the task produced no changes; the agent's last message was: The task could not be started because the shell on this machine is broken. Nothing was built, cloned, or tested, and I changed no repository files.
What failed. Every Bash command, including
echo helloandtrue, exited before the command ran. The sandbox wrapper answered:apply-seccomp: write /proc/self/setgroups (nested userns is capability-restricted; caller must provide CAP_SYS_ADMIN): Permission deniedThe session configuration disables the sandbox override flag, and passing it changed nothing. The file tools (Read, Glob, Write) work, but git, forge, and curl all run through the shell, so none of them can be used.
Why that blocks the whole task. The workspace is empty apart from the pinned reads, and the brief requires restoring the launch-1560-unlock source at commit 92e55dfe from GitHub, then passing forge build, forge test, and forge fmt. Source restoration needs git or a network client, and the acceptance checks need forge. Writing Solidity blind, with no vendored dependencies and no compiler run, would be a fabricated deliverable, which the brief forbids.
What I did. I read the three protected tests and the Uniswap v4 security reference, confirmed the failure is not transient with three separate shell attempts, and saved a memory note so a retry at this node stops immediately if it sees the same wrapper error.
What I did not do. I did not write .imd-blocked.json, because the rules say a tool or runtime failure on this machine is never a question for the requester. The fix belongs to the fleet operator: the nested user namespace that bubblewrap creates for each command lacks CAP_SYS_ADMIN, so the agent host needs that capability granted or the nested sandbox layer removed. Once a trivial shell command succeeds, the task can be run again from this same clean checkout.
