    • highPOLManager.addLiquidity cannot settle positive fee deltas on its own full-range position: once accrued ETH fees exceed the ETH half of a call (max 1 ETH) every addLiquidity reverts CurrencyNotSettled src/POLManager.sol:197

All adds go to one position (TICK_LOWER, TICK_UPPER, salt 0). v4 PoolManager.modifyLiquidity returns callerDelta = principalDelta + feesAccrued and accounts that net delta to POLManager (test/v4-core/PoolManager.sol:170,182). _addFullRange treats a positive a0 or a1 as 'nothing used' and settles nothing, leaving a positive, un-taken currency delta; the unlock then reverts CurrencyNotSettled.

Because addLiquidity caps ethIn at 2 ETH (so principal ETH <= 1 ETH), the moment the position's unclaimed ETH fees exceed roughly 1 ETH (1.25% LP fee on the POL share of ETH volume since the previous add, e.g. 30% share of 270 ETH volume during a period with no POL budget to add) the contract can never add liquidity again and polBudget plus pullMintEscrow proceeds are stuck; buyAndBurn is unaffected. Same for the GOLD side when accrued GOLD fees exceed the tokens bought.

Minimal fix: in _addFullRange, when a0 > 0 call poolManager.take(address(0), address(this), uint256(uint128(a0))) and when a1 > 0 take the token to address(this) (leftovers already recycle via recycle()/next call), so the callback always zeroes both deltas.

State: POLManager holds a full-range position; since its last add the pool traded enough ETH volume that the position's unclaimed currency0 fees F0 exceed the ETH half of the next call (<= 1 ETH; for a POL liquidity share s, ETH-side volume > 1/(0.0125*s)).

      Input: addLiquidity(ethIn) for any 2 <= ethIn <= 2 ether.

Expected: liquidity added, accrued fees taken or rolled in.

Actual: modifyLiquidity returns callerDelta.amount0() = F0 - P0 > 0, _addFullRange sets ethUsed = 0 and neither settles nor takes it, PoolManager.unlock reverts CurrencyNotSettled(); every later addLiquidity reverts the same way and polBudget (mint-escrow POL share plus spin POL shares) is stranded; buyAndBurn still works.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/PolFeeBrick.t.sol (vendored v4 PoolManager, 0.001 ETH seed, POL adds 0.02 ETH, 60 buy/sell rounds of 0.02 ETH, second addLiquidity(0.02 ether) fails with CurrencyNotSettled()).

    • mediumGenesis Bag quote uses the 30-minute TWAP alone on the thin GOLD pool: depressing the price for 30 minutes multiplies GOLD paid per spin, at a manipulation cost of pool fees only when arbitrage is abssrc/TwapOracle.sol:165

tokensForEth returns the larger of the 30-minute and 4-hour quotes, i.e. prices GOLD at the lower of the two TWAPs; GenesisVault.quote converts (1-d)*0.01 ETH at that price, and BagGacha._commitGenesis values the result with valueAndCap at the same lower TWAP, so gValue always equals (1-d)P and the 5% cap (0.05 ETH at 1 ETH depth) never binds on a Genesis Bag. A seller can therefore move the 30-minute TWAP without touching the 4-hour one.

With the pool at 2 ETH ETH-side depth (the README asks only for >= 1 ETH), selling about 1 ETH worth of GOLD moves sqrtP by 2x, quarters the GOLD price and leaves 1 ETH depth so the MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH check still passes; after 30 quiet minutes every spin (0.01 ETH + VRF fee) pays 0.0092 ETH * 4 = 0.0368 ETH of GOLD at the honest price, about 0.025 ETH profit per spin, repeatable once per VRF round until the vault's 3-day-ahead ceiling binds; round-trip cost is 2 x 2.25% of 1 ETH (0.045 ETH) plus whatever arbitrageurs take while the price is held, which on a 1-2 ETH pool in the first days may be nothing.

At exactly 1 ETH depth any sell trips ThinPool, so the attack needs depth above the minimum, which the minimum does not prevent. Not a code bug in isolation; a judge weighing 'manipulation cost at the 1 ETH genesis depth' would raise it.

Minimal mitigations: price the Genesis quote at the higher of the two TWAPs for tokensForEth on the genesis token (min tokens, conservative for the vault) or require depth >= e.g. 10 ETH before the Genesis lane opens.

      State: GOLD/ETH v4 pool, full-range L such that L*2^96/sqrtP = 2 ETH, 4 hours of quiet history at tick T0, vault funded.

Input: attacker sells GOLD until sqrtP doubles (ETH reserve 2 -> 1 ETH, GOLD price / 4), waits 30 minutes with no other trades, then calls spin() repeatedly (draw, choose keep, claim).

Expected: Genesis Bag worth about (1-d)*0.01 ETH at the honest price.

Actual: TwapOracle.tokensForEth(GOLD, 0.0092 ETH) returns 4x the honest token count (30m TWAP tick = T0 + ln(4)/ln(1.0001) ~ T0+13863), GenesisVault.commit reserves 4x tokens, valueAndCap reports value 0.0092 ETH so the 0.05 ETH cap does not bind, and the spinner receives GOLD worth 0.0368 ETH at the restored price for 0.01 ETH.

    • lowAn unfulfilled VRF request locks the gacha forever, including depositors' withdraw(), since there is no timeout or rerollsrc/BagGacha.sol:435

_request sets pending=true and only rawFulfillRandomWords from the wrapper followed by draw() clears it. If the Chainlink wrapper never delivers (wrapper paused or deprecated, coordinator failure, request dropped) every spin reverts DrawPending and every depositor's withdraw() reverts DrawPending indefinitely, so all sealed Bag tokens and the locked liability are frozen with no recovery path.

The README records this as the accepted 'VRF liveness tradeoff'; it is documented here as the trust assumption a judge would want stated explicitly, not as a bypass. If a recovery is wanted without an owner, a long timeout (e.g. 24 h) after which anyone may cancel the pending request, refund req.paid to the spinner's credits, release the liability and uncommit the genesis tokens preserves the no-admin design.

State: any spin() succeeded, pending==true, the wrapper never calls rawFulfillRandomWords.

Input: any depositor calls withdraw(bagId) after 24 h, or anyone calls spin()/draw().

      Expected: a way to exit.

Actual: withdraw and spin revert DrawPending, draw reverts NotFulfilled, forever.

    • lowwithdraw() waives the 0.5% exit fee whenever the Bag is momentarily unpriceable, which for GOLD Bags only needs one quiet hour on the v4 poolsrc/BagGacha.sol:438

TwapOracle reverts StalePool for GOLD when the hook's last observation is older than MAX_STALENESS (1 hour); observations are written only by swaps. A depositor of a GOLD (or any thin-pool token) Bag can wait for a quiet hour, or simply withdraw during the first 4 hours after launch when observe() reverts OldObservation, and exit fee-free.

The fee is documented as waived for 'delisted, stale or thin' pools, so this is a documented design choice; it is listed because the staleness condition is trivially reachable on the genesis pool and the fee is the reserve's only compensation for listing churn.

State: Bag of GOLD sealed and matured, no swap on the GOLD pool for 3601 seconds.

      Input: depositor calls withdraw(bagId) with msg.value 0.

Expected (if fee were intended): revert WrongPayment.

Actual: bagValue reverts StalePool inside the try, fee = 0, withdrawal succeeds with no exit fee.

  5. Audit economicsAgent #358found 1 critical, 1 high, 2 medium

The findings file is in place at the repository root with four substantiated findings, each with a Foundry reproduction that fails on the current code. No source file was changed.

Launch 1 (GOLD + GoldHook): blocked.

    • Critical, src/GoldHook.sol:257. The one-time permissionless bindGacha only checks the candidate's runtime code hash, its nft() and its genesis().token(). BagGacha keeps all wiring in storage so that its code hash is deployment-independent, which means an attacker's BagGacha wired to their own oracle, VRF, POL, team, curator and a vault with a 540-day-old start time passes every check. Under remainder path B the hook forwards the whole GOLD remainder to the attacker's vault, and under both paths the reserve half of the hook fee plus the entire launch tax is flushed to the attacker forever. The real gacha then reverts with AlreadyBound. Proof in test/scratch/BindGachaHijack.t.sol. Minimal fix: require the candidate to equal the NFT owner's reserveTarget() and vrfTarget() and reorder the runbook so setLaunchTargets precedes bindGacha.
    • Medium, src/GoldHook.sol:385. Fee and tax on ETH-specified swaps are taken from amountSpecified, never from the consumed amount. A 0.5 ETH exact-input buy stopped by its price limit in the 90% window consumed about 1.3e10 wei and paid 0.455 ETH. Proof in test/scratch/PartialFillFee.t.sol. Fix: in afterSwap compare the pool's consumed amount with the charged basis and reject partial fills.

Launch 2 (TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager): blocked.

    • High, src/TwapOracle.sol:206. The 5% payout cap and the 1 ETH genesis depth read instantaneous active liquidity. Concentrated liquidity in the active 60-tick range costs about 0.3% of notional per side, so roughly 3 ETH plus 3 GOLD posted and withdrawn in the same block raise the cap from 0.05 ETH to 50 ETH. BagGacha commits the cap at spin-request time, so a bundled spin is drawn and bought back against the inflated cap. Proof in test/scratch/JitPayoutCap.t.sol. Fix: record liquidity in the hook's observation ring and let the oracle use the minimum of current and 30-minute-old liquidity.
    • Medium, src/POLManager.sol:41. The slippage constant subtracts 1250 bps for the 1.25% LP fee, so permissionless buyAndBurn and addLiquidity accept 83.5% of the TWAP quote instead of the documented 94.75%, which a sandwich can extract chunk by chunk. Proof in test/scratch/PolMinOut.t.sol. Fix: use 125.

Checked and found consistent. The pinned BagGacha code hash equals the launch-profile build. Hook delta accounting balances for all four swap shapes, no ETH can be stuck in the hook, flush is reentrancy-safe, the ERC6909 claim total equals the accrued shares, the ring binary search follows Uniswap v3, VRF request formatting and the 100k callback fit, Curator attestations are domain-bound, consumed once and bounds-checked, GenesisVault commit and claim accounting conserve tokens, and the NFT escrow pulls match the targets. Documented trust assumptions remain: a stuck VRF request freezes withdrawals permanently, Curator proposals must be answered and executed within about 300 blocks of their window, and 30-minute TWAP depression in a 1 ETH-deep pool cheapens Genesis quotes within the schedule and cap bounds.

    • criticalbindGacha accepts any BagGacha with the pinned runtime code: attacker-wired gacha captures the GOLD remainder and the reserve fee streamsrc/GoldHook.sol:257

GoldHook.bindGacha (src/GoldHook.sol:255-265) is one-time and permissionless. It accepts a candidate when (1) its runtime code hash equals GACHA_RUNTIME_CODE_HASH, (2) gacha.nft() == GoblinNFT and (3) gacha.genesis().token() == GOLD. BagGacha deliberately keeps all wiring (oracle, genesis, nft, vrf, polManager, team, curator, startTime) in storage with no immutables so that every deployment has the same runtime code.

      Consequently anybody can deploy a GenesisVault(token=GOLD, oracle=, gacha=, startTime=<540 days ago>, ...) and a BagGacha(oracle=, genesis=, nft=GoblinNFT, vrf=, polManager=, team=, curator=) whose code hash, nft() and genesis().token() all satisfy the check, and call bindGacha first (or front-run the honest bind).

Effects: gacha is set permanently to the attacker's contract (AlreadyBound for the real one, no owner and no reset); under remainder path B the hook forwards the entire launch-1 GOLD remainder to the attacker's vault, whose attacker-controlled oracle and VRF address let the attacker's gacha emit the whole supply to itself (startTime in the past makes target()==distributable, the attacker oracle returns any tokensForEth/valueAndCap); under both paths every future reserve share of the 1% hook fee and 100% of the 90/50/25% launch tax is flushed to the attacker gacha's fundReserve(), where the attacker extracts it through its own buyback flow.

The real BagGacha is unfundable from the hook forever. A launch judge would block launch 1 on this.

Minimal fix (keeps the no-owner, permissionless design): bind only the gacha the NFT owner has named as the launch target, e.g. in bindGacha add if (IGoblinNFTTargets(NFT).reserveTarget() != gacha_ || IGoblinNFTTargets(NFT).vrfTarget() != gacha_) revert GachaMismatch(); and reorder the runbook so setLaunchTargets precedes bindGacha; alternatively restrict bindGacha to factory/a binder immutable.

Checking more getters (oracle, vrf, polManager) is not sufficient because team, curator and the vault's startTime are also free words.

State: GoldHook deployed with token=GOLD, holding 500_000 GOLD (path B remainder), unbound.

Input: attacker deploys GenesisVault(GOLD, attackerStub, predictedGacha, now-600d, 1e24, 2e22, attacker) and BagGacha(attackerStub, thatVault, 0xC5d5F314da6d4a433F9BF897a2cC24A537576cB1, attackerStub, attackerStub, attacker, now-600d, attacker), then calls hook.bindGacha(attackerGacha).

Expected: revert (not the launch's BagGacha).

Actual: succeeds, hook.gacha()==attackerGacha, gold.balanceOf(attackerVault)==500_000e18, and hook.bindGacha(realGacha) then reverts AlreadyBound.

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/BindGachaHijack.t.sol (fails on this code with 'attacker gacha bound to the hook').

    • high5% payout cap and 1 ETH genesis depth read the pool's instantaneous active liquidity: same-block JIT concentrated liquidity inflates the cap 1000x and is committed into the spin snapshotsrc/TwapOracle.sol:206

The v3.1 extraction bound for GOLD (and the MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH gate) is 5% of L * 2^96 / sqrtP where L is the pool's current in-range liquidity read from PoolManager state, with no time weighting. Liquidity in the active tick-spacing range [-60, 60] costs about 0.3% of its notional on each side: adding L = 1e21 (1000x the 1 ETH genesis depth) needs ~3 ETH + ~3 GOLD, all returned when the position is removed in the same block.

BagGacha commits oracle.valueAndCap at spin-request time (_buildSnapshot -> bagPayout and _commitGenesis) and the committed values are what draw() pays and what the 88% ETH buyback is computed on.

So a bundle [add JIT liquidity, spin(), remove JIT liquidity] in one block snapshots the inventory against a cap of ~50 ETH instead of 0.05 ETH, which turns the cap off for that draw: a GOLD Bag whose TWAP value was pushed up over 4 hours in the 1 ETH-deep pool (the attack the cap exists to bound) is bought back from the reserve at 88% of the manipulated value, and the Genesis quote is uncapped. The attacker pays gas, one spin and the LP fee exposure of one block.

The same JIT add also satisfies MIN_GENESIS_DEPTH for a pool that really holds less than 1 ETH.

Minimal fix: make the depth time-weighted instead of instantaneous, e.g. record the active liquidity in each GoldHook observation (as Uniswap v3 records secondsPerLiquidityCumulative) and let TwapOracle take min(current L, L at the observation 30 minutes ago) (or the harmonic mean over the short window); a same-block or short-lived add then cannot raise the cap.

Launch judge: blocks launch 2 under economics, since the cap is the control the v3.1 change relies on.

State: pool at ~1:1 with 1e18 full-range liquidity (ethDepth ~1 ETH, cap ~0.05 ETH), 4 h of ring history, fresh observation.

Input (one block, attacker): lpRouter.modifyLiquidity(key, {tickLower:-60, tickUpper:60, liquidityDelta:+1e21}) with 4 ETH and 10 GOLD available, read oracle.payoutCap(GOLD), then modifyLiquidity with liquidityDelta -1e21.

Expected: payoutCap stays ~0.05 ETH (the depth the pool durably backs).

Actual: payoutCap == 50054893013124999999 wei (~50.05 ETH) between the two calls and ~0.05 ETH again after the remove; ~3.0 ETH and ~3.0 GOLD were posted and fully returned.

    • mediumPOLManager MIN_OUT_BPS subtracts 1250 bps for the 1.25% LP fee: slippage bound is 83.5% instead of the documented 94.75%src/POLManager.sol:41

The v4 pool fee 12500 is in hundredths of a bip (1.25% = 125 bps). The constant treats it as 1250 bps (12.5%), so buyAndBurn and addLiquidity accept any output >= 83.5% of the TWAP quote instead of the designed 94.75% (1.25% LP + 1% hook + 3% impact, as the comment and README state).

Both functions are permissionless and spend protocol ETH (burn budget from 4% of spins; POL budget from 50% of the ~10 ETH mint escrow plus 40%/2% of spins), so an MEV searcher can call them inside a sandwich and push the price up to ~11.25% further than intended before the call, pocketing that extra on every 1 ETH chunk until the budgets are spent.

At 1 ETH virtual depth the 1 ETH chunk already exceeds the bound and reverts, so the exposure is in the deeper pool the design expects after POL adds.

      Minimal fix: MIN_OUT_BPS = 10_000 - 125 - 100 - 300 (9475).

Launch judge: would raise as a math defect in the economics section; not by itself a block but should be corrected before launch 2.

      Input: read POLManager.MIN_OUT_BPS.

      Expected: 9475 (10_000 - POOL_FEE/100 - 100 - 300).

      Actual: 8350.

Consequence for buyAndBurn(1 ether) with TWAP quote Q tokens: minOut = 0.835Q instead of 0.9475Q; a swap returning 0.84*Q passes although it is 10.75 points below the design bound.

      Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/PolMinOut.t.sol (fails: 8350 != 9475).

    • mediumGoldHook charges fee and launch tax on the full specified ETH amount even when the pool consumes only part of it (partial fills)src/GoldHook.sol:385

For swaps whose specified currency is ETH (exact-input buys and exact-output sells) the hook computes fee and tax in beforeSwap from params.amountSpecified and takes that amount as a specified-currency BeforeSwapDelta; afterSwap re-derives the same figure from the params, never from the swapDelta the PoolManager hands it.

When the swap stops at sqrtPriceLimitX96 before the input is used up (or, for exact-output sells, delivers less ETH than specified), the swapper is still debited 1% + tax of the whole specified amount. Inside the 90% window an exact-input buy of 0.5 ETH whose limit sits one notch under spot consumes ~1.3e10 wei of ETH and pays 0.455 ETH of fee+tax, i.e. a charge 3.5e7 times the consumed input. After the window the overcharge is 1% of the unconsumed input.

The ETH is not lost to the protocol (it is minted as claims and flushed), but it is a fee on input the pool never consumed, which the task's fee-accounting requirement forbids, and routers that set a real price limit (limit orders, split routes) hit it.

Minimal fix: in afterSwap, for the specified-ETH case, read the consumed amount from swapDelta (-amount0(swapDelta) for buys, amount0(swapDelta) for sells) and revert with a PartialFill error when it differs from amount - fee - tax (buys) / amount (sells); with full-range POL liquidity the pool never runs dry, so only limit-stopped swaps are rejected.

Launch judge: raises under fee accounting; medium, not a block by itself.

State: pool initialized at 1:1 with 1e18 full-range liquidity, 60 s after launch (90% tax).

      Input: swap zeroForOne=true, amountSpecified=-0.5e18, sqrtPriceLimitX96 = 2^96 - 1e21.

Expected: fee+tax <= 91% of the ETH the pool consumed (~1.2e10 wei).

Actual: holderAccrued+reserveAccrued = 455000000000000000 wei while the pool consumed 12781543943 wei.

  6. Audit judgeAgent #1858found 1 critical, 3 high, 2 medium, 3 low, 1 info

The review is complete. No source files were changed. The findings are in .imd-findings.json at the repository root, with ten findings and four attached proofs, all run against the vendored Uniswap v4 PoolManager on this tree.

    Verdict per launch

    • Launch 1 (GOLD + GoldHook): blocked. The permissionless one-time bind accepts any BagGacha deployed from the published source, and the hook charges fee and tax on ETH the pool never consumed.
    • Launch 2 (TwapOracle, GenesisVault, BagGacha, Curator, POLManager): blocked. POLManager can brick its own liquidity adds, and the 5% payout cap that v3.1 relies on is defeated by transient narrow liquidity.

    Findings kept, most severe first

    1. Critical, GoldHook.sol:257. bindGacha pins only the runtime code hash, nft() and genesis().token(). BagGacha keeps all wiring in storage, so an attacker's deployment with their own oracle, VRF, vault and team passes, takes the path-B GOLD remainder and the reserve fee stream forever. Three specialist reports merged. Proof fails on this code.
    2. High, POLManager.sol:197. A positive fee delta from modifyLiquidity on the single POL position is neither settled nor taken. Once unclaimed ETH fees exceed the add's principal (at most 1 ETH), every addLiquidity reverts with CurrencyNotSettled and the POL budget is stranded. Proof fails on this code.
    3. High, GoldHook.sol:207. Exact-input buys and exact-output sells are charged on the full specified ETH amount even when a price limit stops the swap early. Reproduced at 0.1 ETH fee on 0.0101 ETH consumed, and 0.455 ETH fee plus tax for 0.001 GOLD in the tax window. Four specialist reports merged. My own proof fails on this code.
    4. High, TwapOracle.sol:208. Depth and cap read spot active liquidity. A one-tick-range position costing about 3 ETH, added and removed in one transaction, raises the cap from 0.05 ETH to 50.05 ETH, and 0.003 ETH passes the 1 ETH genesis depth on a 0.5 ETH pool. Three specialist reports merged. My own proof fails on this code.
    5. Medium, TwapOracle.sol:166. A 30-minute TWAP push on a 2.1 ETH pool multiplies the Genesis quote 3.95x for a 0.067 ETH round trip, and the cap cannot bind because value is computed at the same pushed price.
    6. Medium, POLManager.sol:41. MIN_OUT_BPS is 8350, not the documented 9475, because the pool fee was treated as 1250 bps instead of 125.
    7. Low and info. Exact-output fee base inconsistency, VRF liveness lock with no timeout, exit-fee waiver on a stale pool, and the per-swap rather than per-buyer 0.5 ETH cap.

Dropped or merged. Nothing a specialist reported failed to reproduce. The bindGacha, partial-fill, JIT-cap and TWAP-push findings each appeared in two to four reports and were merged into one finding each, with the strongest numbers kept.

Coverage limits. The Curator attestation bounds, the GenesisVault dividend schedule and the Bag splitting arithmetic in BagGacha were read only for the paths the findings touch. No Slither or fork tests ran. Only forge build and forge test under the via_ir profile were used.

    • criticalbindGacha accepts any look-alike BagGacha: only the runtime code hash, nft() and genesis().token() are pinned, so the first caller binds an attacker-wired gacha, takes the GOLD remainder and the resersrc/GoldHook.sol:257

    • highPOLManager._addFullRange never settles a positive (fee) delta on its single position: once the position's unclaimed ETH or GOLD fees exceed the add's principal, every addLiquidity reverts CurrencyNotSsrc/POLManager.sol:197

    • highGoldHook charges the 1% hook fee and the launch tax on the full specified ETH amount of exact-input buys and exact-output sells, even when the pool consumes only part of it (price-limit partial fill)src/GoldHook.sol:207

Real vendored PoolManager, pool initialized by the factory at 1:1, 100 ETH / 100 GOLD full-range liquidity.

      2. At launch (90% tax): exact-input buy of 0.5 ETH with limit spot * 0.99999. Actual: ETH spent 456012668354531648, fee+tax minted 455000000000000000, GOLD out 1000000000000000 (0.001 GOLD). • highGenesis depth and the 5% payout cap are read from the pool's instantaneous active liquidity: a narrow or same-transaction JIT position inflates the cap ~1000x for ~3 ETH that is fully returned, and 3 src/TwapOracle.sol:208

    • mediumGenesis quote prices GOLD at the lower of the 30-minute and 4-hour TWAPs, so a 30-minute push on the 1-2 ETH-deep pool multiplies every Genesis Bag ~4x for ~0.067 ETH of round-trip cost, and the 5% casrc/TwapOracle.sol:166

tokensForEth for the genesis token returns the larger of the two quotes (the lower price), so only the 30-minute window needs to move.

    • lowwithdraw() waives the 0.5% exit fee whenever the Bag is momentarily unpriceable, which for GOLD Bags only needs one hour without a swap on the v4 pool or the first 4 hours after launchsrc/BagGacha.sol:438

    • infoThe 0.5 ETH first-hour buy cap is enforced per swap call, not per buyer, so it is bypassed by repeating 0.5 ETH swaps in the same blocksrc/GoldHook.sol:394

Run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/Verify.t.sol --match-test testBuyCapSplit -vv.
