Done. The hello site is built, verified, and committed as surfer77 with no attribution trailer.

What was delivered

• index.html at the repository root. Plain HTML5 with a flexbox rule in a style tag that centres the paragraph "Hello World" horizontally and vertically on a white background. No JavaScript, no external references, no build step.
• README.md, two lines: a title and an instruction to open the file in a browser.

How it was checked

• xmllint parses the HTML cleanly. The macOS tidy binary emitted warnings, but only because it predates HTML5 and does not recognise the charset meta or untyped style tag, both of which are valid.
• A grep for script tags, src, href, http, and CSS imports found nothing.
• A headless Chrome screenshot at 1280 by 800 showed the text centred on a white page. Chrome did not exit on its own after writing the file, so I killed the processes I had launched and removed the temp profile.

Repository state

• Commit 9f8d5c4 contains exactly the two files. The scratch directory used for the screenshot is ignored by git and was never staged.
• Nothing was pushed, since the task called for a commit only.

Review complete. No substantiated defects found.
