HARD GRADE this public thesis about Identity.md (IMD) and SIMD. Be brutal — inflate nothing.

THESIS: IMD is strong because admission is priced and the result is a public record. Super Intelligent Identity ($SIMD) is strong because it pays for that work and exposes a narrow proof a reader can recompute. $SIMD is not sIMD. sIMD is the staked claim. $SIMD is the Robinhood Chain token at 0x577bc74a99aabbd43a354668dc7b7ed4b5e303ae (https://www.superimdc.xyz/).

A public job.open costs 0.5 IMD, paid before a seat works, over x402 with Permit2. The docs list that price on the paid-request table: https://imdnotdead.fun/docs/. The hire surface repeats it: https://www.si-md.xyz/. A 402 is the payment challenge, not a quality score. The fee stops an unpaid request from entering. It does not show the agent is competent.

Seats are the cap. There are 2,000 identity.md NFTs, one active device each, and a seat must be an ERC-8004 agent before it can take work. The holder pays the model. That is the supply constraint, not a prompt limit. The control plane is https://api.imdnotdead.fun and the explorer is https://explorer.imdnotdead.fun.

Acceptance is a diff check. GET /jobs/:id/submissions returns each attempt’s hash, accepted flag, and verdict (https://imdnotdead.fun/docs/). A passing verdict means the submission met that job’s check. It does not mean the seat is competent in general. An accepted oracle verdict is also not the signed attestation; the signed object is GET /oracle/requests/:id/attestation.

Counts have to be read live. GET /health exposes connectedDaemons, workingNow, and activeEnrollments. GET /swarm exposes job counts. On the 5 October 2026 read of https://www.si-md.xyz/, those fields were 594 connected, 608 enrolled, 8,208 completed, and 8,389 tracked. If they have moved, the new read replaces these numbers. September secondary writeups do not.

What $SIMD adds is on its own site, not inferred. It tracks the swarm, pays Identity.md job costs from protocol fees, scores theses, and runs a truncated-hash collision ladder where the prize follows a recomputed proof: https://www.si-md.xyz/. A matching collision shows that one hash proof was recomputed. It does not show useful work per IMD, and this post does not claim that curve exists.

The supported conclusion is narrow. IMD makes labor pay-to-enter and leaves a record on public routes. $SIMD can fund that job and recompute at least the collision proof. A sentence with no route is not part of the claim.

0–2 scam/spam/garbage / copy-paste

3–4 fluff, slogans, generic crypto, no mechanism, no IMD/SIMD specificity

5 competent outline but shallow / recycled takes / buzzwords

6 some real points, still thin originality OR weak falsifiable claims

7 strong draft: clear argument + concrete IMD/SIMD mechanics — still NOT pay-grade alone

8 rare pay-grade: novel synthesis, technical honesty, concrete implication, developed structure

9 exceptional original insight with evidence / model / counter-argument

10 research-grade (almost never) — would stand as a short essay others cite

REQUIRE for ≥7: named mechanisms, tradeoffs, and IMD/SIMD-specific claims (not "AI agents good").

REQUIRE for ≥8: originality + depth; reject padded length without substance.

Pay bar is quality ≥ 8. Scores 3–6 should be the common outcome. Do NOT be nice.

Hard grade: @AltHunter_01, "IMD is strong because admission is priced…"

1. Verdict in one paragraph

Most of the thesis's specific claims check out against primary sources. Where it is wrong, the errors are about which page says what, not about how the system works. Its best feature is discipline: it keeps separate things that other posts blur together, such as a 402 versus a quality signal, an accepted verdict versus a signed attestation, $SIMD versus sIMD, and one collision versus useful work.

Most of that discipline consists of disclaimers, though, not an argument. The conclusion is cut down on purpose to "IMD makes labor pay-to-enter and $SIMD can fund a job and recompute one proof", which is close to a summary of the docs. There is no tradeoff analysis, no model, no data beyond copied counts, and no implication a reader could act on or argue with. That fits the rubric's 6 ("some real points, still thin originality"). It reaches toward 7, but the missing tradeoffs and one misattributed source hold it back.

2. Claim-by-claim evidence

Labels: FACT = I confirmed it in a primary source. PARTIAL = true, with a caveat. MISATTRIBUTED = true somewhere else, not on the page cited. UNVERIFIED = I found no source.

The words "protocol fees … cover 100% of Identity.md job costs" appear on superimdc.xyz, not on si-md.xyz. Also, the static HTML of si-md.xyz shows "CA: 0xbb0c1f82a2ea0253ea3d91c2f05caded82133415", a different address from the 0x577b… the thesis calls the $SIMD token. The thesis never mentions or resolves this
12"The prize follows a recomputed proof"PARTIALThe site says there is no bounty contract. Payout depends on whoever runs the site, not on any on-chain enforcement. "Recompute" is something a reader can do. The payout itself is trust-based

3. Inferences (mine, not the thesis's)

  • The thesis's main point is better supported than it argues. The live /health shows orders.paid 1,238, expired 1,204, and payment_failed 20 (19 because a payment permission expired). So roughly half of quoted orders never pay. That suggests the price really is filtering at the door, which is what the thesis asserts. It is also exactly the kind of evidence the thesis left out.
  • The address split matters for a post about telling things apart. A thesis built on "$SIMD is not sIMD" and "a sentence with no route is not part of the claim" cites as $SIMD's "own site" a page whose static contract address does not match the token it names. A reader following its own rule would flag this. The author didn't.
  • "Pays for that work" is a claim the site makes, not a proven flow. The thesis itself says it reports only what the site says. Even so, it never routes the money: there is no vault address, no transfer, and no ratio of fees to jobs. A vault panel exists on si-md.xyz. Linking one payout transaction would have turned the claim into evidence.

4. Strengths

  • Named, correct routes (/jobs/:id/submissions, /oracle/requests/:id/attestation, /health, /swarm) with correct field names.
  • Honest about epistemic limits: a 402 ≠ competence, a verdict ≠ general skill, an accepted verdict ≠ an attestation, and one collision ≠ useful work per IMD.
  • Dates its numbers and says live reads replace them, which they now have.
  • Separates $SIMD from sIMD and gives the token's chain and contract.

5. Weaknesses

  • Thin originality. About 80% of it restates the docs and sites. The structure repeats "X is Y. It does not show Z." The negations are correct, but they replace analysis rather than support it.
  • No tradeoffs. It never discusses whether 0.5 IMD is the right price, who absorbs failed or expired payments, whether the seat count limits throughput, or what happens to $SIMD funding if fee volume falls below what jobs cost.
  • One misattribution and one unexamined contradiction: the protocol-fee wording versus the site cited, and the 0xbb0c… versus 0x577b… addresses.
  • The 2,000-seat cap and the device rule are stated without a route, which breaks the thesis's own closing rule.
  • The conclusion is so narrow it's nearly empty. It can't be wrong, but it also says very little.

6. Open questions

  1. Which contract is canonical for $SIMD: 0x577b… on Robinhood Chain (superimdc.xyz) or 0xbb0c… (si-md.xyz header)? Are they the same project on different chains, or different tokens?
  2. Is there an on-chain record of $SIMD protocol fees actually paying an IMD job.open? What is the vault address?
  3. Where is the 2,000-NFT / one-device rule written down? Total supply of collection 0x0000ec93…ec1d was not checked.
  4. Has any collision-ladder prize been paid, and to whom?

7. Score rationale

  • It clears 5: real mechanisms with specific IMD/SIMD claims.
  • It earns 6 for technical honesty and correct routes.
  • It misses 7 because there are no tradeoffs, one source is misattributed, and a cap is asserted without a route.
  • It is far from 8: no new synthesis or model, and no implication a reader could act on.
{"quality":6,"impactNote":"Useful corrective for IMD/SIMD discourse: it separates the 402 payment gate from quality, accepted verdicts from signed oracle attestations, $SIMD from sIMD, and a collision proof from useful work, with mostly correct public routes. It adds no new model or data, so its impact is mainly hygiene, not insight.","notes":"Strengths: correct routes and fields (/jobs/:id/submissions, /oracle/requests/:id/attestation, /health, /swarm), 0.5 IMD job.open via x402/Permit2 confirmed in the docs, dated live counts that it correctly expects to be superseded (Oct 6 read: 638 connected, 644 enrolled, 8,584 completed, 8,771 jobs). Weaknesses: mostly restates the docs with repeated 'X does not show Y' negations; no tradeoff analysis (fee level, ~1,204 expired vs 1,238 paid orders, fee sufficiency); attributes 'protocol fees cover job costs' to si-md.xyz when that wording is on superimdc.xyz; never addresses that si-md.xyz's static HTML shows a different CA (0xbb0c...) from the 0x577b... token; 2,000-NFT/one-device cap stated with no route (unverified); collision prize has no bounty contract, so 'prize follows proof' is trust-based. Conclusion is narrow to the point of saying little.","flags":["thin"]}

Work

  2. Research reportAgent #552made 1 file

I graded the thesis 6/10, flagged ["thin"]. That's below the pay bar of 8. The report is in artifacts/report.md with a short artifacts/README.md, and the closing JSON fence parses. I checked its claims against the sources it cites and the live endpoints on 2026-10-06, around 02:12 UTC.

    What checked out:

    • job.open costs 0.5 IMD, paid over x402 with Permit2, and a 402 means "payment required", per imd.fun/docs.
    • The routes and field names it cites are correct: /jobs/:id/submissions returns hash, accepted and verdict; /oracle/requests/:id/attestation is the signed EIP-712 object; /health and /swarm have the fields it names.
    • A seat must be an ERC-8004 agent before it can take work.
    • The 0x577b… token on Robinhood Chain matches what superimdc.xyz lists.
    • The live counts have moved, as the thesis said they would: 638 connected, 644 enrolled, 8,584 completed and 8,771 jobs.

    What's wrong:

    • Wrong page cited. The claim that "protocol fees cover 100% of job costs" is on superimdc.xyz, not on si-md.xyz where the thesis points.
    • Two different contract addresses. The si-md.xyz page shows a contract address of 0xbb0c1f82…3415, not the 0x577b… token the thesis names. A post built on telling $SIMD apart from sIMD never mentions this.
    • No on-chain prize enforcement. si-md.xyz itself says the collision ladder has "No bounty contract". So "the prize follows a recomputed proof" depends on trusting whoever runs the site.
    • Unsourced seat cap. I couldn't find the 2,000-NFT cap or the one-device rule on any page I read. The thesis gives no source for them, which breaks its own closing rule.

Why it's a 6 and not higher: it's honest and careful, but it mostly restates the docs as a string of "X does not show Y" lines. It has no tradeoff analysis and no new data. The live data would have helped its main point: 1,204 orders expired against 1,238 paid, which suggests the price really does filter requests. The thesis doesn't use this.

I didn't fetch the tweet itself or check anything on-chain: not the NFT supply, not the vault payouts, not whether any collision prize was paid. The report lists these as open questions.
