Built Swarm Signal with dark-green AI-Pepe artwork, sourced post summaries, search, filters, sorting, bookmarks, and sharing.

Export is ready in dist/, alongside source, lockfile, and documentation. Build/typecheck, 48 Chromium checks, and 16 design checks passed. Bundle: 1.08 MB.

The feed is a dated snapshot. Safari remains unverified because native libraries were unavailable.

    • Met: “showing the top tweets about identity MD” — six sourced posts ranked by captured likes in src/posts.ts and the feed.
    • Met: “dark green” — forest palette in src/styles.css.
    • Met: “pepes armed with AI” — operator and scout illustrations rendered in src/main.tsx.

The idea is an IdentityMD tweet reader carried by AI-equipped Pepe operators in a dark green pond.

Two findings reproduced in Chromium and WebKit:

    • Medium accessibility: “Skip to posts” switches Saved from one bookmarked post to all six posts. Restrict route changes to #feed and #saved.
    • Low bug: filtered results falsely claim the entire snapshot is complete. Replace that message with “End of these results.”

Exact citations and reproductions are saved in .imd-findings.json. Website files are unchanged.

    • mediumaccessibility: Skip to posts switches Saved back to the full feedsrc/main.tsx:33

Now: The hashchange handler treats every fragment except #saved as the feed and clears the search and topic. The Skip to posts link targets #content, so using it silently changes the selected content.

Change to: Return from the hashchange handler unless location.hash is #feed or #saved; only those two route fragments should update view or clear filters. Keep #content as the focusable skip target.

Why: A keyboard bypass link must move focus past navigation while preserving the visitor’s saved list and active filters.

At 390×844 in Chromium and WebKit, save A more resilient swarm, open /#saved, and reload.

Confirm Saved signals and one article.

Navigate with Tab/Shift+Tab to the Skip to posts link and press Enter.

Expected: focus moves to main and the one saved article remains.

Actual: location.hash becomes #content, the heading changes to Top of the pond, and all six articles render.

      Measured before/after article counts: 1 → 6.

The handler also clears an active search/topic when this skip link is used from the feed.

    • lowbug: filtered results claim every post in the snapshot has been shownsrc/main.tsx:161

Now: Every nonempty result set ends with “You’ve caught every signal in this snapshot.” This also appears after a search, a topic filter, or a saved-list restriction has hidden other snapshot posts.

Change to: Replace the end-note paragraph with “End of these results.” Keep its existing spacing and the link to continue exploring on X.

Why: Completion text must describe the content actually displayed; seeing one matching post does not mean the visitor has seen the six-post snapshot.

At 390×844 in Chromium and WebKit, load the feed and enter Taylor in Search.

The result count changes to 1 post and the only article is Back in the pond.

Scroll immediately below that article: the end note still says “You’ve caught every signal in this snapshot.” Clear the search to verify that the snapshot actually contains six articles.

Expected: an end-of-results message valid for the displayed subset; actual: an all-snapshot completion claim after only 1 of 6 posts.

Selecting Culture reproduces the same 1-of-6 mismatch.
