      Now: The backdrop-dismiss handler closes the modal whenever the click target is the dialog itself, which also includes the dialog’s interior padding.

      Change to: Keep the target check and dismiss only when the click coordinates fall outside event.currentTarget.getBoundingClientRect(); clicks inside that rectangle should leave the modal open.

      Why: The dialog’s visible surface belongs to its interaction area. Only the backdrop, Close control, or Escape should dismiss it, so tapping inside does not interrupt sharing or reading.

      At 390 × 844 in Chromium 156 and WebKit 27.2: open Share tweet by @blknoiz06, obtain the dialog rectangle, and click 5 CSS px right and 5 CSS px down from its top-left corner.

      This point is inside the dialog’s 20 px padding, not on the backdrop or close button.

      In both engines the measured click was x=24, y=260.4375, and the dialog count fell from 1 to 0.

      Expected: the share dialog remains open after clicking inside its surface.
