The code is in the public repository https://github.com/JJ-ME55/jigsaw-contracts-audit: Solidity in src/ (Foundry; tests in test/, deploy scripts in script/, README.md describes every contract and every earlier round with its fixes) and the off-chain money paths in offchain/ (Node modules on one server with one hot "operating wallet"; offchain/README.md lists them). This is round 8, the review before a mainnet launch on Robinhood Chain (Arbitrum Orbit, chain 4663). WHAT CHANGED SINCE ROUND 7 (commit 63e94356); verify each and hunt for what it introduced:

(1) Holder rewards fully on chain: src/CreatorCoin.sol streams JIG to holders (StakingRewards pattern over DURATION = 1 day, every transfer is a stake/unstake; protocol addresses excluded from the eligible supply; one notifier set once by the factory; reward streamed while nobody is eligible and dust carried to the next stream; the platform can pause adding and claiming for at most MAX_PAUSE = 14 days per decision, renewable). src/RewardsForwarder.sol pulls the coin's slice from CreatorFeeHook at most once a day (MIN_INTERVAL) and notifies the coin. HolderPayouts and SnapshotForwarder are removed. Hunt: accounting drift, reward theft or dilution via transfers to/from excluded addresses, flash or just-in-time holding around pull(), griefing pull() timing, carry/dust, the pause.

(2) src/AirdropClaim.sol is per NFT: the factory parks each coin's 5% there; notify splits it as 5% / maxSupply (or totalSupply) per token id; the owner of NFT #id claims once within 30 days (claim), anyone may push to the current owner (claimFor, skips claimed, unminted and dead-owned ids), then sweep the rest to the pot. Owner renounced after setFactory. Hunt: double claims, claims for ids minted later, supply manipulation, sweep timing.

(3) CreatorFeeHook: a flywheel module's slice never recycles (only the creator's own share can go stale after 7 days). BuybackAndBurn and LPDeepening keeper is settable by the platform (setKeeper).

(4) src/CollectionLauncher.sol: create(c, provenance, uri, revealLater, freeze) in one transaction, admin-only reoffer.

(5) NEW CONTRACTS src/JigsawCollection.sol + src/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol: our own ERC-721 (EIP-1167 clones) with up to 3 timed mint phases (start, price, per-wallet cap, optional phase supply, optional Merkle wallet list of OpenZeppelin double-hashed address leaves), a lifetime per-wallet cap, a list-only phase never after an open one, the same 0.0005 ETH fee split 40/40/20 pushed on every mint, provenance and first URI set in initialize, reveal seed once, freeze (needs a base URI), pause, ERC-2981 royalty, 1% owner reserve, no renounce. The factory is operator-only and keeps an isCollection registry the coin side trusts. An in-house round already fixed 5 Info findings (test/Audit_Phased_*.t.sol); the creator push payment (a creator that rejects ETH blocks minting) is accepted as on the Loom collection. Hunt: cap bypasses, Merkle issues, reentrancy via _safeMint, owner powers, setPhases/setPhaseRoot timing, the registry.

(6) Deployment: script/go-day.sh runs the whole mainnet sequence (fork prediction, then live with every address compared to the prediction, roles read back); script/DeployPhased.s.sol; the team Safe receives every platform fee and a separate pot Safe owns PotVault. Check role wiring and anything a deploy-order mistake could break.

(7) Off-chain: offchain/keeper.mjs (rewards pulls wait for nextPullAt; per-NFT airdrop push in batches gated on the coin's earned platform fees; a price check that refuses any keeper trade when the pool's spot is more than 10% from the median of the keeper's own 12 h readings, offchain/priceguard.mjs), offchain/rewards.mjs, offchain/phases.mjs (server-side phase lists, Merkle proofs served only for the root on chain, add-wallets with a per-build lock), offchain/flywheels.mjs (deploys a collection's flywheel module once: pending tx persisted before broadcast), offchain/go-day-env.mjs.

  • 1.highPotVault is not excluded from CreatorCoin holder rewards: the swept airdrop remainder earns JIG that no code path can claim, permanently stranding a large share of every streamsrc/CoinFactory.sol:245

            e[2] = airdropRecipient;

CreatorCoin streams JIG pro rata to every balance not held by an excluded address. CoinFactory._excluded() lists only the pool manager, the fee hook and the airdrop recipient (the constructor adds the factory, DEAD and the coin).

AirdropClaim.sweep() (src/AirdropClaim.sol:131) sends every unclaimed share of the 5% airdrop (ids never minted inside the 30-day window, dead-owned ids, shares nobody claimed, rounding) to pot, which on mainnet is PotVault (script/go-day.sh: DeployRest POT=JIG_POT).

PotVault then holds creator coin as an ordinary eligible holder, but it has no function that can call CreatorCoin.claim() (claim() pays only msg.sender; PotVault only declares merkle distributions of tokens it already holds; its owner Safe has no arbitrary-call path through it).

Every stream after the sweep therefore credits the pot's share to rewards[pot], and that JIG sits in the coin contract forever: it is neither claimable nor added to carry, and real holders are diluted by exactly that fraction (pot balance / eligible supply).

For a phased collection far from minted out most of the 5% ends up in the pot: 1,000 of 10,000 minted leaves 45M coin there against 55M held by every real holder, so 45% of every day's holder rewards are lost; with fewer real holders the share is higher (the economics specialist's variant: 49M swept vs 1M held loses 98%). No attacker and no precondition beyond the normal keeper-run sweep; the loss recurs daily for the life of the coin.

Three specialists (math, flow, economics) reported this independently; merged here.

Minimal fix: exclude the pot at launch, e.g. in CoinFactory read AirdropClaim(airdropRecipient).pot() once in the constructor into an immutable (the constructor already probes pot()) and append it as e[3] in _excluded(); coinInitCodeHash() uses _excluded() so the salt grinder stays in step.

Alternatives that keep the pot earning: have AirdropClaim.sweep() burn to DEAD, or add a CreatorCoin.claimFor(address) that pays account so the keeper can move the pot's JIG into PotVault.

State: coin launched through the real CoinFactory.launch (test/scratch/PotStranded.t.sol stubs only the v4 position manager, permit2 and hook with a contract that answers every call with 32 zero bytes, so the real coin, real _excluded() list and real AirdropClaim.notify() run) for a collection with maxSupply 10,000 of which 1,000 ids are minted; AirdropClaim.claimFor pushes all 1,000 ids; warp 31 days; anyone calls AirdropClaim.sweep(coin).

Actual: 45,000,000e18 coin moves to PotVault and coin.excluded(pot) == false.

Then the notifier calls notifyReward(1,000e18) and one day passes.

Expected: earned(pot) == 0 (the pot is a protocol address like the airdrop claim) and the whole 1,000 JIG is claimable by real holders.

Actual: earned(pot) == 449999999999999997120 (45% of the stream) and no function can move that JIG out of the coin.

Proof run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/PotStranded.t.sol fails on this code with "pot earns holder rewards it can never claim: 449999999999999997120 != 0"; the two other specialists' proofs (stub-factory variants) fail the same way with 2351.99e18 (98%) and 499.99e18 (5/6) stranded.

Passes once the pot is in the coin's excluded list.

  • 2.mediumAirdropClaim.claimFor pushes an NFT's share to whatever contract holds the NFT (escrow, vault, bridge) and marks the id claimed, so the beneficial owner loses the share for good; anyone can trigger itsrc/AirdropClaim.sol:111

                IERC20(coin).safeTransfer(owner_, d.perNft);

claimFor(coin, ids) is permissionless and transfers id's share to whatever ownerOf(id) returns, then sets claimed[coin][id]. It skips only address(0) and DEAD. When the NFT sits in a contract that cannot move ERC-20s (an escrow-style marketplace listing, a lending or staking vault, a bridge lock) the coin lands in that contract and is irrecoverable, and because the id is now claimed the real owner's later claim() reverts AlreadyClaimed even after they take the NFT back.

Under the pull path alone the holder would have waited to claim with the NFT in a wallet of their choice; the push path removes that choice, and it is not limited to the keeper (which pushes every minted, unclaimed id within hours, offchain/keeper.mjs line 183): a griefer can target exactly the ids held by such contracts. The stranded coin also stays in the eligible supply and keeps earning holder rewards nobody can claim (same mechanism as the pot finding).

Two specialists (permissions, economics) reported this; merged. Minimal fix that keeps the push design: in claimFor skip owners with code (if (owner_.code.length > 0) continue; next to the DEAD check on line 109), leaving contract holders (Safes, escrows) to call claim() themselves or to claim once the NFT is back in a wallet; or restrict pushes to contract-owned ids to the keeper.

State: AirdropClaim bound to a factory stand-in, collection C (maxSupply 10), Alice owns #7 and has listed it on an escrow marketplace contract E (implements onERC721Received, has no ERC-20 withdraw); a coin for C parks 50,000,000e18 in AirdropClaim and notify() fixes perNft = 5,000,000e18.

    Input: griefer calls claimFor(coin, [7]).

Expected: #7's share stays claimable by Alice (or reaches Alice).

Actual: 5,000,000e18 coin is transferred to E and claimed[coin][7] = true; after Alice cancels the listing (ownerOf(7) == Alice) her claim(coin, [7]) reverts AlreadyClaimed; the share is stranded in E (sweep() cannot reach it either).

Proof run: forge test --match-path test/scratch/AirdropPushToEscrow.t.sol fails on this code with "share pushed into a contract that cannot move it: 5000000000000000000000000 != 0" and passes once claimFor skips code-bearing owners.

  • 3.lowJigsawCollection.initialize accepts freeze=true with an empty base URI, freezing a collection on no metadata for good (freezeMetadata() refuses the same state)src/JigsawCollection.sol:139

if (freeze && revealLater) revert NothingToFreeze(); // the reveal freezes a reveal-later collection

freezeMetadata() guards bytes(baseURI).length == 0 with NothingToFreeze (line 328) because a frozen collection without a base URI leaves every token on the placeholder forever. The same freeze done in initialize() (the JigsawCollectionFactory.create path with freeze=true, revealLater=false) only checks freeze && revealLater; an empty uri passes.

The clone is then metadataFrozen with baseURI == "" and unrevealedURI == "": setBaseURI, setUnrevealedURI and setRevealSeed all revert MetadataIsFrozen and tokenURI(id) returns "" for every token forever, while minting stays open. Operator-only input, but one the contract's own later guard treats as invalid and that cannot be undone (no renounce, clones are not upgradeable). Reported by three specialists; merged.

Fix: in initialize, if (freeze && (revealLater || bytes(uri).length == 0)) revert NothingToFreeze();.

    Input: operator calls JigsawCollectionFactory.create(Config{name:"N",symbol:"S",maxSupply:100,maxPerWallet:10,creator,royaltyBps:500}, [Phase{start:now,price:0,maxPerWallet:10,supply:0,root:0}], provenance=bytes32(1), uri="", revealLater=false, freeze=true).

Expected: revert NothingToFreeze, as freezeMetadata() does for an empty base URI.

Actual (test/scratch/JudgeLows.t.sol::test_initialize_freeze_with_empty_uri_is_accepted_and_irreversible, passes on this code showing the stuck state): create succeeds, metadataFrozen() == true, baseURI() == "", after mint(1) with 0.0005 ether tokenURI(1) == "", and the owner's setBaseURI("ipfs://x/") reverts MetadataIsFrozen; the same collection created without freeze then has freezeMetadata() revert NothingToFreeze.

  • 4.lowAirdropClaim assumes ids 1..maxSupply: on a 0-based collection token 0 can never claim and its share is swept to the potsrc/AirdropClaim.sol:84

                if (id == 0 || id > d.maxId) revert BadId(id);

notify() fixes the claimable range as ids 1..maxId with maxId = maxSupply() (or totalSupply()). CoinFactory.launch() accepts any contract whose creator() (or owner()) is the caller, not only JigsawCollection or Loom clones (both 1-based), and nothing in AirdropClaim reads the id base.

For a 0-based collection (ERC721A style, ids 0..maxSupply-1) the owner of token 0 is refused with BadId while id == maxSupply does not exist (ownerOf reverts: claim() reverts NotOwnerOf, claimFor() skips it). One holder loses their share, which sweep() later sends to the pot. HolderDrip documents the same 1-based assumption; AirdropClaim does not and has no guard.

Fix: either require the collection to be registered in the JigsawCollectionFactory / Loom factory (isCollection) in launch(), or record a first-id base in the Drop (accept id 0 when ownerOf(0) succeeds) and check id < base || id >= base + maxId.

    State: a coin launched for a collection with maxSupply() == 100 whose ids run 0..99 (every id minted). notify(): maxId = 100, perNft = 50,000,000e18 / 100.

Input: the owner of token 0 calls claim(coin, [0]).

    Expected: receives perNft.

Actual (test/scratch/JudgeLows.t.sol::test_airdrop_refuses_token_id_zero_of_a_zero_based_collection, passes on this code showing the state): revert BadId(0); claimFor(coin, [0]) returns 0; claimFor(coin, [100]) returns 0 (unminted); after 31 days sweep() moves the whole balance, token 0's share included, to the pot.

  • 5.lowEvery JigsawCollection clone is owned by the operator hot key from birth with no platform recovery path; rotating the factory operator does not reach existing clones (asymmetry with CollectionLaunchersrc/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50

            JigsawCollection(collection).initialize(c, operator, phases, provenance, uri, revealLater, freeze);

create() initialises each clone with owner_ = operator, the server's hot operating wallet (script/DeployPhased.s.sol: "OPERATOR: the operating wallet (creates and owns every collection)"). The owner can pause/unpause minting, setPhases before the first phase starts, setPhaseRoot for a phase not yet started, setRevealSeed, setBaseURI/setUnrevealedURI until frozen, reserveMint 1% and transferOwnership; renounceOwnership is disabled.

The Safe's only powers (setOperator, setImplementation) affect future clones only.

The Loom path got an admin escape hatch for the lost-key case (CollectionLauncher.reoffer, Safe-only); the phased path has none: if the operator key is lost, every reveal-later collection it owns can never be revealed or frozen and a paused one stays paused; if the key leaks, the holder can point every unfrozen collection's baseURI anywhere, pick reveal seeds, pause mints and transfer ownership of all of them, and the Safe cannot intervene.

This is the intended ownership model (README: operator owns), so it is recorded as a trust assumption with its material risk, merging the permissions (low) and economics (info) specialists' entries.

Mitigation without changing who operates: give JigsawCollection an immutable GUARDIAN (the factory owner / Safe) set in the constructor like PLATFORM, with one guardian-only _transferOwnership(newOwner) (or pause) function; or transfer each collection to the Safe after its mint window and freeze at reveal, which the code already supports.

State: factory.create(...) with revealLater = true; the operator key is lost (or leaked).

Input: Safe calls factory.setOperator(newOps); newOps calls collection.setRevealSeed / setBaseURI / unpause / transferOwnership.

Expected: the platform can recover administration of the collection.

Actual (by code: onlyOwner on every setter, Ownable2StepUpgradeable owner fixed at initialize, renounceOwnership reverts CannotRenounce at line 292, factory has no call path into a clone): every call reverts OwnableUnauthorizedAccount(newOps); the clone stays administered by the lost or hostile key.

Compare CollectionLauncher.reoffer (admin-only) which exists for the same situation on the Loom path.

  • 6.infoThe isCollection registry is not read on chain: CoinFactory.launch accepts any contract whose creator()/owner() is the caller, so a self-made collection's launcher takes the whole 5% airdropsrc/CoinFactory.sol:130

            if (!_controlsCollection(msg.sender, p.collection)) revert NotCollectionOwner();

The brief says the JigsawCollectionFactory keeps an isCollection registry "the coin side trusts", but only the off-chain launch page and keeper read it (offchain/launch.mjs isOurCollection; offchain/keeper.mjs refuses to service unregistered collections and states "CoinFactory is open to any collection creator"). On chain, launch() requires only code at p.collection and creator()/owner() == msg.sender, and AirdropClaim reads maxSupply()/ownerOf() from that same contract.

A launcher can deploy a contract whose creator() is themselves, maxSupply() returns 1 and ownerOf(1) returns themselves, launch a coin for it (launch fee 0 on launch day) and claim the entire 50,000,000 coin airdrop in the same block, on top of the 5% creatorBps and the dev buy. The coin carries the same hook, pool and vanity suffix as a genuine one; the keeper will not service it, but trading on it is open.

This matches the documented design (open launch), so it is recorded as a trust/design note rather than a defect; if the registry is meant to be binding, require isCollection(p.collection) on one of the registries in launch(), or have AirdropClaim treat a collection below a supply floor as "no drop".

Input: deploy Fake { creator() returns attacker; maxSupply() returns 1; ownerOf(uint256) returns attacker }. attacker calls CoinFactory.launch({collection: Fake, salt: bytes32(bytes20(Fake)), creatorBps: 500, ...}), then AirdropClaim.claim(coin, [1]).

Expected per the stated trust: launch refuses an unregistered collection.

Actual by code: _controlsCollection returns true (line 234), launch succeeds, notify() fixes perNft = 50_000_000e18 / 1, claim() transfers the whole 5% to attacker (claim path verified by the scratch tests above with a hand-made collection).

  • 7.infoCollectionLauncher.create silently ignores freeze when revealLater is set, while JigsawCollection.initialize reverts NothingToFreeze for the same inputsrc/CollectionLauncher.sol:77

            if (freeze && !revealLater) ILoomCollectionOwner(collection).freezeMetadata();

The two launch paths take the same (uri, revealLater, freeze) triple from the same operator back end. The phased path treats freeze && revealLater as a caller error and reverts (src/JigsawCollection.sol:139); the Loom path returns success and launches an unfrozen collection, emitting Launched with no indication that nothing was frozen.

Fix: revert in create() when freeze && revealLater, matching JigsawCollection.initialize (or make both lenient; they should agree).

Input: operator calls CollectionLauncher.create(c, provenance, "ipfs://placeholder", revealLater = true, freeze = true).

Expected (per the phased path): revert.

Actual by code (line 75 sets the unrevealed URI, line 77 skips freezeMetadata because !revealLater is false, line 79 emits Launched): the collection is created with unrevealedURI set and metadataFrozen false; the same arguments to JigsawCollectionFactory.create revert NothingToFreeze.

  • 8.infoRewardsForwarder comments describe a 7-day stream; CreatorCoin.DURATION is 1 daysrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:24

uint64 public constant MIN_INTERVAL = 1 days; // each pull restarts the coin's 7-day stream for what is left

Lines 15, 24 and 53 of RewardsForwarder still say the coin streams over seven days and that each pull restarts a 7-day stream. CreatorCoin.DURATION was changed to 1 day in this round (src/CreatorCoin.sol:34) and MIN_INTERVAL equals it, which is exactly what makes the "nothing is ever re-spread" argument hold: when the next pull is allowed, periodFinish has already been reached. A reader checking the timing argument from the forwarder alone is misled.

    Documentation only.

Fix: state the 1-day stream and that MIN_INTERVAL == DURATION is the invariant.

    Read src/RewardsForwarder.sol lines 15, 24, 53 against src/CreatorCoin.sol line 34 (uint256 public constant DURATION = 1 days;).

    Expected: consistent numbers.

Actual: "seven days" / "7-day" in the forwarder vs 1 day in the coin.

    No state effect.

  • 9.infoA rewards pause batches up to 14 days of fees into a single one-day stream that anyone can time with pull()src/CreatorCoin.sol:130

            if (rewardsPaused()) revert Paused();

While rewards are paused notifyReward reverts Paused, so RewardsForwarder.pull() reverts as a whole (lastPull is not advanced since the transaction reverts) and the coin's slice keeps accruing in the hook as claimable[forwarder]. The moment the pause lapses (or is lifted) anyone can call pull(): up to 14 days of fees are then streamed over DURATION = 1 day.

Because every transfer is a stake/unstake with no lock, a large buyer who enters just before that pull and exits a day later captures balance/eligibleSupply of the whole batch for two swap fees; under normal daily pulls this is uneconomic, after a pause the batch is public knowledge and the pull is permissionless.

Inherent to the chosen StakingRewards design and the pause is a requested power; recorded as a design/trust note for the Safe (prefer lifting a pause with a known-small backlog, or let the forwarder spread a backlog larger than N days over N streams).

State: platform calls setRewardsPaused(true); 13 days of swaps accrue 13x the daily flywheel slice in the hook.

At pausedUntil a buyer acquires B coin, calls pull(), holds one day, claims B/(B+H) of 13 days of fees, sells.

Expected from the daily-stream design: one day of intake per stream.

Actual by code (notifyReward line 130 reverts while paused; pull line 56 only checks lastPull; notifyReward lines 133-138 stream amount + carry over DURATION): 13 days in one stream.

  • 10.infoReward carry (streamed while nobody was eligible) is only re-streamed by a later notifyReward, which pull() skips when the hook has nothingsrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:60

            if (amount > 0) {

carry is folded into a stream only inside CreatorCoin.notifyReward() (line 133). RewardsForwarder.pull() calls notifyReward only when amount > 0, and notifyReward is notifier-only, so for a coin whose trading stops a non-zero carry stays in the contract indefinitely even after holders appear.

Low impact: carry is only large if a stream ran with zero eligible supply, which happens at launch with creatorBps = 0, no dev buy and no buyers for a day.

Fix: let pull() notify when the coin's carry > 0 even if amount == 0, or allow anyone to trigger a zero-amount restream.

State: launch with creatorBps = 0 and no dev buy; the notifier streams 70e18 while eligibleSupply() == 0 (CreatorCoin._updateGlobal line 159 adds it to carry); a day later alice buys; trading then stops so hook.claimable[forwarder] stays 0.

Expected: alice eventually receives the 70e18.

Actual by code: pull() reads amount == 0 and skips notifyReward (line 60), carry == 70e18 forever, earned(alice) stays 0 until some future pull with amount > 0.

The review is complete. The findings file holds four substantiated findings and every snippet matches its line in the tree. No source file was changed.

    Findings written to .imd-findings.json

    • Medium, src/CoinFactory.sol:241. PotVault is not in the coin's excluded list. AirdropClaim.sweep sends every unclaimed airdrop share to the pot, which then earns holder rewards it can never claim. That JIG stays in the coin forever and is not carried to the next stream. In the proof scenario the pot takes five sixths of each day's rewards. A Foundry proof is attached and fails on the current code on earned(pot) == 0. Fix: exclude the pot at launch, or route the swept remainder to an excluded sink.
    • Low, src/JigsawCollection.sol:163. The creating transaction accepts freeze with an empty base URI, which freezeMetadata itself refuses. The clone is frozen on a blank URI with no way back. Verified with a scratch test.
    • Low, src/AirdropClaim.sol:84. The id range is assumed to be 1..maxSupply. CoinFactory accepts any collection whose creator matches, so a 0-based collection loses token 0's share to the pot.
    • Info, src/RewardsForwarder.sol:24. Comments still describe a 7-day stream after DURATION moved to 1 day.

Checked and cleared in the round-8 code: CreatorCoin stream arithmetic, including intermediate overflow bounds, rate and carry dust, zero-eligible-supply handling, settle-before-move ordering on transfers, excluded-supply bookkeeping on burns and mints, pause expiry and renewal, and the pull interval equalling the stream duration so nothing is re-spread. AirdropClaim per-NFT division, duplicate ids in one call, window and sweep boundaries, and claimFor skip paths. JigsawCollection fee split constants, payment and price overflow guards, phase, lifetime and reserve caps, setPhases and setPhaseRoot locks, list-order rule, and the double-hashed Merkle leaf. CreatorFeeHook split and recycle rounding, the uint128 chunk cast against JIG supply, and the buy-fee conversion target. Off-chain price guard median and deviation math, the airdrop push gate, and server-side phase validation mirroring the contract.

Limits. The repository ships without lib/, so compilation and the two scratch tests ran in a copy outside the tree with freshly cloned dependencies, OpenZeppelin 5.4 and current v4-periphery. Fork tests were not run. The proof's excluded list is built by hand to mirror CoinFactory._excluded, so a fix applied inside CoinFactory should be confirmed with the existing fork suite as well.

    • mediumPotVault is not excluded from holder rewards: JIG streamed to the swept airdrop remainder is unclaimable and lostsrc/CoinFactory.sol:241

CreatorCoin streams JIG pro rata to every non-excluded balance. CoinFactory._excluded() lists only the pool manager, the fee hook and the airdrop recipient (AirdropClaim). AirdropClaim.sweep() (src/AirdropClaim.sol:131) sends every unclaimed share of the 5% airdrop (ids never minted in the 30-day window, dead-owned ids, shares nobody pushed or claimed, rounding dust) to pot, which on mainnet is PotVault (go-day.sh: DeployRest POT=JIG_POT).

PotVault then holds creator coin as an ordinary eligible holder, but it has no code path that can call CreatorCoin.claim() (it only declares and pays merkle distributions of tokens it holds). Every reward stream after the sweep credits PotVault's share to rewards[pot], and that JIG stays in the coin contract forever: it is neither claimable nor added to carry. The loss is deterministic and recurs on every daily stream for the life of the coin.

Numbers: a 10,000-id collection where 1,000 ids are minted inside the window and all claimed: 45,000,000 coin (4.5% of supply) is swept to the pot; with the seeded pool excluded, a 5% creator allocation and 5,000,000 coin held by traders, the pot holds 45/100 of the eligible supply and 45% of every day's holder rewards are stranded. With no NFT minted in time (the proof) the pot takes 5/6 of each stream when traders hold 1% of supply.

Dilution of the same kind, smaller, also hits any non-excluded protocol address that ends up holding coin.

State: coin launched through CoinFactory with excluded = {poolManager, hook, AirdropClaim}; no NFT claims its share within 30 days; anyone calls AirdropClaim.sweep(coin) -> 50,000,000e18 coin to PotVault.

Then RewardsForwarder.pull() notifies 600e18 JIG with alice holding 10,000,000e18 (eligible supply 60,000,000e18).

      After one day: earned(alice) = 100e18, earned(pot) = 499.99e18.

Expected: holders receive the whole stream (or the pot can claim its part).

Actual: 500e18 JIG stays in the coin with no function able to move it; repeats every stream.

      Proof test: test/scratch/PotStrandedRewards.t.sol (fails now on earned(pot) == 0).

Minimal fix: add the pot to the coin's excluded list at launch (e.g. e[3] = hook.pot() in _excluded(), and keep coinInitCodeHash in step), or have sweep() burn the remainder / send it to an excluded sink instead of the pot.

    • lowinitialize() accepts freeze=true with an empty base URI, freezing a collection on a blank URI that freezeMetadata() would refusesrc/JigsawCollection.sol:163

freezeMetadata() guards bytes(baseURI).length == 0 with NothingToFreeze because freezing a collection without a base URI leaves every token on the placeholder for good. The same freeze done in initialize() (the CollectionLauncher/JigsawCollectionFactory create path with freeze=true, revealLater=false) only checks freeze && revealLater; an empty uri passes.

The clone is then metadataFrozen with baseURI == "" and unrevealedURI == "": setBaseURI, setUnrevealedURI and setRevealSeed all revert MetadataIsFrozen, and tokenURI(id) returns "" for every token forever. Operator-only input, but one that the contract's own later guard treats as invalid and that cannot be undone (no renounce, no upgrade of a clone).

      JigsawCollectionFactory.create(c, phases, provenance, "", revealLater=false, freeze=true).

Expected: revert NothingToFreeze as freezeMetadata() does.

      Actual: create succeeds, metadataFrozen() == true, baseURI() == "", setBaseURI("ipfs://x/") reverts MetadataIsFrozen, tokenURI(1) == "" after a mint.

Verified with a scratch Foundry test.

Fix: in initialize, if (freeze && (revealLater || bytes(uri).length == 0)) revert NothingToFreeze();.

    • lowAirdropClaim assumes ids 1..maxSupply: on a 0-based collection token 0 can never claim and its share is swept to the potsrc/AirdropClaim.sol:84

notify() fixes the range as ids 1..maxId with maxId = maxSupply(). CoinFactory.launch() accepts any collection contract whose creator() (or owner()) is the caller, not only JigsawCollection/LoomCollection clones, and nothing in AirdropClaim checks the id base.

For a 0-based collection (ERC721A style, ids 0..maxSupply-1) the owner of token 0 is refused with BadId while id == maxSupply does not exist (ownerOf reverts, so claim() reverts NotOwnerOf for that id and claimFor() skips it). One holder loses their share, which sweep() later sends to the pot. HolderDrip documents the same 1-based assumption explicitly; AirdropClaim does not and has no guard.

Boundary: the id range is assumed, not read, from the collection.

      State: a coin launched for a collection with maxSupply() == 100 whose ids run 0..99. notify(): maxId = 100, perNft = 50,000,000e18 / 100.

      Owner of token 0 calls claim(coin, [0]).

      Expected: receives perNft.

Actual: revert BadId(0); claimable(coin,[0]) returns 0; claimFor(coin,[0]) skips it; after 30 days sweep() moves that share to the pot.

Fix: either restrict launch() to collections the JigsawCollectionFactory / Loom factory registry made (isCollection), or record a first-id base in the Drop (probe ownerOf(0) in notify, or accept 0 when ownerOf(0) succeeds) and check id < base || id >= base + maxId.

    • infoRewardsForwarder comments describe a 7-day stream; CreatorCoin.DURATION is 1 daysrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:24

The NatSpec at lines 15, 24 and 53 says rewards stream over seven days and that each pull restarts a 7-day stream. CreatorCoin.DURATION was changed to 1 day (round 8) and MIN_INTERVAL equals it, which is what makes the 'nothing is ever re-spread' argument hold: when the next pull is allowed, periodFinish has already been reached. The reasoning in the comment is therefore stale and would mislead a reader checking that a pull cannot stretch holders' payouts.

      Read src/RewardsForwarder.sol:15,24,53 against src/CreatorCoin.sol:34 (DURATION = 1 days).

Expected: comments state the 1-day stream and that MIN_INTERVAL == DURATION is the invariant.

      Actual: 7 days.

  3. Audit permissionsAgent #1484found 1 medium, 1 low, 2 info

Review complete. The findings file is written and valid, and the proof test for the medium finding fails on the current code as required.

    What I found

    • Medium, src/AirdropClaim.sol:111. The permissionless push claimFor sends an NFT's airdrop share to whatever ownerOf returns and marks the id claimed. If the NFT sits in a contract that cannot move ERC-20s, such as an escrow marketplace listing or a vault, the share is stranded and the real holder's later claim reverts with AlreadyClaimed. Anyone can trigger this for specific ids. Proof at test/scratch/AirdropPushToEscrow.t.sol fails today and passes once claimFor skips owners that have code. Fix is a one-line check next to the DEAD skip.
    • Low, src/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50. Every phased collection is owned by the hot operator key from birth, and the Safe's setOperator only affects future clones. A lost key strands every unrevealed or paused collection forever, and a leaked key gives an attacker metadata, pause, reveal-seed and ownership-transfer powers the Safe cannot revoke. The Loom path has CollectionLauncher.reoffer for this exact case. Suggested fix: an immutable guardian on the clone, set like PLATFORM, with a single ownership-recovery function.
    • Info, src/CollectionLauncher.sol:77. create silently ignores freeze when revealLater is true, while the phased initialize reverts for the same input.
    • Info, src/RewardsForwarder.sol:24. Three comments still describe a 7-day stream; the coin streams over 1 day.

    What I checked and cleared

    • CreatorCoin reward accounting: excluded set is fixed in the constructor before the mint, every transfer settles both sides before balances move, excludedSupply mirrors mints, burns and excluded-to-excluded moves. No overflow path in the per-token math at 1e30 precision with 1e27 supplies. JIT holding gains only seconds held. Carry handles the nobody-eligible case. Pause is bounded per decision but renewable, which is a documented trust assumption. The ten existing reward tests pass.
    • RewardsForwarder: once-a-day gate, zero-amount pulls do not restart the stream, reverts cleanly while the coin is paused with no state change. Notifier is set once by the factory to the creator-supplied flywheel, which the hook already restricts against protocol addresses.
    • AirdropClaim: double claims blocked before transfer, factory binding is once-only and the deploy script binds then renounces, go-day reads back the renounced owner, sweep and claim windows do not overlap.
    • JigsawCollection and factory: phase caps, lifetime cap, phase supply, Merkle leaf matches the server's double-hash, list-after-open ordering, setPhases and setPhaseRoot timing locks, totals reserved before _safeMint under nonReentrant, implementation initializer disabled, clone initialised in the creating transaction. Only the operator creates.
    • CreatorFeeHook changes: flywheel slice never recycles, creator-only recycle, setKeeper on both modules guarded by the hook's platform (the Safe).
    • Deploy wiring: go-day asserts PotVault owner is the pot Safe, platform on hook, factory and both NFT implementations is the team Safe, launcher admin and phased-factory owner are the Safe.
    • Off-chain: flywheel modules are deployed with the collection they serve, proofs are served only for the root on chain, keeper waits for nextPullAt.

Not covered in depth: the Uniswap v4 swap and fee-conversion math in CreatorFeeHook, LPDeepening, JIGLaunch and PotVault beyond their role wiring, and the price-guard numerics in the keeper, which are outside the permissions brief.

    • mediumAirdropClaim.claimFor pushes an NFT's share to a contract that holds the NFT (escrow, vault, marketplace) and marks the id claimed, so the beneficial owner loses the share for good; anyone can triggersrc/AirdropClaim.sol:111

claimFor(coin, ids) is permissionless and sends id's share to whatever ownerOf(id) returns, then sets claimed[coin][id]. It skips only address(0) and DEAD. When the NFT sits in a contract that cannot move ERC-20s (an escrow-based marketplace listing, a lending or staking vault, a bridge) the coin is pushed into that contract and is irrecoverable, and because the id is now claimed the real owner's later claim() reverts AlreadyClaimed.

The pull path claim() would have waited for the holder to act with the NFT in their own wallet; the push path removes that choice, and it is not limited to the keeper: a griefer can target exactly the ids held by such contracts.

Trust-gap: the access guard (anyone) is fine for pushing to EOAs, the economics (share to current owner) is fine for claim(), but combined they let a third party decide the moment at which an id's share is settled to a holder that cannot receive it.

Minimal fix preserving the push design: in claimFor skip owners with code (owner_.code.length > 0), leaving contract holders (Safes, escrows) to call claim() themselves or wait until the NFT is back in a wallet; alternatively require msg.sender to be the keeper for ids owned by contracts. A one-line check at the skip on line 109 is enough.

State: coin launched for collection C (maxSupply 10), AirdropClaim.notify fixes perNft = 5e25/10.

Alice owns #7 and has it listed on an escrow marketplace contract E (implements onERC721Received, has no ERC-20 withdraw).

      Input: griefer calls claimFor(coin,[7]).

Expected: #7's share stays claimable by Alice (or goes to Alice).

Actual: 5e24 coin is transferred to E and claimed[coin][7] = true; after Alice cancels the listing and calls claim(coin,[7]) it reverts AlreadyClaimed; the share is stranded in E forever (not even sweep() reaches it).

Proof test test/scratch/AirdropPushToEscrow.t.sol fails on the current code and passes once claimFor skips contract owners.

    • lowPhased collections are owned by the hot operator key from birth with no recovery path: rotating the factory operator does not reach existing clones (asymmetry with CollectionLauncher.reoffer)src/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50

Every JigsawCollection clone is initialised with owner_ = operator, the server's hot operating wallet (DeployPhased: 'OPERATOR: the operating wallet (creates and owns every collection)'). The owner can pause/unpause minting, setPhases before start, setPhaseRoot, setRevealSeed, setBaseURI/setUnrevealedURI until frozen, reserveMint and transferOwnership; renounce is disabled. The Safe's only powers are setOperator and setImplementation, which affect future clones only.

The Loom path got an admin escape hatch for exactly the lost-key case (CollectionLauncher.reoffer, Safe-only), but the phased path has none: if the operator key is lost, every reveal-later collection it owns can never be revealed or frozen and a paused one stays paused; if the key leaks, the attacker can point every unfrozen collection's baseURI anywhere, pick reveal seeds, pause mints and accept ownership of all of them to their own address, and the Safe cannot intervene.

This is a trust assumption the README states (operator owns), reported here because the same assumption was judged unacceptable for the Loom path. Minimal fix without changing who operates: give JigsawCollection an immutable GUARDIAN (the factory owner, i.e. the Safe) set in the constructor like PLATFORM, with a single guardian-only function that calls _transferOwnership(newOwner) (or that can pause); the operator keeps every day-to-day power.

State: factory.create(...) with revealLater = true; operator key lost (or leaked).

Input: Safe calls factory.setOperator(newOps) and newOps calls collection.setRevealSeed / setBaseURI / unpause / transferOwnership.

Expected: the platform can recover administration of the collection.

Actual: every call reverts OwnableUnauthorizedAccount(newOps); renounceOwnership also reverts (CannotRenounce) so the clone is permanently administered by the lost or hostile key.

Compare CollectionLauncher.reoffer (admin-only) which exists for the same situation on the Loom path.

    • infoCollectionLauncher.create silently ignores freeze when revealLater is set, while JigsawCollection.initialize reverts NothingToFreeze for the same inputsrc/CollectionLauncher.sol:77

The two launch paths accept the same (uri, revealLater, freeze) triple from the same operator back end. The phased path treats freeze && revealLater as a caller error and reverts; the Loom path returns success and launches an unfrozen collection. An operator (or a script) that relies on the freeze flag gets a Launched event with no indication that nothing was frozen.

Minimal fix: revert in create() when freeze && revealLater, matching JigsawCollection.initialize (or document the Loom behaviour and make the phased one lenient; the two should agree).

Input: operator calls CollectionLauncher.create(c, provenance, 'ipfs://placeholder', revealLater = true, freeze = true).

Expected (per the phased path): revert NothingToFreeze.

Actual: collection is created with unrevealedURI set, metadataFrozen stays false, Launched is emitted; the same arguments to JigsawCollectionFactory.create revert.

    • infoRewardsForwarder comments describe a 7-day stream and 'seven days' timing argument; CreatorCoin.DURATION is 1 daysrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:24

Lines 15, 24 and 53 of RewardsForwarder still say the coin streams over seven days; CreatorCoin.DURATION was changed to 1 day in this round. The reasoning that 'choosing when to pull gains nobody anything' depends on the stream length matching MIN_INTERVAL, so a reader verifying the timing argument from the forwarder alone is misled.

Fix: update the three comments to 'DURATION (1 day)'.

      Read src/RewardsForwarder.sol lines 15, 24, 53 against src/CreatorCoin.sol line 34 (DURATION = 1 days).

      Expected: consistent numbers.

Actual: 7 days vs 1 day.

  4. Audit flowAgent #330found 1 high, 1 low

Review complete. The findings file holds two substantiated defects, one High with a Foundry proof and one Low.

High: the pot is not excluded from holder rewards (src/CoinFactory.sol:242). AirdropClaim.sweep sends every unclaimed airdrop share to PotVault, but CoinFactory's exclusion list only names the pool manager, the hook and the airdrop claim. The pot's coin balance then counts in the eligible supply, and the JIG accrued to it can never be claimed, since PotVault has no path to call the coin's claim function. With the per-NFT share fixed on maxSupply, any collection that has not minted out sends most of the 5% to the pot. In the proof, 1,000 of 10,000 minted leaves 45M coin in the pot against 55M held by real holders, so 45% of every daily stream is stranded inside the coin contract forever. The proof at test/scratch/PotStranded.t.sol runs the real CoinFactory.launch with mocked Uniswap pieces and the real AirdropClaim. It fails on the current code and passes with the pot appended to the exclusion list, which I verified against a patched copy outside the repository.

Low: freeze at initialize with an empty base URI (src/JigsawCollection.sol:139). initialize only rejects freeze together with revealLater. With revealLater false and an empty URI, the clone is frozen with no base URI, every tokenURI returns an empty string, and every setter reverts. freezeMetadata itself refuses this state. Operator-only, but irreversible.

Checked and cleared in the round-8 scope:

    • CreatorCoin accounting: carry and dust, extension on notify, settle-before-move ordering, transfers to and from excluded addresses, burns, overflow headroom, just-in-time holding, the 14-day renewable pause. The pause is a documented platform trust assumption.
    • RewardsForwarder: permissionless pull with a one-day lock cannot be used to steal or delay beyond the lock; a pull during a pause reverts whole.
    • AirdropClaim: no double claim across claim and claimFor, ids above maxId rejected, claim and sweep windows do not overlap, notify is once per coin and factory-only, owner renounced after binding. Ids minted inside the window claim by design.
    • CreatorFeeHook: a flywheel slice never recycles, setKeeper on both modules is platform-only.
    • JigsawCollection: phase cap, lifetime cap and phase supply all checked before the mint, state written before _safeMint under nonReentrant, double-hashed Merkle leaves matching merkle.mjs, setPhases locked by any phase mint or phase-0 start, setPhaseRoot locked by that phase's start, list-order rule enforced on both paths, no renounce. Factory registry is set in the creating transaction.
    • Deployment: go-day.sh wires the AirdropClaim pot to PotVault, binds and renounces the claim, reads every role back and stops on a prediction mismatch.
    • Off-chain: keeper waits for nextPullAt, pushes only minted unclaimed non-dead ids, price guard uses its own readings, phases serve proofs only for the on-chain root, flywheel deploys persist the pending hash before broadcast.

Not run: the repository's fork test suite, since it needs a live RPC. Dependencies were cloned outside the repository and the scratch tests ran from an external project linked to the sources, so no repository configuration changed.

    • highPot (PotVault) is not excluded from CreatorCoin rewards: swept airdrop coin earns JIG that no code path can ever claim, permanently stranding a large share of every streamsrc/CoinFactory.sol:242

CreatorCoin._update counts every non-excluded balance in eligibleSupply() and accrues rewards to it. CoinFactory._excluded() lists only the pool manager, the fee hook and the airdrop recipient (plus the factory, DEAD and the coin itself in the constructor). AirdropClaim.sweep() sends every unclaimed share (unminted ids under maxSupply, burned/dead-owned ids, rounding) to pot, which on mainnet is PotVault (go-day.sh: POT=JIG_POT; DeployRest: new AirdropClaim(deployer, pot)).

PotVault has no function that can call CreatorCoin.claim(), its owner Safe has no arbitrary-call path, and PotVault.declare() can only move tokens PotVault holds, not JIG sitting inside the coin. So from the first sweep on, the pot's coin balance is a (often dominant) part of the eligible supply: the JIG proportional to it is deducted from every holder's share and sits in the CreatorCoin contract forever.

With the per-NFT share fixed on maxSupply, any collection that has not minted out sends most of the 5% to the pot: 1,000 of 10,000 minted leaves 45M coin (4.5% of supply) in the pot, versus 55M held by all real holders in the proof, so 45% of every day's stream is lost. Early after launch real holders are fewer, so the lost fraction can be higher. This is a silent, permanent loss of holder rewards, no attacker needed.

Minimal fix: add the airdrop pot to the exclusion list in CoinFactory._excluded() (read AirdropClaim(airdropRecipient).pot() once in the constructor into an immutable, append it; keep coinInitCodeHash consistent).

Equivalent alternative: have AirdropClaim.sweep burn to DEAD instead of sending to the pot, or exclude the pot in the CreatorCoin constructor from a factory-supplied address.

State: coin launched through CoinFactory.launch for a 10,000-max collection with 1,000 minted; keeper pushes all 1,000 ids (AirdropClaim.claimFor), 31 days pass, anyone calls AirdropClaim.sweep(coin): 45,000,000e18 coin moves to PotVault.

Real holders hold 55,000,000e18 in total.

The forwarder notifies 1,000e18 JIG; after 1 day: expected earned(pot) == 0 and excluded(pot) == true (the pot is a protocol address like the airdrop claim); actual earned(pot) == 449999999999999997120 (45% of the stream), excluded(pot) == false, and that JIG can never leave the coin.

Proof: test/scratch/PotStranded.t.sol fails on this code and passes once the pot is in CoinFactory._excluded().

    • lowJigsawCollection.initialize accepts freeze=true with an empty base URI, freezing every token on an empty tokenURI for goodsrc/JigsawCollection.sol:139

freezeMetadata() refuses when baseURI is empty (NothingToFreeze, line 328) because a frozen collection with no base URI leaves every token on the placeholder forever. initialize() sets metadataFrozen = true on the freeze flag without that check: it only rejects freeze together with revealLater.

With revealLater=false and uri="" the clone is created with baseURI="", unrevealedURI="" and metadataFrozen=true. tokenURI() then returns "" for every token, and setBaseURI/setUnrevealedURI/setRevealSeed all revert MetadataIsFrozen, so the collection can never carry metadata.

The factory's create() is operator-only, so this is an operational footgun rather than an attack, but it is irreversible and contradicts the stated 'freeze (needs a base URI)' rule the launcher and freezeMetadata() enforce.

Minimal fix: in initialize(), if (freeze && bytes(uri).length == 0) revert NothingToFreeze(); (or reuse the freezeMetadata check after setting baseURI).

      JigsawCollectionFactory.create(Config{name:'N',symbol:'S',maxSupply:100,maxPerWallet:10,creator,royaltyBps:500}, [Phase{start:now,price:0,maxPerWallet:10,supply:0,root:0}], provenance=0x01, uri="", revealLater=false, freeze=true) from the operator.

Expected: revert NothingToFreeze (as freezeMetadata() does for an empty base URI).

      Actual: succeeds; after mint(1) with 0.0005 ether, tokenURI(1) == "" and metadataFrozen() == true; owner's setBaseURI('ipfs://x/') reverts MetadataIsFrozen.

Verified with test/scratch/FreezeEmpty.t.sol (test_state_after_freeze_with_empty_uri passes on current code showing the stuck state; test_initialize_freeze_with_empty_uri_is_refused fails on current code).

  5. Audit economicsAgent #162found 1 high, 3 low, 3 info

Review complete. The findings file holds seven entries and the proof test fails on the current code and passes once the pot is excluded.

    What I found

    • High, src/CoinFactory.sol:245. PotVault is not an excluded holder. After the keeper runs the 30-day sweep, the unclaimed airdrop remainder sits in the pot, counts toward the eligible supply, and accrues JIG that PotVault can never claim. In the proof the pot takes about 98% of a day's stream and that JIG is stuck in the coin forever. Fix: add the pot to the factory's exclusion list. Proof at test/scratch/PotEarnsStuckRewards.t.sol.
    • Low, JigsawCollection. The initializer accepts freeze with an empty URI, so a collection can be frozen on no metadata irreversibly.
    • Low, AirdropClaim. The push airdrop sends a share to any contract that owns the NFT, such as escrow or vault contracts, and marks the id claimed, so the holder can never recover it.
    • Low, CoinFactory. Nothing on chain checks the isCollection registry. A self-made collection with maxSupply 1 lets its launcher take the whole 5% airdrop.
    • Info. A pause batches up to 14 days of fees into one 1-day stream that anyone can time with pull. Carry is only re-streamed on a later non-zero notify. The operator hot wallet owns every phased collection, recorded as a trust assumption.

    What I checked and cleared

    • CreatorCoin reward accounting: exclusion bookkeeping on transfers, burns, mints and excluded-to-excluded moves; precision headroom; pause behaviour; the restart-on-notify math and dust carry.
    • RewardsForwarder: the once-a-day gate, revert paths while paused, and front-running of the hook claim.
    • AirdropClaim: double claims, id range checks, sweep timing against the claim window, and the notify balance read in the launch transaction.
    • JigsawCollection: phase ordering rules, Merkle leaf format, per-phase, lifetime and phase-supply caps, the reserve mint, reentrancy around safeMint, and the fee split arithmetic.
    • Deployment: role read-backs in go-day.sh, AirdropClaim binding and renounce order, the hook's factory and deepening binding.

    Limits

    • The checkout has no lib directory and GitHub was blocked, so I compiled in a temp copy using npm packages for OpenZeppelin and Uniswap v4. All 50 non-fork tests pass there. Fork tests were not run.
    • The proof uses a stub factory that mirrors the current exclusion list, because the real factory needs a live v4 stack. After the fix the stub needs the same extra entry.
    • Off-chain review was limited to the keeper's airdrop gate and the rewards reader. The price guard, phases and flywheels modules were not reviewed in depth.

    • highPotVault is not excluded from holder rewards: the airdrop remainder swept to the pot earns JIG that can never be claimed and dilutes every real holdersrc/CoinFactory.sol:245

CreatorCoin excludes only the factory, DEAD, itself and CoinFactory._excluded() = {poolManager, hook, airdropRecipient}. The pot (PotVault, hook.pot()) is not excluded, yet it is a guaranteed coin holder: AirdropClaim.sweep() (src/AirdropClaim.sol:131) sends every unclaimed, unminted and dust share of the 5% airdrop to it after 30 days, and for a phased collection that is far from minted out (or a collection without maxSupply) that is most of the 5%.

From then on the pot's balance is part of eligibleSupply() and CreatorCoin._update/_updateAccount accrue rewards[pot] on every stream. PotVault has no function that can call CreatorCoin.claim() (its only outbound paths are declared merkle distributions of tokens it already holds), and claim() pays only msg.sender, so the JIG accrued to the pot stays inside the coin contract forever.

Economic effect: with the pot holding P coin and real holders H coin, a fraction P/(P+H) of every day's flywheel slice is burned in place. Early in a coin's life H is small (creator share, early buyers, the few airdrop claims) so P/(P+H) is close to 1: in the proof 49M swept vs 1M held gives 98% of the stream lost. There is no attacker and no precondition beyond the normal keeper-run sweep.

Minimal fix: add hook.pot() to CoinFactory._excluded() (e = new address; e[3] = hook.pot();) so the pot is excluded like the other protocol addresses, which also keeps the swept coin's share of the stream for real holders. Alternative (if the pot should earn): give CreatorCoin a claimFor(address) that pays account, so the keeper can move the pot's JIG into PotVault.

Note the attached proof mirrors the factory's current exclusion list in a stub factory (CoinFactory needs a live v4 stack); after fixing _excluded(), mirror the same list in the stub (or fix in CreatorCoin) and the test passes.

State: collection maxSupply 100, ids 1 and 2 minted to alice and bob; coin launched, 50M coin (5%) parked in AirdropClaim, pool 900M (excluded).

Steps: claimFor(coin,[1,2]) pays 1M; warp 31 days; sweep(coin) sends 49M to PotVault; notifier calls notifyReward(2400e18); warp 1 day.

      Expected: earned(pot)==0 and earned(alice)+earned(bob)~=2400e18.

Actual: earned(pot)=2351.99e18 (98% of the stream) and alice+bob share ~48e18; the pot's 2352 JIG can never be claimed (PotVault cannot call claim()).

    • lowJigsawCollection.initialize accepts freeze=true with an empty base URI, freezing a collection on no metadata for goodsrc/JigsawCollection.sol:164

freezeMetadata() refuses to freeze when baseURI is empty (NothingToFreeze, line 328) because every token would stay on the placeholder forever. initialize() applies the same freeze flag but only checks freeze && revealLater; it does not check that uri is non-empty.

A create(c, phases, provenance, "", false, true) call therefore produces a collection with metadataFrozen = true, baseURI = "" and unrevealedURI = "": tokenURI() returns an empty string for every token and setBaseURI/setUnrevealedURI/setRevealSeed revert MetadataIsFrozen forever. The operator is the only caller, so this is an operational foot-gun rather than an attack, but it is irreversible and the mint is still open (minting does not depend on metadata).

Fix: in initialize, if (freeze && bytes(uri).length == 0) revert NothingToFreeze(); (same rule as freezeMetadata).

      JigsawCollectionFactory.create(c, phases, bytes32(1), "", revealLater=false, freeze=true).

Expected: revert NothingToFreeze like freezeMetadata() would.

      Actual: succeeds; metadataFrozen()==true, baseURI()=="", tokenURI(1) after a mint returns "" and setBaseURI("ipfs://...") reverts MetadataIsFrozen.

    • lowPush airdrop sends an NFT's share to whatever contract holds it (marketplace escrow, lending or staking vault), where it is unrecoverablesrc/AirdropClaim.sol:111

claimFor() marks the id claimed and transfers perNft to ownerOf(id) without regard to whether that owner can ever move an ERC-20.

The keeper pushes every minted, unclaimed id in batches from the first hours of the drop, so an NFT that sits in an escrow-style marketplace listing, a lending protocol, a staking vault or a multisig without arbitrary-call (any contract that cannot call CreatorCoin.transfer) has its share pushed into that contract and the id is marked claimed: the real holder can no longer claim it by withdrawing the NFT within the 30-day window, and the coin is stuck in the escrow forever (it also stays eligible for holder rewards, draining the stream like the pot case). claim() by the holder would have been impossible too, but without the push the share would at least go to the pot at sweep or be claimable after the holder unlists.

Fix: in claimFor skip ids whose owner has code (owner_.code.length > 0), leaving them to claim() by the owning contract or to the sweep; optionally let an ERC-721 owner contract that implements a claimTo(address)-style hook opt in.

Alice lists NFT #7 on an escrow marketplace (ownerOf(7) == Escrow, a contract with no ERC-20 withdraw).

Keeper calls claimFor(coin,[7]) at hour 1.

Expected: Alice's share stays claimable by Alice (after she unlists) or goes to the pot.

Actual: claimed[coin][7] = true and perNft coin sits in Escrow forever; Alice's later claim(coin,[7]) reverts AlreadyClaimed.

    • lowCoinFactory.launch trusts any contract as the collection: a self-made 'collection' lets its launcher take the whole 5% airdrop and bypass the isCollection registry on chainsrc/CoinFactory.sol:127

The brief says the JigsawCollectionFactory keeps an isCollection registry that 'the coin side trusts', but nothing on chain reads it: CoinFactory.launch only requires code at p.collection and that creator()/owner() returns msg.sender, and AirdropClaim.notify reads maxSupply()/totalSupply() and claim/claimFor read ownerOf() from that same contract.

A launcher can deploy a contract whose creator() is themselves, maxSupply() returns 1 and ownerOf(1) returns themselves, launch a coin for it (paying only the launch fee), and in the same block call AirdropClaim.claim(coin,[1]) to receive the full 50,000,000 coin airdrop, on top of the 5% creatorBps and the dev buy.

Buyers of that coin on the shared hook/pool see a coin whose 'airdrop to NFT holders' went entirely to the creator, and the coin carries the same vanity suffix and the same hook as a genuine one. Only the off-chain launch page (offchain/launch.mjs:381-392) filters on isCollection; the contracts do not.

If launching for arbitrary contracts is intended, document it; otherwise require JigsawCollectionFactory.isCollection(p.collection) (or the Loom factory's registry) in launch(), or at least have AirdropClaim treat a collection with maxSupply() < some floor as 'no drop'.

      Deploy Fake { function creator() returns (address){return attacker;} function maxSupply() returns (uint256){return 1;} function ownerOf(uint256) returns (address){return attacker;} }. attacker calls CoinFactory.launch({collection: Fake, salt: bytes32(bytes20(Fake)), creatorBps: 500, ...}) with the fee, then AirdropClaim.claim(coin,[1]).

Expected (per the stated trust): launch refuses an unregistered collection.

Actual: launch succeeds, drops[coin].perNft = 50_000_000e18 and claim() transfers the whole 5% to attacker.

    • infoPause and the one-day stream: a pause batches up to 14 days of fees into a single one-day stream that anyone can time with pull()src/CreatorCoin.sol:98

While rewards are paused notifyReward reverts, so RewardsForwarder.pull() reverts and lastPull is not advanced; the coin's slice keeps accruing in the hook as claimable[forwarder]. The moment the pause lapses (or is lifted) anyone can call pull(): up to 14 days of fees are then streamed over DURATION = 1 day.

Because every transfer is a stake/unstake with no lock, a large buyer who enters just before that pull and exits a day later captures balance/(eligibleSupply) of the whole batch while paying two swap fees. Under normal daily pulls this is uneconomic; after a pause, or after a long gap with no trading-free interval, the batch is public knowledge and the pull is permissionless.

This is inherent to the chosen StakingRewards design and the pause is a requested power; recorded as a trust/design assumption for the Safe (prefer lifting a pause with a known-small backlog, or have the forwarder spread a backlog larger than N days over N streams).

setRewardsPaused(true); 13 days of swaps accrue 13x daily fees in the hook; at pausedUntil the attacker buys B coin, calls pull(), holds 1 day, claims B/(B+H) of 13 days of fees, sells.

Expected from the daily-stream design: one day of intake per stream.

Actual: 13 days in one stream.

    • infoReward carry (streamed while nobody was eligible) is only re-streamed by a later notifyReward, which pull() skips when the hook has nothingsrc/CreatorCoin.sol:159

carry is folded into the stream only inside notifyReward(). RewardsForwarder.pull() calls notifyReward only if (amount > 0), and notifyReward is notifier-only, so for a coin whose trading stops (no further fees) a non-zero carry stays in the contract indefinitely even after holders appear. Also the RewardsForwarder NatSpec (lines 15-16, 24, 53) still says the stream is seven days while DURATION is now 1 day.

Low impact (carry is small unless a stream ran with zero eligible supply, which only happens at launch with creatorBps = 0 and no dev buy).

Fix: let pull() notify when carry > 0 even if amount == 0, or allow anyone to call a restream() that notifies 0; update the comments.

Launch with creatorBps=0 and no dev buy; notifier streams 70e18 while eligibleSupply()==0; a day later alice buys; trading then stops.

Expected: alice eventually receives the 70e18.

Actual: carry==70e18 forever; earned(alice) stays 0 until some future pull with amount>0.

    • infoTrust assumption: every JigsawCollection is owned by the operator hot wallet, which can pause mints, rewrite unfrozen URIs and reserve-mintsrc/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50

create() makes the factory's operator (the back end's hot wallet, per offchain/README) the owner of every clone. The owner can pause()/unpause() minting, setPhases() before the first phase starts, setPhaseRoot() for a phase that has not started, setBaseURI/setUnrevealedURI/setRevealSeed until frozen, and reserveMint 1% at the phase-0 price; renounceOwnership is disabled, so ownership only moves by transferOwnership to the Safe.

A compromised operator key can therefore stop a live mint or point every unfrozen collection at other metadata, and the artist (creator) has no on-chain control of their own collection. This matches the brief's intended design; it is recorded as a trust assumption.

Mitigation: transfer collection ownership to the Safe after the mint window or freeze metadata at reveal (the code already supports both).

      Operator key leaks.

Attacker calls col.pause() on every live collection (mint halts) and col.setBaseURI("ipfs://evil/") on every unfrozen one.

Expected per artists: only the creator or the Safe can do this.

Actual: the operator address alone can.

  6. Audit judgeAgent #595found 1 high, 1 medium, 3 low, 5 info

The review is complete. The findings file .imd-findings.json holds 10 merged findings, two with Foundry proofs, and the working tree contains nothing else I added.

    Outcome of the judging

All 17 specialist entries reproduced in some form. I merged them into 10 findings and adjusted severities where the specialists disagreed.

    • High. PotVault is not excluded from CreatorCoin rewards (src/CoinFactory.sol:245). Three specialists reported it at medium, high and high. I kept the high: the swept airdrop remainder lands in PotVault, which cannot call the coin's claim function, so its share of every daily JIG stream is lost for good and real holders are diluted by the same fraction. The attached proof uses the real factory launch path and fails on the current code with 45% of a stream stranded. I confirmed it passes once the pot is appended to the exclusion list, then reverted that edit.
    • Medium. Permissionless push to contract-held NFTs strands the share (src/AirdropClaim.sol:111). Reported at medium and low. The proof shows an escrow receiving coin it cannot move while the id is marked claimed, and passes once code-bearing owners are skipped.
    • Low. Freeze with an empty base URI accepted in initialize (src/JigsawCollection.sol:139). Three duplicates merged. Reproduced with a scratch test.
    • Low. Token id 0 can never claim (src/AirdropClaim.sol:84). Reproduced with a scratch test.
    • Low. Operator-owned clones with no platform recovery (src/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50). Two entries merged and reported as a trust assumption with its material risk.
    • Info. Registry not read on chain (documented as open by design in the keeper), launcher silently ignoring freeze with revealLater, stale 7-day comments, pause batching into a one-day stream, and carry not re-streamed without new fees.

    Checked and cleared

    • CreatorCoin accounting: excluded-supply bookkeeping on every transfer and burn path, settlement order, dust handling, overflow headroom, flash or just-in-time holding around pull, and transfers to or from excluded addresses.
    • RewardsForwarder: pull timing griefing only delays a stream, never loses funds. A one-day interval equal to the stream length means no overlap.
    • AirdropClaim: double claims within one call, claims for ids minted inside the window, reentrancy through the coin transfer, and sweep semantics.
    • JigsawCollection: per-phase, lifetime and phase-supply caps, Merkle leaf format, list-order rule, setPhases and setPhaseRoot timing, reentrancy via safe mint, and the fee split.
    • Deploy wiring in go-day and the scripts: AirdropClaim bound then renounced, hook and factory binding order, roles read back, pot Safe owning PotVault.
    • Off-chain: keeper waits for the next pull time, airdrop batches are gated and limited to registered collections, proofs are served only for the on-chain root.

    Limits

The repository ships without its lib/ dependencies, so I installed OpenZeppelin 5.1.0 and the current v4-periphery into a temporary lib/ to compile and run the proofs, and removed it afterwards. The pinned v4-periphery commit named in the earlier audit report is no longer reachable upstream. Fork tests were not run, and no static analyzer was used.

    • mediumAirdropClaim.claimFor pushes an NFT's share to whatever contract holds the NFT (escrow, vault, bridge) and marks the id claimed, so the beneficial owner loses the share for good; anyone can trigger itsrc/AirdropClaim.sol:111

claimFor(coin, ids) is permissionless and transfers id's share to whatever ownerOf(id) returns, then sets claimed[coin][id].

    • lowJigsawCollection.initialize accepts freeze=true with an empty base URI, freezing a collection on no metadata for good (freezeMetadata() refuses the same state)src/JigsawCollection.sol:139

freezeMetadata() guards bytes(baseURI).length == 0 with NothingToFreeze (line 328) because a frozen collection without a base URI leaves every token on the placeholder forever.

    • lowAirdropClaim assumes ids 1..maxSupply: on a 0-based collection token 0 can never claim and its share is swept to the potsrc/AirdropClaim.sol:84

notify() fixes the claimable range as ids 1..maxId with maxId = maxSupply() (or totalSupply()).

      State: a coin launched for a collection with maxSupply() == 100 whose ids run 0..99 (every id minted). notify(): maxId = 100, perNft = 50,000,000e18 / 100.

    • lowEvery JigsawCollection clone is owned by the operator hot key from birth with no platform recovery path; rotating the factory operator does not reach existing clones (asymmetry with CollectionLaunchersrc/JigsawCollectionFactory.sol:50

create() initialises each clone with owner_ = operator, the server's hot operating wallet (script/DeployPhased.s.sol: "OPERATOR: the operating wallet (creates and owns every collection)").

    • infoThe isCollection registry is not read on chain: CoinFactory.launch accepts any contract whose creator()/owner() is the caller, so a self-made collection's launcher takes the whole 5% airdropsrc/CoinFactory.sol:130

    • infoCollectionLauncher.create silently ignores freeze when revealLater is set, while JigsawCollection.initialize reverts NothingToFreeze for the same inputsrc/CollectionLauncher.sol:77

    • infoRewardsForwarder comments describe a 7-day stream; CreatorCoin.DURATION is 1 daysrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:24

    • infoA rewards pause batches up to 14 days of fees into a single one-day stream that anyone can time with pull()src/CreatorCoin.sol:130

    • infoReward carry (streamed while nobody was eligible) is only re-streamed by a later notifyReward, which pull() skips when the hook has nothingsrc/RewardsForwarder.sol:60

carry is folded into a stream only inside CreatorCoin.notifyReward() (line 133).
