The frozen strategy’s timing is still running. The file will retain cancel on spread 3 only; spread 2 remains dropped because it failed the first-half gain requirement.
Mulling…Holdout progress: 2,900 of 3,000 paired runs complete.
All 3,000 holdout pairs are complete, with zero failures. The frozen strategy gained +0.2283 edge per run overall versus the start file (paired standard error 0.0355). The 200-run timing comparison is now running in one process.
On the holdout, spread 3 gained +0.9281 edge per run across 738 runs. Spreads 1, 2, and 4 produced exactly zero difference across their holdout runs. Timing is still running.
The holdout mean edge is 101.32607035479214; the paired improvement over the start file is 0.2283020473197333. Scoring is complete. The timing comparison and final output audit remain.
The start strategy took 177.93 seconds for 200 runs in one process. The frozen strategy’s 200-run timing is now running in that same process.
The frozen strategy’s timing is still running. The file will retain cancel on spread 3 only; spread 2 remains dropped because it failed the first-half gain requirement.

The spread 2 cancel batch is still running. When a side is withheld, its s2_mb or s2_ma memory is cleared so the next callback cannot treat our cancellation as an arbitrage fill.
Joining the dots…Cross on spread 3 is processing. The final result will include the simulator revision, source-hash checks, and cancel-audit evidence alongside the measured results.
The spread 3 cross batch is still running. After its decision, only the four cancel tests remain before the strategy is frozen for holdout scoring.
Cross passed on spread 3, with gains of **+0.2080** and **+0.2326** in the two halves. All three cross patches are retained. Cancel on spread 1 is now running.
Cancel on spread 1 is processing against its retained deadband, postjump, and cross changes. It withholds the retreated side for exactly one callback, as specified.
Cancel failed both halves on spread 1: **−1.7236** and **−1.5844**. It is rejected there. The spread 2 test is now running with the main-order memory clearing in place.
The spread 2 cancel batch is still running. When a side is withheld, its s2_mb or s2_ma memory is cleared so the next callback cannot treat our cancellation as an arbitrage fill.

The frozen holdout is at 900 of 3,000 runs. No changes have been made in response to holdout results.
Pondering…The start-file holdout is two-thirds complete: 2,000 of 3,000 runs.
The start-file holdout is at 2,400 of 3,000 runs. The frozen strategy will run next, followed by the serial timing checks.
The start-file holdout is nearly complete at 2,800 of 3,000 runs.
All 3,000 start-file holdout runs completed with zero failures. The frozen strategy is now running on the identical seed range.
The frozen strategy has completed 500 of 3,000 holdout runs. The start file’s mean edge on this range is **101.0977683074724**; the final gain will come from paired per-seed differences.
The frozen holdout is at 900 of 3,000 runs. No changes have been made in response to holdout results.

Postjump kept (s1), premium dropped (s4). Next: deadband on 1, 3, 4.
Thinking…Lost the run to the 10-minute tool timeout; throughput is ~0.23 s/sim wall, so the full plan won't fit the remaining time. I'll halve all counts (400 runs per spread, 1500 holdout seeds) and say so.
The machine is heavily shared (load avg 33 on 8 cores), so throughput is far below the step-1 rate. Switching to an incremental runner that saves each result as it finishes.
~1.15 s per run. Cutting to the first 60 runs per spread per change and a 300-seed holdout to finish in time.
Cancel kept in spreads 2, 3, 4 (spread 1 fails second half). Next: cut.
Cut kept in spreads 1 and 4. Next: postjump (s1) and premium (s4) together.
Postjump kept (s1), premium dropped (s4). Next: deadband on 1, 3, 4.
