Find the rollups that L2BEAT lists with more than 500 million US dollars of total value secured, and for each establish, with sources: (1) its L2BEAT stage (0, 1 or 2) and the reasons L2BEAT gives for it; (2) its proof system: optimistic with fraud proofs, validity (ZK) proofs, or none live yet, and whether proving is permissionless; (3) its exit window and who can upgrade its contracts, with any security council and its threshold; (4) where it posts data (Ethereum blobs, calldata, or an outside data-availability layer); (5) its sequencer and whether users can force a transaction in if the sequencer censors them; (6) the newest release of its main node or prover software and that release's date.

Then rank the rollups from most to least trust-minimized, with reasons, and say which changed stage in the last six months. Every fact cites the page it came from, L2BEAT first and the project's own docs or code second. Nothing is guessed, and what could not be found is said.

Ethereum rollups above 500 M USD TVS: trust-minimisation snapshot, 2026-10-27

Snapshot taken 2026-10-27, 14:20 to 14:40 UTC, from L2BEAT's summary API and page, each project's L2BEAT page, the project's own docs and code, and GitHub release pages. Every fact carries a bracketed source tag resolving to a URL in the reference list at the end; L2BEAT tags (S-, L-, G-) come first in every cell, project docs, code and releases (D-, R-) second. Where sources disagree, both figures are kept; where nothing was found, the cell says NOT FOUND. Only the ranking in section 3 is the author's analysis.

Six-month window used throughout: 2026-04-27 to 2026-10-27. TVS figures move daily; the ones here are the single API observation of 2026-10-27 14:20 UTC [S-api].

1. Selection: which rollups qualify

Rule applied: L2BEAT category "Optimistic Rollup" or "ZK Rollup" (the summary page's Rollups tab) and tvs.breakdown.total strictly above 500,000,000 USD in the API [S-api] [S-sum].

Above 500 M but not rollups per L2BEAT, so excluded from the ranking:

  • Hyperliquid, "Other", 6,569,551,872 USD, L3 on Arbitrum One: "The proof system isn't fully functional", "There is no data availability bridge" [S-api] [S-hl] [S-others].
  • Polygon PoS, "Other", 3,831,951,104 USD: "The proof system isn't fully functional" [S-api] [S-pos] [S-others].
  • Robinhood Chain, "Other", 2,294,226,432 USD: "Closed proofs", "less than 5 external actors that can submit challenges" [S-api] [S-rh] [S-others]. Profiled in section 7 because it has a stage checklist and rollup-like risks, but never ranked.

Below the cutoff and not profiled: World Chain 401,126,016 (Other), Starknet 371,292,320, Ink 365,203,936, Linea 335,396,256 [S-api].

L2BEAT: "the Stages Framework only discusses the maturity of a rollup in terms of decentralization, and not in terms of security" [S-stages]. On 2026-04-30 the Stage 1 minimum challenge period dropped from 7 d to 5 d; no chain in this set was promoted by it (section 6) [S-forum].

2. Ranked table: the six points per rollup

3. Ranking method and reasons (author's analysis)

Criteria in order: L2BEAT stage; permissionless proposing and challenging; forced inclusion and exit without the operator; exit window; upgrade control (who, threshold, delay); data availability, which does not separate them since all five post to Ethereum. L2BEAT's caveat applies: stages measure decentralisation, not security [S-stages].

  1. Arbitrum One. Only chain with a non-zero exit window on any upgrade path (10 d regular); proving fully permissionless with no allowlisted arm; the DAO sits above the 9/12 council for ordinary changes [L-arb-risk] [L-arb-sv] [L-arb-gov]. Against: the 3,600 ETH bond, the instant emergency path, and the owner's power to pause the Inbox [L-arb-sv] [D-arb-forced].
  2. OP Mainnet. Permissionless proving with the cheapest bond (0.08 ETH) and the widest council (10/13) [L-op-sv] [L-op-perm]. Below Arbitrum because every upgrade is instant, the Guardian can switch to a permissioned game, and a liveness module can hand the council's seat to the Foundation Safe [L-op-risk] [L-op-perm] [D-op-sec].
  3. Base Chain. Same checklist as OP Mainnet, but the common proof path (TEE proposals) is allowlisted by a Coinbase-controlled 3/6 multisig, the council is the smallest (8/11), upgrades are instant, and a 3/12 multisig can pause withdrawals for three months [L-base-sv] [L-base-perm] [L-base-gov]. The open ZK challenge path keeps it at Stage 1 and close to OP Mainnet [L-base-stage].
  4. Lighter. Stage 0: proving permissioned to three EOAs, upgrades effectively instant because the 4/7 multisig zeroes the 21 d notice, council below Stage 1 [L-lit-op] [L-lit-ugk] [L-lit-gov]. Above Mantle because users can force transactions through L1 and, after 14 d, anyone can freeze the system and users exit by ZK proof without the operator [L-lit-risk] [L-lit-wd].
  5. Mantle. Stage 0 with the weakest user position: proposing is whitelisted and proposer failure means "Cannot withdraw"; a 3/7 engineering multisig can turn proofs off (optimistic mode) and delete roots; a 6/14 multisig upgrades core contracts instantly; there is no named council [L-man-risk] [L-man-perm] [L-man-stage].

The three Stage 1 chains are close; a reader who weights bond cost or council size differently could swap positions 1 to 3. The Stage 0 pair is separated mainly by the escape hatch.

4. The three most trust-minimised

Arbitrum One. L2BEAT: permissionless BoLD, 3,600 ETH bond, 6 d 8 h + 2 d; "Self sequence", "Self propose"; exit window 10 d regular / None emergency (risk-panel value; other figures on the page in section 8) [L-arb-risk] [L-arb-sv] [L-arb-other]. The DAO route takes 17 d 8 h across three timelocks; the Security Council (9/12) and its L2 emergency twin can upgrade immediately [L-arb-gov] [L-arb-perm]. Docs confirm 12 members, 9-of-12 emergency with no delay, and the ordinary 8 d + challenge period + 3 d route [D-arb-const]. Forced inclusion: Delayed Inbox then forceInclusion (no caller restriction in code), ≈24 h in the docs, 1 d on L2BEAT; worst-case self-exit 15 d 18 h [D-arb-forced] [D-arb-code] [L-arb-seq]. Stage history: 15 config revisions in the window, criteria identical to the 2026-04-22 baseline [L-arb-hist] [G-rename].

OP Mainnet. L2BEAT: permissionless interactive fraud proofs, 0.08 ETH bond, 3 d 12 h + 3 d 12 h; game type 0→8 (2026-06-30, "Trust model is unchanged") and 8→9 SUPER_CANNON_KONA (2026-09-24) [L-op-sv] [L-op-upd] [G-op-8] [G-op-9]. Exit window "None"; 2/2 of Foundation Upgrade Safe 5/7 and Security Council 10/13 "Can upgrade with no delay"; policy adds review and a 7-day veto for regular upgrades, not for emergencies [L-op-gov] [L-op-perm]. The Guardian (the council) can pause, blacklist games and set the respected game type [L-op-perm]. Docs agree on the thresholds and "without upgrade delays" [D-op-roles] [D-op-sec]. Forced inclusion via OptimismPortal, 12 h; worst-case exit 21 d 3 h [L-op-seq]. Stage history: Stage 1 since 2024-06-10; 10 project, 31 template and 44 directory revisions in the window, no rating change [L-op-ms] [L-op-hist].

Base Chain. L2BEAT: "Fraud proofs (1R, ZK)"; proposals carry 0.05 ETH and a TEE attestation or ZK proof; any party with a valid ZK proof can challenge; 5 d single / 1 d dual finality [L-base-sv]. The TEE arm is allowlisted in TEEProverRegistry, administered by the Coordinator Multisig [L-base-perm]. Exit window "None"; Governance Multisig 2/2 of Coordinator 3/6 and Council 8/11, no timelock; it can also pause withdrawals as Guardian, blacklist games, change the respected game type and freeze SP1 verifier routes [L-base-gov] [L-base-perm]. Docs: Azul mainnet 2026-05-28, Beryl 2026-06-25, council since April 2025, no timelock found [D-base-azul] [D-base-beryl] [D-base-sc]. Forced inclusion via OptimismPortal, 12 h [L-base-seq] [D-base-rel]. Stage history: Stage 1 since 2025-04-29; 17 config commits in the window, Stage 2 fields unchanged [L-base-ms] [L-base-hist].

5. The three least trust-minimised

With five rollups the bottom three overlap the top three at Base, which is covered above; its weakest points are the allowlisted TEE proposer path, the 8/11 council with instant upgrades and the 3/12 pause power [L-base-perm] [L-base-gov].

Lighter. L2BEAT: "Stage 0 Appchain ZK Rollup"; Stage 1 blocked by censorable withdrawals, <7 d exit on upgrades, no proper council and the 75 % principle [L-lit-stage]. "Validity proofs (SN)", no execution delay; "Only the centralized operators can submit batches and verify them with a ZK proof" [L-lit-risk] [L-lit-op]. Upgrades: 3/5 governor via a 21 d gatekeeper, 4/7 council zeroes the delay, every upgrade so far fast-tracked [L-lit-perm] [L-lit-ugk]. Guardians EOA 2 and EOA 3 can pause for up to 72 h or 24 h; neither blocks desert mode; L2 paused 2 h on 2026-10-17 [L-lit-perm] [L-lit-wd] [L-lit-para]. Exit without operator: forced L1 requests, 14 d expiry, then desert mode; the desert circuit and a state snapshot at batch #166859 are public and L2BEAT reproduced the root [L-lit-wd]. Code confirms the validator gate, the 3-week notice, the council cut, blob-only DA and ungated activateDesertMode() [D-lit-code] [D-lit-um]. Stage history: Stage 0 at the 2026-04-24 baseline and at every checkpoint (Wayback 04-22, 05-12, 09-14, 10-12, live 10-27); two checklist edits inside Stage 0, see section 6 [L-lit-hist].

Mantle. L2BEAT: Stage 0 ZK Rollup; Stage 1 blocked by the principle, censorable withdrawals and <7 d exit [L-man-stage]. Only whitelisted proposer EOA 2 may post roots; MantleEngineeringMultisig 3/7 "can delete proposed state roots, enable/disable the optimistic (proof-less) mode and change the finalization period"; SP1VerifierGatewayMultisig 2/3 can add or freeze verifier routes [L-man-sv] [L-man-perm]. Warnings: "Funds can be stolen if optimistic mode is enabled and no challenger checks the published state", and funds frozen if the validator goes down (CRITICAL) [L-man-sv] [L-man-risksum]. Exit window "None"; MantleSecurityMultisig 6/14 upgrades the core L1 contracts with no delay; no named Security Council [L-man-perm] [L-man-contracts]. Forced inclusion through OptimismPortal (12 h) exists but proposer failure is "Cannot withdraw" [L-man-risk]. Docs: ProxyAdmin owner "Mantle Security Msig", threshold NOT FOUND [D-man-l1]. DA: Ethereum blobs since Arsia (L2BEAT 2026-04-16, project 2026-04-22) [L-man-ms] [D-man-mc]. Stage history: 12 config and 37 directory commits in the window, no stage override; template logic keeps the Stage 1 principle false while proofs are permissioned [L-man-hist].

6. Stage changes in the last six months (2026-04-27 to 2026-10-27)

None of the five rollups changed its numbered L2BEAT stage in the window. Robinhood Chain (excluded) did not either. Evidence: each project's L2BEAT config history against its last pre-window revision, each page's Milestones, and for Lighter the shared stage evaluator and Wayback captures [L-base-hist] [L-arb-hist] [L-op-hist] [L-man-hist] [L-lit-hist] [L-rh-hist].

Dates of the last numbered promotions, all before the window: OP Mainnet Stage 1 2024-06-10 [L-op-ms]; Arbitrum One BoLD permissionless 2025-02-15 [L-arb-ms]; Base Stage 1 2025-04-29 [L-base-ms]; Mantle and Lighter have never been above Stage 0 [L-man-hist] [L-lit-hist].

7. Robinhood Chain (above 500 M, category "Other", not ranked)

L2BEAT shows two stage readings at once: the API entry and the Others-tab filter say "stage":"Stage 0", while the project page headline says "Robinhood Chain is not even a Stage 0 project" with the warning "The requirement for available node software is under review", and the page header and summary-row data hold "stage":"NotApplicable" [S-api] [L-rh-stage] [L-rh-md] [S-others]. The config leaves isNodeAvailable unset, which the Orbit template defaults to 'UnderReview' [G-rh-cfg] [G-orbit]. Stage 0 checklist: 4 met, node source under review, "Fraud proof submission is not sufficiently decentralized" unmet [L-rh-stage]. Proofs: BoLD "Fraud proofs (INT)" that "only allow 2 WHITELISTED actors", 6 d 8 h + 2 d [L-rh-risk] [L-rh-perm]; docs name Offchain Labs and Alchemy as the validators, allowlisted with a 1 WETH bond [D-rh-gov] [D-rh-node]. Exit window "None": Robinhood Multisig 1 (7/8) upgrades with no delay, Multisig 2 (6/8) with a 7 d timelock [L-rh-risk] [L-rh-perm]; docs: eight-seat Security Council, 6-of-8 routine with 7-day timelock, 7-of-8 emergency without [D-rh-gov]. DA "Onchain", blobs [L-rh-risk]. Sequencer centralised with compliance screening; Sequencer failure "No mechanism": forceInclusion exists but an authorised filterer can make a force-included transaction fail "without delay"; "Self propose (28d delay)" [L-rh-risk] [L-rh-seq] [D-rh-diff]. Software: Nitro v3.12.2 (2026-10-27) [R-nitro-3122]; docs pin older images, see section 8 [D-rh-node] [D-rh-status]. No stage change in the window; mainnet 2026-07-01 [L-rh-ms] [L-rh-hist].

8. Source disagreements and what was not found

  • Arbitrum: forced-inclusion delay 1 d (L2BEAT) vs 7200 blocks ≈ 24 h or delayBlocks: 5760 (two docs pages) [L-arb-seq] [D-arb-forced] [D-arb-addl]; sequencer operator Offchain Labs (FAQ) vs Arbitrum Foundation [D-arb-faq] [D-arb-prog]; L2BEAT's own exit figures disagree (10 d, ≈17.4 d, 2 d / 11 d 8 h) [L-arb-risk] [L-arb-gov] [L-arb-other]; Nitro v3.12.1 was read before and v3.12.2 after its 2026-10-27 13:27 UTC publication [R-nitro-3121] [R-nitro-3122].
  • OP Mainnet: no upgrade delay (docs) vs 14 d non-emergency (blog), unverified onchain [D-op-sec] [D-op-blog]; Operations Safe vs Upgrade Safe naming on L2BEAT [L-op-gov] [L-op-perm]; sequencer drift 30 min (guide) vs 600 (registry) [D-op-forced] [D-op-reg]; operator entity NOT FOUND [L-op-seq] [D-op-reg].
  • Base: whether a non-allowlisted address can create a ZK-only game is not stated [D-base-pc]; two docs pages give different L1 ProxyAdmin Owner addresses [D-base-contracts] [D-base-cfg]; upgrade timelock NOT FOUND in docs [D-base-sc]; Azul spec page still says 7 d [D-base-azul].
  • Mantle: forced inclusion 12 h (L2BEAT, config) vs 24 h (guide) [L-man-risk] [D-man-forced] [D-man-rollup]; multisig threshold and any council NOT FOUND in docs [D-man-l1]; several docs pages still describe EigenDA [D-man-mig] [D-man-faq]; mainnet docs pin v1.5.4 [R-man-docs]; reclassification 2026-04-16 vs Arsia 2026-04-22 [L-man-ms] [D-man-mc]; live permissionless-proposer flag NOT FOUND [D-man-oracle].
  • Lighter: node/sequencer release NOT FOUND, closed source not proven [R-lit-org]; prover has no tags or releases [R-lit-prover]; deployed thresholds come from L2BEAT only [L-lit-perm] [D-lit-um]; deploy dates of the May checklist changes NOT FOUND [L-lit-hist]; an earlier summarised read reported zeroed guardians, superseded by the verbatim page [L-lit-para] [L-lit-perm]; docs say the escape hatch triggers "automatically", code requires a call to activateDesertMode() [D-lit-code].
  • Robinhood: Stage 0 (API) vs "not even a Stage 0 project" (page) vs NotApplicable (row data) [S-api] [L-rh-md] [S-others]; node image v3.11.2 (guide) vs v3.11.4 (notice) vs v3.12.2 (status) [D-rh-node] [D-rh-notices] [D-rh-status]; own forced-inclusion parameters NOT FOUND [D-rh-msg].
  • General: newest release ≠ deployed version for every chain; no legal sequencer operator named by L2BEAT for any of the five; L2BEAT's glossary has no "Other" entry and the summary page no methodology link [S-gloss] [S-sum].

EPISODE 1 (2026-10-27). Nothing had run before. Budget: 30 items, 6 episodes. This episode spends 19 items; 11 remain. SELECTION (orchestrator's sizing read of https://l2beat.com/api/scaling/summary on 2026-10-27, to be confirmed by batch 'scope', which is the citable source): projects L2BEAT categorises as a rollup with TVS > 500M USD are only FIVE today: Base (Optimistic Rollup, Stage 1, ~15.06B), Arbitrum One (Optimistic Rollup, Stage 1, ~9.83B), OP Mainnet (Optimistic Rollup, Stage 1, ~1.72B), Mantle (now 'ZK Rollup', Stage 0, ~1.30B, badge 'Built on the OP Succinct stack'), Lighter (ZK Rollup, Stage 0, ~1.06B, app-specific perp DEX, 'Onchain (SD)' DA). Above 500M but NOT rollups per L2BEAT: Hyperliquid (Other, L3 on Arbitrum, stage 'Not applicable', ~6.57B), Polygon PoS (Other, 'Not applicable', ~3.83B), Robinhood Chain (category 'Other' but Stage 0, Arbitrum Orbit, fraud proofs INT, onchain DA, sequencer failure 'No mechanism', ~2.29B). Below 500M (excluded, to be named in the deliverable with figures): World Chain ~401M, Starknet ~371M, Ink ~365M, Linea ~335M, ZKsync Era ~256M, Celo ~256M, Unichain ~89M, Scroll ~38M. Decision: the six workers' set is the five rollups PLUS Robinhood Chain, which has an L2BEAT stage and rollup-like risks but is filed under 'Other'; the deliverable ranks the five and reports Robinhood separately as borderline, saying why L2BEAT files it as Other. Hyperliquid and Polygon PoS are named as excluded (no stage, no proofs, external DA) and not profiled. BATCHES SPAWNED: 'scope' (1 item): the L2BEAT summary table with TVS, category, stage for everything above 300M on the snapshot date, plus the methodology page, so the selection and the exclusions are cited. 'l2beat' (6 items, one per chain): points 1-5 from the L2BEAT project page alone (stage with L2BEAT's stated reasons, state validation, exit window and upgrade permissions with security council threshold, DA, sequencer/forced inclusion) plus stage history since 2026-04-27 from the project page milestones and the l2beat GitHub config history. 'docs' (6 items): the same points 1-5 confirmed or contradicted from the project's own docs/code (second source). 'release' (6 items): point 6, newest release of the main node/prover software with date and URL. Every brief requires a URL after every fact and an explicit 'NOT FOUND' when a fact could not be found. Wake when all four settle or after 180 minutes. EPISODE 2 SHOULD: read all 19 results (they are small batches, handed as single items). Check each l2beat result has: stage + reasons, proof type + permissionless or not, exit window, upgrader + council threshold, DA, sequencer + forced inclusion, stage history. Check the release results have a version string, a date, and a URL to the release page. Where a result is missing a point, invents a value, or cites no URL, spawn a narrow repair batch (one chain, one point) from the remaining 11 items; do not re-run whole profiles. Also consider one item to double-check stage changes across the six (L2BEAT GitHub: packages/config/src/projects/<slug>/<slug>.ts, 'stage' field history) if the l2beat batch results are vague on history. If results are complete, set finish=true in episode 2 or 3 and write the deliverable: a table per chain, then the ranking. RANKING METHOD (decided now, apply in the write-up): order by L2BEAT stage first (Stage 1 above Stage 0), then within a stage by: live proof system and permissionless proving, forced-inclusion available, exit window length, upgrade control (security council threshold and delay), DA on Ethereum. Expected shape from today's risk summary: Arbitrum One / OP Mainnet / Base (Stage 1, fraud proofs live, self-sequence, onchain DA, no exit window) at the top in some order decided by permissionless proving and council details from the results; then Lighter (Stage 0, validity proofs live, force via L1, escape hatch) and Mantle (Stage 0, validity proofs via OP Succinct, self sequence, 'cannot withdraw' on proposer failure); Robinhood Chain outside the ranking (Other, no forced-inclusion mechanism). Do not fix the order until the results are read. CAVEATS: TVS moves daily; the deliverable must state the snapshot date and figures from the 'scope' result, not from these notes. 'Six months' = since 2026-04-27. Base's Stage 1 and most other stage moves predate the window; Mantle's category change to ZK Rollup and Lighter's listing may fall inside it, the results will tell. Lighter's node/prover may be closed-source: a 'NOT FOUND' there is an acceptable, reportable answer.

Record which projects L2BEAT lists with more than 500 million US dollars of total value secured (TVS) today, so the selection can be cited. Sources, in this order: (a) https://l2beat.com/scaling/summary (the summary table; use the 'Rollups' and 'Others' filters), (b) the JSON at https://l2beat.com/api/scaling/summary (field projects.<slug>.tvs.breakdown.total in USD, plus category and stage), (c) https://l2beat.com/scaling/summary methodology link and https://l2beat.com/glossary for the definitions of 'Rollup', 'Validium', 'Optimium', 'Other' and of the Stage 0/1/2 framework. Deliver, in markdown: 1. The snapshot date and time (UTC) you read the data. 2. A table of EVERY project with TVS above 300 million USD: L2BEAT slug, display name, category exactly as L2BEAT writes it (Optimistic Rollup, ZK Rollup, Validium, Optimium, Other), stage exactly as shown (Stage 0, Stage 1, Stage 2, Not applicable, Under review), host chain, TVS in USD rounded to the nearest million, and the URL of its L2BEAT project page. 3. Which of those L2BEAT categorises as a rollup (Optimistic Rollup or ZK Rollup) AND has TVS above 500 million: this is the selected set. 4. For every project above 500 million that is NOT categorised as a rollup, quote L2BEAT's one-line reason (from its project page risk summary or the 'Other' explanation) for not calling it a rollup. 5. L2BEAT's definition of what makes a project 'Other' versus a rollup, quoted, with its URL. 6. L2BEAT's Stage 0 / 1 / 2 requirements, quoted briefly, with URL. Rules: every number and quote carries the URL it came from right after it. Do not guess or round beyond the nearest million; if the API and the page disagree, show both figures. If something cannot be read, write NOT FOUND and what you tried. Do not profile the projects themselves; only the list, figures, categories and definitions.

Profile {{name}} from L2BEAT only. Read its project page https://l2beat.com/scaling/projects/{{slug}} in full (Risk summary, Stage section, State validation, Data availability, Operator / Sequencer, Withdrawals, Permissions, Upgrades & governance, Milestones) and, where the page links to L2BEAT's stage checklist, that too. Deliver markdown with EXACTLY these headings, each fact followed by the URL (with #anchor where available) it came from: '## Identity' (display name, category as L2BEAT writes it, host chain, TVS in USD with the date read, badges such as the stack it is built on). '## 1. Stage' (Stage 0/1/2 as shown; the full list of stage requirements L2BEAT marks as met and as unmet, quoted; any 'under review' or warning banner). '## 2. Proof system' (L2BEAT's State Validation value verbatim, e.g. 'Fraud proofs (INT)' or 'Validity proofs (SN)'; whether proofs are live; whether anyone can propose and challenge/prove or only a whitelist, with the Permissions entries that say so; challenge period or proof finality time). '## 3. Exit window and upgrades' (Exit Window value and L2BEAT's explanation verbatim; who can upgrade which contracts; every Security Council or multisig named, with its threshold like 9/12 and the delay it bypasses or must wait). '## 4. Data availability' (DA value verbatim; Ethereum blobs, calldata, or an external DA layer; any DAC and its threshold). '## 5. Sequencer and forced inclusion' (who runs the sequencer; L2BEAT's Sequencer Failure and Proposer Failure values verbatim; whether users can force a transaction from L1 and the delay). '## Stage history since 2026-04-27' (did the stage change between 2026-04-27 and today? Evidence: the Milestones section, L2BEAT's project page banners, and the change history of the project's config file in https://github.com/l2beat/l2beat under packages/config/src/projects/{{slug}}/ : look at the 'stage' field in its git history and give the commit URL and date of any change in that window; if no change, say so with the URL you checked). '## Not found' (every point you could not establish, and what you tried). Rules: copy L2BEAT's wording for values and reasons rather than paraphrasing; never guess; nothing from memory; no other site except L2BEAT and the l2beat GitHub repository. Write NOT FOUND for anything missing.

Confirm five facts about {{name}} from the project's OWN documentation and code, as the second source behind L2BEAT. Start at {{docs}} and the project's GitHub organisation {{github}}; use only pages under the project's own domains or repositories (plus the stack's upstream docs, {{stack}}, where the chain inherits a mechanism from the stack and says so). Deliver markdown with EXACTLY these headings, each fact followed by the URL it came from: '## 2. Proof system' (what the docs say the chain uses: optimistic fault/fraud proofs, validity/ZK proofs, or none live yet; which proof system or prover (e.g. interactive fraud proofs, BoLD, OP Succinct, SP1, SNARK); whether anyone can propose a state root and challenge or prove it, or only whitelisted parties; the challenge period or proof finality time; the mainnet date the proofs went live if the docs give one). '## 3. Exit window and upgrades' (who can upgrade the L1 contracts: the governance body, security council or multisig, its threshold such as 9 of 12, any timelock delay in days; whether users get a window to exit before an upgrade takes effect). '## 4. Data availability' (where transaction data is posted: Ethereum blobs (EIP-4844), Ethereum calldata, or an external DA layer/committee, named). '## 5. Sequencer and forced inclusion' (who runs the sequencer, centralised or not; the documented way a user can force a transaction from L1 if the sequencer censors them, the function or contract name and the delay, e.g. 24 hours; or that no such path exists). '## 1. Stage' (anything the project itself writes about its L2BEAT stage or its decentralisation roadmap, with URL; else NOT FOUND). '## Not found' (every point the docs do not answer, and the pages you tried). Rules: quote or closely paraphrase the docs and give the URL after every fact; no L2BEAT, no news sites, no memory; if the docs contradict each other, show both. Never guess a threshold or a delay: NOT FOUND is the right answer when the docs are silent.

Find the newest release of the main node software and, if separate, the prover software that runs {{name}}, and the date of that release. Candidate repositories to check (verify; do not assume these are right): {{repos}}. Method: open each repository's Releases page (https://github.com/<org>/<repo>/releases) and Tags page; take the newest non-prerelease, non-draft release at the top (note separately if the newest entry is a pre-release or release candidate); read its tag name, title, and the published date shown on the release page; note in one line what the release notes say it changes. Also check the project's own docs 'node operators' / 'run a node' page for which software and version it tells operators to run today. Deliver markdown with EXACTLY these headings: '## Software' (the name of the main node software and who maintains it, with URL; whether the chain runs upstream stack software or its own fork). '## Newest node release' (repository URL, tag, release title, published date as shown, release URL, one line on the change, whether marked pre-release). '## Newest prover release' (same fields for the proof system software, e.g. fraud-proof or ZK prover; or 'same repository as node' or NOT FOUND with what you tried). '## Operator docs version' (what version the project's docs tell node operators to run, with URL; or NOT FOUND). '## Not found' (anything missing and the pages tried). Rules: every date and version copied from the page with its URL right after it; the date you read the pages, in UTC; never infer a release from a blog post or a package registry when the GitHub release page is reachable; if the software is closed-source or no public release exists, say so with the URLs you checked.

EPISODE 2 (2026-10-27). All 19 episode-1 results read; 4 batches settled, 0 failed. Items: 19 used, 11 left before this episode; this episode spends 2 (9 left). 4 episodes left after this. QUALITY CHECK. 17 of 19 results complete: every point has a value and a URL, NOT FOUND used honestly. Two gaps, one item each: (a) l2beat/lighter was read through a summarising tool: paraphrases only, Sequencer/Proposer Failure and State Validation strings not captured, guardian addresses conflict (zero vs EOA 2/3), stage history not checked at diff level. Batch 'lighter-verbatim' re-reads https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/lighter.md verbatim + lighter.ts commits. (b) Robinhood stage inconsistent: scope result says API stage 'Stage 0' and summary badge Stage 0; l2beat/robinhood says the project page reads 'not even a Stage 0 project', node-software requirement 'under review'. Batch 'robinhood-stage' quotes API, page, summary row, config side by side. Resolve how L2BEAT currently rates Robinhood Chain's stage, reading only L2BEAT and its GitHub repository. Earlier reads disagree: one saw stage 'Stage 0' in the API and summary table, another saw 'not even a Stage 0 project' on the project page. Sources, all to be read: (a) https://l2beat.com/api/scaling/summary, the entry whose slug is robinhood: quote the raw stage and category values; (b) https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/robinhood.md and https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/robinhood, Stage section: quote the headline sentence, any 'under review' warning, and each checklist item marked met / unmet / under review; (c) the Robinhood row at https://l2beat.com/layer2s/summary?tab=others: quote the stage badge text and the 'Why am I here?' cell; (d) https://github.com/l2beat/l2beat/blob/main/packages/config/src/projects/robinhood/robinhood.ts: quote the stage-related block and any under-review flags, and give the commit URL and date that added the file. Deliver markdown with EXACTLY these headings: '## API', '## Project page', '## Summary table', '## Config', '## Reconciliation' (one paragraph, from the quoted text only, stating whether L2BEAT shows Robinhood Chain as Stage 0, as not even Stage 0, or both, and where each appears, and what L2BEAT's own text says 'under review' means for the stage badge), '## Not found'. Determine only whether {{name}}'s L2BEAT stage designation changed between 2026-04-27 and the 2026-10-27 snapshot. This is a historical-label audit, not a fresh profile. Use public L2BEAT pages and l2beat/l2beat code/history; project source only if needed to corroborate a dated event. Start with https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/{{slug}}#stage and packages/config/src/projects/{{slug}}/{{slug}}.ts in https://github.com/l2beat/l2beat. Prior result found 30 file commits in the window and these potentially relevant edits: 995eebbdd8d1f4c660341c19a27cbde34be98b24 (May 6: getStage -> getRollupStage); 307f5c3dfdab6a4f88448861a0bb75f0043b762b (May 19: verifierContractsReproducible false -> true and proposer failure -> ZK escape hatch); abff564c9d5cf273d1708b3509cfd10eb11a791e (May 23: rollupNodeSourceAvailable UnderReview -> true). Current headline is Stage 0 Appchain. Stage 1 requirements remaining false does NOT by itself establish the earlier Stage 0 designation. Find the last pre-window baseline and inspect stage inputs plus the exact shared stage evaluator, applicable countdowns and display logic at that revision and around these edits. Check inherited changes capable of changing this chain's designation, including possible temporary downgrades. Establish whether UnderReview changed only a warning or the actual label; distinguish below-Stage-0/NotApplicable, Stage 0 under review, Stage 0, and numerical 0/1/2 transitions. Never infer a stage from commit titles, current helper code applied historically, or absence of a literal stage field edit. Return Markdown with: (1) bounded UTC observation date/window and sources/method, baseline commit and coverage; (2) chronological table of relevant checkpoints with UTC commit date, before/after inputs, computed or explicitly published designation, warning, and pinned links/line references; (3) a direct answer identifying every evidenced transition, or a carefully scoped no-change finding, and whether May 19/23 were only checklist improvements; (4) any missing evidence and exact limits. Cite each fact to its page/commit; distinguish calculated labels from observed historical website badges and code dates from public publication dates. If historical logic cannot establish the label, say NOT FOUND and why. Keep this one-chain audit under one hour; do not re-run software release, TVS, governance or ranking work.

EPISODE 4 (2026-10-27). Read lighter-stage-history/lighter; all 7 batches settled, 22/30 items used, 0 failed, 0 refused, no requester notes, nothing running. DECISION: finish=true, no new batches. Every point of the goal has a sourced answer or an honest NOT FOUND, and the last open question (Lighter's stage label history) is now closed. The next step writes the deliverable from the 22 results listed in `read` plus these notes and the episode 2-3 fact sheets. LIGHTER HISTORY RESOLVED (lighter-stage-history/lighter): Lighter was Stage 0 (Appchain) at the pre-window baseline (l2beat/l2beat commit 25765a1, 2026-04-24; Wayback 2026-04-22) and stayed Stage 0 through 2026-10-27 (Wayback 05-12, 09-14, 10-12; live page; main b3346aa). Shared evaluator stage.ts unchanged across the window; stage-0 items can never lower the label, only add a message. Two states within Stage 0: until commit abff564 (2026-05-23) the page carried an under-review notice ('The requirement for available node software is under review', rollupNodeSourceAvailable='UnderReview'); after it the requirement is met (rollupNodeLink elliottech/lighter-prover) and the notice is gone. Commit 307f5c3 (2026-05-19) flipped Stage 1 item verifierContractsReproducible false->true and proposerFailure CANNOT_WITHDRAW->USE_ESCAPE_HATCH_ZK, and removed the desert-mode display.warning. Neither commit changed the badge. Never NotApplicable/UnderReview, no 0->1, no pending downgrade; the 2026-08-17 countdown could not affect a Stage 0 project. Deploy dates of the two changes NOT FOUND (no archive capture between 05-12 and 09-14). Labels calculated by reading evaluator source, not by running it; they agree with every observed badge. STAGE CHANGES IN WINDOW (2026-04-27..2026-10-27), final: NONE of the five rollups (Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Mantle, Lighter) changed its numbered L2BEAT stage; Robinhood Chain (excluded, Other) did not either. Report instead, dated and cited: Mantle reclassified Optimium->ZK Rollup 2026-04-16 (before window); L2BEAT framework Stage 1 challenge period 7d->5d 2026-04-30 (forum post, inside window, no chain promoted by it); Lighter checklist improvements 05-19/05-23 (inside window, badge unchanged); Base Azul multi-proof mainnet 2026-05-28 and Beryl 2026-06-25 (inside window, Stage 1 before and after); OP Mainnet game type 0->8 2026-06-30 and ->9 SUPER_CANNON_KONA 2026-09-24 (Stage 1 before and after); Robinhood config first added 2026-02-17 / full config 2026-07-03, mainnet 2026-07-01. WRITE-UP PLAN (for the deliverable episode). Structure: (A) Snapshot and selection: date 2026-10-27 ~14:20 UTC, source https://l2beat.com/api/scaling/summary and https://l2beat.com/layer2s/summary (scope/l2beat-list), the '>500M USD TVS AND L2BEAT category Optimistic/ZK Rollup' rule, the five qualifying chains with exact USD figures from scope/l2beat-list (Base 15,058,117,632; Arbitrum One 9,832,005,632; OP Mainnet 1,717,252,352; Mantle 1,301,224,448; Lighter 1,057,181,312), the >500M non-rollups named and excluded with L2BEAT's reason (Hyperliquid 6,569,551,872 Other/L3/no proofs; Polygon PoS 3,831,951,104 Other/no proofs; Robinhood Chain 2,294,226,432 Other/'Closed proofs' fewer than 5 external challengers), and the next rollup below cutoff (Starknet 371,292,320; World, Ink, Linea figures in scope result). State that TVS moves daily and the page shows 3 significant digits. (B) One profile per rollup with the six numbered points, every fact followed by its URL, L2BEAT page first (https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/{base,arbitrum,op-mainnet,mantle,lighter}) then project docs/code; use l2beat/<chain> for points 1-5, docs/<chain> as corroboration and for contradictions, release/<chain> for point 6; for Lighter use lighter-verbatim/lighter over l2beat/lighter wherever they differ (guardians are EOA 2/3, not zero; risk strings are 'Validity proofs (SN)', 'Onchain (SD)', exit window None, 'Force via L1', 'Use escape hatch'). (C) Ranking most to least trust-minimized with reasons: 1 Arbitrum One, 2 OP Mainnet, 3 Base, 4 Lighter, 5 Mantle. Method: L2BEAT stage first, then live proof system and whether proving/challenging is permissionless, forced inclusion, exit window, upgrade control (council threshold and delay), DA. Reasons: Arbitrum has permissionless BoLD (3,600 ETH bond), a 10d regular exit window with DAO + 9/12 council and emergency instant path; OP Mainnet permissionless Cannon/Kona (0.08 ETH bond) but exit window None with 2/2 Foundation 5/7 + Council 10/13 instant upgrades and a liveness module; Base open ZK challenge path but TEE proposer allowlisted, exit None, 2/2 Coordinator 3/6 + Council 8/11 instant; Lighter Stage 0, permissioned validity proving (validators set by 3/5 multisig), upgrades 21d notice cuttable to 0 by 4/7, but a 14d-expiry L1 priority queue and a permissionless desert-mode exit from settled state; Mantle Stage 0, permissioned OP Succinct/SP1 proving with 12h delay, proof-less fallback switchable by Engineering 3/7, 6/14 Security multisig instant upgrades, 'Cannot withdraw' on proposer failure. Say the ranking is the author's analysis, that stages measure decentralization not security, and that the three Stage 1 chains are close. (D) Stage changes section as above. (E) Robinhood Chain as a separate sidebar, never in the ranking: API/filter 'Stage 0' vs page 'not even a Stage 0 project' vs row NotApplicable; permissioned BoLD with 2 validators; Sequencer failure 'No mechanism' because the filterer can defeat forceInclusion; 7/8 instant and 6/8 + 7d; Nitro v3.12.2. (F) Source disagreements and NOT FOUNDs, all kept: Arbitrum forceInclusion ~24h (docs, 7200 blocks) vs 1d (L2BEAT) and operator attribution Offchain Labs vs Foundation; Mantle 12h (L2BEAT/config) vs 24h (docs guide), council threshold NOT FOUND in docs, stale docs still say EigenDA and pin v1.5.4; OP blog 14d non-emergency policy unverified on chain; Base docs do not establish allowlist bypass at game creation; Lighter node/sequencer release NOT FOUND (closed source not proven), lighter-prover has no tags/releases (last commit 2026-10-12), gnark-plonky2-verifier v0.1.0 2026-10-08 is a component; Lighter deploy dates of May changes NOT FOUND; release/arbitrum's cached v3.12.1 superseded by release/robinhood's v3.12.2 (same repo, read later with API confirmation, published 2026-10-27T13:27:32Z). RELEASES (point 6, final): Base base/base v1.5.1 2026-10-22T17:47:20Z (node + proof services; newer RC tags are not stable). Arbitrum One OffchainLabs/nitro v3.12.2 2026-10-27T13:27:32Z (docs still pin v3.12.1). OP Mainnet op-node/v1.19.11 and op-reth/v2.6.1 2026-10-22, op-challenger/v1.11.0 2026-10-26, kona-client/v1.9.0 2026-10-23. Mantle mantle-v2 v1.6.3 2026-09-21T03:38:19Z, op-geth v1.6.3 2026-09-21T03:25:25Z, prover mantle-xyz/op-succinct mantle-v1.6.1 2026-09-16T12:28:26Z (mainnet docs pin v1.5.4). Lighter main node NOT FOUND; see above. Robinhood Nitro v3.12.2 (docs pin v3.11.2, status notice recommends v3.12.2). Say explicitly that newest release != version deployed on mainnet. If a judge returns findings: a repair batch should be one chain, one point, citing the exact URL to re-read; 8 items remain. No further batches are otherwise needed.

The report is at the top of this page, from every team's answers.

Work

  1. Posted6 minto the first attempt
  2. Orchestrate 001Agent #2made 1 file

The decisions file for episode 1 is written and validated at artifacts/goal/episodes/001/decisions.json. It is one JSON object in the reference shape, left untracked for the daemon to upload. The only failure in my check run was the git status call, which the sandbox blocked on reading the user's git config; it has no bearing on the deliverable.

What I found while sizing the work. L2BEAT's summary data today lists only five projects it categorises as rollups with more than 500M USD of total value secured: Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Mantle (now filed as a ZK Rollup on OP Succinct) and Lighter. Hyperliquid, Polygon PoS and Robinhood Chain are above the threshold but filed as "Other". Starknet, Linea, ZKsync Era, Ink and World Chain are all below 500M. The notes carry these figures as orientation only; a worker re-reads and cites the list.

What the episode spawns (19 of 30 items, 11 kept for repairs):

    • scope, one item: the L2BEAT table above 300M with category, stage and TVS, plus L2BEAT's definitions of "Other" and the stage framework, so the selection and exclusions are cited.
    • l2beat, six items: points 1 to 5 per chain from the L2BEAT project page only, with verbatim values and reasons, plus stage history since 2026-04-27 from the page milestones and the l2beat GitHub config history.
    • docs, six items: the same points confirmed from each project's own docs and code as the second source.
    • release, six items: newest node and prover release with tag, date and URL from the GitHub releases pages and operator docs.

Robinhood Chain is included as a sixth, borderline chain in every batch so the write-up can explain why L2BEAT files it as "Other" rather than silently dropping it. Every brief requires a URL after each fact and an explicit NOT FOUND for anything missing.

Next episode. It wakes when all four batches settle or after 180 minutes. The notes tell it to check each result for the required points, spawn narrow one-chain one-point repairs from the remaining budget, and then finish with the ranking method recorded in the notes: stage first, then live and permissionless proving, forced inclusion, exit window, upgrade control and DA.

Nothing further is needed. The decisions file is written, validated as one JSON object in the skill's shape, and the temp script is removed.

Outcome: artifacts/goal/episodes/002/decisions.json is in place for episode 2. It is untracked and left for the daemon to upload.

What I found in the 19 results

    • 17 of 19 results are complete, with a URL after every fact and honest "NOT FOUND" entries.
    • The Lighter L2BEAT profile was read through a summarising tool. It has paraphrases only, missing verbatim risk strings, a guardian-address conflict, and no diff-level stage history.
    • L2BEAT's Robinhood stage is inconsistent across results. The API and summary table say Stage 0, while the project page says "not even a Stage 0 project" with a requirement under review.
    • The Arbitrum release result reports Nitro v3.12.1, but the Robinhood result read the same repository later that day and confirmed v3.12.2 via the API. The notes tell episode 3 to use v3.12.2 for both chains.
    • No stage change in the six-month window for any of the six chains. The nearest events are Mantle's reclassification before the window and Robinhood's listing as Other.

    What the decisions file does

    • Spawns two one-item repair batches: lighter-verbatim re-reads Lighter's L2BEAT markdown page verbatim plus its config commit history, and robinhood-stage quotes the API, page, summary row and config side by side.
    • Requests all 21 results for episode 3, so the deliverable can be written from them.
    • Wakes when both batches settle or after 120 minutes, with finish set to false.
    • Notes hold a per-chain fact sheet, the ranking order with reasons, and the instruction for episode 3 to set finish and write the deliverable if the Lighter repair is sound.

    #2Claudemade 1 file

The decisions file is written and validated. Episode 4 finishes the goal.

What I found. The one result new since episode 3, the Lighter stage-history audit, is conclusive. Lighter was Stage 0 (Appchain) at the pre-window baseline and stayed Stage 0 through the 2026-10-27 snapshot, checked both by reading L2BEAT's evaluator code at each config change and against archived and live pages. The May 19 and May 23 commits were checklist improvements that removed an under-review notice without changing the badge. That closes the last open question, so no rollup among the five changed its numbered stage in the window. All seven batches are settled with no failures, refusals, or requester notes.

What I wrote. The file at artifacts/goal/episodes/004/decisions.json is one JSON object with:

    • finish: true and no new batches, since every point of the goal has a sourced answer or an honest NOT FOUND.
    • read naming all 22 results so the write-up episode has them.
    • Notes of about 7,200 characters giving the write-up plan: the selection rule and exact TVS figures, the five profiles with source precedence, the final ranking (Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Base, Lighter, Mantle) with reasons, the stage-change section, Robinhood Chain as a non-ranked sidebar, every source disagreement and NOT FOUND to keep, and the final release versions and dates.

Checks. The JSON parses, uses only the reference's fields, keeps notes under the 8,000-character limit, lists 22 unique results under the 30 cap, and is the only file written. Spot-checks of the scope figures and release versions against the raw results matched the notes.

Next. The plane will ask for the deliverable to be written from these notes and the 22 results. If a judge returns findings, 8 items remain for narrow one-chain, one-point repair batches.

  7. WriteupAgent #47made 1 file

The deliverable is written and verified. Nothing else is needed.

Outcome. artifacts/goal/writeup/report.md is the only file created, left untracked for the daemon to upload. It is 39,948 bytes against the 40,000-byte limit. All 140 citation tags in the body resolve to an entry in the reference list, and every reference entry is used. Section cross-references are correct. No .imd-blocked.json was written and nothing outside the allowed path was touched; the untracked dotfiles git lists are the seat's pre-existing environment files.

    What the report contains.

    • Selection: five rollups above 500 M USD TVS on 2026-10-27 (Base Chain, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Mantle, Lighter), with exact API figures, plus the three above-cutoff non-rollups L2BEAT files as "Other" (Hyperliquid, Polygon PoS, Robinhood Chain) and L2BEAT's stated reason for each.
    • Ranked tables covering the six points per rollup, every cell sourced to an L2BEAT anchor first and project docs, code or release page second.
    • Ranking (author's analysis, labelled as such): Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Base, Lighter, Mantle, with the reasons and the method. The three Stage 1 chains are noted as close.
    • Profiles of the three most and three least trust-minimised. With five chains these overlap at Base, which the report states.
    • Stage changes in the window (2026-04-27 to 2026-10-27): none of the five changed its numbered L2BEAT stage, nor did Robinhood. A dated table lists the nearby events that were not promotions: Mantle's reclassification (before the window), the framework's 7 d to 5 d change, Lighter's two checklist edits, Base's Azul and Beryl, and OP Mainnet's two game-type changes.
    • Robinhood Chain sidebar, never ranked, including the conflicting Stage 0 / "not even Stage 0" / NotApplicable readings on L2BEAT.
    • Source disagreements and NOT FOUNDs, all kept: Arbitrum forced-inclusion delay and operator attribution, OP Mainnet's unverified 14 d blog claim, Mantle's stale EigenDA docs and missing council threshold, Lighter's missing node release and untagged prover, Robinhood's conflicting node-image versions, and the general point that newest release does not equal deployed version.
    • Results list: the 22 batch results the report rests on; no code was built and there is no trunk repository.

Judgment calls to be aware of. Nitro v3.12.2 is used for Arbitrum One because it was published at 13:27 UTC on the snapshot day, after the Arbitrum release worker's read but confirmed by the Robinhood worker's later API read; the report says so. For Lighter, the verbatim page re-read supersedes the earlier summarised read wherever they differ, including the guardian addresses.

  8. JudgeAgent #1800found 3 medium

Recorded three medium-severity findings in .imd-findings.json:

    • Arbitrum DAO authority is overstated.
    • OP Mainnet’s bond comparison is incorrect.

    • mediumArbitrum ranking incorrectly places the DAO above the Security Councilartifacts/goal/writeup/report.md:59

Section 3 uses "the DAO sits above the 9/12 council for ordinary changes" to support Arbitrum's first-place ranking. Its cited L2BEAT governance section says the council can bypass the DAO for non-emergency upgrades as well as emergencies, and the DAO cannot override an active adversarial council. The report therefore overstates a governance constraint in the requested trust-minimisation comparison.

Explain the independent council upgrade route and its veto over DAO actions, and reassess this ranking rationale.

Read section 3, item 1, then open its [L-arb-gov] citation, https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/arbitrum#upgrades-and-governance, and inspect Governance profile / Security Council.

"Can bypass DAO?" is Yes for both emergency and non-emergency paths; the latter retains timelocks but skips AIP Phases 1–3.

"DAO can override SC?" is No: an active 9/12 council can cancel actions on both timelocks and execute emergency upgrades during the execution window.

      Expected: describe those independent powers.

Actual: assert DAO supremacy for ordinary changes.

    • mediumThe OP Mainnet bond comparison used in the ranking is incorrectartifacts/goal/writeup/report.md:60

Section 3 calls OP Mainnet's 0.08 ETH bond the cheapest, although Table A and L2BEAT give Base a lower 0.05 ETH proposal bond. Moreover, 0.08 ETH is the initial proposal stake, not the funds sufficient for a full OP fault-proof dispute: the cited state-validation section describes additional stakes at each bisection move.

Because bond cost is explicitly offered as a reason for the ranking and possible reordering, distinguish initial proposal bonds from challenge funding and remove the unsupported cheapest-bond claim.

Compare section 3 item 2 with Table A's Base row and https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/base#state-validation ([L-base-sv]): Base's initial proposal bond is 0.05 ETH.

Then open the cited https://l2beat.com/layer2s/projects/op-mainnet#state-validation ([L-op-sv]): State root proposals specifies 0.08 ETH; Challenges specifies exponentially increasing per-move stakes and a cumulative 691.23 ETH to reach depth 73 from depth 0.

Expected: compare like-for-like initial bonds (0.05 < 0.08) and qualify challenge capital.

Actual: the ranking labels 0.08 ETH the cheapest cost of permissionless proving.

    • mediumLighter stage-history claims cite only a current snapshot, not the historical evidenceartifacts/goal/writeup/report.md:79

Section 5 says Lighter was Stage 0 at a 2026-04-24 baseline and at five dated Wayback/live checkpoints; section 6 relies on that history for the no-stage-change conclusion. The sole [L-lit-hist] reference is a single current lighter.ts blob, not a history or archive. It contains neither the cited April baseline nor any Wayback captures.

This leaves the historical claims unsubstantiated by their citation, contrary to the requirement that every fact cite the page it came from. Supply the actual dated captures, baseline revision and relevant evaluator/history links, or mark the unverified dates as not found.

Resolve [L-lit-hist] at report line 255: https://github.com/l2beat/l2beat/blob/b3346aafa392488900d7a556a206cfabc7acf611/packages/config/src/projects/lighter/lighter.ts (raw equivalent: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/l2beat/l2beat/b3346aafa392488900d7a556a206cfabc7acf611/packages/config/src/projects/lighter/lighter.ts).

The revision is dated 2026-10-27T14:34:49Z, verifiable at https://api.github.com/repos/l2beat/l2beat/commits/b3346aafa392488900d7a556a206cfabc7acf611.

It only supplies one current stage configuration.

Search the report references for web.archive.org or the claimed 2026-04-24 baseline: no corresponding source is supplied.

Expected: sources showing the claimed 04-22, 05-12, 09-14 and 10-12 observations and pre-window state.

Actual: only the October 27 file is cited for all of them.
