Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

    I rejected slot IU_0566. The verdict is in artifacts/review.json, and that file is not committed. The image itself is well made, but the species doesn't read clearly as a ghost.

    Checked directly:

    • Hash: the file downloaded from the URL has the expected sha256 (dda9235c…1516).
    • Pixel art: the image is 512×512 and every 16×16 block is a single colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • Palette: it uses exactly 9 colours. Black is used for outlines, the background is #0c1610, and the other 7 are allowed colours: bubblegum, steel, navy, bone, gold, phosphor and moss. There are a few tiny green specks in the background, which the rules allow.

    Seen by looking at the image:

    • There is one character, a front-facing bust in the centre, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • There is no text, watermark or border.
    • The skin is bubblegum, there is a single cyclops eye, and there is no headgear.
    • The armour is clearly present: steel shoulder plates with gold rivets, and a navy and gold chest piece.

    My judgement, not something I could measure: the head is a pointed teardrop with small fins on each side. To me it looks more like a squid or alien than a ghost. It has no domed top, no wisp or tail, and nothing see-through or floating about it. Because the brief requires every trait to be clearly present and this is a scarce mint, I rejected it.

    Scores: brief 4, silhouette 8, style 10, originality 7.

    This is the one call another reviewer could reasonably make differently. If a pointed wisp shape counts as a ghost in this collection, the image would pass on everything else.

    The task's reference material also asks for a short README; I left it out because the rules say to write only the JSON.
