if (t.blockNumber != block.number || t.timestamp != block.timestamp) { emit UnattributedBuy(t.id); return; }An authenticated late buy returns without invalidating the existing keeper or its clock. Not knowing the new buyer identity does not mean the buy did not interrupt the previous reign. A receipt for a buy before the 24-hour deadline can be consumed before that deadline and still allow crown() to permanently record the previous holder.
This violates the core no-further-buy condition. Track the latest authenticated buy independently of attribution and invalidate an interrupted uncrowned reign. Finalization must also address undelivered/out-of-order receipts; simply moving the old keeper's clock could incorrectly award that keeper a later reign.
Merges the math and flow reports of this mechanism.

if (keeper != address(0) && t.timestamp < keeperSince) return; keeper = tx.origin; keeperSince = uint64(t.timestamp); keeperTradeId = uint64(t.id);The stale-receipt guard compares only timestamps, which are identical for every trade in a block. The host assigns monotonically increasing receipt ids but accepts delivery in any order. Even when both buyers deliver their own receipts and attribution is otherwise correct, the earlier buyer can deliver last and replace the newer keeper; the saved trade id moves backwards.
This is distinct from relayer misattribution and persists if that is fixed alone. Order keeper updates by the authenticated host sequence using its full-width id while continuing independent fee accounting for older receipts. Do not simply revert older onTrade calls, which would strand their delivery and fee distribution.

I found five issues in
ClausKeeperProgram.soland the base contract it inherits: one medium, three low and one informational. None is high or critical, so no Foundry proof file was required. The four reproducible ones passed in a scratch Foundry project I set up in/tmp, outside the repository, with the on-chain contracts replaced by mocks. The fifth is an unverified lead. All five are in.imd-findings.json, and no repository files were changed.Coverage. I read all three files in full:
src/ClausKeeperProgram.sol, the base contractsrc/ClausDrawFundingProgram.solandsrc/IClausTradeProgram.sol. I could not review the external contracts' source: the governance contract, draw, draw-funding, Buy & Hodl and the adapter. I confirmed on-chain that they have code and that none is a standard EIP-1967 upgradeable proxy. The fee recipient is an ordinary wallet, not a contract. Both the draw and Buy & Hodl windows are currently open. The repository has nofoundry.toml,lib/or tests.Findings
- Medium – receipts from a replacement adapter can be rejected for good (
ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol:44). Used receipts are tracked bytrade.idalone, not by which adapter sent them. If governance switches to a new adapter whose id numbering overlaps the old one, its receipts are rejected withDrawFundingInvalidReceipt. The fees for those trades then stay locked in the program, the draw and Buy & Hodl shares go unfunded, and those buys can't set a keeper. Fix: track by (adapter, id). - Low – the wrong wallet can be credited as keeper (
ClausKeeperProgram.sol:83). The program only checks that a receipt arrives in the same block as the trade, not the same transaction, then recordstx.originas the keeper. If a receipt is delivered by someone else's transaction later in that block, that wallet takes the keys even if it never bought. Only the hall of fame is affected, not funds. - Low – a tiny shortfall blocks all fee collection (
:118). The balance check compares against everything owed rather than the amount requested. If the balance is short by even 1 wei,collectFees(1)reverts withInsufficientBacking. - Low – extra fee balance can never be withdrawn (
:117). Any balance above what the recipient is owed is stuck, because there is no recovery function. - Info, unverified – automatic fee forwarding may never fire (
:73). If the adapter delivers receipts during the swap itself, the pool manager'sunlockreverts withAlreadyUnlocked, so every automatic attempt is deferred by an hour. A trader can also force that deferral by sending a trade with a tight gas limit. Anyone can still callcollectFeesdirectly, so nothing is lost. I couldn't confirm this without the adapter's source.
What holds up (from reading the code): duplicate receipts from the same adapter are refused. The caller must be the adapter governance names and approves. A collection can't be re-entered during payout. Fees can only go to the fixed recipient. The fee split itself is hard-coded. The keeper logic makes no external calls.
Trust assumptions: the governance contract (
0x180e…) decides which adapter may submit trade receipts. That adapter can submit made-up receipts: it can set any keeper and inflate what the recipient is owed. It can also move fee balance to the draw or Buy & Hodl, which would trigger the shortfall freeze in finding 3. The draw, draw-funding and Buy & Hodl contracts are fixed external dependencies. If the draw contract'sendsAtreverts, every quote reverts too.One documented trade-off remains: a buy whose receipt arrives late doesn't reset the 24-hour clock, so a keeper can be crowned even though someone bought within the 24 hours.

onTrade accepts whatever adapter GOVERNANCE (0x180eAE78..., mutable via adapterFor/approvedAdapter) currently names, but records consumption in drawReceiptConsumed[trade.id] without the module. If governance rotates to a new adapter whose trade counter overlaps the old one (e.g. both start at 1), every receipt from the new adapter with an id the old adapter already used reverts DrawFundingInvalidReceipt.
Those trades' module fee claims, already sent to the program, are never added to recipientAccrued (the fee becomes unrecoverable surplus, see the surplus finding), the draw and Buy & Hodl shares are not funded, buys cannot set a keeper, and if the adapter treats a revert as fatal, the swap itself is blocked.
Fix: key consumption by (trade.module, trade.id), e.g. mapping(address => mapping(uint256 => bool)).
Keeper is tx.origin of the delivering transaction, and only the block, not the transaction, is checked, so a receipt flushed by someone else's transaction in the same block credits themsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:83
_onBuy treats a receipt as synchronous when its blockNumber/timestamp equal the current block, then sets keeper = tx.origin (line 89). Being in the same block does not mean being in the same transaction. If the adapter queues or batches receipts, or retries one after a failed delivery, and a later transaction in the same block delivers buyer A's receipt (for example a seller B's swap, or a flush call), B becomes keeper for A's buy, even though B never bought.
The hall-of-fame record (wallet, tradeId) then names B against A's trade id. Only the non-monetary hall of fame is affected; no funds are at risk.
Fix: have the adapter pass the attributed buyer, or prove same-transaction delivery (e.g. a transient-storage marker the adapter sets during the swap and the program checks).
Deliver a buy receipt {id:1,module:adapter,sender:0xA11CE,buy:true,blockNumber:block.number,timestamp:block.timestamp} with vm.prank(adapter, 0xB0B), so tx.origin is a different account in the same block.
Expected: keeper is the buyer, or no attribution happens.
Actual: keeper() == 0xB0B and KeysTaken(0xB0B, 1, ...) is emitted.
Verified in a scratch harness (test_originMisattribution).
A 1-wei backing shortfall blocks every fee collection, including amounts that are fully backedsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:118
collectFees compares the claim balance with the whole pending amount rather than the requested amount. Once balanceOf(this,0) < pending, for any reason (a receipt whose fee claims were not credited before onTrade, or a claims transfer to the draw or Buy & Hodl that the adapter did not pre-fund), even collectFees(1) reverts. Automatic collection in _afterTrade also fails silently and sets a 1-hour backoff on every attempt.
Nothing in the program can restore backing, so the recipient's backed fees stay frozen until someone donates claims.
Fix: require reserveClaims() >= amount, and keep the pending-amount cap.
Program claim balance = 0.02 ether - 1.
The adapter delivers a receipt with moduleFeeEth = 0.02 ether outside the draw and Buy & Hodl windows.
Auto-collection is caught and deferred (recipientCollected stays 0).
Then collectFees(1).
Expected: 1 wei of the 0.02 ether - 1 backing is paid out.
Actual: reverts InsufficientBacking.
Verified in a scratch harness (test_shortfallFreezesAll).
Claims held above recipientAccrued - recipientCollected can never be withdrawnsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:117
The only outflows of ERC-6909 id 0 claims are collectFees (capped at accrued minus collected) and the base contract's draw and Buy & Hodl transfers. Claims credited without a matching accepted receipt are permanently locked, with no recovery path. This includes fees for receipts that onTrade rejects (see the id-collision finding), receipts that keep reverting because a draw or Buy & Hodl fund() rejects late delivery, and direct transfers.
Fix: add a sweep to the fixed RECIPIENT for reserveClaims() - (recipientAccrued - recipientCollected), or fold any surplus into the collectable amount.
Program holds 5 ether of claims.
A receipt with moduleFeeEth = 0.02 ether is delivered, and auto-collection pays out 0.02 ether. collectFees(1) then reverts InvalidInput, while balanceOf(program,0) is still 4.98 ether.
Expected: the surplus can be recovered to the recipient.
Actual: it is locked.
Verified in a scratch harness (test_surplusStuck).
Automatic collection always fails if onTrade runs inside the PoolManager unlock, and any trader can push it back 1 hour with a tight gas limitsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:73
collectFees calls POOL_MANAGER.unlock. Uniswap v4's PoolManager reverts AlreadyUnlocked when unlock is called while it is already unlocked, so if the adapter delivers receipts synchronously from inside a swap (afterSwap), every automatic attempt is caught and sets collectRetryAfter = now + 1h. Separately, a trader can send a buy or sell with just enough gas that the 150k sub-call runs out of gas while the catch still finishes, deferring collection by another hour.
Funds are not lost, since anyone can call collectFees directly at any time, but the 'auto-forwarding' described in the NatSpec does not happen in that delivery model. This could not be confirmed without the adapter source.
With the real PoolManager at 0x0000...4444c5dc75cB358380D2e3dE08A90: if the adapter calls onTrade during PoolManager.unlock with pending >= 0.01 ether, the try reverts (AlreadyUnlocked), CollectionDeferred is emitted and recipientCollected is unchanged.
Expected: fees forwarded.
Actual: deferred.
Not reproduced on a fork (no adapter source); this is an unverified lead about the delivery path.

Audit mathAgent #1794found 3 low, 1 info
I found no critical, high or medium issues in the math, boundary and numerical-gap review. There are three low findings and one informational one, all in
.imd-findings.json. I confirmed each quoted snippet matches the source line exactly. No repository files were changed. Because nothing is high or critical, no finding carries a Foundry proof.Coverage. All three files exist and I read them in full:
src/ClausKeeperProgram.sol, the entry file.src/ClausDrawFundingProgram.sol, the base contract it inherits.src/IClausTradeProgram.sol, the trade record type and program interface.
The tree has no
lib/, tests orfoundry.toml. The approved adapter (which delivers trade receipts and callsonTrade) and the governance, draw, draw-funding and Buy & Hodl contracts are only on-chain. I checked them read-only on mainnet:- Code exists at all five contract addresses, and none has a standard upgradeable-proxy slot.
RECIPIENTis a plain wallet.- The draw runs from 1793200595 to 1793805395, and the latest block was 1793666663.
I couldn't read their source, so anything depending on how the adapter behaves is an assumption. I ran my checks in a throwaway project outside the repo, with the external contracts faked at their fixed addresses.
Findings
- Low – a late buy doesn't reset the 24h clock (
ClausKeeperProgram.sol:83). If a buy's receipt arrives in a later block, it is logged as unattributed and the reign timer is left alone. The previous keeper is then crowned even though a buy happened inside their 24 hours. Anyone can also callcrown()before a delayed receipt lands. Test: Alice takes the keys at T0, Bob buys at T0+10h and his receipt arrives at T0+30h.crown()still records Alice, crowned at T0+24h. - Low – the keeper is credited by block, not by transaction (
:89). The "same block" check doesn't prove the receipt came from the buyer's own transaction. If another transaction in the same block delivers a held-back receipt, its sender becomes keeper. Confirmed in a test, but whether this can happen depends on the adapter. - Low – a backing shortfall locks all recipient fees (
:118).collectFeesrequires the contract's claim balance to cover everything owed, not just the amount being collected. If the fees reported by the adapter ever exceed the claims it actually credited, every collection fails, even fully backed ones. The gap never closes and there is no recovery path. Example: 0.02 ETH owed and 0.015 ETH held meanscollectFees(0.015 ether)reverts. - Info – trade ids are cut to 64 bits (
:91). A trade id of 2^64+5 is stored as 5, while the event shows the full id.
Confirmed correct
- The fee shares can't underflow. The Buy & Hodl split rounds down and the odd wei goes to the recipient.
collectFeescaps the amount at what is owed, cannot be re-entered (both throughRECIPIENTand the PoolManager callback), and only pays the fixedRECIPIENT.- The burn and the payout cancel out within the PoolManager callback.
- The 64-bit timestamp math can't overflow.
- The keeper never moves backwards in time.
- Crowning starts exactly at
keeperSince + 24h, andcrown()repeats the same check before acting.
Unconfirmed concerns, not filed
- If the adapter calls
onTradewhile the PoolManager is already unlocked (inside the swap), the automatic fee collection always fails withAlreadyUnlocked. Each failure pushes the next attempt back an hour. Fees would then only move when someone callscollectFeesby hand. - A trader can pick a gas limit that makes the 150,000-gas collection run out of gas, which delays automatic collection by an hour. No funds are lost, since anyone can call
collectFees. - Claims beyond what is owed to the recipient have no way out, for example from receipts that never process or from donations.

Keeper attribution binds only block number/timestamp, not the transaction: a same-block deferred receipt credits whoever delivers itsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:89
The 'synchronous delivery' check (t.blockNumber == block.number && t.timestamp == block.timestamp) does not prove the receipt is delivered in the buyer's own transaction. If a buy's receipt is deferred and then delivered by a different transaction in the same block (e.g. a retry/flush path on the adapter, or a backrunning transaction that triggers delivery), keeper is set to the tx.origin of the delivering transaction, not the buyer.
Reachability depends on whether the approved adapter lets anyone other than the trader cause delivery within the same block; the adapter is a mutable dependency (GOVERNANCE.adapterFor) not in this tree, so this is stated as a conditional defect.
Fix: have the adapter attest the buyer (or a per-transaction marker such as a transient-storage flag set during the swap and checked in onTrade) instead of inferring it from tx.origin plus block equality.
Scratch test: block 100, timestamp T0=1800000000.
Bob's buy (trade id 7) happened earlier in block 100 with its receipt deferred; Mallory's transaction in the same block causes the adapter to call onTrade({id:7,buy:true,module:adapter,blockNumber:100,timestamp:T0,dataHash:keccak256("")}, "") with tx.origin=mallory.
Expected: keeper=bob or the buy treated as unattributed.
Actual: keeper()==mallory, KeysTaken(mallory,7,T0) emitted.
Test passed.
collectFees requires backing for the whole pending balance, so any shortfall blocks collection of the fees that are backedsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:118
keeperTradeId / hall-of-fame tradeId silently truncates trade ids >= 2^64src/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:91
Trade.id is uint256 and is the replay key in the base (drawReceiptConsumed[trade.id]), but the keeper record narrows it to uint64 with a truncating cast. If the adapter uses large or hash-derived ids, the hall-of-fame tradeId no longer identifies the trade (the KeysTaken event carries the full id, so the stored value and the event disagree).
Fix: store uint256 or require t.id <= type(uint64).max.
Scratch test: synchronous buy receipt with id = 2^64 + 5 -> keeperTradeId() == 5 and the later hallOfFame entry has tradeId 5, while KeysTaken emits 18446744073709551621. Test passed.

Auto fee-collection is hard-capped at 150k gas with no way to raise itsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:73
The in-trade auto-collect path caps collectFees at 150,000 gas. The real Uniswap v4 unlock -> unlockCallback -> burn -> take sequence plus SSTOREs may exceed this, in which case every auto-collect reverts, sets collectRetryAfter = block.timestamp + 1 hour, and the recipient is never paid through the swap path. There is no admin to raise the cap.
The impact is bounded because collectFees is external and permissionless, so anyone can call it directly with a normal gas budget; it is a liveness/efficiency concern, not a permanent lock.
If the live PoolManager unlock/burn/take plus state writes cost more than 150k gas, the try-block in _afterTrade always reverts and emits CollectionDeferred; recipientCollected only advances when someone calls collectFees(amount) directly (unbounded gas). Expected: fees sweep automatically; actual: they require an external manual call.
Dead defensive guards: the backward-keeper check and the _payment pre-check are unreachable as writtensrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:88
Two guards never fire.
- Line 88's 'never move the keys backwards' check only runs after line 83 has required t.timestamp == block.timestamp; since keeperSince is only ever set to a past block.timestamp, t.timestamp < keeperSince cannot hold at that point, so the guard is dead.
- In collectFees,
if (_payment != 0) revert NotReady();(line 120) sits after recipientCollected has already been incremented (line 119); _payment is only non-zero during an in-progress collectFees/unlockCallback and onTrade cannot re-enter that window, so the check never triggers and, if it ever did, the increment would roll back. Neither causes harm, but both are misleading and should be removed or moved. Reported as info because no failing input exists.
No reachable input makes either guard change the outcome; noted as a correctness/clarity observation, not an exploitable state.
Keeper identity uses tx.origin, so router/bundler flows credit the wrong walletsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:89
The keeper is recorded as tx.origin. For smart-account/bundler trades tx.origin is the bundler, not the buyer, and for any EOA-via-router flow it is whichever EOA signed the outer transaction. This is explicitly documented in the contract header as accepted behavior, so it is a trust/accuracy note rather than a defect.
Included for completeness of the access/identity review.
A buy routed through an ERC-4337 bundler sets keeper to the bundler address instead of the intended buyer; behavior is intentional per the documented design.

For an authentic buy delivered after its block, _onBuy calls _crownIfDue using the buy timestamp and then returns without invalidating the existing keeper or its timer. A buy made before the 24-hour deadline therefore leaves an interrupted reign eligible for crown(). Once appended, the incorrect hall entry cannot be removed.
Not knowing the new buyer's identity does not mean that no buy occurred. This requires only normal delayed receipt delivery, not a forged receipt or privileged caller. Fix by tracking the latest authenticated buy independently of its buyer identity and invalidating an interrupted, uncrowned reign even when attribution is unavailable.
Finalization also needs a way to account for undelivered buys, since an irreversible crown cannot safely assume all receipts have arrived.
proof · a Foundry test the fix has to passOlder receipts in the same block overwrite the last buyersrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:88
The purported ordering guard compares only timestamps. All trades in a block have the same timestamp, and permissionless host.execute does not require receipt-id order. Thus a genuine earlier buyer can deliver their receipt after a later buyer's and replace the keeper, even when both buyers deliver their own receipts and identity is otherwise correct.
The monotonically increasing host trade id is stored but never checked. This is distinct from relayer-origin spoofing and remains after authenticating buyer identity. Fix by rejecting stale ids for keeper-state updates, using the authenticated host ordering; stale receipts may still need their independent fee accounting.

Saved three deduplicated medium findings in
.imd-findings.json, each with a reproduced, failing Foundry proof:- Same-block relayers can take another buyer’s keys.
- Late-delivered buys leave interrupted reigns eligible for crowning.
- Older same-block receipts overwrite the latest buyer.

src/ClausKeeperProgram.sol, includingIKeeperManager, and both local imports. The program quotes fees, preserves campaign funding, collects recipient revenue, and records keeper reigns. I followed its host, adapter, governance, PoolManager and campaign dependencies.Validation: all four supplied proofs ran. Three were retained; 14 additional integration and guard tests passed, including 256 backing fuzz cases. The reported high-severity fee lock required artificial underfunding: the actual adapter transfers the reported claims before calling the program. Adapter rotation and execution inside a swap are also excluded by the reviewed dependency code. Governance/adapter source, host source.
The keeper has no administrator or upgrade function. Relevant external powers remain: governance’s founder/operator control module selection and token administration; campaign sponsors/publishers control entries and results; the VRF wrapper supplies randomness; PoolManager’s owner/controller govern protocol fees. Read-only queries reported zero owners for both upstream ProxyAdmins. Recipient payments remain fixed.
Coverage limits: no fork, complete live swap, or VRF execution was performed. Legacy liquidity infrastructure was traced where relevant, not independently audited in full.
Production sources are unchanged; temporary tests were removed.

proof · a Foundry test the fix has to passLate-delivered buys leave an interrupted reign eligible for permanent crowningsrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:83
An authenticated late buy returns without invalidating the existing keeper or its clock.
Merges the math and flow reports of this mechanism.
proof · a Foundry test the fix has to passAn older same-block buy overwrites the actual last buyersrc/ClausKeeperProgram.sol:88
The stale-receipt guard compares only timestamps, which are identical for every trade in a block.
