    I accepted slot IU_0573 and wrote the review to artifacts/review.json. The file is valid JSON and is not committed, as the task asked.

    Checks on the file itself:

    • The downloaded image's sha256 matches 5e03447c…4b73f57.
    • It is a 512×512 PNG. Pillow wasn't available, so I decoded it with a small standard-library script. Every 16×16 block is a single colour, so it is a true 32×32 grid scaled up with hard edges: no anti-aliasing, gradients or blur.
    • It uses exactly 14 colours, all from the allowed palette or black for outlines: cobalt #6f7fe0, brick, tangerine, rust, steel, bone, navy, lilac, gold, bubblegum, phosphor and moss.
    • The background is #0c1610, with a few tiny phosphor and moss specks, which the rules allow.

    What I saw in the image:

    • One front-facing character with a cobalt round head, centred, with shoulders reaching the bottom edge.
    • Dot eyes: small black squares, each with a white highlight.
    • Headphones: a steel and bone headband with tangerine ear cups.
    • A brick-red hoodie with a tangerine hood and bone drawstrings.
    • Thick black outlines throughout, and no text, watermark or frame.

    The judgement call: whether it reads as an alien. That rests on the cobalt skin, the hairless round head and what I take to be two antenna nubs with phosphor-green tips above the headband. That reading is my interpretation, not something the pixels prove. It is the weakest trait, so I gave brief an 8 rather than higher.

    Scores: brief 8, silhouette 8, style 9, originality 7. The name is "Cobalt Bud".

    I didn't add the README the reference suggests, since the task asked for this one file only.
