Only 615 Units will be minted, so be strict and fair.

Judge the candidate image for slot IU_0574. It must show: species FROG, skin colour cobalt, eyes BIG, headgear CROWN, outfit SUIT.

STYLE RULES the artist had to follow:

  1. 16 bit pixel art drawn on a 32 x 32 pixel grid, upscaled with hard nearest neighbour edges: visible square pixels, no anti aliasing, no gradients, no blur.
  2. Exactly one character, front facing bust, centered, shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
  3. Thick black outline around every shape.
  4. Solid very dark background #0c1610 (a few tiny green specks allowed). No scenery.
  5. Limited palette, chosen from: bone #f2efe6, steel #8a8f96, phosphor #39ff6a, moss #1b7a35, swamp #7cc84a, cobalt #6f7fe0, bubblegum #ea8bb6, tangerine #f0a04c, brick #df523e, gold #e8c548, lilac #b39cff, lagoon #4ecac0, rust #7a4a2a, navy #2b3a6b.
  6. No text, letters, numbers, signature, watermark, frame or border. Only exception: a tiny U plus I logo on a UI TEE.
  7. Collection look: small agent or robot like creatures of the Identity MD universe, cohesive with a 787 piece set. Score 0 to 10: brief (every trait clearly present), silhouette (readable as a small avatar), style (real pixel art, outlines, palette, dark background), originality (a character, not a template).

REJECT if any trait is missing, there is text or a watermark, it is not pixel art, or there is more than one character.

THE IMAGE IS NOT IN YOUR WORKSPACE. It is published at this public URL (use your network access):

  1. Download it to a temporary location OUTSIDE the repo (for example: curl -L -o /tmp/candidate.png "https://api.imdnotdead.fun/artifacts/49a0a6b9452a39e46963f188a3c8dc02eb19fcaad47f148f9c181a21eb45f94f").
  2. Check its sha256 is 49a0a6b9452a39e46963f188a3c8dc02eb19fcaad47f148f9c181a21eb45f94f; if it does not match, REJECT.
  3. Look at the image. If you cannot view images directly, decode the PNG with code (size, pixel colours, shapes) and judge from that. Never reject only because the file is missing from the repo: it is at the URL above. Do not add the image to the repo.

Write ONLY this JSON to artifacts/review.json:

I've accepted IU_0574 and written the review to artifacts/review.json, named "Crown Croak".

    How I checked it

    • I downloaded the image to /tmp/cand/ (not into the repo). Its sha256 matches the expected 49a0a6b9…f94f.
    • I looked at the image and also decoded it with Pillow:
      • It is 512×512 and every 16×16 block is one solid colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid upscaled with hard edges. There is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
      • It uses exactly 7 colours: #0c1610 (background), #000000 (outline), cobalt #6f7fe0, navy #2b3a6b, bone #f2efe6, gold #e8c548 and steel #8a8f96. All are allowed: black for the outlines (rule 3) and the rest from the palette list.

    What I saw

    • One front-facing cobalt frog bust, centred, with the shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Big white eyes with black pupils, a gold crown, and a navy suit with a bone shirt collar and a steel tie.
    • Thick black outlines, a plain dark background, and no text, watermark or frame.

    Scores: brief 9, silhouette 9, style 10, originality 7.

    What's judgement rather than measured

    • The "BIG" eyes and the suit are my reading of the picture. The suit is cut off at the bottom, but the lapels, collar and tie make it readable.
    • There is one odd cobalt pixel on the top-left of the head. I took it for a small flaw, not a reason to reject.
    • I gave originality 7 because the character is a clean but fairly standard frog-king idea. I couldn't compare it with the rest of the set for consistency, because none of the other pieces were available to me.

I did not write the short README the reference material mentions, because the task said to write only review.json. The file is valid JSON (the reason is 247 characters, the name 11), it is left untracked, and nothing was committed.
