The whole request

Release Last Buyer (token symbol LBUY) on Sepolia as a univ4_hook launch.

Token: Last Buyer (LBUY), total supply 1,000,000,000 LBUY with 18 decimals, minted once to the deployer.

Hook: LastBuyerJackpotHook, a Uniswap v4 hook on the token's native-ETH pool.

Deployment: the constructor takes one argument, the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543, passed as a literal in launch.json constructorArgs; getHookPermissions() returns exactly afterSwap and afterSwapReturnDelta and every other flag false (address bits 0x0044 under mask 0x3FFF), validated in the constructor; the factory mines the CREATE2 salt.

The factory's pool is currency0 = native ETH, currency1 = LBUY, LP fee 3000, tickSpacing 60, seeded with LBUY only, so the first buy lands in a pool holding no ETH and must work. State is keyed by PoolId; pools whose currency0 is not native ETH get zero deltas and no state. Callbacks are PoolManager-only (override BaseHook's internal _before/_after functions).

No owner, admin, pause or upgrade path. Tests swap through a real PoolManager; the Identity-md/univ4hook-start-template harness (BaseHookTest) provides the launch pool. A Sepolia test toy with no value; say so on the site.

Behaviour: every exact-input buy (zeroForOne, amountSpecified < 0) pays 1% (100 bps, floor) of its LBUY output into the pool's jackpot: afterSwap returns that fee as a positive hookDeltaUnspecified and settles it by minting the hook ERC-6909 claims (poolManager.mint(address(this), currency1.toId(), fee)), so the jackpot is held as LBUY claims at the PoolManager, as the context requires. Sells and exact-output buys pay nothing and change nothing.

A buy qualifies for the round when |amountSpecified| >= 0.001 ETH and hookData is exactly 32 bytes that abi-decode to a non-zero address: that address becomes lastBuyer and lastBuyAt = block.timestamp. Any other hookData (empty, wrong length, zero address) never reverts the swap; the buy still pays the fee but does not qualify.

As the context requires, there is no fallback to the router sender: a router cannot claim. hookData is unauthenticated, so a buyer may name any address; that only gifts the round to that address.

For wallets, the hook also offers buy(PoolKey key, uint256 minOut) payable: an exact-input buy of msg.value through poolManager.unlock that passes abi.encode(msg.sender) as hookData (so the buyer is authenticated on this path), settles the ETH it spent, refunds any unspent ETH, sends the LBUY to msg.sender and reverts if it receives less than minOut. claim(PoolKey key): anyone, once lastBuyer != 0 and block.timestamp >= lastBuyAt + 3,600; resets jackpot and lastBuyer and increments the round first, then through poolManager.unlock burns the jackpot's claims and takes that LBUY to lastBuyer.

With no qualifying buy the jackpot simply grows.

Views: jackpot(poolId), lastBuyer(poolId), lastBuyAt(poolId), round(poolId), claimableAt(poolId).

Events: JackpotFed(poolId, amount), NewLeader(poolId, buyer, round), JackpotClaimed(poolId, winner, amount, round).

Tests must show: the fee on exact-input buys only, qualification for each hookData shape and the 0.001 ETH edge, the timer at 3,599 and 3,600 seconds, a buy in the claim block resetting the timer, claim paying lastBuyer whoever calls, buy() with minOut, and the invariant PoolManager.balanceOf(hook, currency1 id) == sum of jackpots.

The independent adversarial review must attack: hookData decoding (a malformed payload must not brick swaps), delta sign, spoofed buyers, claim timing races, buy() and claim() settlement in the unlock callback (which must tell the two apart), and any way to drain the jackpot. Then a small website that shows the jackpot in LBUY, the last buyer, the countdown, a buy form that calls buy() (ETH amount, slippage-based minOut) and a claim button.

Read state from hook views and events via a public Sepolia RPC with no backend; keep it to one small page; the static export has index.html in dist/.

Also approved

Sepolia (11155111) only, launched as univ4_hook on the native-ETH pool the factory opens. GitHub publication and IPFS hosting are approved. Launch token: fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, 18 decimals, no constructor arguments, minted to msg.sender, no mint or admin. One hook; enable only the permission flags its logic uses and never revert the factory's pool initialisation or its one-sided seed. Like every hook launch that has gone live, the hook constructor takes exactly one argument, the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543; rates, recipients and the token are source constants or learned from the pool key, and there is no owner. Take any hook fee through return deltas (settled as ERC-6909 claims, paid out by pull) instead of assuming a dynamic-fee pool key. Where a swapper identity is needed, read it from hookData; a swap without valid hookData credits nobody (a router can never claim), and hookData is unauthenticated, which the README states. No external oracles or VRF, no proxies, delegatecall or selfdestruct. foundry.toml sets bytecode_hash = "none". Any website is a static export with index.html in dist/. Site label lab-jackpot-hook.

Build LBUY and LastBuyerJackpotHook (afterSwap + afterSwapReturnDelta; 1% of each exact-input buy's LBUY output feeds a last-buyer jackpot, identity from hookData or the hook's own buy()) with tests against a real PoolManager and an independent review, deploy them, then build the website against the live pool.

The website brief

Jackpot, last buyer, countdown, a buy form through the hook's buy() and a claim button.

    #592Claudefound 1 low, 3 info

    The findings file is in place and is excluded from the tree by the repository's own exclude rules, so no source or config file was changed.

    Outcome: no blocking findings. The implementation and tests hold up against every attack in the request. The review wrote its findings to .imd-findings.json, ranked one low and three informational.

    What I checked, against a real PoolManager

    • hookData decoding: every shape (empty, 1, 31, 33 bytes, two words, zero address, dirty high bits, arbitrary fuzzed bytes) pays the fee and never reverts. The decode reads a full word first, so dirty bits cannot brick a swap.
    • Delta sign: the vendored Hooks library maps a positive unspecified delta on a zeroForOne exact-input to a currency1 credit for the hook, which the claim mint offsets exactly. The self-call skip is present, so the wallet path is charged once. Nonzero delta count is zero after every path.
    • Spoofed buyers: no router fallback. A gifted leader that is the manager, the hook, or a contract strands the payout but completes the round; later rounds work.
    • Claim timing: 3599 rejects, 3600 pays the stored leader regardless of caller, a qualifying buy in the deadline block resets the timer. Nested claim or buy from inside another unlock fails on the manager's AlreadyUnlocked guard.
    • Unlock callback: actions are discriminated by enum and bound by a one-use hash. A hostile currency1 that reenters the manager mid-callback and swaps the LBUY pool directly, then leaves an ERC20 synced, still ends with balanced claims and a locked manager. A pre-synced ERC20 before buy is neutralised by the explicit native sync.
    • Drain paths: none found. Claims are minted and burned only alongside jackpot updates, no ERC-6909 approvals exist, and unsolicited transfers only create surplus.
    • Permissions and manifest: getHookPermissions yields 0x0044, matching HookFlags, the mined address, and launch.json. The constructor argument is the checksummed Sepolia PoolManager and the only argument. initialPrice equals TickMath at tick 138000 by independent recomputation. ABI exports match compiled output. The protected floor passes against the real creation code with the Sepolia address etched in.

    The one low finding: qualification uses specified input, so a router swap with a price limit one below spot fills 2 wei and still takes leadership, and a wallet buy in an emptied pool with minOut 0 takes it for nothing. This is exactly what the workflow specifies and the README documents. Changing it would be a scope decision, not a fix.

    • lowRound leadership and timer reset cost ~0 ETH via partial fill or empty pool (spec-conformant)src/LastBuyerJackpotHook.sol:178

      Qualification checks the specified input (specified <= -MIN_BUY), not the ETH actually debited. A router swap with amountSpecified = -0.001 ether and sqrtPriceLimitX96 one below the current price fills 2 wei, pays zero hook fee, and still becomes lastBuyer with a fresh 3600 s timer. In a pool whose liquidity has been removed, buy(key, 0) spends 0 wei, receives 0 LBUY, refunds all of msg.value, and still becomes lastBuyer.

      Both paths let anyone extend or capture a round at the deadline for gas only. This is exactly what the approved workflow specifies (|amountSpecified| >= 0.001 ETH) and is documented in README.md and docs/REVIEW-HANDOFF.md, so it is not an implementation defect; even a full fill only costs ~0.001 ETH that the buyer keeps as LBUY. It is recorded here because it is the one concrete way the round can be taken without meaningful spend.

      Changing qualification to actual spend or gross output would be a design change requiring a scope decision; the frontend must use a nonzero slippage-based minOut as the README already instructs.

      Against a real PoolManager with the BaseHookTest launch pool: (1) read sqrtPriceX96 P from getSlot0(id); call swapRouter.swap{value: 0.001 ether}(key, SwapParams(true, -0.001 ether, P - 1), TestSettings(false,false), abi.encode(BOB)).

      Observed: manager ETH balance rises by 2 wei, jackpot unchanged (fee 0), lastBuyer(id) == BOB, claimableAt(id) == now + 3600.

      (2) After removing all liquidity via modifyLiquidityRouter, vm.prank(BOB); hook.buy{value: 0.001 ether}(key, 0).

      Observed: return 0, manager ETH balance unchanged (0 spent), BOB balance unchanged after refund, lastBuyer(id) == BOB.

      Expected per approved workflow: same (qualification by specified amount); expected by a naive reader: leadership should require real spend.

    • infoGifted leadership to manager, hook, or a contract strands the payout but cannot brick claimssrc/LastBuyerJackpotHook.sol:140

      hookData is unauthenticated by design, so a buyer can name address(poolManager), address(this) or any contract as lastBuyer. claim() then takes LBUY to that address; the tokens are unrecoverable (no rescue path) but the round completes, state resets and subsequent rounds work. Verified that neither the manager-to-manager ERC20 transfer nor a transfer to the hook reverts. Documented in docs/REVIEW-HANDOFF.md item 4; no action required.

      swap(key, true, -0.001 ether, abi.encode(address(manager))); vm.warp(+3600); claim(key) succeeds, round(id) == 1, hook claims == 0.

      Then swap(key, true, -0.001 ether, abi.encode(address(hook))); warp; claim(key) succeeds, token.balanceOf(hook) == previous jackpot (stranded), round(id) == 2.

      A third round with ALICE pays ALICE normally.

    • infoUntested but verified: reentrant core swap and stale ERC20 sync during the hook's own unlock keep accounting intacttest/Settlement.t.sol:19

      The suite does not exercise a hostile currency1 that, during the hook's take() inside buy(), calls poolManager.swap directly on the LBUY pool (the manager is unlocked, so any caller may) and then leaves an ERC20 synced; nor does it exercise an ERC20 sync left pending before buy() is called.

      Both were run by the reviewer against a real PoolManager and hold: the nested swap runs _afterSwap, mints fee claims, sets the nested caller as leader, and after buy() returns nonzeroDeltaCount == 0, the manager is locked, and hook ERC-6909 balances equal the per-pool jackpots for both currencies. The explicit sync(currency0) before settle{value} at line 158 is what makes the second case pass; without it settle would revert with NonzeroNativeValue.

      Consider adding these two cases to test/Settlement.t.sol; not a blocking finding.

      (1) Deploy ERC20 R whose transfer(), when armed, calls manager.swap(lbuyKey, SwapParams(true, -0.001 ether, MIN_SQRT_PRICE+1), abi.encode(R)), settles ETH, takes LBUY, then manager.sync(R).

      Initialize an ETH/R pool with this hook at tick 138000 with liquidity in [137940,138000]; arm; call hook.buy{value: 0.001 ether}(rKey, 1).

      Observed: succeeds, lastBuyer(lbuyId) == R, jackpot(lbuyId) increased, balanceOf(hook, LBUY id) == jackpot(lbuyId), balanceOf(hook, R id) == jackpot(rId), getNonzeroDeltaCount() == 0, isUnlocked() == false.

      (2) manager.sync(LBUY); hook.buy{value: 0.001 ether}(key, 1).

      Observed: succeeds with positive output and balanced claims.
