One step on this project's site, the Sworn registry site (.imd/reads/project.md): implement items 1 to 4 below, rebuild and commit the static export in dist/ so the same site name serves it, then check it.

Static as before: no server, key or analytics; tests use a fake EIP-1193 wallet and fake RPC and API answers; nothing is signed or sent.

Change nothing else: addresses, chain, ABIs, layout, routes, the round-6 eligibility snapshot and copy stay, except the texts the items name. Decide, do not ask: a question blocks the job.

Measured on 2026-10-22 from the site's origin, per RPC: publicnode answers HTTP 403 'Archive requests require a personal token' for reads more than about 10,000 blocks behind head, and once in 10 even for a recent range; thirdweb allows at most 1,000 blocks per eth_getLogs; tenderly's public gateway and mevblocker/fast serve archive reads, including one topic-filtered eth_getLogs over blocks 25090085 to head, and took 10 parallel calls each.

The site's Registry scans start at the launch block 26242885, so they grow by about 7,200 blocks a day and fail once past publicnode's line. (1) RPC pool. An endpoint that errors or answers 429 sits out for at most 60 seconds and is then tried again, never for the rest of the visit.

A range an endpoint refuses for its size is read in smaller parts rather than ending the read. Logs still count as read only when two endpoints return the same logs. The latest block used for a read is fetched fresh, not cached: right after a confirmed request, the feed shows the waiting line until the request's event is found, never 'progress unavailable'.

(2) Read-back windows (the owner's decision; oracle requests finish in minutes: median 1.4 min, slowest 53 min of 493 measured). The oracle feed reads Registry events of at most the last 600 blocks (2 hours). The step 02 'Last request' lines and the shared fact's attempts read at most the last 7,200 blocks (24 hours); the shared line reads 'Attempts in the last 24 hours: .

Last panel result: <result, or none in the last 24 hours>.' Nothing reads before those windows on its own. A 'Check older blocks' button on a feed, a row and the shared fact reads back to the launch block on demand and then shows what it found.

A pending request older than 2 hours shows 'Requested more than 2 hours ago.' with that button. (3) 601 and 1301 checks. 601 reads IdentityMD Transfer events to the wallet over its spec window (25090085 to head minus 64) as one read that two endpoints answer alike, so a wallet without a seat gets the not-met line with its price and 'Request anyway' within the 20 s deadline, and a wallet that received a seat gets the met line.

1301 reads the nonce at block 25769870 from an endpoint that serves archive state. The steps are not disabled while a check runs: 'Checking eligibility…' shows and the next step can be confirmed; a not-met result that arrives before the wallet is asked to sign the request still needs 'Request anyway'. (4) Feed and row fixes from the last review.

The 'Panel agreed' line belongs to its oracle request id: it never shows for another oracle request id, and it stays across 'Retry progress' until the Registry's event for that request arrives. A Missed(requestId, 0, 1) emitted after that request already ended (Abandoned, Verified, Missed or NoVerdict) does not replace its outcome: the row keeps, for example, 'Last request : abandoned'.

Connecting or switching the wallet keeps a known explorer link for the same Registry request.

  3. Site content checkAgent #1812found 1 medium, 1 low, 1 info

The review is complete and .imd-findings.json holds three validated findings. The working tree is unchanged apart from that file.

Outcome: nothing blocks hosting. The export is clean: one local bundle, no remote scripts, iframes, redirects or wallet-secret prompts, and the hosted bundle contains the item texts and the four pool RPC URLs, so dist matches the source at the current commit.

    What I checked

    • Item 1 and 3, live on mainnet through the site's own pool module with no endpoint blocked and with each of the four RPCs returning 429 in turn. Fresh head, the 1301 nonce at block 25769870, the feed's 600-block Registry read and the from-launch read all succeeded in every configuration. publicnode's 403 archive refusal is detected and the endpoint sits out briefly, then recovers.
    • Item 2 and 4 were reviewed in source. The feed window, the 24-hour history window, the shared-fact line text, the stale request line with its button, the per-oracle-id "Panel agreed" rule and the "a request ends once" rule are implemented as specified. The repository's test suite could not run because web/node_modules is absent.
    • Browser run was not possible. Playwright's Chromium fails to start on this machine for lack of a system library, so the explorer card and wallet flows were not driven in a browser.

    Findings

    • Medium, web/src/rpc.mjs:176. With tenderly or mevblocker paused, the 601 whole-window read fails. Only those two serve the 1.16M-block range, thirdweb refuses it for size, and the size-split path drops the one good answer and recurses, hitting mevblocker 43 times before ending with the "two agreeing RPCs" error. The eligibility check treats that message as fatal, so the visitor sees "Could not check eligibility" instead of the not-met line. With both endpoints up the read passes for a wallet with and without a seat in about a second.
    • Low, web/src/settlement.ts:90. The shared fact's stored-result read scans Intake Completed events from the launch block on every load, outside the 24-hour window, and uses viem's cached block number.
    • Info, dist/index.html:20. Coverage note recording what the export loads and which checks ran live versus in source only.

    • medium601 whole-window read fails when one of the two archive endpoints is paused: size-split discards the good answer and ends with 'two agreeing RPCs'web/src/rpc.mjs:176

Item 1 and item 3. The 601 check asks the pool for one eth_getLogs over blocks 25090085 to head-64 (about 1.16M blocks, eligibility.mjs:150). Live on mainnet from this machine on 2026-10-22: publicnode answers 403 (archive), thirdweb refuses the range for size (1,000-block limit), so only tenderly and mevblocker can answer.

With both up the read succeeds (0 logs for a wallet without a seat in 1.2 s; 10 Transfer logs for seat holder 0x047f606fd5b2baa5f5c6c4ab8958e45cb6b054b7 in 0.8 s; two agreeing answers).

With tenderly answering 429 (sitting out as item 1 requires), logs() gets one good answer from mevblocker and a size refusal from thirdweb; because answers.length is 1 and sized is true it drops mevblocker's answer and recurses into two halves, where the same happens again, so mevblocker was asked 43 times in a row and the read still ended with 'Historical logs need two agreeing RPCs; logs were not read in full. Payment blocked.' after 9.5 s.

With mevblocker answering 429 the same read failed after 8.6 s, and a 200,000-block read of the same collection failed in 0.35 s.

The criterion says a range an endpoint refuses for its size is read in smaller parts rather than ending the read, and that a wallet without a seat gets the not-met line within the 20 s deadline; checkEligibility treats this message as fatal (eligibility.mjs catch: /two agreeing/ is not retried with a smaller span) and shows 'Could not check eligibility'.

Rated medium: a functional defect, not content that must not be hosted.

      Node 24, no dependencies.

Import resilientRpc from web/src/rpc.mjs with a fetcher that returns new Response('rate limited',{status:429}) for https://gateway.tenderly.co/public/mainnet and passes every other URL to fetch.

      Call rpc.request({method:'eth_getLogs',params:[{address:'0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D',topics:['0xddf252ad1be2c89b69c2b068fc378daa952ba7f163c4a11628f55a4df523b3ef',null,'0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001'],fromBlock:'0x17ed585',toBlock:}]}).

Expected: an empty log list (not met) within 20 s, read in smaller parts if an endpoint refuses the size.

Actual: rejects after ~9.5 s with 'Historical logs need two agreeing RPCs; logs were not read in full.

Payment blocked.' after ~43 sequential eth_getLogs calls to rpc.mevblocker.io/fast (onRead trace).

Same result when rpc.mevblocker.io/fast is the one returning 429 (8.6 s).

With no endpoint blocked the same call returns [] in 1.2 s via tenderly and mevblocker.

    • lowShared-fact result read scans Intake Completed events from the launch block on every state read and uses viem's cached block numberweb/src/settlement.ts:90

Item 2 says nothing reads before the 24-hour window on its own; only 'Check older blocks' reads back to launch. completion() is called by sharedState() whenever the shared fact has a stored request id, with no window: it reads IntakeV2 Completed logs from block 26242885 to head in 1,500-block chunks (today about 7 chunks, each needing two agreeing endpoints, growing by about 5 chunks a day).

Line 89 (const latest = await client.getBlockNumber();) uses viem's cached head rather than the fresh eth_blockNumber that latestBlock() provides, unlike registryEvents(). This is the shared fact's stored answer, not the Registry event lines the item names, so it is advisory.

Open the claim page for a shared fact whose Registry.sharedFact(id) request id is non-zero, with the network panel open.

Expected per item 2: Registry event reads cover only the last 7,200 blocks until 'Check older blocks' is pressed.

Actual: eth_getLogs calls for address with fromBlock 0x1908... stepping from 26242885 (0x1908... launch) in 1,500-block ranges up to head are issued on load, two endpoints each, without pressing the button.

    • infoCheck coverage: export matches source; browser run not possible on this machinedist/index.html:20

Read for hosting safety: dist/index.html loads only ./assets/index-B0WU2ND_.js and ./assets/index-BdWl440v.css; the chunks ccip-D6CD3Cvr.js and dist-D_wvDzdN.js are local. No remote script, iframe or redirect; outbound hosts in the bundle are the four read RPCs, api.imdnotdead.fun (oracle feed, part of the design), 4byte.sourcify.dev (selector lookup), wallet-SDK deep links and documentation links. No seed-phrase, private-key or password prompt.

The bundle contains the item texts ('Requested more than 2 hours ago.', 'Attempts in the last 24 hours', 'Last panel result', 'Check older blocks', 'Request anyway') and the pool URLs, so dist matches web/src at commit 74324bc.

Live checks that passed through the pool from this origin: fresh eth_blockNumber; 1301 nonce at block 25769870 served by tenderly after publicnode's 403 (also with publicnode or tenderly blocked, served by the next archive endpoint); Registry feed over the last 600 blocks and from launch with each endpoint blocked in turn; 601 for a wallet without and with a seat with all endpoints up or with publicnode or thirdweb blocked.

Not checked in a browser: Playwright's Chromium cannot start here (libatk-1.0.so.0 missing), web/node_modules is absent so the repository's own test suite (24 files, 7 failing on missing viem) could not run, so the feed's 'Panel agreed' persistence, the Missed(id,0,1) row rule and the explorer-link rule (item 4) were reviewed in source only (swarm.tsx:200-313, request-outcomes.mjs:20-40) and no defect was found there.

Not a defect. Open dist/index.html in the export and compare its script and stylesheet tags with the files under dist/assets/.

    • highbug: another wallet’s outcome discards all personal request historyweb/src/request-outcomes.mjs:32

Now: an outcome whose request is absent from the connected wallet’s map makes both entry?.request and request undefined, so the equality passes and !entry.outcome throws. The claim history effect swallows the error, leaving all Last request lines and row history controls unavailable.

Change to: require request and entry to exist before comparing entry.request or reading entry.outcome, and retain the first terminal outcome for each matching request.

Why: items 2 and 4 require usable per-wallet Last request history and correct retained outcomes; other wallets’ Registry events must not break it.

Width: 390px (also independent of viewport).

Run node --test web/tests/personal-facts.test.mjs with dependencies available.

The existing test at line 129 supplies TraitRequested(one, connected wallet), Missed(one,8), TraitRequested(other, another wallet), Missed(other,9).

Expected: one Last request entry for one.

Actual: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading outcome) at request-outcomes.mjs:32.

Independently reproduced in the unmodified source; 51/52 selected RPC/feed/history unit tests passed, this one failed.

In the page, claim.tsx catches this rejected history read without setting requestHistory.wallet, suppressing the lines/buttons.

Browser confirmation at 390×844: with the connected wallet’s TraitRequested(801) then Missed(reason 8), #pick-801 renders Last request 2026-10-21 16:26 UTC: answer false.

Add one Abandoned for an unrelated request id and reload: that line disappears and the count of .row-history button across all rows becomes 0.

    • highbug: a stored shared fact automatically scans before the 24-hour windowweb/src/settlement.ts:159

Now: sharedState invokes completion for every stored shared fact before rendering. completion starts its Intake log scan at the launch block, regardless of older=false; it runs again on health refreshes.

Change to: bound the automatic completion read to the 7,200-block window, and fetch an older stored result only after the existing Check older blocks action. Preserve the separately known stored state while older list data is not loaded.

Why: item 2 explicitly says nothing reads before its windows on its own, and historical reads back to launch are on demand. This path retains the growing archive scan the brief is removing.

      Width: 390×844, Chromium, built dist/ at #/claim.

Fake eth_blockNumber=26,260,000 and sharedFact(1201)=[nonzero requestId, zeroHash,1]; return empty, agreeing Intake logs from two RPCs.

Do not click Check older blocks.

Expected: automatic reads start no earlier than 26,252,800.

Actual: the browser sends eth_getLogs to Intake 0xa43e6f75ee006411f79ac1c84120606c2330de82 starting at 26,242,885, in 1,500-block chunks (24 RPC log requests for this 17,116-block interval).

The shared line still says Attempts in the last 24 hours: 0.

Last panel result: none in the last 24 hours.

Source call at line 160 and completion loop at line 90 reproduce this with any stored shared fact.

    • highbug: checking one row removes older-history access from the other rowsweb/src/claim.tsx:1313

Now: the first Check older blocks action sets a wallet-wide historyOlder flag, but only the clicked id is recorded. After the full scan every other empty row loses its button and receives no result text. Rows with a recent Last request also have no older-history control at all.

Change to: track the older-read result per row and keep a working Check older blocks control on every eligible row until that row shows the older result; alternatively expose the completed full-wallet scan result for every row.

Why: item 2 requires an on-demand older-block check on a row that then shows what it found. A check on 801 must not silently remove the controls/results for 901 and all other facts.

Width: 390×844, Chromium; #/claim with the fake connected wallet 0x2000000000000000000000000000000000000001, no pending/proven oracle facts, and two agreeing empty Registry histories.

Before: both #pick-801 and #pick-901 have Check older blocks.

Click Check older blocks for fact 801 and let its scan finish.

Expected: 901 retains its button or shows its full-history empty result.

Actual: 801 says No request found since launch.; 901 contains only its name/rule/class, with neither a button nor a result.

The same loss affects every other unclicked empty row.

Confirmed from built export and screenshot; the global historyOlder condition is at lines 703–705.

    • highbug: a request that ages in an open feed never offers the older-block checkweb/src/swarm.tsx:233

Now: the two-hour age check is inside initial request discovery. Once pending identity has been cached, subsequent polls never set the stale message, and Check older blocks is rendered only for that message. A request that ages while the page is open keeps its old panel view with no way to read a missed Registry outcome outside the rolling window.

Change to: evaluate the request age on every poll using the retained requestedAt value and expose Check older blocks on the feed independently of initial discovery; an aged pending request must show Requested more than 2 hours ago.

Why: item 2 requires that exact stale line and an on-demand read back to launch, including for requests already being watched.

      Width: 390×844, Chromium, built #/claim.

Supply a pending 801 request with requestedAt=now and TraitRequested at block 26,249,800, head 26,250,000, plus a valid matching oracle detail.

Wait until the feed shows the panel.

Advance fake Date.now by 10,800 seconds and eth_blockNumber to 26,261,000; invoke the production 5,000ms callback.

Expected: Requested more than 2 hours ago. and Check older blocks.

Actual: the old assessing/Panel agreed view remains; the feed contains zero Check older blocks buttons and no stale line.

The same button is also absent from a normal recent feed.

A fresh page load of an already-stale request does show the stale line/button, isolating the cached-pending branch.

    • highbug: a late negative eligibility result can still reach the wallet without Request anywayweb/src/transactions.tsx:474

Now: eligibility is checked once before calling writeContract. That call performs another asynchronous wallet eth_chainId read before eth_sendTransaction. If the eligibility result becomes not-met during that read, the UI displays the negative warning and Request anyway, but the transaction is still handed to the wallet without that confirmation.

Change to: recheck the latest eligibility/Request anyway state at the EIP-1193 signing-request boundary after all asynchronous preparation and chain checks, and return to the checked step if consent is now required. Add a deferred-wallet regression for this ordering.

Why: item 3 explicitly requires Request anyway for a not-met result that arrives before the wallet is asked to sign.

Width: 390×844, Chromium against built dist/, fake EIP-1193 only.

Configure 1301 as kind 5, threshold 20, block 25,769,870, sufficient allowance/balance, and hold its eth_getTransactionCount responses.

Select 1301, open Mint selected facts, tick payment acknowledgement, wait for simulated, then press Request 1301 / Pretrained while Checking eligibility… is visible.

Hold the second wallet eth_chainId after that press (the one inside writeContract, following the explicit chain/account checks).

Resolve the eligibility reads to nonce 0; wait until the dialog renders This wallet does not meet this rule (nonce 0 at block 25769870) and Request anyway.

The fake wallet signing-request count is still 0.

Release the held eth_chainId as 0x1 without clicking Request anyway.

Expected: signing-request count stays 0 and the step awaits extra consent.

Actual: eth_sendTransaction is called once and the rejecting fake wallet sets the step to rejected.

No signature or transaction was produced.

A separate negative-601 browser check reaches the not-met line and Request anyway normally, so this defect specifically depends on the late-response ordering above.

    • mediumfidelity: test notes omit the current RPC and read-window revisionweb/TEST-NOTES.md:5

Now: the current notes still describe the previous settled-event snapshot and older deliveries. There is no current items 1–4 test record and no observation, from a browser on the site origin, naming the endpoint that successfully served each new read kind. The delivery changed no test notes; its only new test files are debugging scripts without assertions for these requirements.

Change to: add a current revision section mapping the RPC cooldown/splitting/quorum, fresh head, read windows/older controls, 601/1301, late consent and feed/row retention cases to their actual tests and results, plus a browser-origin table of the successful RPC for each read kind (including archive logs and archive nonce state). Correct failing regressions before claiming success.

Why: the site assignment explicitly requires recording what each test checks and which RPC served each kind of read from a real browser on the site origin. Historical snapshot evidence does not establish this revision.

Viewport: 390×844 for the required browser evidence; this is also a file-level check.

Read web/TEST-NOTES.md from its current heading through the historical delivery sections, and inspect git diff HEAD^ HEAD -- web/TEST-NOTES.md docs/frontend web/tests.

Expected: a current items 1–4 test matrix and named successful RPC per browser-origin read kind.

Actual: notes are unchanged, their current section is the prior snapshot, and newly added web/tests/_debug.mjs / _debug2.mjs only print history diagnostics.

Independently running the current history regression throws at request-outcomes.mjs:32; the interface-label regression also rejects the newly added Check older blocks label.

    • lowbug: each bounded event scan includes one block beyond its capweb/src/settlement.ts:43

Now: registryEvents subtracts the requested window from latest and includes both endpoints in eth_getLogs, so FEED_WINDOW=600 reads 601 blocks and HISTORY_WINDOW=7200 reads 7,201.

Change to: calculate the inclusive start as latest - options.window + 1n (clamped to launch and any request start), and cover a log exactly one block before that boundary in the window tests.

Why: item 2 specifies at most the last 600 blocks for a feed and at most the last 7,200 for row history and shared attempts.

Width: 390×844, Chromium with fake RPC head 26,250,000 and a current pending request.

The feed sends eth_getLogs from 26,249,400 through 26,250,000 inclusive: 601 blocks, expected at most 600.

At head 26,260,000, the normal row/shared history sends 26,252,800 through 26,260,000 inclusive: 7,201 blocks, expected at most 7,200.

Both bounds are captured in the built-export browser requests.

A matching event at the first queried block is accepted although it precedes the requested inclusive window by one block.

Saved three substantiated findings to .imd-findings.json:

    • High — bug: recent “Last request” lines hide older-history controls. With recent history on all 11 personal rows, both browsers show 11 history lines and zero history buttons. The empty-row case is fixed; this branch remains.
    • Medium — bug: the two-hour notice uses block distance instead of elapsed time. At 7,201 seconds old and 599 blocks behind head, both browsers omit the required notice. The older-block button now works.
    • Medium — fidelity: test notes still omit this revision’s test matrix and browser-origin RPC evidence.

The unrelated-wallet crash, automatic shared archive scan, late-consent race and inclusive-window error are fixed. All 90 unit tests, TypeScript checking and 13 browser scenario groups in each engine pass. An isolated rebuild matches the committed export byte for byte.

    • highbug: recent Last request lines can remove every personal older-history controlweb/src/claim.tsx:1312

Now: the author's empty-row reproduction is fixed: one older read now exposes a result on the other empty rows. However, a row with a recent Last request line still has no Check older blocks button. When every personal row has recent history, the entire personal picker has no way to start its on-demand older scan.

Change to: render the existing Check older blocks button for each unproven, nonpending row until requestHistory.older is true, including rows with a Last request line. Apply the !requestHistory.lines[t.id] condition only to the completed scan's empty-result text, so it is not shown beside a real Last request. Reuse the existing wallet-wide scan and results.

Why: item 2 requires an on-demand older-block check on the row. The previous finding explicitly included rows with a recent Last request; the revised global-result fix still leaves that case without access.

Width: 390×844, Chromium and WebKit, current built dist/ at #/claim, fake connected wallet 0x2000000000000000000000000000000000000001, head 26250000, no pending or proven facts and no community specs.

In fakeChain, set state.pending to cleared TraitRequested fixtures for ids [601,701,801,901,1001,1101,1102,1103,1104,1105,1301], all belonging to that wallet at block 26249800, with requestId = 0x plus the 1-based array index padded to 64 hexadecimal digits.

Supply one later Abandoned for each matching requestId (logIndex 32 through 42), with two RPCs agreeing.

Wait for all Last request lines.

Expected: each row retains Check older blocks, or at least the chosen full-wallet older scan remains accessible.

Actual: all 11 rows display 'Last request 2026-10-21 16:26 UTC: abandoned', but .row-history button has count 0; there is no personal history action to click.

A single recent-history row also lacks its own button.

The author's unmodified R2 empty-row test passes in Chromium and WebKit; this reproduction isolates the recent-line branch that its fix leaves unchanged.

    • mediumfidelity: test notes still omit this revision's test record and browser-origin RPC evidenceweb/TEST-NOTES.md:5

Now: the notes still open with the earlier snapshot delivery and contain no current items 1–4 test matrix or browser-origin record naming the successful endpoint for each read kind. The newly added R1–R5 browser regressions are not documented here.

Change to: add a current revision section mapping cooldown/splitting/quorum, fresh head, automatic windows and older controls, 601/1301, late consent, and feed/row retention to the actual tests and results; include the successful RPC observed from a real browser on the site's origin for each read kind, including archive logs and archive nonce state.

Why: the assignment explicitly requires both what each test checks and which RPC served each kind of read from the site's origin; historical snapshot evidence does not establish this revision.

Width: 390×844 for the browser evidence required by the brief; the omission is file-level.

Read web/TEST-NOTES.md from line 5 through its historical sections, search it for this revision's 600/7,200-block windows, R1–R5, and a current endpoint-per-read-kind table, and compare git diff HEAD^ HEAD -- web/TEST-NOTES.md.

Expected: a current test/result matrix and named successful RPC for each browser-origin read kind.

Actual: the notes file is unchanged in this fix commit, its current section is still the settled-event snapshot, and no such current matrix or origin evidence is present.

    • mediumbug: a watched request's two-hour notice still uses block distance instead of elapsed timeweb/src/swarm.tsx:314

Now: the older-block button is fixed and the author's R4 regression passes, but a cached request is marked stale only after 600 newer blocks. A request older than two hours still lacks the required notice while its block remains in that range.

Change to: compute the age on every poll from the retained pending.requestedAt, using Date.now() / 1000 - Number(pending.requestedAt) > TWO_HOURS; keep the 600-block limit for the log scan and the existing older-block button. Add an age regression independent of head advancement.

Why: item 2 requires 'Requested more than 2 hours ago.' for a pending request older than two hours. The previous finding specifically called for evaluating the retained request time; block distance is not elapsed time.

Width: 390×844, Chromium and WebKit, current built dist/ at #/claim with fake EIP-1193/RPC/API only.

Use the personal-facts-browser fixture's pending 801 request (requestedAt=1792600000, TraitRequested at block 26249800), head 26250000, and record([1,1,1]) for the matching oracle id 23474d49-bf7c-40e0-8dad-41636c73ea84.

Initialize Date.now() to (1792600000+3600)*1000 before navigation.

Wait for Panel agreed, then advance Date.now() to (1792600000+7201)*1000 and head to 26250399.

Invoke the captured production 5000ms poll.

Expected: the feed shows 'Requested more than 2 hours ago.' because the pending request is 7201 seconds old.

Actual: the notice count remains 0 and an exact-text wait times out after 15000ms; the feed keeps its assessing/Panel agreed view.

Its Check older blocks button count is 1, so the prior missing-control failure is resolved.

Measured head minus request block is 599, which leaves the production stale expression false.

The unmodified author's R4 (advancing head beyond 600 blocks) passes in both Chromium and WebKit.

  7. Site content checkAgent #1694found 1 medium, 2 info

The review is complete and written to .imd-findings.json with three entries. No file in the tree was changed.

Outcome of the three findings from last round

    • Medium, not fixed. The 601 whole-window read still cannot finish within the 20 second deadline when one archive endpoint is paused. The pool code in web/src/rpc.mjs is byte-identical to last round. I reran the reproduction live on mainnet today with tenderly answering 429. The pool halved the 1.16 million block range down to thirdweb's roughly 566-block pieces instead of keeping mevblocker's good answer. At 25 seconds it had agreed 22 pieces of about 2,050 needed, and a 280 second run never finished. With mevblocker blocked instead, the read took over 180 seconds. The eligibility check's deadline then fires, so a visitor sees "Could not check eligibility" rather than the not-met line with "Request anyway". With every endpoint up the same read returns in about one second.
    • Low, fixed. The shared-fact result read now stays inside the 24 hour window unless "Check older blocks" is pressed, and it fetches a fresh head. The bundle carries the change. Recorded as info.
    • Info, coverage. All 64 manifest hashes match the export. The page loads only its own two assets, with no remote script, iframe, redirect or credential prompt. Item 4's feed and row rules and item 3's signing guard are present in source and bundle. Chromium still cannot start on this machine and the test suite's dependencies are absent, so those were settled by reading, not by a browser run.

Nothing found rises to critical or high, so nothing here blocks hosting. The one open defect is functional and remains the medium finding above.

    • medium601 whole-window read still cannot finish within the 20 s deadline when one archive endpoint is paused: size-split halves the 1.16M-block range down to thirdweb's ~566-block pieces instead of keeping web/src/rpc.mjs:176

Not fixed. rpc.mjs is byte-identical to the previous round (git diff 74324bc 7f5370b touches no rpc.mjs line). logs() still discards a single good answer whenever another endpoint refused the range for size (answers.length === 1 and sized === true) and recurses into two halves.

Live on mainnet from this machine on 2026-10-22 (head 26249842) with https://gateway.tenderly.co/public/mainnet answering 429 (sitting out as item 1 requires) and publicnode answering 403 (archive), only rpc.mevblocker.io/fast can answer the 601 spec window 25090085..head-64 (1,160,366 blocks); thirdweb refuses anything over ~1,000 blocks.

The pool then halves the range until thirdweb accepts: at 25 s it had made 51 eth_getLogs calls to mevblocker (spans 1,160,366 down to 566 blocks) and 22 to thirdweb (spans 566-567), i.e. 22 agreed pieces of the ~2,050 that the whole window needs at that size. A full run (timeout 280 s) did not finish.

With rpc.mevblocker.io/fast blocked instead, the same read took over 180 s (602 tenderly calls, 295 thirdweb calls). checkEligibility (eligibility.mjs:59-64) has a 20,000 ms deadline and throws 'Eligibility deadline', so the site shows 'Could not check eligibility; the request price is spent whatever the answer.' instead of the not-met line with price and 'Request anyway' (item 3) and the size-split does not 'read in smaller parts rather than ending the read' within any usable time (item 1).

With no endpoint blocked the same read returns in about 1 s via tenderly and mevblocker. The fix remains the one proposed last round: keep the good answer and ask the next ready endpoint for the same range, or split only the endpoint that refused for size, rather than splitting the already-answered range for everyone.

      Node 22+, no dependencies.

Import resilientRpc from web/src/rpc.mjs with a fetcher that returns new Response('rate limited',{status:429}) for https://gateway.tenderly.co/public/mainnet and passes every other URL to fetch.

Call rpc.request({method:'eth_getLogs',params:[{address:'0x0000eC93127BAA929E58E97dd0095A2BFb38ec1D',topics:['0xddf252ad1be2c89b69c2b068fc378daa952ba7f163c4a11628f55a4df523b3ef',null,'0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001'],fromBlock:'0x17ed585',toBlock:}]}) and race it against a 25 s timer, counting onRead calls.

Expected: an empty log list (wallet 0x...01 has no seat) within 20 s.

Actual (2026-10-22, head 26249842): still running at 25 s after 51 mevblocker eth_getLogs calls (spans 1,160,366 down to 566 blocks) and 22 thirdweb calls (spans 566-567); a 280 s run did not finish.

      Same with rpc.mevblocker.io/fast blocked (over 180 s: 602 tenderly calls, 295 thirdweb).

      Unblocked: [] in about 1 s.

    • infoSettled: shared-fact result read now stays inside the 24-hour window and uses a fresh head (web/src/settlement.ts line 90)web/src/settlement.ts:90

Fixed. completion() takes an options.window and starts at latest - window + 1 unless 'Check older blocks' was pressed; sharedState() passes { window: HISTORY_WINDOW } when older is false (settlement.ts:169-176), and the head comes from getBlockNumber({ cacheTime: 0 }) rather than viem's cached value.

The export carries the change: dist/assets/index-BSVqwj2S.js contains cacheTime:0 three times and the new shared-fact text 'Stored before the last 24 hours: use Check older blocks to read its list.' Not a defect.

Not a defect. Read web/src/settlement.ts lines 82-100 and 166-176; grep dist/assets/index-BSVqwj2S.js for 'cacheTime:0' and 'Stored before the last 24 hours'.

    • infoCheck coverage this round: export matches source and manifest; browser run still not possible on this machine (dist/index.html line 20)dist/index.html:20

Read for hosting safety: dist/index.html loads only ./assets/index-BSVqwj2S.js and ./assets/index-BdWl440v.css; chunks ccip-BZOMvwhf.js and dist-hwEM8tGu.js are local. All 64 file entries in dist/imd-deployment.json match their SHA-256 on disk.

Outbound hosts in the bundle are the four read RPCs, api.imdnotdead.fun (oracle feed and intake, part of the design), explorer.imdnotdead.fun, 4byte.sourcify.dev, arweave.net/ipfs.io gateways, wallet deep links and documentation links; no remote script, iframe, redirect, seed-phrase, private-key or password prompt. The bundle carries this round's texts ('No Registry outcome found since launch.', 'Press Request anyway to continue', 'Stored before the last 24 hours').

Items settled in source: item 4 'Panel agreed' persistence and ended-outcome retention across Retry progress and wallet changes (swarm.tsx:178-186, 299-303), Missed(id,0,1) after an ended request skipped (request-outcomes.mjs:26-36), explorer link kept via oracleProgressReader memoised on fact.requestId (swarm.tsx:187); item 3 signing guard that rejects eth_sendTransaction while a not-met result lacks 'Request anyway' (transactions.tsx:457-476).

Live from this origin on 2026-10-22: each endpoint answers eth_blockNumber in 109-259 ms; the 601 read with all endpoints up returns via tenderly and mevblocker in about 1 s. Not checked in a browser: Playwright's Chromium at ~/.cache/ms-playwright/chromium-1248 reports 12 missing shared libraries and no headless_shell is installed; web/node_modules is absent so the repository's test suite (including the new personal-facts-browser.mjs) could not run.

The one unsettled criterion is the medium finding above.

Not a defect. Open dist/index.html, compare its script and stylesheet tags with dist/assets/, and recompute the SHA-256 of each path listed in dist/imd-deployment.json.
