The hamster-related prediction markets have disappeared and must be restored.

Requirements:

  • Bring back all the original hamster markets (number of Squeek blocks in 1h/6h/24h/7 days, longest runs, activity windows, etc.)
  • Keep the new markets about @pillheadddd (tweets, NFT mint, floor price)
  • Make sure both types of markets are visible and usable
  • Keep the new homepage improvements (Squeek Predict title, hamster image, credits)
  • Do not remove existing hamster functionality

Restore the hamster markets while keeping the rest of the improvements.

    • Met — Restore hamster markets: 11 cards cover 1h/6h/24h/7-day blocks, longest runs and activity windows. Shorter windows are disclosed as free calls. See catalog.
    • Met — Keep @pillheadddd markets: tweet, NFT mint and floor-price previews remain. See previews.
    • Missing — Both types fully usable: record fallback invents a historical value, and answer ranges overlap.
    • Met — Keep homepage improvements: title, hamster image and credits remain in App.tsx.
    • Met — Preserve hamster functionality: betting, creation, claims, resolution and stats remain available in the existing flows.

Squeek Predict is a prediction board anchored visually by its hamster on a neon wheel.

Saved .imd-findings.json with 1 high fidelity finding and 2 medium bugs: phone answers below the fold, invented record fallback, and overlapping ranges.

Twenty unit tests and hamster-flow fixtures passed in Chromium and WebKit. Live reads passed in Chromium. Website files are unchanged.

    • highfidelity: the first phone screen hides every hamster answer controlweb/src/styles.css:370

Now: At 390×844 the hero occupies 420px, its two actions wrap into separate rows, and the first hamster answer buttons start below the viewport. Visitors see introductory chrome and only the top of a market.

Change to: In the existing max-width:760px rule, keep the hero actions on one row using font-size:var(--t-small), padding-inline:12px and min-width:0 on .hero-actions > *. Remove the redundant Hamster markets explanatory paragraph (each card already states Free call/no ETH or On-chain/test ETH), closing its space so the first card and its answer buttons move up. Keep the title, image and credits.

Why: The review requires the product and its primary interaction on the first 390px screen; the requested restored markets should be immediately usable.

Chromium, 390×844 CSS px, fresh storage, production dist served at /.

Load the homepage with successful Sepolia reads and do not scroll.

Measure .hero and the first .hamster-card .call-options with getBoundingClientRect(): hero y=73, height=420.0625; first card y=760.546875; answer group y=884.84375, height=44, bottom=928.84375, entirely below the 844px screen.

The two hero actions occupy y=266.0625 and y=322.0625.

At 320×844, the first answer group starts at y=956.140625.

Expected: at least one complete hamster market question and answer control visible at 390×844.

A temporary browser stylesheet applying the proposed mobile control values and removing that paragraph places the first answer row at y=781.15625 with bottom=825.15625; no repository file was changed.

    • mediumbug: the record market invents a best-day count when history failsweb/src/HamsterMarkets.tsx:155

Now: When the Core state read succeeds but roundPage history fails, dailyAverage falls back to the since-launch average and is treated as proof that all stats are known. The record card labels Math.round(avg * 1.5) as this week’s best day and passes that invented number into market creation.

Change to: Require best24 !== undefined for a record preset independently of dailyAverage. While best24 is unknown, show “Record attempt: weekly best unavailable” with “Retry wheel stats” and disable that preset’s Open this market action. Populate the record line only from the successfully read best24; keep other market types usable.

Why: Restoring usable hamster markets must preserve truthful SqueekCore-based questions. A computed guess cannot be presented as an observed weekly record or used silently as its wager threshold.

      390×844 CSS px, fresh browser.

Let real Sepolia snapshot requests succeed; intercept only eth_call requests with roundPage selector 0xc8b9e08f (including JSON-RPC batches) and return JSON-RPC error -32000, “History temporarily unavailable”.

      Wait for Retry wheel stats.

The record card still reads “Record attempt: beat this week’s best day of 915 blocks”; Open this market opens the create dialog with threshold=915.

In the successful-history control run the actual best24 is 1,074 blocks.

The 915 varies with time because App.tsx:69 derives the launch average from the current timestamp, whereas the weekly record does not.

Expected: explicitly unknown record with no enabled record creation until historical data is available.

No wallet or signature is required to reproduce.

    • mediumbug: adjacent longest-run answers overlap at three and six hoursweb/src/hamster.ts:36

Now: The restored streak market offers “1 to 3 hours”, “3 to 6 hours” and “6 hours or more”, but settle() treats the upper bounds as exclusive. An exactly three-hour run makes the displayed “1 to 3 hours” prediction lose; exactly six hours makes “3 to 6 hours” lose. The retained NFT floor card has the same ambiguous range wording at 0.05 and 0.25 ETH (web/src/previews.ts:23).

Change to: Rename the streak options to “Under 1 hour”, “1 to under 3 hours”, “3 to under 6 hours”, “6 hours or more”, preserving their order and settlement logic. Likewise label the floor bins “Under 0.01 ETH”, “0.01 to under 0.05 ETH”, “0.05 to under 0.25 ETH”, “0.25 ETH or more”. Let labels wrap in the existing controls.

Why: Both restored hamster calls and retained founder/NFT calls must be usable; each exact outcome needs one clearly described answer, especially where the app judges a saved call as Right or Missed.

390×844 CSS px: load the site, select Longest runs and inspect the four buttons on Longest block streak tomorrow.

Both “1 to 3 hours” and “3 to 6 hours” include 3 hours by their displayed wording.

      Deterministic data reproduction: import web/src/hamster.ts; use rounds=Array.from({length:145},(_,i)=>i) and heights=new Map(rounds.map(r=>[r,Math.min(r,18)])). settle("streak",rounds,heights) returns {winner:2,detail:"3h 0m streak"}, marking option 1 (“1 to 3 hours”) wrong.

      Repeat with Math.min(r,36): winner=3 and detail="6h 0m streak", so option 2 (“3 to 6 hours”) loses.

Expected: non-overlapping button labels that explicitly exclude the next bucket’s lower bound.

The Founder & NFT filter also shows the overlapping floor-price labels without needing a wallet or reported NFT result.

  4. Build websiteAgent #46027 files changed

I reproduced all three reported problems against the committed site before changing anything, and fixed each one. The site is rebuilt and every check passes.

    1. Phones didn't show any hamster market answers on the first screen (high). At 390×844 the two hero buttons sat on two rows, which pushed the first market's answer buttons off the screen.

    • On phones, "Bet on a market" and "Create market" now share one row with smaller labels (web/src/styles.css). At 380px and narrower their small icons are hidden so the labels still fit at 320px.
    • I removed the extra explanatory line under "Hamster markets", since each card already says whether it is free or uses test ETH.
    • The title, hamster image and credits are unchanged.
    • At 390×844, "Squeek blocks in the next hour" and its Over/Under buttons are now on the first screen. With mock data the buttons end at about 782px down; with live Sepolia data, about 824. I checked both screenshots.
    • At 320px wide the answer buttons still start just below the fold, at 848px.

    2. The record market made up a "best day" when history failed to load. It showed 1.5× the daily average (654 blocks in my test, where the real best was 432) and used that guess as the market's line.

    • The record card now uses only the best day actually read from SqueekCore.
    • Until that loads it reads "Record attempt: weekly best unavailable" and its "Open this market" button is disabled. If the read failed, a "Retry wheel stats" button appears.
    • The other on-chain markets can still be opened.

    3. Range answers overlapped. For example, a run of exactly 3 hours fitted both "1 to 3 hours" and "3 to 6 hours", but only counted for the second. I changed only the wording, so the results are worked out exactly as before:

    • Longest run: "1 to under 3 hours" and "3 to under 6 hours".
    • NFT floor price: "0.01 to under 0.05 ETH" and "0.05 to under 0.25 ETH".

Calls people have already saved keep their meaning.

Checks (all on the final build):

    • Unit tests: 21/21 pass, including a new one for runs of exactly 1, 3 and 6 hours.
    • Typecheck and production build: both pass. The large JavaScript file warning that was already there remains.
    • Browser tests: 20/20 pass, including two new ones for the first phone screen and the unavailable record market. The accessibility scan at 390 found no problems.
    • Design probe: 16/16 pass at 320, 390 and 1440 wide, using live Sepolia data.

Not tested: Safari (it wouldn't start on this machine), real phones, screen readers, and real wallet transactions. No Solidity changed, so I didn't run the contract checks.

    Everything else:

    • .imd-responses.json: answers all three findings as fixed.
    • DESIGN.md: updated. It still described the old hero and had no entry for the hamster or founder/NFT markets.
    • README.md and artifacts/validation.md: record the commands and results.
    • Size: the export is about 1.07 MB and the evidence files 1.27 MB, within budget.

    I haven't committed anything.

    — Previous counts were not supplied.

    • Met: “Bring back all the original hamster markets” — 11 templates cover 1h/6h/24h/7-day counts, longest runs and activity windows in hamster.ts.
    • Met: “Keep the new markets about @pillheadddd” — tweet windows, NFT mint and floor-price previews remain in previews.ts.
    • Met: “Make sure both types of markets are visible and usable” — categories, answer selection, persistence and market dialogs work through App.tsx.
    • Met: “Keep the new homepage improvements” — Squeek Predict title, loaded hamster image and exact credits remain in that file.
    • Met: “Do not remove existing hamster functionality” — stats, saved-call settlement and simulated create/bet/claim flows pass the browser suite.

All three prior findings are fixed. At 390×844, the first answer controls end at y=825. Failed history reads disable record creation; retry restores the observed 1,074-block threshold. Streak and floor-price labels now have unambiguous boundaries.

Squeek Predict is a hamster prediction board anchored by its neon wheel and amber controls.

Validation: 21/21 unit tests, 20/20 Chromium checks and 4/4 targeted WebKit checks. WebKit used mocked RPC; live Sepolia reads were verified in Chromium.

.imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. No application files changed.
