Keep the current cozy pixel design, all tabs and features unchanged. Add a new "How to play" tab (also reachable at /#docs) with clear, friendly, beginner-level docs. Every number and rule must be verified against the deployed contracts' source and constants (game 0xe33ab493249a2df0d8c4a71ac54f46d1f7778367, vault 0x1dceb78b36b5f18ac4a130f1ffc76eba0e73d183, HAMSTER token 0x8e7c7936b4f2d4475dc4bacd174dc228d4d24e86, hook 0x82f636a92364d13754d7b3e72d460f0be20a28cc). Do not invent anything; if a rule cannot be confirmed from code, leave it out.

STRUCTURE (short sections, each with a pixel icon, max 3-4 sentences or bullets each)

  1. What is Hamster Hour One paragraph: a real hamster runs on a wheel, Squeekchain records every pass onchain, each hour is a market, you bet IMD on how far it runs. No house, no owner, settled by the IMD oracle.

  2. How an hour works Explain the 1-hour windows (start time in UTC, from the contract's genesis and window length), when betting opens and closes for a window (from the contract), when the result is known and when settlement happens. Add a small visual timeline: open → running → result → settled.

Mention that the hamster is usually active at night UTC (roughly 21:00-06:00) and often sleeps during the day, so daytime hours tend to have low distances.

  1. Markets (one card each, with a simple example)
  • OVER / UNDER: the line (read the current line from the contract), what over and under mean, minimum bet.
  • SNOOZE: what threshold counts as snooze (from the contract constant) and what you win.
  • EXACT ticket: ticket price, how close the guess must be (tolerance from the contract), how the jackpot is split among winners, what share carries over if nobody wins, and that the jar keeps growing.
  1. Payouts and fees Pari-mutuel explained simply: winners split the losing side. Show the exact fee split for binary markets and for EXACT tickets as two small tables (stakers, jackpot, oracle, team, winners), taken from the contract constants. Add one worked example in IMD (e.g. 10 IMD on OVER vs 5 IMD on UNDER, OVER wins → what each side gets).

  2. Refunds (important, highlight this box)

  • If nobody takes the other side of a market in that hour, the market is voided and everyone gets their stake back.
  • If the oracle does not settle a window in time, the window times out and bets are refunded.
  • Explain how to claim winnings and refunds on the site (the actual buttons/flow) and that unclaimed funds stay in the contract for the player.
  1. Lose-to-earn: mining $HAMSTER Explain that lost IMD mines HAMSTER: rate per IMD lost and the halving schedule, from the vault's mining constants. Show a small table of the first few halving steps. Explain how and when the mined HAMSTER is claimed.

  2. Staking $HAMSTER What stakers earn (IMD from token trading fees and the stakers' share of every bet), warm-up period, unstake delay, how rewards are claimed. All values from the vault contract.

  3. Leaderboard and rewards Only settled, two-sided bets count toward volume; refunded bets and pending hours do not; team wallet is not ranked. Link to the Leaderboard tab. Keep reward text configurable in one constant (default: "Top 5 by volume get a WL for the @squeekchain NFT mint").

  4. For AI agents How agents can play (the existing skill: npx skills add https://hamsterhour.fun).

  5. Contracts and safety List all contract addresses with Etherscan links and copy buttons. State plainly: no owner can withdraw player funds; settlement by the IMD oracle with data from Squeekchain; contracts were built, audited and deployed by the IMD swarm. Short risk note: betting can lose money, play only what you can afford.

  6. FAQ (accordion, 6-8 questions) E.g. "Why was my bet refunded?", "Why is my bet still pending?", "When can I claim?", "Why does the hamster run so little during the day?", "Do I need HAMSTER to play?", "What happens if nobody guesses the EXACT number?", "Is there a house edge?", "How do I get IMD?"

UX

  • Sticky mini table of contents on desktop, collapsible on mobile.
  • Plain English, short sentences, no jargon without a one-line explanation.
  • Add a "How to play" link in the header and a small "New here? Read how it works" link near the bet panel.
  • Live values (current line, jackpot size, current window times) should be read from the contract and update automatically.

Do not change any contract, address, fee or betting logic.

Implemented /#docs with verified rules, live values, FAQ, copy buttons and navigation links. Existing design and betting logic are preserved.

Build, typecheck, 54 tests and 32 browser scenarios passed. Static export is ready; changes total 3.05 MiB.

Validation report includes review evidence and limitations. WebKit could not launch because system libraries are missing.

Saved two findings in .imd-findings.json. Site files remain unchanged.

    • Medium — bug: My bets help incorrectly says HAMSTER is unavailable. At 390×844, open /#my-bets and expand “About My bets.” The popup says “there is no HAMSTER reward token available yet,” contradicting the deployed token, vault, and new guide. Replace that sentence with instructions pointing to $HAMSTER → Mine. Source: MyBets.tsx:72.
    • Low — fidelity: two sections exceed the four-sentence limit. At 390×844, “Contracts and safety” contains five prose sentences; “Mining $HAMSTER” also reaches five after its live rate loads. Combine the risk sentences and combine the mining status with its schedule note. Exact measurements and replacement copy are recorded in the findings file. Source: Docs.tsx:687.

Chromium and WebKit passed the wallet prompt, contents navigation, section links, FAQ, and responsive checks. Six Chromium accessibility audits passed across both themes. Forced RPC failure and recovery behaved correctly; clipboard actions worked. Wallet signing was not exercised.

Contract getters matched the guide at Ethereum block 26,307,261, alongside review of the v2 game source and vault source. The probe’s remaining flags concern preserved navigation/button styling, required uppercase names, and repeated onchain activity.

The site’s visual idea is a small, cozy pixel habitat that makes a real hamster’s hourly betting markets approachable.

Requirement coverage follows. Chapter IDs refer to elements rendered by Docs.tsx.

    • mediumbug: My bets help incorrectly says the HAMSTER reward token is unavailableweb/src/MyBets.tsx:72

Now: The My bets help popup ends with “there is no HAMSTER reward token available yet,” contradicting the new mining guide and the functioning $HAMSTER tab.

Change to: Replace the final sentence with “Eligible net binary losses are recorded by lossOf; mine them from $HAMSTER → Mine after the hour is finalized.”

Why: Beginner guidance must agree across the claim flow. The requested token and vault are deployed, and the guide explicitly teaches players how to claim mined HAMSTER.

At 390×844 in Chromium, open /#docs-mining and read the mining/Claim all instructions.

Follow My bets (or navigate to /#my-bets), then click the ? control labelled “About My bets”.

The visible 280.8×223px popup contains “there is no HAMSTER reward token available yet.” Expected: the help acknowledges eligible HAMSTER mining and points to the existing Mine controls.

Independent Ethereum reads at block 26307261 return symbol() = HAMSTER from 0x8e7c7936b4f2d4475dc4bacd174dc228d4d24e86 and vault.token() = that same address; currentMiningState() returns a 20,000 HAMSTER/IMD initial rate.

The contradiction is visible without connecting or signing.

    • lowfidelity: two guide sections exceed the requested four-sentence limitweb/src/Docs.tsx:687

Now: Contracts and safety has five prose sentences, excluding its address list; Mining $HAMSTER also has five once the current vault rate loads.

Change to: Combine the risk note into “Betting can lose money; play only what you can afford to lose.” Combine the mining status and schedule note into one sentence, for example “Current vault rate: [live rate] HAMSTER per eligible IMD lost (halving [live step]); the table shows the base schedule, which unused boost reserves can extend.” Apply equivalent punctuation to the read-error status.

Why: The brief explicitly caps each short section at 3–4 sentences or bullets. Both sections can meet that limit while preserving every rule and live value.

At 390×844 in Chromium, open /#docs-safety.

Read the three direct paragraphs in section[aria-labelledby="docs-safety"], excluding contract addresses: they contain 2 + 1 + 2 = 5 sentences.

      Measure with [...document.querySelectorAll('section[aria-labelledby="docs-safety"] > p')].map(p => p.textContent.match(/[^.!?]+[.!?]/g).length), which returns [2,1,2].

Then open /#docs-mining and wait for “Current vault rate:” including the colon.

Its introduction, two explanatory bullets and status paragraph contain 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 5 sentences; the last paragraph reads “Current vault rate: 20,000 HAMSTER per eligible IMD lost (halving 0).

The table is the base schedule; the vault can extend future emissions with unused boost reserves.” Expected: no more than four sentences or explanatory bullets per section.

The same copy is rendered at 1440px.
