WEBSITE: Sorphera - coherent 360-degree plush globes and draw countdowns

Update the EXISTING website; preserve newer work.

PR #7: https://github.com/identity-md-launches/launch-961-build-sorphera-smart-contracts/pull/7

Demo: https://sorphera-a-world-of-possibility.sites.imd.fun/

ONE Website task. Keep Sorphera and "Weekly ETH & NFT lottery ball jackpots. Powered by FWA.", ice-blue wording, pink accents, USD, budgets, buy-12-get-1 Passport and the Atlas teaser.

  1. FINISH THE ENTIRE PLUSH GLOBE

The user wants the SAME plush globe all the way around. Preserve PR #7's improved front; fix the rear/side material change.

Evidence:

  • web/scripts/plush-materials.py mirrors one small felt swatch across the unseen hemisphere.
  • web/public/brand/plush/albedo.webp has a photographic middle and visibly tiled, darker outer areas.
  • web/evidence/revision/plush-comparison.jpg shows the defect at 90, 135 and 180 degrees.

Use existing references: web/public/brand/sorphera-brand-board-ice-blue.webp, eth-ball.webp, nft-ball.webp and web/artwork/plush-source.webp. Originals:

Preserve the approved front. Complete one coherent 360-degree object: matching felt fibres/scale, ice-blue ocean, raised pink applique continents, rounded edges/contact shadows, stitched panel seams, soft silhouette and lighting on front, sides, back and poles. Natural shading is fine; a different material or colour is not. Apply the same standard to the pink/cream bonus in BOTH games.

Remove mirror tiling, kaleidoscope/diamond patterns, flat rear continents and the transition into the photographed front. Recolouring the tiled back is insufficient. Use coherent materials/relief and non-repeating, seamlessly blended textures. Keep ONE padded cream badge with dynamic black digits attached to the curved front; do not duplicate it around the globe.

Fix the maps and generation recipe, preserving renderer/API/caches where possible. Allow necessary renderer fixes. Rebuilding must not restore the defect.

Preserve badge-away entry, smooth rotation/deceleration, stop, number callout, hold and travel to slot. Never conceal the back with faster motion, a cut, an image swap or a flat-disc flip. Keep one asset family across picker, stage, slots, baskets, receipts and fallbacks. Preserve performance, pause/resume/replay/skip, muted-default audio, reduced motion and gated announcements/results.

  1. DISPLAY BOTH SALES CUTOFF AND DRAW TIMING

Verified gap: Home, Play and receipts show a cutoff countdown. The frontend Round type and ContractAdapter omit earliestDraw although the contract returns it. Draw Room defaults to a round-41 sample replay with no upcoming schedule.

Preserve contract semantics:

  • Purchases require block.timestamp < round.cutoff. Sales stop at cutoff even before close() runs.
  • earliestDraw = cutoff + the round's frozen drawDelay.
  • earliestDraw is the earliest REQUEST time, not guaranteed availability of winning numbers. FWA reconciliation must finish; randomness must be requested, fulfilled and finalized. NFT ties may need another request.
  • ETH/NFT schedules are independent. Client clocks never select results or authorize purchases.

Carry existing timing fields through the frontend model/adapter. Display authoritative round data; no Solidity or ABI change is needed for this.

DEMO schedule: retain existing cutoff anchors, ETH Sunday 00:00 UTC and NFT Sunday 01:00 UTC. Add an explicit illustrative 30-minute gap to each draw-window opening. This is a prototype choice, not a production policy or result-time guarantee. Label the schedule simulated. Keep a round's timestamps stable across navigation/reload; do not reset its deadline into the future. Later demo rounds need distinct identities. Preserve existing records safely.

Each game/round should show: "Ticket sales close in [countdown]" + exact date/time.

"Draw window opens in [countdown]" + exact date/time.

"Numbers follow once the prize pool and draw are confirmed. Delays are possible."

Use "Draw scheduled for" only if a separate presentation schedule is explicitly supplied. Never relabel earliestDraw as guaranteed showtime or use cutoff as draw time. Show missing schedule data honestly.

Use local time with an explicit time zone and UTC timestamps internally. Show days/hours/minutes, adding seconds for the final hour. Timers must recover after tab suspension and never go negative.

Make both times obvious beside homepage jackpots, on Play/checkout, receipts, My tickets and Draw Room. Give the upcoming draw countdown visual priority in Draw Room. Keep mobile cards compact. Earlier "no countdown pressure" guidance means no sales-pressure gimmicks; factual schedule timers are required.

  1. AN UPCOMING-DRAW JOURNEY

Default Draw Room to upcoming rounds with an ETH/NFT switch, round identity, both times and status. Keep past/sample replays clearly separate and preserve direct replay links/scenarios.

"View your draw" must open the ticket's exact game and round. Never silently open another round or present invented results for an open round. Optional fixture previews remain explicitly labelled simulations.

Use shared, state-aware timing across pages:

  • Before cutoff: entries open, both times visible.
  • At cutoff: disable paid/reward confirmation, show "Entries closed", preserve drafts/unused rewards. Recheck at confirmation; an old open modal must not succeed.
  • Before earliestDraw: countdown to the draw window.
  • Once the window opens without results: show the known state, such as "Preparing the prize pool" or "Waiting for the draw result". Do not claim randomness was requested unless known.
  • With confirmed results: enable the existing reveal experience. Demo fixtures remain labelled simulated.
  • NFT tie-break, rollover, cancellation and paused sales have accurate states.

A timer reaching zero must never fabricate results, announce a winner, reopen sales, reset a deadline or show a misleading LIVE badge.

Add a clearly named calendar action for the draw-window opening, including the exact game/round link and delay caveat. Keep any sales-closing reminder separately named. Do not relabel the current cutoff calendar event as a draw appointment.

  1. ACCEPTANCE

Provide reference/front/side/back comparisons at actual picker and draw sizes for blue and pink. Include a full-turn contact sheet at 45-degree intervals and a normal-speed 25+ fps clip through entry, turn, stop and landing. Inspect the back as closely as the front, in WebGL and software fallback. Front screenshots alone cannot prove this fixed.

Check desktop/390px mobile, keyboard and reduced motion. Use controlled clocks to test cutoff with an open checkout, draw-window opening, delayed result, NFT tie-break, sales pause, tab resume, reload, game/round links and distinct calendar events. Closed/delayed states must preserve Pa

Saved three verified findings in .imd-findings.json. Website files remain unchanged.

    • High — fidelity: WebGL poles retain radial texture fans. Both palettes show stretched, smooth spokes instead of consistent felt. Correct polar texture filtering; the software comparison and a filter-only browser diagnostic isolate the defect.
    • High — bug: wrapped hero actions hide the first jackpot. At 390×844 with the available fallback font, its amount begins at y=859. Removing the decorative button arrow brings it to y=797.
    • Medium — bug: Play overflows at 320px. Both games produce a 322px-wide page. A shrinkable grid track and min-width: 0 restore correct reflow.

    • highfidelity: WebGL still turns the felt at both poles into a radial fanweb/src/plushModel.ts:279

Now: Both blue/pink and pink/cream globes develop a smooth, spoke-shaped patch around the north and south poles in WebGL. The ordinary felt fibres stretch into a radial fan; the software render does not have the same broad smooth patch. The supplied full-turn evidence already shows it.

Change to: Correct the albedo sampling footprint at the UV poles, using continuous polar coordinates/filtering so mip selection preserves the same fibre scale across the cap. Retain antialiasing, the approved front and the existing animation; regenerate the affected evidence after checking both renderers.

Why: The brief explicitly requires matching felt scale/material on the poles and removal of kaleidoscope patterns across the entire 360-degree object.

At 1560px browser width, run the existing web/tests/plush.mjs comparison harness and inspect its north/south pole rows at the actual 170px draw size (renderPlush(canvas, kind, 0, 7, ±Math.PI/2), kind eth and nft).

Both polar centers have a roughly 45–55px radial patch rather than ordinary felt; see the last two rows of web/evidence/continuity/plush-full-turn.jpg, reproduced independently during this review.

At a 256px inspection size the spokes are unambiguous on all four poles.

Force WebGL off and compare web/evidence/continuity/plush-fallback-full-turn.jpg: the broad smooth fan disappears.

A browser-only diagnostic changing the albedo minification filter from LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR to LINEAR removes the fan, while disabling lighting leaves it intact, isolating the WebGL texture-filtering issue.

Expected: continuous, consistent felt at the poles with neither fan-shaped blur nor a material change.

    • highbug: wrapped hero actions hide the first jackpot below the 390px opening screenweb/src/pages.tsx:31

Now: With the site's available sans-serif fallback, the two hero actions wrap into a 108px-tall stack at 390px. The first jackpot amount begins below the 844px viewport, leaving the opening screen with branding, artwork and only the top of the jackpot card. The primary button itself is visible.

Change to: Remove the decorative arrow span from Make your picks so both actions fit on one row at 390px. This closes 62px of vertical space and moves the first jackpot fully onto the opening screen without changing the required tagline, globe art or action labels. Check the declared font stack with its fallback fonts as well as Arial.

Why: The review requires the product and its main action on the first 390px screen; the builder's own plush test also explicitly asserts that the first jackpot fits below y=844.

Chromium 154.0.8037.0 on this Linux review machine, default fonts (Inter/Arial resolve to DejaVu Sans), clean storage, 390×844: load /#home without scrolling. .hero-actions measures x=20, y=421.016, width=350, height=108.

The first .jackpot-amount h3 spans y=859.078..895.078, entirely below the viewport. web/tests/plush.mjs fails assert.ok(records.layout390.jackpot < 844) on the unchanged export.

Remove only .hero-actions .primary [aria-hidden] in DevTools: the actions become 46px tall and the jackpot spans y=797.078..833.078, fully visible.

Expected: the first jackpot and primary action are visible at the original 390×844 viewport across supported font fallbacks.

    • mediumbug: the Play grid overflows a 320px viewport in both gamesweb/src/styles.css:2038

Now: On the 320px Play page, the single 1fr track retains its content minimum and becomes 305.516px wide inside a 288px container. Both the picker and basket extend past the viewport.

Change to: Use minmax(0, 1fr) for the mobile track and min-width: 0 on .picker-panel and .ticket-slip; allow their contents to wrap within the available width. Do not hide page overflow.

Why: The mobile review requires reflow without horizontal scrolling; the schedule browser check currently fails on this route.

Chromium 154.0.8037.0, 320×844, clean storage, America/New_York time zone: open /#play?game=1 (also reproduces with game=0), wait for the picker, then inspect document.documentElement.scrollWidth and .play-layout.

Actual: scrollWidth 322 versus innerWidth 320; .play-layout is 288px wide but its track and both children are 305.516px, spanning x=16 to x=321.516.

Expected: both cards fit within x=16..304 with no horizontal page scroll. web/tests/schedule.mjs also stops at its "Overflow 320 #play?game=1" assertion.

Applying only the stated grid/min-width rules in DevTools reduces scrollWidth to 320 and both cards to 288px.

All three prior findings are fixed. No new reproducible defect was found. .imd-findings.json contains {"findings":[]}. Website files remain unchanged.

    • Fidelity: polar radial fans — fixed. At 1560px, inspected both palettes at 170px and 256px in WebGL and Canvas. The broad radial blur is gone. Measured WebGL/Canvas detail ratios are 0.621–0.688, matching the author’s reproduction.

    • Bug: Play overflow at 320px — fixed. Both games’ picker and basket measure 288px, spanning x=16–304. Document width is 320px across the tested font fallbacks.

Independent checks passed: 58 unit tests, TypeScript, all 10 schedule flows in both Chromium and WebKit, three reward-checkout checks, and six reveal checks in each renderer. The isolated build matches all 16 submitted export files byte-for-byte; regenerating the recipe produces byte-identical maps.
