The whole request

Release Holder Discount (token symbol NFTD) on Sepolia as a univ4_hook launch.

Token: Holder Discount (NFTD), total supply 1,000,000,000 NFTD with 18 decimals, minted once to the deployer.

Hook: NFTHolderDiscountHook, a Uniswap v4 hook on the token's native-ETH pool (currency0 native ETH, currency1 NFTD, LP fee 3000, tickSpacing 60; the factory seeds one-sided NFTD liquidity, so the first buy lands in a pool holding no ETH). In v4, amountSpecified < 0 is exact input and zeroForOne is a buy (ETH in, NFTD out).

The hook extends v4-periphery BaseHook; its only constructor argument is the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543 (constructor (IPoolManager poolManager)); no $owner or $token. getHookPermissions enables exactly afterSwap and afterSwapReturnDelta; the manifest lists the same set. State is keyed by PoolId, so any pool may attach the hook.

COLLECTION is the source constant 0x429ba70129df741B2Ca2a85BC3A2a3328e5c09b4, the Uniswap v4 PositionManager on Sepolia ("Uniswap v4 Positions NFT", an ERC-721 anyone gets by opening a v4 position); tests put a mock ERC-721 at that address with vm.etch.

Fee: 100 bps (1%), or 50 bps when COLLECTION.balanceOf(tx.origin) >= 1, read with a low-level staticcall capped at 50,000 gas and decoded only when it returns exactly 32 bytes (a Solidity try/catch would not catch a bad return); a revert, out-of-gas or malformed return means the full 1%, never a failed swap.

The fee is taken on the unspecified currency in afterSwap through the afterSwapReturnDelta (exact input: it comes off the output; exact output: it is added to the input): fee = ceil(|unspecified amount| x bps / 10,000), capped at that amount. Fees are credited to the hook as ERC-6909 claims with poolManager.mint inside the callback; no ETH or tokens are pushed during a swap.

Anyone may call donateFees(PoolKey): it unlocks the PoolManager, burns that pool's accrued claims in both currencies and donates them to in-range LPs with poolManager.donate; it reverts NoLiquidity while in-range liquidity is zero and the claims wait for a later call. unlockCallback accepts only the PoolManager, and only during a call the hook itself started. No owner, no admin.

Why tx.origin: this hook credits nobody, so the context's hookData identity rule does not apply, and a hookData address would let anyone claim a holder's discount; the v4 sender is the router and hookData is not authenticated, so the transaction signer is the only identity the hook can check without a trusted router.

Document the limits in NatSpec and README: contract and ERC-4337 wallets are judged by the relayer or bundler EOA, a relayer holding one NFT passes the discount to everyone it relays, an EIP-7702 account can hold a borrowed NFT during its own transaction, and it only ever lowers a fee (never authorisation).

Events: FeeCharged(PoolId indexed poolId, address origin, bool discounted, Currency currency, uint256 fee), FeesDonated(poolId, amount0, amount1).

Views: feeBpsFor(address account), accrued(poolId) for both currencies. Tests run against a real v4-core PoolManager and include a launch rehearsal: one-sided NFTD liquidity below the opening price, a first buy into the ETH-less pool, then a sell.

Acceptance: holder vs non-holder via vm.prank(sender, origin) in all four swap types; the discount ends when the NFT moves away; a collection that reverts, returns garbage or burns all gas gives the full fee, not a revert; invariant: claims held == accrued; donateFees reaches in-range LPs.

Then a small website that shows the configured collection, the connected wallet's NFT balance and the fee it would pay, lifetime fees and the discounted share, a donate button and a swap form. Swaps go through PoolSwapTest 0x9B6b46e2c869aa39918Db7f52f5557FE577B6eEe (it forwards hookData and sqrtPriceLimitX96), prices come from StateView 0xE1Dd9c3fA50EDB962E442f60DfBc432e24537E4C and quotes from V4Quoter 0x61B3f2011A92d183C7dbaDBdA940a7555Ccf9227 (all live on Sepolia).

Also approved

Sepolia (11155111) only, launched as univ4_hook on the native-ETH pool the factory opens. GitHub publication and IPFS hosting are approved. Launch token: fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, 18 decimals, no constructor arguments, minted to msg.sender, no mint or admin. One hook; enable only the permission flags its logic uses and never revert the factory's pool initialisation or its one-sided seed. Like every hook launch that has gone live, the hook constructor takes exactly one argument, the Sepolia PoolManager 0xE03A1074c86CFeDd5C142C4F04F1a1536e203543; rates, recipients and the token are source constants or learned from the pool key, and there is no owner. Take any hook fee through return deltas (settled as ERC-6909 claims, paid out by pull) instead of assuming a dynamic-fee pool key. Where a swapper identity is needed, read it from hookData; a swap without valid hookData credits nobody (a router can never claim), and hookData is unauthenticated, which the README states. No external oracles or VRF, no proxies, delegatecall or selfdestruct. foundry.toml sets bytecode_hash = "none". Any website is a static export with index.html in dist/. Site label lab-nft-discount-hook.

Build NFTD and NFTHolderDiscountHook exactly as the request specifies, with the named tests and an independent review, deploy them through the factory, then build the one-page website against the live pool.

The website brief

One page: collection, your NFT balance and fee, fee totals, donate button, swap form via PoolSwapTest. No backend.

    Review complete. No blocking defects found in the four assigned attack areas. Findings are written to .imd-findings.json and no other file was changed.

    What I checked and concluded

    • tx.origin reasoning. The workflow explicitly approves origin-based eligibility and lists four limits to document. All four appear in NatSpec, README and manifest notes, and each statement is accurate. hookData is ignored, so the spoofing test in the suite is meaningful. The only gap is that the "borrow within your own transaction" limit is attributed to EIP-7702, while a plain EOA reaches the same outcome through a helper contract that mints or rents a position NFT to tx.origin before swapping. I reproduced that against the real PoolManager. The design accepts a freely obtainable NFT, so this is info only.
    • External balanceOf call. The staticcall forwards at most 50,000 gas, copies at most 32 bytes into scratch space, and accepts the value only when success and returndatasize are both exactly 32. Revert, out-of-gas, missing code, and 0, 1, 31, 33, 64, and 65,536 byte returns all fall back to 100 bps without failing the swap. The fixed collection is the Sepolia PositionManager, whose balanceOf costs well under the cap.
    • afterSwap delta sign and rounding. The unspecified-currency selection matches v4-core's Hooks.afterSwap branch exactly. A positive int128 return is subtracted from the swapper's delta, so exact input reduces output and exact output increases input. Fee is ceil(amount times bps over 10,000), never exceeds the amount, and fits int128 at both int128 extremes. The mint inside the callback and the returned delta net to zero for the hook, which the invariant suite confirms across two pools.
    • donateFees unlock path. Only the manager can call unlockCallback, and only during a hook-started unlock with the exact payload. Burn credits and donate debits cancel per currency. The int128.max batching keeps Pool.donate's unchecked multiply below 2^255. NoLiquidity preserves claims. Nested calls from inside another unlock revert on the manager's own AlreadyUnlocked guard.

    Findings, ranked

    1. Info: documented tx.origin limits omit the plain-EOA same-transaction acquisition path. Concrete reproduction included.
    2. Info: the launch rehearsal never runs an exact-output first buy into the ETH-less pool. I ran that input myself and it behaves correctly, so this is a coverage gap, not a defect.

    Both probes were run in a throwaway copy under /tmp, which I deleted afterwards. The repository tree remains clean.

    • infoDocumented tx.origin limits omit the plain-EOA same-transaction NFT acquisition pathsrc/NFTHolderDiscountHook.sol:20

      The NatSpec (lines 18-21), README 'Eligibility limitations' and launch.json notes present the in-transaction borrow case as an EIP-7702 property ('an EIP-7702 account can hold a borrowed NFT during its own transaction').

      That understates the limit: any ordinary EOA gets the same effect by calling a helper contract that first mints or transfers a COLLECTION token to tx.origin (PositionManager mints to an arbitrary owner, and a rental contract pre-approved via setApprovalForAll can move an NFT in and back out) and then routes the swap. feeBpsFor(tx.origin) is evaluated after the transfer, so the swap is discounted for an origin that held nothing before the transaction.

      This is consistent with the approved design (the workflow says the collection is 'an ERC-721 anyone gets by opening a v4 position' and the discount only ever lowers a fee), so it is not a security defect and no code change is required; it is a documentation-completeness observation for the README/NatSpec limits list and for the frontend's 'fee you would pay' display.

      Using the delivered HookFixture with the pool seeded in range (seed(key,-600,600,1000 ether)): eoa=0xE0A holds no NFT, hook.feeBpsFor(eoa)==100.

      Deploy a helper whose run() does collection.mint(tx.origin, 777) then router.swap(key, {zeroForOne:true, amountSpecified:-1 ether, limit MIN_SQRT_PRICE+1}, TestSettings(false,false), ""). vm.prank(eoa, eoa); helper.run{value: 2 ether}(...).

      Expected per README wording: only a 7702 account can borrow within its own transaction, so a plain EOA origin is charged 100 bps.

      Actual: the FeeCharged event for this swap has discounted == true and fee == ceil(output * 50 / 10000); the origin obtained the 50 bps rate with a token acquired inside the same transaction.

      Verified against the real v4-core PoolManager in a scratch copy of the repository (test passed).

    • infoLaunch rehearsal does not exercise an exact-output first buy into the ETH-less pool (native ETH claims minted before the pool holds any ETH)test/NFTHolderDiscountHook.t.sol:345

      LaunchRehearsalTest.test_oneSidedNFTDSeedFirstBuyThenSell only performs an exact-input first buy, whose fee is taken in NFTD. The other approved first-buy shape, exact output (amountSpecified > 0, zeroForOne), takes the fee on the ETH input by minting currency-id-0 claims to the hook at a moment when PoolManager's ETH balance is zero. testFuzz_allSwapTypes covers exact-output buys only with two-sided in-range liquidity.

      I reproduced the ETH-less exact-output first buy against the real PoolManager and it behaves correctly (claims == fee, manager ETH balance == gross input + fee, donateFees drains the claim), so this is a coverage gap in the delivered tests rather than an implementation defect.

      In HookFixture: seed(key, -600, -60, 1000 ether); assert address(manager).balance == 0; trade(key, zeroForOne=true, exactInput=false, 1 ether, NONHOLDER).

      Observed: fee > 0, manager.balanceOf(hook, 0) == fee, address(manager).balance == -delta.amount0() (gross + fee), assertClaims passes, hook.donateFees(key) then leaves manager.balanceOf(hook, 0) == 0.

      Expected and actual agree; the delivered suite simply never runs this input.
