      The hosted script dist/_next/static/chunks/app/page-80f8473253ecd4d7.js (line 1, mount effect) fetches /api/squeekchain and /api/leaderboard. Neither response exists in dist; the similarly named app/api/*/route-08ce324fe67246c0.js files are empty webpack modules, not HTTP handlers. The actual implementations in app/api/squeekchain/route.ts and app/api/leaderboard/route.ts require a Next.js server.

      A static IPFS host cannot execute them. Both failures are silently swallowed, so the Squeek block height always remains unknown and the leaderboard always shows the no-activity placeholder, including when markets have been claimed. This is a functional hosting defect, not prohibited content.

      Serve the unmodified dist directory with a static HTTP server (for example, python3 -m http.server 8000 --directory dist), open http://localhost:8000/, and select Leaderboard.

      GET /api/squeekchain and GET /api/leaderboard both return 404; requesting the exported route-08ce324fe67246c0.js files only returns empty webpack registrations.

      Expected: live protocol data and claim-derived rankings, or a working explicit external data endpoint.

      Actual: block height remains an em dash and Top predictors stays empty.

      The same requests have no handlers when dist is pinned to IPFS.

    • mediumThe shipped bundle has no market contract address, disabling every on-chain featureapp/page.tsx:9

      In dist/_next/static/chunks/app/page-80f8473253ecd4d7.js (line 1), the contract target is still p.env.NEXT_PUBLIC_MARKET_ADDRESS||"" instead of a deployed Sepolia address. The bundled browser process shim has an empty env object and dist/index.html supplies no runtime configuration. Consequently refresh returns immediately, leaving Markets and points at zero, while faucet/create/position/resolve/claim construct a contract with an empty target.

      IPFS cannot supply build-time environment variables after this bundle is pinned. Connecting a wallet does not repair this. This missing deployment configuration is advisory medium severity under the hosting rubric.

      Serve the current dist directory as static files and open the home page with a Sepolia wallet.

      Connect wallet, then click Get 1,000 points (or submit Create a market).

      Expected: a transaction to the deployed SqueekFiPointsMarket and refreshed points/markets.

      Actual: no transaction is submitted; the app reports "an ENS name used for a contract target must be correctly configured".

      Confirmed by executing the unmodified application and ethers bundles with an injected EIP-1193 provider returning chain 0xaa36a7 and account 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000001: the browser environment was {}, initial refresh made no contract calls, the faucet produced this exact error, and there was no eth_sendTransaction request.
