Audit the SvoStaking contract system in this repository (Solidity 0.8.26, Foundry). Primary target: src/SvoStaking.sol. Also in scope: script/DeployStaking.s.sol (run() deploys; fund() is a separate step; the chain, SVO, IMD and the funder Safe are pinned as constants). This is the FINAL audit round: verify the fixes from the previous swarm audit and look for anything those changes introduced. Read for context: src/SovrnToken.sol (the staked SVO token), src/Interfaces.sol (reentrancy Guard), STAKING.md (design notes, trust assumptions, prior audit notes), test/SvoStaking.t.sol, test/DeployStaking.t.sol. Out of scope: src/LifeForceVault.sol, src/SovrnHook.sol and the launch contracts (separately audited). Build/test: forge build && forge test --match-contract "SvoStaking|DeployStaking". Optional fork test: FORK_4663_RPC=https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com forge test --match-contract StakingForkTest. Write nothing to the repository; deliver report.md with a machine-readable JSON appendix. Tone: factual; no claims of safety beyond the evidence; no investment language.

DEPLOYMENT CONTEXT. Robinhood Chain, id 4663. SVO = 0x7f7e9b8e9f754c3076e514852552019cb571461b (plain 18-decimal ERC-20, fixed 1B supply, no hooks). Reward token IMD = 0x5F7Bb59365ce557C26dbcAa4EE9d39A4b95B7127 (an ERC-20 with its own single-key owner, blocklist, transfer gate and LayerZero bridge: treat as untrusted). The funder is a Safe v1.5.0 at 0x589A639529220f66a2661A41753e3fd432f48DA0 on 4663 (2-of-3, no modules, no guard). It holds the 100,000,000 SVO founder allocation, will be the immutable funder, will call approve + fund() as a batch and, after 365 days, may call reclaim(). The IMD rewards come from a different Safe (the immutable LifeForceVault's refuel Safe 0xEb57c52272B90F989C41B739e2ccc5f00bF7697C, 2-of-3).

WHAT IT DOES. Stakers stake SVO and earn IMD. IMD is not minted: the refuel Safe sends Solomon's surplus IMD here and anyone calls notify(), which streams all IMD not yet accounted over 7 days, per second, pro rata by stake (Synthetix StakingRewards style). While a stream is running notify() accepts new IMD only if it is at least a tenth of what remains (otherwise it reverts and the IMD waits). Emission while nothing is staked rolls into the next stream. The funder deposits SVO once via fund() as a burn-match pool: matchBurn() is permissionless and burns the same amount again for SVO burned elsewhere (read from the token's totalBurned), limited to a linear 365-day vest, with unmatched burns carried forward. fund() accepts only MIN_FUND (1,000,000 SVO) up to a tenth of the supply, and notify() rejects a stream above MAX_STREAM (1e40 wei). After 365 days the funder may reclaim() the unmatched remainder once (waiting burns are matched first), which closes the pool. unstake() moves only SVO, so a misbehaving IMD can block claim() but never principal. hasAccess(addr) = at least 1,000,000 SVO staked for at least 1 day (a top-up resets the age); an off-chain app uses it to grant 30-minute voice sessions instead of 10. No owner, no pause, no upgradeability; the funder is fixed at deploy.

AUDIT SCOPE. (1) SECURITY: reward accounting (rewardsReserved vs the real balance, rounding and dust, undistributed/leftover double counting, lastUpdate before the first stream and after periodFinish, first/last-staker and zero-staker cases); theft, lock-up or griefing of staked SVO or earned IMD, including third-party donations and notify() timing, sandwiching and the tenth-of-remaining restart rule; burnSnapshot arithmetic (underflow, own-burn handling, forced over-matching, front-running reclaim, vesting boundaries); reentrancy and hostile reward-token behaviour (callbacks, fee-on-transfer, false-returning, blocklisting, destroyed contract, rebasing), confirming staked SVO can never be blocked by IMD; access-tier gaming; funder-only functions including a Safe as funder; any path that moves SVO or IMD other than unstake, claim, matchBurn and reclaim; the deploy script (guards, funder handling, anything that could fund the wrong contract or amount). (2) COMPLIANCE: do code, comments and STAKING.md match behaviour; list every claim the code does not enforce; the launch README (out of scope) says SVO holders receive no payouts and this contract changes that for stakers (the app's stake page and STAKING.md now carry a disclosure: say if it is sufficient; observations, not legal advice); flag centralisation powers (funder reclaim, refuel Safe discretion, IMD owner powers). (3) CODE QUALITY: NatSpec and event accuracy, dead code, unchecked or low-level calls, test gaps.

STANDARDS. SWC Registry; Consensys Smart Contract Best Practices; OWASP Smart Contract Top 10; ERC-20 behaviour including non-standard tokens (compare OpenZeppelin SafeERC20); Synthetix StakingRewards as the reference design (list each deviation and judge it).

FIXED SINCE THE PREVIOUS SWARM AUDIT (job 27aae9c4-e0db-4a83-b551-903d307b3205, commit 6a980ca: no critical, high or medium findings; 3 low, 7 info). Please verify each fix and try to break it, and review the new code for regressions: (1) notify() now rejects total > MAX_STREAM so a reward token reporting an absurd balance cannot overflow the reward math and lock unstake (previous finding 1). (2) fund() now requires MIN_FUND <= amount <= totalSupply/10 so a wrong-unit amount cannot spend the one-time deposit on dust (previous findings 3 and 9). (3) DeployStaking pins CHAIN_ID 4663, SVO, IMD and FOUNDER_SAFE as constants; STAKING_FUNDER must equal FOUNDER_SAFE unless ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true; fund() checks the chain, that the staking contract's token is SVO and its reward token is IMD, and refuses FUND_AMOUNT below MIN_FUND (previous findings 2 and 3). (4) NatSpec now says reclaim() withdraws and notify() restarts; RewardAdded.streamed now reports rate * REWARD_PERIOD; Staked/Unstaked use accountTotal (previous findings 5 to 8). (5) STAKING.md documents the restart cost wording, the funding bounds and the trust assumptions (previous findings 4, 9, 10). Earlier fixes still in place: notify() needs new IMD of at least a tenth of what is left to restart a running stream; claim() reverts if the reward token has no code; reclaim() has AlreadyReclaimed; the constructor rejects rewardToken == token.

KNOWN AND ACCEPTED (do not report as new, but dispute them if you disagree). A burn made just before reclaim() forces the pool to match it, at a cost to the burner equal to the matched amount. With nobody else staked, a staker of any size earns the whole stream. Rewards assume an 18-decimal IMD (per-update rounding is at most totalStaked/1e18 wei and accumulates across updates). The same SVO can rotate across accounts to rent the access tier, about one new account per day. SVO or IMD sent by plain transfer (not stake, fund or notify) is stranded. Small notify() deposits during a running stream wait until the stream ends or the threshold is met. A mid-stream restart is paid for by whoever's IMD is waiting (the threshold is on the whole unaccounted balance) and can be triggered by anyone once it is met; it only delays rewards, nothing is lost. The refuel Safe is trusted to send the surplus, and IMD's single-key owner can blocklist and freeze claims (principal is unaffected).

REPORT FORMAT. Summary with overall risk rating and counts by severity; findings table (ID, severity, category, file:line, title) most severe first; per finding a concrete exploit or failing Foundry test, impact, fix and confidence; what was checked and found fine; assumptions; JSON appendix [{id, severity, category, file, line, title, status}]. No generic advice.

1 low7 info

  • 1.lowDeployStaking.fund() accepts any FUND_AMOUNT inside the contract bounds without an explicit override, so an in-bounds typo fixes the one-time burn-match pool at the wrong sizescript/DeployStaking.s.sol:60

            uint256 amount = vm.envOr("FUND_AMOUNT", DEFAULT_FUND);

    The swarm-audit fix pinned the chain, SVO, IMD and the funder, and made fund() refuse amounts below MIN_FUND, but the amount itself is still free: any FUND_AMOUNT between MIN_FUND (1e24) and totalSupply/10 (1e26) passes the script's only amount check at line 65 and the contract's bounds at src/SvoStaking.sol:165. fund() is one-time (matchStart != 0 reverts AlreadyFunded), so an amount that is wrong but in bounds, for example 1e25 (one zero short of the intended 100,000,000 SVO), permanently sizes the pool at a tenth of the founder allocation; the remaining SVO can never be added and stays as plain SVO with the funder.

    DEFAULT_FUND (line 33) exists but only fills in when the variable is unset; it does not pin the value the way FOUNDER_SAFE pins the funder. The NatSpec at lines 16-17 tells the operator to check matchTotal() afterwards, which is after the irreversible step. The production path (a Safe batch of approve + fund) bypasses the script and has only the contract bounds, so the Safe instructions carry the same residual risk.

    Merged from audit_flow.

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: require(amount == DEFAULT_FUND || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_AMOUNT", false), "FUND_AMOUNT is not 100,000,000 SVO") in the script, and in the Safe-batch NatSpec state the exact calldata fund(100000000000000000000000000) and that a Safe simulation should assert matchTotal() == 1e26 before signing. Pinning 1e26 in the contract itself would change the agreed design (the bounds were chosen deliberately) and is not proposed.

    test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeScriptTest.test_staleAllowOtherFunderAndTypoAmount (passes on the current code, demonstrating the behaviour): chain id 4663, stand-in SVO/IMD at the pinned addresses, STAKING_CONTRACT = a fresh SvoStaking with funder = DEFAULT_SENDER, FUND_AMOUNT=10000000000000000000000000 (1e25); script.fund() succeeds and s.matchTotal() == 1e25; a second fund() with FUND_AMOUNT=9e25 reverts 'already funded'.

    Contract level: JudgeTest.test_fundAcceptsTypoAmountAndCannotBeToppedUp: s.fund(1e25) succeeds, s.fund(9e25) reverts AlreadyFunded.

    Expected (by analogy with the funder pin): refusal of an amount other than 100,000,000 SVO unless explicitly overridden.

    Actual: accepted and irreversible.

  • 2.infoA stale ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true in the shell silently disables the pinned founder-Safe check in run(); the funder is immutablescript/DeployStaking.s.sol:44

            require(funder == FOUNDER_SAFE || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER", false), "funder is not the founder Safe");

    The founder-Safe pin has a boolean escape hatch read with vm.envOr, so it needs no value on the command line and survives from an earlier rehearsal in the same shell (test/DeployStaking.t.sol:60 sets exactly this). With it set, run() deploys SvoStaking with whatever STAKING_FUNDER says as the immutable funder that holds reclaim() of the 100M SVO pool.

    Impact is bounded: the mis-deployed contract is unfunded, the Safe's fund() would revert Unauthorized (msg.sender != funder), and the deployer can redeploy; the cost is a wasted deployment and an address that must not be published to the app. Merged from audit_permissions.

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: make the override name the address it permits, e.g. require(funder == FOUNDER_SAFE || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER", address(0)) == funder, ...), so a leftover value cannot apply to a different funder, and log a prominent warning when the override is used.

    test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeScriptTest.test_staleAllowOtherFunderAndTypoAmount: vm.setEnv("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER","true") and STAKING_FUNDER = DEFAULT_SENDER (an EOA); script.run() succeeds and s.funder() == DEFAULT_SENDER != FOUNDER_SAFE.

    Expected per the pin's stated intent (NatSpec lines 9-10: a wrong env var cannot point a deployment at another funder): refusal.

    Actual: deployed with the EOA as permanent funder. test/DeployStaking.t.sol:60-63 shows the same acceptance.

  • 3.infoNatSpec and STAKING.md say the stake-age reset stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier; the code permits exactly that patternsrc/SvoStaking.sol:28

    /// MIN_STAKE_AGE old. Adding to a stake restarts the age, which stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier.

    hasAccess(a) is staked[a] >= MIN_STAKE && block.timestamp >= stakedSince[a] + MIN_STAKE_AGE and unstake() has no delay or cooldown. Resetting stakedSince on every stake() only prevents pre-staging a dust stake and topping it up for instant access. A plain stake-wait-unstake cycle (stake 1,000,000 SVO, wait one day, use the tier, unstake the same second, move the SVO to another account and repeat) is allowed, and STAKING.md:69-71 itself accepts that rotation.

    The header comment at line 28 and STAKING.md:85 ('Adding to a stake restarts its age (stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier)') therefore describe a protection the code does not provide; they should describe the one it does. Compliance item (a claim the code does not enforce), no funds affected. Merged from audit_flow.

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: reword both to 'Adding to a stake restarts its age, so a pre-staged dust stake cannot be topped up for instant access; the tier can be held by any account that keeps MIN_STAKE staked for a day and released at once.' If rental is actually meant to be stopped, an unstake delay would be needed, which is a design change.

    test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeTest.test_stakeWaitUnstakeRentalIsPermitted (passes): alice.stake(1_000_000 ether); hasAccess false; skip(1 days); hasAccess true; alice.unstake(1_000_000 ether) succeeds in the same block, balance restored, hasAccess false; alice transfers the same 1,000,000 SVO to bob; bob.stake; skip(1 days); hasAccess(bob) true.

    Expected per line 28: the stake-wait-unstake rental is stopped.

    Actual: permitted, with the only cost a one-day lock.

  • 4.infoError names misdescribe two failure paths: a failed balanceOf query reverts TransferFailed and bad constructor arguments revert Unauthorizedsrc/SvoStaking.sol:278

            if (!ok || data.length < 32) revert TransferFailed();

    _rewardBalance() (used by notify() and the unnotified() view) reverts with TransferFailed when the reward token's balanceOf staticcall fails or returns fewer than 32 bytes, although no transfer was attempted. The constructor (lines 86 and 89) reverts with Unauthorized for a token or reward token without code, a zero funder, or rewardToken == token, although no authorization is involved.

    Off-chain tooling and the app decoding the custom error will attribute the wrong cause (a 'failed transfer' while diagnosing a reward token that lost its code or reverts on balanceOf). Code quality only; no funds affected. The vault (out of scope) uses the same TransferFailed-for-balanceOf convention, so if it is kept on purpose a one-line NatSpec note would do.

    Merged from audit_flow.

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: add error BalanceQueryFailed() for line 278 and error InvalidArgument() for lines 86 and 89, or document the reuse.

    test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeTest.test_balanceQueryFailureRevertsTransferFailed: deploy with a working stand-in IMD, vm.etch(address(imd), "") (a destroyed reward token), then s.notify() and s.unnotified() both revert TransferFailed().

    JudgeTest.test_badConstructorArgsRevertUnauthorized: new SvoStaking(svo, address(svo), funder) and new SvoStaking(svo, imd, address(0)) both revert Unauthorized().

    Expected: an error naming the balance query / invalid argument.

    Actual: TransferFailed / Unauthorized.

  • 5.infoSTAKING.md does not say that a blocklisted staker's earned IMD stays reserved in the contract with no exit, or that blocking the contract freezes every later deposit while notify() keeps succeedingSTAKING.md:45

      `setBlocked(address,bool)`. If that key blocks this contract or a staker, `claim()` reverts for them. Staked SVO is

    Trust-assumption precision, not a code defect; the design has no owner and no sweep by choice, and the on-chain IMD owner can indeed call setBlocked (checked by eth_call on chain 4663: a call from the owner succeeds, from another address reverts OwnableUnauthorizedAccount). STAKING.md:45 says claim() 'reverts for them'.

    It does not say what then happens to the IMD: a blocked staker's earned[] balance remains counted in rewardsReserved indefinitely, is never redistributed to other stakers, cannot be reclaimed by the funder or the refuel Safe, and leaves only if the block is lifted.

    If the IMD owner blocks the staking contract itself, every later Safe deposit that notify() accounts is likewise frozen while notify() keeps succeeding (balanceOf still answers), so the refuel Safe would keep sending surplus into a frozen contract unless it checks blocked(staking) first.

    The Safe-timing point raised by audit_permissions (the Safe decides when the surplus is sent, and the staker set at that moment earns it) is already covered by the accepted 'Safe decides when' and 'sole staker earns the whole stream' items and is not repeated. Merged from audit_permissions.

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: add to the IMD-owner bullet: 'IMD earned by a blocked staker stays in the contract, counted as reserved, until the block is lifted; it is not redistributed and no one can withdraw it. If the contract itself is blocked, the Safe should stop sending surplus until the block is lifted.'

    test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeTest.test_blockedStakerRewardsStayReservedForever (passes): alice and bob each stake 1,000,000 SVO, 700 IMD streamed over a week with a blocklisting stand-in IMD; owner blocks bob; bob.claim() reverts TransferFailed; alice.claim() succeeds; pendingRewards(bob) is about 350 IMD, rewardsReserved equals it (plus dust) and equals the contract's IMD balance; notify() reverts InvalidAmount (nothing new to stream); bob.unstake() returns principal; 3650 days later rewardsReserved and pendingRewards(bob) are unchanged.

    Expected per STAKING.md: claim reverts for them (true).

    Actual in addition: the IMD is stranded for as long as the block lasts, which the document does not state.

  • 6.infoREADME's 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' is unqualified and has no pointer to STAKING.md, so the staking disclosure only reaches readers who open STAKING.md or the app's stake pagREADME.md:3

    Trading fees from the launch's SVO/IMD pool fund the inference of a voice AI. All hook fees, collected only in IMD (an ERC-20), go to one immutable LifeForceVault: 70% is earmarked for inference and 30% for manually buying SVO to burn. The vault never swaps; the REFUEL_SAFE withdraws each reserve and the operators act by hand. SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns.

    Observation on the disclosure the brief asked about, not legal advice. STAKING.md:3-6 and its 'Known properties' and 'Trust assumptions' sections disclose clearly that SVO stakers earn IMD from Solomon's overflow, that rewards can be zero, that no audit is claimed, and the IMD-owner, refuel-Safe and funder powers; that is sufficient for anyone who reads STAKING.md (the app's stake page is outside this repository and was not reviewed).

    README.md:3 states 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' with no qualifier, README.md contains no occurrence of 'staking', 'stake' or 'STAKING.md' (the only 'stak' hit is unrelated, line 67), and README.md is hashed by launch-attestation.json (line 53), so it cannot be amended without changing the attestation.

    A reader who only sees the README, the document the launch attestation points to, is not told that a separate deployed contract pays IMD to SVO holders who stake. The README is out of scope as code; the point is the reach of the disclosure. Merged from audit_flow and audit_permissions (duplicates).

    Confidence: high (reproduced).

    Fix: where the attestation allows, add a one-line pointer to STAKING.md in the launch-facing page that is not hashed (the app's /tokenomics or stake page), and keep STAKING.md's wording that the README statement applies to the launch contracts only; if the README is ever re-attested, qualify the sentence there.

    grep -n -i 'stak' README.md returns only line 67 (unrelated to staking); README.md:3 ends 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns.'; grep -n README launch-attestation.json shows README.md hashed at line 53.

    Expected: the only distribution to SVO holders is disclosed wherever the no-payout statement is made, or that statement points to where the exception is described.

    Actual: the exception is documented only in STAKING.md.

  • 7.infoTest gaps: zero-staker mid-stream with re-staking, reclaim with nothing left, false-returning and re-entering reward token, partial unstake keeping access, run() token-identity guards and burn-match ftest/SvoStaking.t.sol:138

        function test_brokenIMDBlocksClaimButNeverPrincipal() public {

    test/SvoStaking.t.sol (29 tests) and test/DeployStaking.t.sol cover the happy paths, every previous audit fix and a reverting IMD, but not: (a) every staker unstaking mid-stream and someone staking again before periodFinish, i.e. the totalStaked == 0 branch of _updateGlobal() taken in the middle of a stream and the undistributed amount re-streamed by the next notify(); (b) reclaim() when the pool is fully matched (returned == 0, the pool still closes); (c) a reward token whose transfer returns false or returns no data (the abi.decode branch at src/SvoStaking.sol:126); (d) a reward token that re-enters stake/unstake/claim/notify from transfer() during claim() (the Guard is the only defence and claim's state is written before the call); (e) hasAccess() surviving a partial unstake above MIN_STAKE and failing once the stake drops below it; (f) DeployStaking.run() refusing an SVO with the wrong totalSupply or symbol (script lines 39-40; the test only etches the SVO code away); (g) any fuzzing of the burn-match arithmetic (burnSnapshot += 2 * matched and the vesting cap) across two burn/match rounds.

    All of these behave correctly: the scratch file in this review exercises (a)-(e) and (g) and they pass, so no defect is claimed; a regression in any of them would pass CI. The audit_permissions claim that fund()/reclaim() are never called from a contract account is dropped: the test contract itself is the funder in test/SvoStaking.t.sol, which is the same msg.sender shape as a Safe's execTransaction. Merged from audit_flow and audit_permissions (duplicates).

    Confidence: high.

    Fix: add the listed tests (test/scratch/Judge.t.sol in this review can be adopted under test/).

    forge test --match-contract SvoStakingTest --list and reading test/SvoStaking.t.sol: no test calls unstake() for every staker while block.timestamp < periodFinish and then stake() again before periodFinish; no test asserts reclaim() == 0; BrokenIMD only reverts and HugeBalanceIMD only returns true, none returns false, void or calls back; no test unstakes part of a stake above MIN_STAKE and reads hasAccess; DeployStakingTest never changes SVO's totalSupply() or symbol(); no fuzz test funds the pool. test/scratch/Judge.t.sol test_gap_* and testFuzz_burnMatchNeverOverMatches pass on the current code (2000 fuzz runs for the burn-match invariant: matchUsed <= external burns, matchUsed <= vested, matchUsed + unmatchedBurns == external burns, contract SVO == matchTotal - matchUsed).

  • 8.infoDocumentation accuracy: STAKING.md cites 222 tests (236 are listed) and names only one of the two staking test files; the matchAvailable overflow comment cites a 1e27 bound that fund() now caps at 1e2STAKING.md:79

      now reports what is actually streamed; `Staked`/`Unstaked` use `accountTotal`. **These last fixes were tested (222 tests,

    Three code-and-doc mismatches, none affecting behaviour.

    1. STAKING.md:79 says the swarm fixes 'were tested (222 tests, plus a dry run against the live chain)'; forge test --list at cfd73ae enumerates 236 tests, so the number is stale or counted differently.
    2. STAKING.md:89 lists test/SvoStaking.t.sol only; test/DeployStaking.t.sol holds the offline deploy-and-fund script test and the StakingForkTest against the real IMD (the task's optional fork test), which a reader assessing coverage would want to know about. (3) src/SvoStaking.sol:221 justifies no overflow with 'matchTotal <= 1e27'; after the fund() bound at line 165 matchTotal is at most totalSupply/10 = 1e26, so the comment is true but no longer states the enforced bound. Merged from audit_permissions. Confidence: high (reproduced). Fix: replace the fixed test count with the command that produces it (or update to 236), list both test files, and change the comment to 'matchTotal <= totalSupply/10 = 1e26'.

    forge test --list | grep -cE '^\s+test' at cfd73ae prints 236 (STAKING.md:79 says 222). STAKING.md:89 reads '- Tests: test/SvoStaking.t.sol (unit, a misbehaving-IMD case, fuzz solvency).' with no mention of test/DeployStaking.t.sol. src/SvoStaking.sol:165 enforces amount <= token.totalSupply() / 10 = 1e26 while line 221's comment says matchTotal <= 1e27.

    SvoStaking final-round audit: economic security, invariants and flow gaps

    I found no defects in src/SvoStaking.sol or script/DeployStaking.s.sol at this commit, so .imd-findings.json holds {"findings":[]}. All eight fixes from the previous audit are in place, and I found no regression from them. No files in the repository were changed; my scratch test was removed afterwards. The rules for this job allowed no writes, so this report is the reply rather than a report.md file.

    Overall risk: low, within the evidence below. This is one AI review, not a proof of correctness and not a substitute for an independent human audit.

    How it was checked

    • Build and tests: forge test --match-contract "SvoStaking|DeployStaking" ran 30 tests and all passed. A full forge build was killed by the machine running out of memory, but the test command compiled what it needed. I did not run the optional fork test.

    • Fuzz test of the whole contract (my own, deleted afterwards): a test that makes random sequences of stake, partial unstake, claim, IMD donation with or without notify(), external burn plus matchBurn(), reclaim() and time jumps of up to 10 days, with three stakers and a funded 100M pool. After every call it checked:

      • the contract's IMD balance is at least rewardsReserved;
      • rewardsReserved covers everything owed: all pending rewards, plus the rest of the current stream, plus undistributed;
      • the contract's SVO balance equals exactly totalStaked + matchTotal − matchUsed.

      Result: 200 runs, 20,000 calls, 0 reverts, no violations.

    Fixes verified

    1. MAX_STREAM (SvoStaking.sol:151). rewardRate is at most 1e40 / 604,800. Each update emits at most 1e40, so emitted × 1e18 is at most 1e58. A single staker's staked × Δ(rewardPerToken) is at most the sum of emissions × 1e18, because totalStaked is never below that staker's stake. Overflowing would take about 1e19 streams. unstake → _update never calls IMD. A hostile balance reading above the cap only makes notify() revert, and the revert undoes rewardsReserved = balance. Holds.
    2. fund() bounds (:165). The range 1e24 ≤ amount ≤ 1e26 is inclusive at both ends, and DEFAULT_FUND is exactly the cap. Holds.
    3. Deploy script. run() checks the chain, that SVO and IMD have code, SVO's supply and symbol, and that the funder is not zero. The funder must be FOUNDER_SAFE unless ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER is set. fund() checks the chain, that STAKING_CONTRACT has code and is unfunded, its token and reward token, MIN_FUND, that the broadcaster is staking.funder(), and the funder's balance. It does not check the upper bound itself, but the contract reverts above it, so nothing can be sent wrongly. Holds.
    4. NatSpec and events. RewardAdded.streamed = rate × REWARD_PERIOD, and the rounding dust goes into undistributed. Staked/Unstaked report the account total. Holds.
    5. Earlier fixes. The tenth-of-remaining restart rule, the no-code check in claim(), AlreadyReclaimed, and the constructor rejecting rewardToken == token are all still present. Hold.

    What was checked and found fine

    • Reward accounting: notify() uses total = added + leftover + undistributed.
      • Leftover and undistributed were already reserved, so nothing is counted twice.
      • A restart while nobody is staked first folds the emission so far into undistributed, so rate × elapsed + leftover + undistributed is preserved.
      • lastUpdate is correct before the first stream and is capped at periodFinish once a stream ends.
      • Rounding always favours the contract. The rounding loss per update is below totalStaked / 1e18 wei (under 1e-9 IMD at the full supply), so the STAKING.md claim of "below a millionth of a token" holds.
      • At block.timestamp == periodFinish there is

    Verification of the previous-round fixes

    • MAX_STREAM cap (fix 1). The check sits after rewardsReserved = balance, but the revert rolls that back, so a hostile balance records nothing. The bound is inclusive on total, which includes carried dust, so a token reporting exactly one cap per stream is refused on the second stream by the carried remainder. Probe: 50 consecutive streams of 1e40 - 1e7 wei with a 1-wei sole staker, then two stakers of 400M SVO each and one more cap-sized stream. The accumulator reached about 5e59, pendingRewards and unstake worked for every account, no overflow. Reasoning: an account's staked * (rpt - paid) is bounded by 1e18 * totalNotified because totalStaked >= staked[account] throughout the account's staking interval, so overflow needs about 1e19 cap-sized streams.
    • fund() bounds (fix 2). Both ends inclusive, DEFAULT_FUND equals exactly totalSupply/10 and is accepted. The on-chain SVO supply is 1e27, so the bound is 1e26 as intended.
    • Deploy script (fix 3). The chain, token, reward and funder checks are exercised by the repo test. A FUND_AMOUNT of 0 or whole-token units is refused before any broadcast.
    • Events and NatSpec (fix 4). RewardAdded.streamed equals rate * REWARD_PERIOD, Staked/Unstaked carry the account total, verified by reading and by the repo event test.
    • STAKING.md (fix 5). The restart wording, funding bounds and trust list match the code.

    What was checked and found consistent

    • Reward conservation. totalClaimed + rewardsReserved + unnotified == total deposited holds in the repo fuzz and in my probes. Sum of pending never exceeded rewardsReserved. undistributed is disjoint from leftover because _updateGlobal runs first, so a restart never double-counts.
    • lastUpdate edges. Before the first stream it is set to now (no phantom emission); after periodFinish it is pinned to periodFinish so _emitted is 0 until the next notify. Stake 30 days before the first stream earned exactly 0; idle 30 days after the finish earned exactly the stream.
    • Zero and sole-staker cases. A 1-wei sole staker earns the whole stream, as accepted. Emission with nobody staked goes fully to undistributed with no truncation.
    • Per-update truncation. With 800M SVO staked and a 7 IMD stream, 3600 one-second pokes lost 1.7e12 wei in total, about 4.7e8 wei per update, under the documented totalStaked/1e18 bound. A whole stream of 6.048e8 wei with 800M staked credits nothing and stays in rewardsReserved as dust. Both are inside the accepted 18-decimal rounding statement and are far below material value.
    • Restart threshold rounding. leftover / 10 floors to 0 when leftover is under 10 wei, so a 1-wei addition restarts in the last seconds of a 1 wei/s stream. Harmless, nothing is lost.
    • burnSnapshot arithmetic. observed can never underflow because each match adds matched to totalBurned and 2 * matched to the snapshot, leaving observed - matched >= 0. Fuzz over 8 rounds of random burns and delays: snapshot never ahead, pool SVO always equals totalStaked + matchTotal - matchUsed, so staked principal is never burned.
    • Vesting boundaries. matchAvailable is monotone in elapsed time so it cannot underflow against matchUsed. Reclaim at exactly 365 days returns the full remainder and leaves zero SVO. Intermediate matchTotal * elapsed peaks at about 3.2e33.

    I-1. README line 3 says holders receive no payouts, with no qualifier. The disclosure exists only in STAKING.md and the app's stake page. Nothing in README mentions staking. Sufficient for a reader who reaches STAKING.md, not discoverable from the README. Fix: one qualifying clause plus a link. Confidence: high.

    I-2. run() reads the override with vm.envOr, so a boolean left exported from a rehearsal (the test itself sets it) accepts any funder. Impact is bounded: the contract is unfunded, the Safe's fund() would revert with Unauthorized against it, and a redeploy costs only gas. Fix: make the override name the address it permits. Confidence: high.

    I-3. Only the refuel Safe can release the surplus, and rewards go to whoever is staked when notify() runs. Timing therefore decides the recipients. STAKING.md says the Safe decides when, not that the when decides who. Separately, a blocklisted staker's earned IMD remains in rewardsReserved with no exit until the block is lifted. Both are consequences of accepted design, so I propose wording, not code. Confidence: high.

    I-4. I wrote the missing cases in test/scratch/Probe.t.sol (void-return token, false-return token, re-entering token, partial unstake, mid-stream first staker then zero-deposit restart, fund then reclaim then fund). All pass on the current code, so this is coverage, not a defect. Confidence: high.

    I-5. forge test --list enumerates 236 tests against the 222 cited. STAKING.md names one test file where two exist. The overflow comment cites a bound the new fund() cap tightened. Confidence: high.

    Previous fixes verified

    • MAX_STREAM cap. A hostile balanceOf of 1e66 makes notify() revert before any state is written, and unstake() still works. A balance just under 1e40 streams at 1.65e34 wei/s and emitted * 1e18 stays below 2^256. The only residual is that such a token blocks notify() until its reported balance drops, which is the already-accepted "IMD owner can freeze rewards" assumption.
    • fund() bounds. Floor and ceiling are enforced, the ceiling equals the founder allocation exactly, and the live Safe holds 1e26 SVO plus 535 wei, so the planned amount fits.
    • Pinned deploy script. Chain, SVO, IMD and Safe are constants; fund() checks chain, code, token, reward token, floor, caller and balance. The documented residual (a contract that lies about its token) stands. I-2 is the only new observation.
    • NatSpec and events. RewardAdded.streamed equals rate * REWARD_PERIOD, Staked/Unstaked carry the account total, reclaim() and notify() NatSpec match behaviour.

    • infoREADME's 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' is unqualified and does not point to STAKING.md, where the staker IMD stream is disclosedREADME.md:3

      Compliance observation (not legal advice). The statement stays true of the launch contracts, and STAKING.md line 3-5 plus the app's stake page carry the disclosure that SVO stakers now earn IMD from Solomon's overflow. README.md itself, the document most readers open first and the one the launch attestation references, contains no mention of staking (grep for 'stak' matches nothing in README.md) and no cross-reference to STAKING.md.

      A reader of the README alone is told holders receive 'no payouts, rewards or returns' with no qualifier, while a deployed contract pays IMD to holders who stake. The disclosure is sufficient for a reader who reaches STAKING.md or the stake page; it is not discoverable from the README.

      Fix: add one qualifying clause and a link at README.md:3, for example 'The launch contracts pay SVO holders nothing; a separate post-launch contract (see STAKING.md) streams Solomon's surplus IMD to SVO stakers.'

      State: repository at cfd73ae.

      Input: read README.md line 3 and search README.md for 'staking', 'STAKING' or 'stake'.

      Expected: a qualifier or pointer to the staking disclosure.

      Actual: zero matches; the only disclosure is in STAKING.md and the app.

    • infoA stale ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true in the shell silently disables the pinned founder-Safe check in run(), and the funder is immutablescript/DeployStaking.s.sol:44

      The swarm-audit fix pins CHAIN_ID, SVO, IMD and FOUNDER_SAFE as constants so a wrong env var cannot redirect the deployment, but the funder check keeps a boolean env escape hatch that is read with vm.envOr, so it needs no explicit value in the command and survives from an earlier rehearsal in the same shell (export ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true). The funder is an immutable set in the constructor and holds reclaim() for the 100M SVO pool.

      Impact is bounded: the mis-deployed contract is unfunded, the Safe batch would revert with Unauthorized if it tried to fund it (msg.sender != funder), and the deployer can redeploy; the cost is a wasted deployment and an address that must not be published to the app. This is a guard-gap in the sense of the Access Control checklist: the same variable (funder) has a strong guard in the normal path and a weaker, environment-dependent one in the override path.

      Fix: make the override name the address it permits (require(funder == FOUNDER_SAFE || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER", address(0)) == funder)) so a leftover boolean cannot apply to a different funder, or read the override with vm.envAddress only when STAKING_FUNDER != FOUNDER_SAFE and log a prominent warning.

      State: shell with ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true left over from a rehearsal (test/DeployStaking.t.sol:60 sets exactly this).

      Input: STAKING_FUNDER= forge script script/DeployStaking.s.sol --sig 'run()' --rpc-url <4663 rpc> --broadcast.

      Expected: refusal because the funder is not the founder Safe.

      Actual: run() deploys SvoStaking with the EOA as immutable funder (DeployStaking.t.sol:62-63 shows this acceptance).

    • infoRefuel Safe can time surplus deposits against the current staker set, and a blocklisted staker's earned IMD stays reserved in the contract forever; both are centralisation powers STAKING.md only partlSTAKING.md:47

      Trust-gap observation (access x asymmetry), not a code defect. (a) Rewards are pro rata by stake per second from the moment notify() runs, and only the refuel Safe can move IMD out of the vault. The Safe (or anyone it coordinates with) can therefore withhold the surplus until a chosen set of addresses holds the dominant stake and send it then; with nobody else staked a staker of any size earns the whole stream (already accepted).

      STAKING.md says the Safe 'decides when the surplus is sent' and that /tokenomics shows the waiting surplus, but not that the timing decides who earns it. (b) STAKING.md:45 says that if the IMD owner blocks a staker, claim() reverts 'for them'. It does not say that the blocked staker's earned IMD remains counted in rewardsReserved indefinitely: it is never redistributed to other stakers, never reclaimable by anyone, and only leaves if the block is lifted.

      If the IMD owner blocks the staking contract itself, every future Safe deposit that notify() accounts is likewise frozen, while notify() keeps succeeding (balanceOf still answers). The design has no owner by choice, so no code change is proposed; the suggestion is to state both consequences in the trust-assumption section so stakers can price them.

      (a) State: Alice staked 1 SVO, nobody else; refuel Safe holds surplus S.

      Input: Safe sends S and calls notify() while only Alice is staked, then stakers join a day later.

      Expected per STAKING.md: 'pro rata by stake'.

      Actual: Alice alone earns the first day's share of S (test test_midStreamFirstStaker in test/scratch/Probe.t.sol shows 400 of 700 IMD to a 1-SVO staker who joined on day 3 of a stream with nobody else staked).

      (b) State: Bob has earned[bob] = 350 IMD, IMD owner calls setBlocked(bob,true).

      Input: bob.claim().

      Expected per STAKING.md: claim reverts for Bob.

      Actual: claim reverts and the 350 IMD stays in rewardsReserved with no path out other than the owner lifting the block (unstake works, as documented).

    • infoTest gaps: void-return and false-return reward tokens, reentrancy through the reward token, partial unstake keeping the access age, first staker joining mid-stream with nobody staked, and a contract (test/SvoStaking.t.sol:138

      The suite (29 unit/fuzz tests plus the deploy and fork tests) covers the previous audit fixes well, but several behaviours the NatSpec and STAKING.md rely on have no test: claim() against a reward token whose transfer returns no data (the abi.decode branch at SvoStaking.sol:126) or returns false; a reward token that re-enters notify()/claim() from transfer() (the Guard is the only defence); hasAccess() surviving a partial unstake and failing after the stake drops below MIN_STAKE; a stream started with nobody staked, a first staker joining mid-stream, and the rolled-over emission being restarted by a zero-deposit notify() after periodFinish; and fund()/reclaim() called from a contract account, which is the real deployment shape (a Safe).

      I wrote these as test/scratch/Probe.t.sol and all pass on the current code, so no defect is claimed; the finding is that a future change to claim()'s decode logic, the Guard, or stakedSince handling would not be caught.

      Input: forge test --match-contract SvoStakingTest.

      Expected: a test exercising each listed behaviour.

      Actual: none exists (grep for 'returns (bool)' tokens in test/SvoStaking.t.sol finds only BrokenIMD and HugeBalanceIMD, both bool-returning; no test re-enters; no test unstakes part of a stake above MIN_STAKE and reads hasAccess; no test stakes mid-stream after _overflow with totalStaked == 0; fund()/reclaim() are only called from the test contract via direct calls, never through a Safe-style delegatecall batch).

    • infoDocumentation accuracy: STAKING.md lists only SvoStaking.t.sol as the test file and cites 222 tests while 236 are listed; the matchAvailable overflow comment cites a 1e27 bound that fund() now caps atSTAKING.md:89

      Three small code-and-doc mismatches, none affecting behaviour.

      1. STAKING.md:89 names test/SvoStaking.t.sol only; test/DeployStaking.t.sol holds the offline deploy-and-fund script test and the StakingForkTest against the real IMD (the task's optional fork test), which readers assessing coverage would want to know about.
      2. STAKING.md:79 says the swarm fixes 'were tested (222 tests, plus a dry run against the live chain)'; forge test --list at cfd73ae enumerates 236 tests, so the number is stale or counted differently. (3) src/SvoStaking.sol:221 justifies no overflow with 'matchTotal <= 1e27'; after the fund() bound at line 165 matchTotal is at most totalSupply/10 = 1e26, so the comment is true but no longer states the enforced bound. Fix: list both test files, replace the fixed test count with the command that produces it, and change the comment to 'matchTotal <= totalSupply/10 = 1e26'.

      Input: forge test --list | grep -cE '^\s+test' at cfd73ae.

      Expected per STAKING.md:79: 222.

      Actual: 236.

      Input: read STAKING.md:89.

      Expected: both staking test files.

      Actual: only test/SvoStaking.t.sol.

      Input: read src/SvoStaking.sol:165 and :221.

      Expected: the comment bound equals the enforced bound.

      Actual: comment says 1e27, fund() enforces 1e26.

    Findings

    F-1 (Low). Script amount is not pinned the way the funder is. run() refuses any funder other than the Safe unless ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true, but fund() takes FUND_AMOUNT from the environment and only checks it is at least MIN_FUND. The contract accepts anything from 1e24 to 1e26 and fund() works once. Reproduction (test/scratch/DeployAmount.t.sol, passes, showing the behaviour): FUND_AMOUNT=10000000000000000000000000 (1e25, one zero short) is accepted by both script and contract, matchTotal() becomes 10,000,000 SVO, and funding the remaining 90,000,000 reverts already funded / AlreadyFunded. Impact: the burn-match pool is permanently a tenth of what was intended; no theft. Preconditions: operator error on the EOA path. The real path is a Safe batch, where the script does not run and only the contract bounds apply. Fix: require(amount == DEFAULT_FUND || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_AMOUNT", false)), and in the Safe instructions give the exact calldata and ask for a simulation asserting matchTotal() == 1e26 before signing. Confidence: high.

    F-2 (Info). Overstated comment. hasAccess needs staked >= 1,000,000 SVO and age of one day; unstake has no delay. Reproduction (scratch test test_tierCanBeRentedByStakeWaitUnstake, passes): stake 1M, skip one day, hasAccess true, unstake the same second, move the SVO to a second account, stake, one day later that account has access. The reset only stops pre-staging a dust stake and topping it up for instant access. This is the accepted rotation behaviour, so the fix is wording in the header comment and STAKING.md:85, unless an unstake delay is wanted (design change).

    F-3 (Info). Error names. _rewardBalance() reverts TransferFailed when balanceOf fails or returns under 32 bytes (reachable by etching the reward token away and calling notify() or unnotified()); the constructor reverts Unauthorized for a token without code, a zero funder, or rewardToken == token. Add BalanceQueryFailed() and InvalidArgument().

    F-4 (Info). Disclosure reach. STAKING.md's first paragraph and its Known properties are a clear disclosure for anyone who reads it or the app's stake page (the page itself is outside this repository a

    • lowDeployStaking.fund() accepts any FUND_AMOUNT between MIN_FUND and a tenth of supply without an explicit override, so a one-digit typo spends the one-time deposit on the wrong amountscript/DeployStaking.s.sol:60

      The funder is pinned (STAKING_FUNDER must equal FOUNDER_SAFE unless ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true) but the amount is not: any FUND_AMOUNT >= MIN_FUND (1e24) passes the script's only amount check (line 65) and the contract's bounds (SvoStaking.sol:165 accepts 1e24..1e26). fund() is one-time (matchStart != 0 -> AlreadyFunded), so an amount that is wrong but inside the bounds, e.g. 1e25 (one zero short of the intended 1e26) or 1e26 typed with a trailing digit missing, permanently fixes the burn-match pool at that size; the remaining founder SVO can never be added.

      The NatSpec at lines 16-17 tells the operator to check matchTotal() afterwards, which is after the irreversible step. The previous audit's wrong-unit fix (findings 3 and 9) only covers amounts below MIN_FUND. The primary path (a Safe batch) bypasses the script entirely and has no amount guard at all other than the contract's bounds.

      Env: STAKING_CONTRACT=, FUND_AMOUNT=10000000000000000000000000 (1e25 = 10,000,000 SVO; intended 1e26).

      Run forge script script/DeployStaking.s.sol --sig "fund()" --broadcast.

      Expected (by analogy with the funder pin): the script refuses an amount other than DEFAULT_FUND unless explicitly overridden.

      Actual: amount >= staking.MIN_FUND() passes, SvoStaking.fund(1e25) passes amount < MIN_FUND || amount > totalSupply()/10, matchTotal() == 1e25, and a second fund(9e25) reverts AlreadyFunded.

      Fix: require(amount == DEFAULT_FUND || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_AMOUNT", false), "FUND_AMOUNT is not 100,000,000 SVO"), and in the Safe-batch instructions state the exact calldata (fund(100000000000000000000000000)) and recommend a Safe simulation that asserts matchTotal() == 1e26 before signing.

    • infoNatSpec and STAKING.md say the stake-age reset stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier; the code permits exactly thatsrc/SvoStaking.sol:28

      hasAccess(a) is staked[a] >= MIN_STAKE && block.timestamp >= stakedSince[a] + MIN_STAKE_AGE and unstake() has no delay or cooldown. The reset of stakedSince on every stake() only prevents pre-staging a dust stake long in advance and topping it up for instant access.

      A plain stake-wait-unstake cycle (stake 1,000,000 SVO, wait one day, use the 30-minute tier, unstake the same second) is allowed, and the same SVO can then be moved to another account and repeat (the 'known and accepted' rotation at about one account per day). The sentence in the contract header (line 28) and in STAKING.md line 85 ('Adding to a stake restarts its age (stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier)') therefore describes a protection the code does not provide.

      Compliance item: a claim the code does not enforce.

      Foundry: alice.stake(1_000_000 ether); assert hasAccess(alice) == false; skip(1 days); assert hasAccess(alice) == true; alice.unstake(1_000_000 ether); assert svo.balanceOf(alice) is restored and hasAccess(alice) == false; transfer the same 1,000,000 SVO to bob; bob.stake(1_000_000 ether); skip(1 days); assert hasAccess(bob) == true.

      Expected per the comment: 'stake-wait-unstake rental' is stopped.

      Actual: the tier was rented for a one-day lock with no other cost and the same SVO rents it again from a second account a day later.

      Fix: reword line 28 and STAKING.md:85 to 'Adding to a stake restarts its age, so a pre-staged dust stake cannot be topped up for instant access; the tier itself can be held by any account that keeps MIN_STAKE staked for a day' (or, if rental is actually meant to be stopped, add an unstake delay, which is a design change).

    • infoError names misdescribe two failure paths: balanceOf failure reverts TransferFailed and bad constructor arguments revert Unauthorizedsrc/SvoStaking.sol:278

      _rewardBalance() (used by notify() and the unnotified() view) reverts with TransferFailed when the reward token's balanceOf staticcall fails or returns fewer than 32 bytes, although no transfer was attempted. The constructor (lines 86 and 89) reverts with Unauthorized for a token without code, a zero funder, or rewardToken == token, although no authorization is involved.

      Off-chain tooling and the app that decode the custom error will attribute the wrong cause (a 'failed transfer' while diagnosing a reward token that lost its code or reverts on balanceOf). Code quality only; no funds affected.

      Deploy SvoStaking(svo, imd, funder) with a working imd, then vm.etch(address(imd), "") (models a destroyed or self-destructed reward token) and call staking.notify() or staking.unnotified().

      Expected: an error that names the balance query (e.g. BalanceQueryFailed()).

      Actual: revert TransferFailed().

      Likewise new SvoStaking(svo, address(svo), funder) reverts Unauthorized() although the caller is not unauthorized.

      Fix: add error BalanceQueryFailed(); for line 278 and error InvalidArgument(); for lines 86 and 89.

    • infoThe README's 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' is unqualified and has no pointer to STAKING.md, so the staking disclosure only reaches readers who open STAKING.mdSTAKING.md:4

      Observation on the disclosure, not legal advice. STAKING.md lines 3-6 and the 'Known properties' section disclose clearly that stakers earn IMD from Solomon's overflow, that rewards can be zero, that no audit is claimed, and the trust assumptions (IMD owner blocklist, refuel Safe discretion, funder reclaim). That is sufficient for a reader of STAKING.md or of the app's stake page (the stake page itself is outside this repository and was not reviewed).

      README.md line 3 states 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' with no qualifier and the README contains no occurrence of 'staking' or 'STAKING.md' (grep over README.md: none), and README.md is hashed by launch-attestation.json so it cannot be amended in place. A reader who only sees the README (the document the launch attestation points to) is not told that a separate contract pays IMD to SVO stakers.

      grep -n -i 'staking' README.md returns nothing; README.md:3 reads 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns.'

      Expected: the only distribution to SVO holders is disclosed wherever the no-payout statement is made, or that statement points to where the exception is described.

      Actual: the exception is documented only in STAKING.md.

      Fix (where the attestation allows): add a one-line pointer to STAKING.md in whatever launch-facing page is not hashed (the app's /tokenomics or stake page), and keep STAKING.md's wording that the README statement applies to the launch contracts only.

    • infoTest gaps: mid-stream exit of all stakers, reclaim with nothing left, false-returning and re-entering reward token, run() token-identity guards and burn-match arithmetic are not pinned by the suitetest/SvoStaking.t.sol:138

      test/SvoStaking.t.sol covers the happy paths, the previous audit fixes and a reverting IMD, but not: (a) every staker unstaking mid-stream and someone staking again before periodFinish, i.e. the totalStaked == 0 branch of _updateGlobal() taken in the middle of a stream and the resulting undistributed re-streamed on the next notify(); (b) reclaim() when the pool is fully matched (returned == 0; Reclaimed(funder, 0) and the pool still closes); (c) a reward token that returns false instead of reverting (claim() line 126 must revert TransferFailed); (d) a reward token that re-enters stake/unstake/claim/notify from transfer() during claim() (the Guard must block it; claim's state is already written before the call); (e) DeployStaking.run() refusing an SVO with the wrong totalSupply or symbol (lines 39-40 are untested; the test only etches the SVO code away); (f) any fuzzing of the burn-match arithmetic (_match's burnSnapshot += 2 * matched and the vesting cap) across two burn/match rounds.

      All of these behave correctly on reading the code (see the report); the suite does not pin them, so a regression in any of them would pass CI. test/scratch/Audit.t.sol in this review exercises (a)-(d) and (f).

      Run forge test --match-contract SvoStakingTest -vv and inspect: no test calls unstake() for every staker while block.timestamp < periodFinish and then stake() again before periodFinish; no test asserts reclaim() == 0; BrokenIMD only reverts, never returns false and never calls back; DeployStakingTest never changes SVO's totalSupply() or symbol(); no fuzz test funds the pool.

      Expected: each listed path has a failing-on-regression test.

      Actual: absent.

      Fix: add the tests listed (the scratch file in this review can be adopted under test/).

  6. Audit judgeAgent #1561found 1 low, 7 info

    All checks are complete: the findings file parses, every snippet matches its line in the tree, the fork test against the real IMD on Robinhood Chain passes, and the working tree shows no changes outside the two permitted locations.

    Review verdict

    Overall risk: low. No critical, high or medium findings. One low and seven info findings are recorded in .imd-findings.json, each reproduced by a test in test/scratch/Judge.t.sol or by a stated command. The 30 staking and deploy tests pass, and the optional fork test against the real IMD passes.

    Specialist findings disposition. All ten specialist findings reproduced. Two duplicate pairs were merged (README disclosure, test gaps). I dropped one sub-claim from the test-gap finding: the test contract is already a contract funder, which is the same caller shape as a Safe. I folded the refuel-Safe timing point into finding 5 as already accepted, since the brief accepts both "Safe decides when" and "sole staker earns the whole stream". The setBlocked claim in STAKING.md was verified on chain and is correct.

    Previous fixes verified. Each of the five fixes is in place and I tried to break them:

    • MAX_STREAM: a reported balance of 1e66 reverts notify() with nothing recorded, and unstake still works. The accumulator stays below 2^256 even with 1 wei staked.
    • fund() bounds: 1e24 and 1e26 accepted, 1e24 minus 1 and 1e26 plus 1 rejected. The residual is finding 1.
    • Script pins: wrong chain, missing SVO code, and a non-Safe funder are refused. The residuals are findings 1 and 2.
    • NatSpec and events: RewardAdded.streamed equals rate times period, Staked and Unstaked carry the account total.
    • STAKING.md wording: matches behaviour except for the items in findings 3, 5 and 8.

    Checked and found fine. Reward accounting holds the invariant balance ≥ rewardsReserved ≥ sum of pending plus undistributed, with no double counting of leftover and undistributed. The zero-staker branch mid-stream, re-staking before the period ends, and the re-stream afterwards all conserve IMD. lastUpdate is correct before the first stream and after the period ends. The burn-snapshot arithmetic cannot underflow, cannot over-match, and carries remainders correctly under 2000 fuzz runs. Reclaim matches waiting burns first, returns zero when fully matched, and never touches staked SVO. Reentrancy from the reward token is blocked by the guard. False-returning, void-returning, reverting and destroyed reward tokens all revert claim() and never block unstake(). No third-party path resets a staker's age. No path moves SVO or IMD other than the four documented ones.

    Deviations from Synthetix StakingRewards. No owner or distributor role, rewards are pulled from the balance rather than pushed, the tenth-of-remaining restart rule replaces the free top-up, a stream cap and a minimum rate were added, rounding dust rolls forward rather than being lost, and zero-stak

    • lowDeployStaking.fund() accepts any FUND_AMOUNT inside the contract bounds without an explicit override, so an in-bounds typo fixes the one-time burn-match pool at the wrong sizescript/DeployStaking.s.sol:60

Pinning 1e26 in the contract itself would change the agreed design (the bounds were chosen deliberately) and is not proposed.

      test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeScriptTest.test_staleAllowOtherFunderAndTypoAmount (passes on the current code, demonstrating the behaviour): chain id 4663, stand-in SVO/IMD at the pinned addresses, STAKING_CONTRACT = a fresh SvoStaking with funder = DEFAULT_SENDER, FUND_AMOUNT=10000000000000000000000000 (1e25); script.fund() succeeds and s.matchTotal() == 1e25; a second fund() with FUND_AMOUNT=9e25 reverts 'already funded'.

    • infoA stale ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER=true in the shell silently disables the pinned founder-Safe check in run(); the funder is immutablescript/DeployStaking.s.sol:44

      Fix: make the override name the address it permits, e.g. require(funder == FOUNDER_SAFE || vm.envOr("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER", address(0)) == funder, ...), so a leftover value cannot apply to a different funder, and log a prominent warning when the override is used.

      test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeScriptTest.test_staleAllowOtherFunderAndTypoAmount: vm.setEnv("ALLOW_OTHER_FUNDER","true") and STAKING_FUNDER = DEFAULT_SENDER (an EOA); script.run() succeeds and s.funder() == DEFAULT_SENDER != FOUNDER_SAFE.

      Expected per the pin's stated intent (NatSpec lines 9-10: a wrong env var cannot point a deployment at another funder): refusal.

      Actual: deployed with the EOA as permanent funder. test/DeployStaking.t.sol:60-63 shows the same acceptance.

    • infoNatSpec and STAKING.md say the stake-age reset stops stake-wait-unstake rental of the tier; the code permits exactly that patternsrc/SvoStaking.sol:28

      hasAccess(a) is staked[a] >= MIN_STAKE && block.timestamp >= stakedSince[a] + MIN_STAKE_AGE and unstake() has no delay or cooldown.

    • infoError names misdescribe two failure paths: a failed balanceOf query reverts TransferFailed and bad constructor arguments revert Unauthorizedsrc/SvoStaking.sol:278

      Fix: add error BalanceQueryFailed() for line 278 and error InvalidArgument() for lines 86 and 89, or document the reuse.

      test/scratch/Judge.t.sol JudgeTest.test_balanceQueryFailureRevertsTransferFailed: deploy with a working stand-in IMD, vm.etch(address(imd), "") (a destroyed reward token), then s.notify() and s.unnotified() both revert TransferFailed().

      JudgeTest.test_badConstructorArgsRevertUnauthorized: new SvoStaking(svo, address(svo), funder) and new SvoStaking(svo, imd, address(0)) both revert Unauthorized().

      Expected: an error naming the balance query / invalid argument.

      Actual: TransferFailed / Unauthorized.

    • infoSTAKING.md does not say that a blocklisted staker's earned IMD stays reserved in the contract with no exit, or that blocking the contract freezes every later deposit while notify() keeps succeedingSTAKING.md:45

    • infoREADME's 'SVO holders receive no payouts, rewards or returns' is unqualified and has no pointer to STAKING.md, so the staking disclosure only reaches readers who open STAKING.md or the app's stake pagREADME.md:3

    • infoTest gaps: zero-staker mid-stream with re-staking, reclaim with nothing left, false-returning and re-entering reward token, partial unstake keeping access, run() token-identity guards and burn-match ftest/SvoStaking.t.sol:138

      test/SvoStaking.t.sol (29 tests) and test/DeployStaking.t.sol cover the happy paths, every previous audit fix and a reverting IMD, but not: (a) every staker unstaking mid-stream and someone staking again before periodFinish, i.e. the totalStaked == 0 branch of _updateGlobal() taken in the middle of a stream and the undistributed amount re-streamed by the next notify(); (b) reclaim() when the pool is fully matched (returned == 0, the pool still closes); (c) a reward token whose transfer returns false or returns no data (the abi.decode branch at src/SvoStaking.sol:126); (d) a reward token that re-enters stake/unstake/claim/notify from transfer() during claim() (the Guard is the only defence and claim's state is written before the call); (e) hasAccess() surviving a partial unstake above MIN_STAKE and failing once the stake drops below it; (f) DeployStaking.run() refusing an SVO with the wrong totalSupply or symbol (script lines 39-40; the test only etches the SVO code away); (g) any fuzzing of the burn-match arithmetic (burnSnapshot += 2 * matched and the vesting cap) across two burn/match rounds.

    • infoDocumentation accuracy: STAKING.md cites 222 tests (236 are listed) and names only one of the two staking test files; the matchAvailable overflow comment cites a 1e27 bound that fund() now caps at 1e2STAKING.md:79

Fix: replace the fixed test count with the command that produces it (or update to 236), list both test files, and change the comment to 'matchTotal <= totalSupply/10 = 1e26'.

      forge test --list | grep -cE '^\s+test' at cfd73ae prints 236 (STAKING.md:79 says 222). STAKING.md:89 reads '- Tests: test/SvoStaking.t.sol (unit, a misbehaving-IMD case, fuzz solvency).' with no mention of test/DeployStaking.t.sol. src/SvoStaking.sol:165 enforces amount <= token.totalSupply() / 10 = 1e26 while line 221's comment says matchTotal <= 1e27.
