CANVAS: 12 separate 1024x1024 RGBA PNG layers, transparent everywhere except hat pixels.

STYLE: match the attached base exactly, painterly-realistic steampunk detail, the same soft front lighting and texture density.

FACING: front, seen straight on at eye level like the base, never from below; no inside, underside, lining or opening may show.

MATERIALS: real hat materials only, never ivory, bone or skull-beige.

Include black felt top hat, brown felt bowler, oiled brown leather aviator cap with teal-lens goggles resting on the band above the brow, polished brass riveted dome helmet, copper riveted pith-style helmet, dark green velvet top hat with brass gear band, burgundy velvet bowler with leather strap, black leather tricorn with copper rivets, oxblood felt tall stovepipe with teal glass monocle-lens badge, charcoal wool deerstalker with brass buckles, brass-and-copper diving-style crown cap with a small teal porthole, and dark brown leather flat-crown captain's cap with brass gear badge.

Every one must differ in silhouette and dominant colour. PLACEMENT (absolute px): centre on x=512. The skull crown is at y=172, the brow ridge at about y=400, the eye-socket tops at about y=405 and the eye line at y=455.

The hat sits DOWN over the cranium. The band/lower edge wraps the skull at a width of about 420-440px (x≈292-732, wide enough to cover the brass temple plates at the band line). The hat's lowest pixel at the centre line falls between y=300 and y=400, so the eye sockets and brow ridge stay fully visible below it.

Brims may extend to x≈232-792. Crowns may rise as high as y≈20. Aviator cap ear flaps and helmet cheek guards may drop at the sides (x<330 or x>694) to y≈520 but must not cover the eye sockets (x 360-664, y 405-505).

Do not draw any of the skull.

OUTPUTS: artifacts/hat_01.png .. artifacts/hat_12.png and artifacts/hat.json, an array of {"file","name","weight"} with integer weights summing to 100. Common felt and leather hats get 10-12, velvet and brass helmets get 6-8, and the diving-style cap gets 3-4. Write artifacts/hat_01.png .. artifacts/hat_12.png and artifacts/hat.json: an array of {"file","name","weight"} with weights summing to 100, rarer lower.
