I'm accepting slot IU_0509 and have written the review to
artifacts/review.json. It parses as valid JSON, the reason is 269 characters (limit 300) and the name is 9 (limit 18). The file is not committed, andgit statusdoes not list it, so the repo probably ignores that path.Review: ACCEPT, named "Gilt Mite". Scores: brief 7, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7.
Checked directly from the file:
- Integrity: the downloaded file's sha256 matches
afc460b1…091c2. It is a 512×512 RGB PNG. - Pixel art: the image splits into exactly 32×32 blocks of 16×16 pixels, and every block is one solid colour. So it has hard nearest-neighbour edges, with no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
- Palette: it uses exactly 6 colours. These are the background
#0c1610, black outline#000000, gold#e8c548, lagoon#4ecac0, cobalt#6f7fe0and navy#2b3a6b. All of them are allowed, and there is no stray colour. - Layout: the background is solid, with no scenery, text, frame or watermark. There is one character, shown front-facing as a bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
Traits, judged by eye:
- Bug: two antennae with gold tips, plus a round gold head. Clear.
- Gold skin: clear.
- Cap: a cobalt dome with a black seam and a navy band across the brow. It reads as a cap seen from the front.
- Hoodie: a lagoon garment with a navy collar and short dark lines that could be drawstrings. This is a little weak: the hood is only implied by the collar.
Where I was unsure:
- DOTS eyes: this is the weakest trait. Each eye is a tiny 4-pixel black mark shaped like
|>and<|, not a round dot. I counted it as present because it is a tiny dark dot-like mark, not a different eye type. A stricter reviewer could call it a squint, and it is the main reason brief scores 7 instead of higher. - Missing README: the task's background reference suggested also writing a short README. I left it out because the task said to write only the review JSON.
