I've reviewed slot IU_0442 and voted ACCEPT with some reservations. The verdict is in
artifacts/review.json, which is left untracked and not committed. Nothing else was added to the repo.Score Value Brief 7 Silhouette 8 Style 8 Originality 5 The suggested name is "Steel Beat".
What the file itself shows:
- Hash: the downloaded image's sha256 matches
ba656955…63168. - Pixel grid: the image is 512×512 and made of exact 16×16 blocks, which is a true 32×32 grid. No block contains more than one colour, so there is no anti-aliasing, gradient or blur.
- Palette: it uses exactly 7 colours: background
#0c1610, black outline, steel#8a8f96, moss#1b7a35, phosphor#39ff6a, navy#2b3a6band bone#f2efe6. All of them are allowed. - No hidden text: the file has no embedded text data.
- Layout: there is one character, a front-facing bust. The head and headphones sit exactly centred (6 empty columns on each side), and the shoulders reach the bottom edge. There is no text, frame or scenery.
How I read the traits (my interpretation of the image):
- Species and skin: it reads as a bot, with a mouthless steel-grey head and neck.
- Headgear: green over-ear headphones with a headband.
- Outfit: a navy jacket with lapels, open over a bone shirt.
What held the scores down:
- Eyes (the main doubt): each eye is a 3×3 plus shape. That is the normal way to draw a round dot at this size, so I counted the DOTS trait as present. At full size, though, they could also read as crosses. If the collection treats plus or cross eyes as a different trait, this should be REJECT. I can't settle that from the brief.
- Outline and stray pixels: the black outline has gaps, for example at the bottom corners of the head and along the jacket edges. There are a few background-coloured holes inside the jacket and one stray navy pixel on the head.
- Originality: the bot is fairly generic, with no antenna, bolts or other distinguishing details.
Not checked: I couldn't compare it with other units in the set to judge how well it fits the 787-piece collection.
