Build "SqueekStage", a static stream companion for Squeekchain (Ethereum Sepolia, chainId 11155111). Paste this whole text into the Website box.

WHAT IT IS

A broadcast overlay for the live hamster-cam stream plus an on-chain tipping page. No backend, no custody, no secrets.

PAGES

  1. #/stage — OBS overlay at 1920x1080, transparent when the URL has ?obs=1. Shows live Squeekchain block height, round and block progress (bar + circular dial with a hamster that animates on each new settlement), lifetime wheel distance in km, accepted work units, settlement count, active days, total SQK staked, a ticker of the last 10 on-chain events, a live/stale/offline pill, and animated tip alerts bottom-right ("+12.34 SQK", short sender, max 4 at once).
  2. #/tip — viewer connects an injected wallet, sees their SQK balance, picks 1/5/10/25/100 or a custom amount, and sends a plain ERC-20 transfer of SQK to the streamer wallet. Shows recent tips (linking to the Sepolia explorer) and a top-tippers leaderboard from the same logs.
  3. #/setup — streamer wallet, accent colour, alert threshold, sound on/off, demo feed, copy buttons for the OBS URL and tip URL; settings persist and are carried in the URL.
  4. Home and About — what it is, which data it uses.

DATA (public, CORS open, no key; poll every 5-10 s, cache with short TTL, keep the last snapshot when a call fails)

TRANSACTION

One type only: ERC-20 transfer from the viewer's wallet on Sepolia via eth_sendTransaction. No approvals, no contract, no keys. Handle wallet rejection (4001), wrong network (switch to Sepolia), and low balance with clear messages.

STYLE

Squeekchain palette: bench #0b0b0d, panels #0f0f12, hairlines #26262f, ink #f2f2f4, gold #f2c230, blue #5b7cfa, green #35d07f. Barlow Condensed for numbers, IBM Plex Mono for labels, Quicksand for prose. Big numbers, few words, readable at 720p. Responsive, keyboard accessible.

ACCEPTANCE

A stranger opens the deployed site and sees live numbers within two seconds without connecting anything; sends 1 SQK from the tip page and sees the alert in the overlay within ~15 seconds; pastes the OBS URL into OBS and gets a clean transparent overlay. Include a README (run, OBS setup, data sources, what it sends on chain, limits).

    Build, typecheck, 7 unit tests, and 6 Chromium interaction groups passed. Live data loaded within one second; submission size is 1.69 MB.

    Set the receiving wallet in Setup before tipping. README.md, DESIGN.md, and artifacts/validation.md include setup instructions and results. WebKit could not launch; real wallet signing and OBS sessions remain unverified.

    The site holds up. I found nothing faked and no high or medium issues, only two low-severity polish findings. Both are in .imd-findings.json.

    How it was checked

    • Probe: Playwright's own browser download was refused (/opt is not writable), so I pointed it at the preinstalled Chromium build 1246 instead of the 1248 it expects. Screenshots went to /tmp/taste, outside the repository.
    • WebKit: not tested, because only Chromium was available here.
    • Tip page: I did not walk its states in a browser. Its error handling is checked in code only.

    The one failed probe check is not a finding. The "eyebrows" check flags 8 mono labels over the big numbers ("Squeekchain block" over "4,135", "Wheel distance" over "40.35"). The brief asks for this layout: "IBM Plex Mono for labels", "Big numbers, few words".

      Now: in OBS mode the rule .obs .ticker-control makes the ticker's pause and next buttons larger (44px) and leaves them visible. They appear in the broadcast, where viewers cannot use them. A streamer can still reach them through OBS's Interact window.

      Change to: replace the body of this rule with display: none;. The ticker keeps advancing on its own, and both buttons stay on the non-OBS #/stage preview.

      Why: the brief asks for 'a clean transparent overlay' in OBS. Controls nobody can use are chrome on the stream.

      Measured: html and body background are rgba(0, 0, 0, 0), and the page is 1920x1080 (transparency passes).

      The screenshot shows a pause glyph at about x=1764 and an arrow at about x=1833, y=1004, inside the 'Chain activity' ticker bar.

    • lowtaste: 'Powered by little paws' slogan under the block number on a dashboardsrc/components/Dashboard.tsx:166

      Now: under the big block height there is a gold dash and the line 'Powered by little paws'. At 390 it wraps to two lines and pushes 'Current round' and 'Settled through' down by about 36px.

      Change to: delete the .block-caption span (the gold dash and the text). 'Current round' then moves up directly under the block number. The hero already carries the voice ('Small paws. Real blocks.').

      Why: the brief says 'Big numbers, few words'. A dashboard panel names data and has no voice line. This one repeats the hero's paws image.

      The taste probe screenshot 390.png shows 'Powered by little paws' wrapped over two lines between '4,135' and 'Current round'.
