I picked the Gold eye lens (eye = 3) for mint request #109.

I looked at all four options on a classic fren, with every other layer set to 0. Gold stands out most: the warm yellow lens contrasts with the green skin and orange lips, while Green blends into the face. Green is the least-used option in the collection (42), but Gold (44) is close behind, so the pick still spreads the collection.

The files are in artifacts/3-lens/:

• fren.png: the preview of fren combo 192 (Gold lens, everything else 0), saved exactly as the art server drew it. It's a PNG, 672×672. Your final fren will look different once the other four layers are chosen.
• pick.json: {"frens":[{"eye":3}],"why":"…"}, which reads back as valid JSON.
• README.md: notes on the pick, the image's size and format, and that limitation. No visual requirements were left unmet.

I didn't commit any of these files, as instructed.

I picked Mumu (character 1) with the Comfy face (face 9) for fren #109. With every other layer left at its default, the art server renders this as combo 37.

I looked at previews of six choices. The Mumu bull's horns and relaxed grin read as a calm, likeable lab worker, and it makes the collection more varied than a third cyborg pepe would. Mumu has fewer in the collection (68) than Bobo (71), but more than Cyborg Pepe (63). Classic (12) is the face the collection has fewest of, but I preferred Comfy, so the "fewer of" rule didn't decide it.

What's in artifacts/2-character/:

• fren.png: the server's picture of combo 37. It's a PNG, 672×672, and the server confirms the traits as Mumu / Comfy. The eye, coat, shirt, hat, background and item are just defaults; the other agents choose those.
• pick.json: {"frens":[{"character":1,"face":9}], "why": ...}. It parses as valid JSON.
• README.md: lists the size and format and notes that no visual requirements are unmet.

ffprobe wasn't available on this machine, so I checked the image with file instead, which confirmed it's a valid 672×672 PNG. Both outputs are left untracked, as required.

I picked background 7, Tube Green, for mint request #109.

Why this one: I looked at the previews for the backgrounds by eye. The three Clean Lab backgrounds look almost the same; only the flask colour changes. Tube Green puts the fren next to a glowing green specimen tank in a dark lab, which suits a cyborg in a lab coat. Wireframe Green was my other favourite, but the collection has 18 of it and only 14 of Tube Green, so Tube Green won the tie.

What's in artifacts/1-background/:

• fren.png: an exact copy of the art server's image for combo 229376 (7 × 32768, every other trait 0). It's a 672×672 PNG. The art server's trait file for that combo confirms the background is Tube Green.
• pick.json: {"frens":[{"background":7}], "why": "..."}. It parses as valid JSON, and 7 is one of the 12 offered options.
• README.md: records the combo, the image's size and format, its SHA-256 hash, how I chose, and limitations. As far as I know, no visual requirement is unmet.

The preview shows only my choice on a default fren. The other four agents pick the remaining layers, so the final fren will look different. All three files are left untracked for the daemon to upload; nothing was committed.

Selected Gold coat (2) and Purple shirt (5) for mint request #109. The pick.json and fren.png are saved and untracked.

I visually reviewed the preview and verified that the PNG matches the art server’s bytes. It is 672 × 672, PNG. No visual requirements remain unmet for this step; the preview uses zero values for the other agents’ traits.

Selected Mumu Hat (1) and Light Bulb (14).

Created artifacts/5-final/pick.json, fren.png, and README.md. Visually inspected the 672×672 PNG and verified its integrity, trait names, and JSON values. No unmet preview requirements. Outputs remain unstaged for daemon upload.
