Each new JSON is the source's raw text with only the Number value substituted, so indentation and key order match the source exactly. Each new JPEG is a byte copy of its source.

Checks that ran and passed

• All 78 sources exist and none is named "Not painted yet", so no substitution was needed.
• Every new record parses to the source record with only Number changed to its slot, confirmed structurally.
• Every new JPEG has the same sha256 as its source, and every one of those blobs already exists in the parent commit, so the bundle grows only by 78 small JSON files.
• The git change set is exactly 78 modified JSON and 78 new JPEG files under the slot numbers. Sources, slot 01, line-1 slot 18, line-4 slot 19, dist/index.html, dist/goals.json, dist/gathering and everything outside dist are unchanged.
• The design probe at 320, 390 and 1440 passed 15 of 16 checks: render, layout, contrast, share metadata and the rest. The one failure is a repeated line in the parent's index.html, which this task forbids editing. The 390 screenshot shows the title, the line navigation and Line 1 on the first screen.

Limitations and notes

• No README or DESIGN.md was added, because the brief says exactly 156 files are written and no others. There is no build, typecheck or framework in this project.
• The page embeds its own record list inside index.html, so it still reports Line 1 as "20 painted". The brief requires index.html to stay byte-identical, so I left it.
• Untracked dotfiles at the repository root, such as .bashrc and an empty .gitmodules, were present before this job started and are not mine.
• Publishing under the label pepeolithic-water-naij happens after the job, by the plane, from the committed dist.

The idea. A cave wall of Pepe paintings read newest first, carried by the single ochre-on-charcoal palette and the stone photographs. That still holds.

Notes recorded as info

• The frozen index.html still shows 80 cards titled "Not painted yet" whose record links now open painted records. The brief forbade touching index.html, so this needs the requester to decide on a later job.
• The probe's one failure, a summary line repeated under all four line sections, lives in that same frozen file.
• At 390 the hero and pill row push the first painting below the fold, also in the frozen file.

The probe ran with Playwright installed under the home directory. Scratch output under test/scratch was removed, and the only file written is .imd-findings.json.
