    • Met: “A website showing the top tweets about identity MD” — eight source-linked excerpts/summaries in src/posts.ts, rendered by PostCard; “top” is disclosed as editorial selection.
    • Met: “dark green” — forest palette in src/styles.css.
    • Met: “a theme of pepes armed with AI” — illustrated frogs carrying an AI blaster and laptop in public/images/pond-agents.webp.

The site is an IdentityMD reading feed carried by its dark-green, AI-equipped Pepe illustration.

    Recorded three findings in .imd-findings.json:

    • High — bug: The first tweet text starts at y=946 in Chromium’s 390×844 mobile view. Compact the hero and remove redundant introductory copy.
    • Medium — taste: Six font weights exceed the three-weight bar. Consolidate to 400, 600 and 800.
    • Medium — taste: Four promotional slogans compete with the collection. Keep the hero pitch and use descriptive sidebar headings.

All 29 interaction/layout checks passed in both Chromium and WebKit. The decorative chip-ring probe flag was dismissed after visual inspection. Original X content and deployed share-card unfurling remain partially unverified.

Each finding includes exact source citations, changes and reproduction evidence. Website files remain unchanged.

    • highbug: the 390px first screen contains no readable tweetsrc/styles.css:1299

Now: The mobile hero stacks its copy above a 126px illustration, followed by promotional copy and the feed controls; the first viewport ends before any tweet text or bookmark.

Change to: At <=36rem, use grid-template-columns: minmax(0, 1fr) 110px for the existing hero, set .hero-copy padding to 16px, and let .hero-art fill the adjacent column instead of reserving a separate 126px row. Remove the hero kicker, art caption, collection slogan and default feed-intro sentence; preserve the snapshot button and Saved storage explanation. Set the collection note vertical padding to 8px and its button max-width to none so the feed moves up without an empty gap. Keep the existing headline, lime word and Pepe illustration.

Why: A site showing top tweets must expose an actual tweet on the first 390px screen; the Explore the feed jump link and filter controls are not the product.

Serve dist/ and open / at 390x844 with mobile emulation, scrollY=0 and fonts loaded.

In Chromium, getBoundingClientRect() puts .hero at y=91..486.06, .posts-grid/.post-card at y=829.02, the first .post-copy at y=946.02..1025.19, and its Read on X link at y=1097.38..1141.38.

The taste@1 390.png screenshot shows the header, hero, filters, result count and first card border, but no readable post.

Expected: the first tweet and its bookmark are visible before scrolling.

A browser-only compact-hero trial moved the first excerpt to y=697.66..776.83 without changing the website files.

    • mediumtaste: six font weights dilute the page hierarchysrc/styles.css:383

Now: The rendered page uses 400, 500, 600, 700, 750 and 800 across prose, card authors, headings, controls and branding, despite a compact six-size type scale.

Change to: Reuse three existing weights consistently: 400 for body and supporting prose (replace 500), 600 for controls and section/card headings (replace 700 and 750), and 800 for the hero and brand. Set any otherwise browser-default h2, h3 and strong weights to 600 as well. Keep the existing font and sizes.

Why: The supplied type-faces bar permits at most three weights; near-duplicate heading weights add distinctions without establishing different content roles.

At 390x844 and 1440x900, load / and scroll through the full feed and sidebar.

      Run taste@1 with the supplied script: type-faces fails with "weights (6): 400, 500, 600, 700, 750, 800".

      Computed styles show .post-copy at 500, controls at 600, .topics-card h2 at 700, .section-heading h2 and .author-text h3 at 750, and h1 at 800.

Expected: at most three distinct weights across the same rendered content.

    • mediumtaste: four promotional slogans compete with the tweet collectionsrc/App.tsx:621

Now: Alongside Signal from the pond, the page repeats Human ideas. AI firepower.; Curated. Source-linked. Frog-approved.; Your ideas. An AI army.; and A smaller feed. A stronger signal. The sidebar repeats the pitch instead of naming what its sections provide.

Change to: Keep Signal from the pond and its plain explanation. Delete .hero-tag and the promotional span in .collection-note, closing their margins so the hero and feed move up; retain the snapshot button. Replace the mission heading with About IdentityMD and the curation heading with About this collection. Replace the curation paragraph with Excerpts and summaries link to the original posts on X. Let both cards shrink to their content. Preserve the independence/storage disclosures and all post content.

Why: A reading feed should prioritize the posts; the supplied copy bar rejects four or more short slogan lines and requires section headings to say what the section offers.

At 1440x900, load / and scroll through the right sidebar; all four quoted promotional lines render in .hero-tag, .collection-note > span, .mission-card h2 and .curation-card h2. taste@1 slogans reports five two-beat lines; one is the factual independence/X disclaimer and is not counted as a defect, leaving four actual slogans.

The 390px screenshot also shows the first two before any tweet.

Expected: the hero carries the single memorable pitch and sidebar headings identify their content.

  4. Build websiteAgent #143510 files changed

Fixed all three findings. The 390px first screen now shows the full first tweet and bookmark; typography uses three weights, and redundant slogans are removed.

Rebuilt dist/. Typecheck, production build, and 24 browser checks passed. Updated DESIGN.md, README, validation evidence, and .imd-responses.json.

Delivery files total 3.37 MiB, below 8 MiB. Validation documentation records remaining limitations.

    • Met — “showing the top tweets about identity MD”: eight source-linked posts in src/posts.ts. The snapshot dialog explains that “top” means editorial picks.
    • Met — “dark green”: forest background and surface tokens in src/styles.css.
    • Met — “pepes armed with AI”: the hero visibly features Pepes with an AI blaster and laptop, rendered by src/App.tsx.

The Pond is an IdentityMD reading feed carried by dark-green artwork of AI-equipped Pepes.

All three previous findings are fixed:

    • Bug: hidden first tweet. At 390×844, with fonts loaded and no scrolling, the complete excerpt occupies y=717.66–796.83 in Chromium and y=715.59–793.59 in WebKit. Its 44px bookmark is visible and works without scrolling.
    • Taste: six font weights. Both browsers now render exactly 400, 600 and 800.
    • Taste: competing promotional slogans. All four cited lines are removed or replaced as requested. Descriptive sidebar headings, snapshot access and storage disclosures remain.

Verification passed 24/24 Chromium checks and 19/19 WebKit checks. The sole taste@1 flag concerns the decorative chip’s double outline; screenshot inspection does not substantiate a new defect. Share assets load; public social unfurling was not tested.

.imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. Website files are unchanged.
