Open a company in a small Pepe city, hire Pepe employees (NFTs), train them, grow your building and earn $ImdUSD.

Every player runs a company. The company earns $ImdUSD over time, and its earning power depends on three things:

The building: bigger buildings have more desks for employees and a higher base income.

The employees: Pepe NFTs hired into the company, each with a work score.

Training: employees improve with training, which raises their score and the company’s earnings.

The loop: Mint a Pepe → open a company → hire your Pepe → earn $ImdUSD → upgrade the building and train employees → earn more → hire more Pepes.

The Pepe workers (NFTs)

The Pepe NFT is your entry ticket. You need at least one to log in and play.

Each Pepe is an employee with traits that set its starting work score, for example:

Role: Intern, Analyst, Developer, Manager or CEO (rarer roles score higher).

Skill: a work score that grows with training.

Look: skin, outfit, accessory. Purely cosmetic, so the art can be fun.

One NFT per desk: a Pepe working at one company can’t work anywhere else at the same time.

Progress stays with the NFT: a trained Pepe keeps its level when sold, so experienced employees are worth more on the market.

The company

Opening a company has a one-time cost and gives the player a small office with a few desks.

Building levels: Garage → Small Office → Office Floor → Office Tower → Headquarters. Each level adds desks and a base earnings bonus, with a cooldown between upgrades.

Company earnings = (building base + total employee score) × boosts.

Training

Spend $ImdUSD to train a Pepe: each level raises its work score by a fixed percentage, up to a maximum level.

Training costs rise with each level, so a max-level Pepe takes real investment.

Earnings

Earnings build up every second and are collected with a “Collect” button.

The screen shows money earned so far and play time, so progress is always visible.

The look: A small, cosy Pepe city: a compact world of office buildings, streets, parks, coffee shops and a central plaza. Small enough to explore in a few minutes, detailed enough to feel alive. Every company is a building: the player’s own office grows visibly as it’s upgraded, from a garage with one light on to a glass headquarters. Pepes everywhere: employees walk to work, sit at desks visible through windows, take coffee breaks in the park. Other players’ companies sit on the same streets. Day and night: office lights switch on at dusk, and the city looks busier at “work hours”. Style: bright, simple, cartoon 3D in the same family as Pepes World and the Courier planet, so the Pepes universe feels connected.

    Requirements

    • "Mint a Pepe → open a company → hire → earn → upgrade and train → hire more": met, the full loop runs in Chromium and WebKit (src/game.ts reducer, onboarding dialog in App.tsx).
    • "The Pepe NFT is your entry ticket": missing as an NFT, met as a gate. Pepes are localStorage records; the game refuses to open a company or sell the last Pepe without one. Disclosed, not faked.
    • "earn $ImdUSD": missing as a token. Simulated balance starts at 1,200; disclosed in Help, Settings, README and the mint dialog.
    • "Role: Intern … CEO (rarer roles score higher)": met, ROLES table 12/22/35/50/80 with 45/30/15/8/2% odds.
    • "Skill: a work score that grows with training": met, 15% per level, shown on every card.
    • "Look: skin, outfit, accessory": met, five looks in Pepe.tsx.
    • "One NFT per desk": met, hire refused at capacity, one desk per worker.
    • "Progress stays with the NFT … worth more on the market": met, sale keeps level, sell price rises with level, listing shows level.
    • "Opening a company has a one-time cost … small office with a few desks": met, 250 for a 3-desk garage.
    • "Garage → Small Office → Office Floor → Office Tower → Headquarters": met, five stages with desks and base shown on the company page.

    • "Earnings build up every second and are collected with a Collect button": met, measured pending 1.15 → balance 951.19 after Collect.
    • "money earned so far and play time": met, "Total collected" and "Time in the city" on the company page, play time in the footer.
    • "A small, cosy Pepe city: office buildings, streets, parks, coffee shops and a central plaza": met, isometric SVG with café, fountain plaza, park strip, two neighbour offices.
    • "the player's own office grows visibly … from a garage with one light on to a glass headquarters": met, the building gains floors per level and a teal glass palette from level 4; the garage window lights at night.
    • "employees walk to work, sit at desks visible through windows, take coffee breaks in the park": met for desks (window markers follow staff), missing for walking (seven fixed scenery walkers).
    • "Other players' companies sit on the same streets": missing. Neighbours are scenery and the Labs dialog says so.
    • "Day and night: office lights switch on at dusk … busier at work hours": met, auto cycle every four minutes of play plus a manual select; 36 lit windows at night, walkers pause.
    • "Style: bright, simple, cartoon 3D in the same family as Pepes World and the Courier planet": met as far as I can judge. No reference art was attached, so the family resemblance is unverified.

The idea. A cosy office tycoon told through one isometric block that visibly grows from a garage to a glass tower. That idea carries the site. The competing device is the voice: a dozen "A little X. A lot of Y." lines around the data, which the slogan finding asks to cut down to the one headli

    • highfidelity: the play-to-earn core (Pepe NFTs, $ImdUSD, other players' companies) is a browser-local simulation, and the only first-screen disclosure is hidden at phone widthssrc/App.tsx:700

Now: the brief asks for Pepe NFTs as the entry ticket, $ImdUSD earned over time, and other players' companies on the same streets. The site mints Pepes into localStorage (game.ts freshGame, SAVE_KEY 'pepe-and-co-save-v1'), starts every visitor with 1,200 simulated $ImdUSD, has no wallet, chain, contract or RPC, and the neighbour buildings are fixed scenery (the Lilypad Labs dialog says so). The simulation is disclosed in README, Help, Settings and the mint dialog, so nothing is faked, but three brief requirements are missing. On the first screen the only standing disclosure is the header 'Local play' badge, and src/styles.css:3195-3197 sets .topbar .local-badge { display: none; } at 620px and below, so a phone visitor sees '1,200.00 $ImdUSD' in a wallet-style pill with no hint it is play money until they open a dialog.

Change to: (1) the requester must name the chain and the Pepe NFT / $ImdUSD contract addresses; until they do, this deliverable cannot meet the brief's NFT, token and multiplayer requirements and should be labelled a prototype in the brief's own words. (2) Independently of that, keep the disclosure on the first screen at every width: delete the display: none rule at styles.css:3195-3197 and let the badge shrink to its dot plus the word 'Simulated' at 620px and below, or move the word 'simulated' into the balance pill's visible text ('1,200.00 simulated $ImdUSD'), reusing the existing .wallet > span:last-child style.

Why: 'The Pepe NFT is your entry ticket', 'earn $ImdUSD', 'Other players' companies sit on the same streets' are explicit requirements; the review bar treats a missing requirement as high, and a balance shown without its simulated label implies value the site does not hold.

390x844, Chromium and WebKit, fresh storage: load dist/index.html.

Measured: .local-badge isVisible() = false at 390 (true at 1440); the header pill reads '1,200.00 $ImdUSD'.

Code: src/game.ts:69 balance: 1200, src/game.ts:1 SAVE_KEY; no import or reference to a wallet, provider, ABI or contract address anywhere in src/.

The neighbour dialog (src/App.tsx:1715-1716) says 'This is a scenery company in local play.

Live multiplayer neighbours are not connected.'

    • mediumfidelity: employees never walk to work; the seven strolling Pepes are fixed scenery that ignore who is hiredsrc/components/City.tsx:610

Now: CityArt draws seven hard-coded walking TinyPepe figures at fixed streets (City.tsx:610-658) plus two seated at the plaza. They are identical before the first hire and after the sixth; the only employee-driven art is the desk marker inside the office windows (staff > floor * 4 + i). The brief's 'employees walk to work' is therefore ambience, not the player's team.

Change to: drive the existing walkers from staff: render Math.min(staff, 7) of the seven TinyPepe walkers on the two streets nearest the player's plot (x 330/433, 302/406, 320/285, 199/309 are already there), give each the shirt colour of the matching worker's outfit from the Pepe outfits palette, and keep the plaza sitters as scenery. No new component or asset is needed.

Why: the brief: 'Pepes everywhere: employees walk to work, sit at desks visible through windows'; the city is meant to show the player's company growing, and a street that looks the same at 0 and 6 employees does not.

      390 and 1440, Chromium and WebKit: fresh game, count .walking-pepe = 7 and .city-art ellipse[fill='#b4cc79'] (desk markers) = 7 (6 neighbour desks + 1 own).

After minting, opening a company and hiring Pip, .walking-pepe is still 7 and nothing on the streets changes; only the garage window gains one seated marker.

See test/scratch/walk output 'walking pepes: 7 occupied windows (desk markers): 7' before and after hire.

    • mediumbug: the company name is ellipsized in the map's office label at 390src/styles.css:4308

Now: the label over the player's building is capped at max-width: 45% of the map at 620px and below (styles.css:3395) and the name inside is white-space: nowrap; overflow: hidden; text-overflow: ellipsis, so a 32-character name renders as 'Wonderful Lilypad …' with the rest only in a title tooltip, which touch has no way to show.

Change to: delete the .map-company-name rule at styles.css:4308-4313 and let the name wrap inside .label-office, which already has white-space: normal; text-align: center; line-height: 1.3 (styles.css:812-821); raise .map-label.label-office { max-width: 45% } at styles.css:3395 to 60% so two lines hold 32 characters at 390.

Why: the review bar: critical text (a name) is never clipped, ellipsized or shrunk to fit, and overflow: hidden that cuts text is a bug, not a style. The company name is the one thing the player typed.

390x844, Chromium and WebKit: Start playing, mint, enter the company name 'Wonderful Lilypad Ventures Co 32' (32 chars, the allowed maximum), open, hire, Explore your city.

Measured on .map-company-name: scrollWidth 194 (193 in WebKit), clientWidth 114, text-overflow 'ellipsis'; screenshot shows 'Wonderful Lilypad …'.

At 1440 the same name fits (no clipping).

    • mediumaccessibility: 'Start your own office tycoon.' on the first phone screen is 4.25:1src/styles.css:3273

Now: the second line of the Start card at 620px and below uses a one-off colour #647254 on the card's #e5ecd9 fill, 4.25:1 for 12px text, under the 4.5:1 bar, on the first screen at 390.

Change to: replace #647254 with the existing token var(--color-text-on-soft) (#536449, 5.27:1 on #e5ecd9), which is already the colour used for labels on tinted panels.

Why: WCAG 1.4.3 (4.5:1 for text under 24px) and the probe's contrast check; it is the only contrast failure, but it sits on the call-to-action card every phone visitor reads first.

      390x844, Chromium, fresh storage.

Probe taste@1 contrast: `390px: div.mobile-start:nth-of-type(2) > div > span > small "Start your own office tycoon."

      4.25:1`.

      Computed from the CSS: #647254 on #e5ecd9 = 4.25; #536449 on #e5ecd9 = 5.27.

    • mediumtaste: a stack of two-beat slogans and voice lines surrounds the game on every screensrc/App.tsx:649

Now: the city page carries 'Small office. Big dreams.' (h1) plus 'A little hustle. A lot of heart.', 'Your next big thing starts with a small step.', 'Good work. Great coffee.', 'First Pepe is free. Good company is priceless.', 'A cosy corner of the Pepeverse', 'A good day to be a Pepe.', 'Life in Lilypad Valley', 'Built for the little guy.', 'Every little second counts.', 'A little training goes a long way', 'Your dream team starts here', 'A little world, a lot of possibility.' and 'Take your time. Grow your way.' The probe counts seven two-beat lines on the entry page alone; four is a stack. The one good line is drowned and the data cards each end in filler.

Change to: keep 'Small office. Big dreams.' and its sub-line. Delete: the sidebar note block (App.tsx:644-657, its 'The beginner's guide' button repeats 'How to play' directly below; the sidebar-bottom moves up), the header greeting span and Sun icon (App.tsx:689-692; the actions stay right-aligned by the existing space-between), the town badge (App.tsx:746-748), the footer tail 'Take your time. Grow your way.' with its separator (App.tsx:1207), the map hint (City.tsx:739-741), and the three stat-card footers (App.tsx:793-795 and 808, each card closes up by its 7px margin). Change the coffee card to a fact: strong 'Team coffee · 60 $ImdUSD', small '+25% earnings for 5 minutes' (App.tsx:830-835). Change the company-card footnote to 'Your first Pepe is free.' (App.tsx:545). Change 'Every little second counts.' to the boost state only, i.e. render that span only when boostActive (App.tsx:582).

Why: the review bar: 'Cut the stack, not the best line: four or more slogans'; data and tool surfaces carry no voice line; a fact or a noun beats an adjective.

390 and 1440, Chromium, fresh storage.

Probe taste@1 slogans: '7 two-beat lines; a stack is four or more' listing "Small office.

      Big dreams.", "Good work.

      Great coffee.", "A little hustle.

A lot of heart.", "First Pepe is free.

Good company is priceless." and three brand/plot fragments.

The 1440 screenshot shows all of the lines above on one screen; at 390 the full-page screenshot shows the h1, 'Every little second counts.', both stat footers, the map hint, the coffee card line and the footer tail.

    • mediumtaste: dialog and page titles are slogans where the task name belongssrc/App.tsx:1240

Now: every modal is titled with a mood line instead of its task: Train is 'A little better, every day.', Sell is 'A new chapter for your Pepe.', Mint is 'Good company is growing.', Upgrade is 'Make room for more.', Help is 'Small steps. Big possibilities.', Settings is 'Your corner of the city.', the open-company step is 'Give your big idea a home.', the café is 'Welcome to Lily's café.'. The My Pepes page is headed 'Good Pepes. Great company.' / 'A little personality. A lot of potential.' and the Marketplace 'Find your next great hire.' / 'Experienced Pepes, ready for their next chapter.' with a second slogan banner 'A new chapter, same great Pepe.' under it. The visitor reads a dialog to do one thing and has to find it in the button.

Change to (App.tsx:1237-1266 and 725-742): Train → 'Train {worker.name}'; Sell → 'Sell {worker.name}'; Mint → 'Mint a Pepe'; Upgrade/office → 'Upgrade your building' (office view: the company name, as now); Help → 'How to play'; Settings → 'Settings'; Reset → 'Reset your local game?'; start step 1 'Mint your first Pepe', step 2 'Open your company', step 3 'Hire your first Pepe', step 4 'You are open for business'; café → 'Lily's café'; labs → 'Lilypad Labs'; plaza → 'The little plaza'. My Pepes h1 → 'My Pepes', sub-line 'Hire, train and sell the Pepes you own.'; Marketplace h1 → 'Marketplace', sub-line 'Trained Pepes for sale. Prices in simulated $ImdUSD.'; delete the market banner (App.tsx:1125-1137) since its disclosure moves into the sub-line, and the toolbar moves up by its 29px margin.

Why: the review bar: tools and dashboards are read to get a task done; headings name the task in plain words and there is no voice line. The city page is the one marketing surface and keeps its pair.

390 and 1440, Chromium and WebKit: open My Pepes → Train (dialog h2 'A little better, every day.'), Sell ('A new chapter for your Pepe.'), header Mint a Pepe ('Good company is growing.'), My company → Upgrade building ('Make room for more.'), settings ('Your corner of the city.'), How to play ('Small steps.

      Big possibilities.').

Screenshots in test/scratch/walk (cr-390-train.png, cr-390-d2-open.png, cr-390-upgrade-cooldown.png) show each title above a body whose button carries the actual task.

    • mediumtaste: six font weights, a third family for the coin glyph, and tracked brand textsrc/styles.css:157

Now: the probe measures weights 400, 500, 600, 650, 700 and 800 in use (bar: three), families Manrope, DM Sans and Georgia (the coin's italic 'ⅈ' at styles.css:457 font-family: Georgia, serif), and the sidebar brand tracked to -0.050em at 20px (letter-spacing: -1px at styles.css:242, with .brand-amp at -2px on line 247). The 650 comes from the global strong, b rule, 500 from nav items, map labels and the earnings label, 700 from the company-card h2, the coin and the café hero.

      Change to: collapse to 400 / 600 / 800: strong, b { font-weight: 600 } (157-160); .nav-item.active, .coffee-card strong, .journey-stop.reached > strong 650 → 600; .nav-item, .map-label, .earnings-label > span:first-child, .empty-desk strong, .journey-stop strong, .currency 500 → 400; .company-card-heading h2, .cafe-hero > span, .mini-arrow 700 → 800. Replace the coin's Georgia 'ⅈ' with the existing FrogMark svg or a Lucide Coins icon inside the same .coin circle, deleting the font-family, font-style and font-size lines at 457-460. Set .brand > span { letter-spacing: -0.8px } (−0.04em) and .brand-amp { letter-spacing: -0.8px }.

Why: the review bar: at most three weights and three families, letter-spacing no tighter than −0.04em below 28px. One text glyph in a serif is a whole family loaded for one character.

      390 and 1440, Chromium, fresh storage. Probe taste@1 type-faces: 'families (3): manrope, georgia, dm sans / weights (6): 400, 500, 600, 650, 700, 800'; tracking: '1440px: div.app-shell > aside.sidebar > a.brand > span "pepe co." -0.050em'. taste.json lists the coin span div.wallet > span.coin.coin-small > span "ⅈ" as the only Georgia text.

    • lowbug: the mint dialog previews a different Pepe than the one that gets mintedsrc/App.tsx:1416

Now: the reveal art in the Mint dialog picks its look from game.workers.length % 5, but the reducer assigns the minted worker's look from (state.nextId - 1001) % 5 (game.ts:161). The two diverge as soon as the player buys from the market or sells, so the face shown over 'Mint a Pepe · 300 $ImdUSD' is not the face that joins the collection.

Change to: <Pepe look={(game.nextId - 1001) % 5} /> so the preview uses the same rule as the mint.

Why: the dialog shows the visitor what they are buying; a preview that lies about the cosmetic traits undercuts the brief's 'Look: skin, outfit, accessory'.

390 or 1440, Chromium and WebKit: seed a save with four owned workers (ids 1001–1003 plus bought market Pepe 201) and nextId 1004, open My Pepes → Mint a Pepe.

The reveal svg contains the look-4 accessory (rect[fill='#d78864']), i.e. look 4; after clicking Mint the new worker in localStorage is {"id":1004,"name":"Olive",…,"look":3}.

Logged in test/scratch/walk: 'mint preview look: 4 minted: {…"look":3}'.

    • lowbug: the notice toast never leaves, sits over the plaza button at 390, and duplicates the dialog's live regionsrc/App.tsx:1213

Now: .toast is position: fixed; bottom: 15px and stays until the next action or a manual dismiss. After 'Collect' at 390 it covers 'The little plaza' map button and the map hint for as long as the player reads the map. While a dialog is open the same text is rendered twice as role=status aria-live=polite: once in .dialog-status inside the dialog and once in the toast behind the backdrop, so screen readers hear each notice twice.

Change to: when modal is set, render only the dialog status (guard the toast with !modal); give the toast a 6-second auto-dismiss via the existing dismissedNotice state (setTimeout in the effect that watches game.notice) so it clears from the map, keeping the X for early dismissal.

Why: the review bar: a floating control over text or a control is a layout failure, and a state should say what the app knows once; WCAG 4.1.3 status messages should not be announced twice.

390x844, Chromium and WebKit: mint, open, hire, Explore your city, wait 2 s, press Collect.

Overlap measured: toast text 'Collected 1.20 $ImdUSD…' overlaps the .label-plaza button box (screenshot cr-390-city-company.png shows the toast across the plaza label and map hint).

Then My Pepes → Train → Train Pip: .toast computed display 'flex' and .dialog-status innerText both equal 'Pip reached level 4.

Their work score is now 18.3.'

(logged for both engines and both widths).

    • lowtaste: emoji and sparkle glyphs stand in for icons on the map and in the reveal cardssrc/components/City.tsx:728

Now: the café map button starts with a ☕ emoji (the probe's one glyphs failure); the company preview and mint reveal scatter text '✳', '✦', '✧' as decoration (App.tsx:488, 490, 1299, 1300, 1417, 1418); the office and labs labels and the stat card use a text '↗' (City.tsx:725, 731; App.tsx:794). The rest of the site uses Lucide strokes, so these read as a second icon system in a different weight and colour.

Change to: <Coffee size={13} /> from lucide-react (already imported in App.tsx) in place of the ☕; delete the six sparkle spans and their .preview-spark / .reveal-star rules (the building and Pepe art re-centre in their panels, nothing else moves); replace the three text arrows with the ArrowUpRight icon already used on the coffee card, or delete them since the label is the whole button.

Why: the review bar: no emoji in the site's own text; one icon family per site.

390 and 1440, Chromium, fresh storage.

      Probe taste@1 glyphs: '1 emoji in text: … button.map-label.label-cafe "☕ Lily’s café"'.

The 1440 screenshot shows '✳' and '✦' beside the garage preview in the company card; the mint dialog (cr-390-d1-mint.png) shows '✳' and '✧' beside Pip.

    • lowtaste: the open navigation drawer shows two close buttons at 390src/App.tsx:607

Now: tapping the menu swaps the header button to an X ('Close navigation', App.tsx:683-687) and the drawer also renders its own X ('Close navigation', App.tsx:605-613) 50px below it, so two identical close controls sit in the top-left corner over an empty 46px row of the drawer.

Change to: delete the drawer's close button (App.tsx:605-613) and the .drawer-close rule (styles.css:4202-4205); the header X already toggles the drawer, Escape and the backdrop still close it, and the drawer's first focus target becomes the first nav link, which is what the trap's controls()[0] already expects.

Why: the review bar: one control per action; a header utility that already shows state is the convention people rely on.

390x844, Chromium and WebKit: tap the menu button. Screenshot cr-390-drawer.png: an X at (30,34) in the header and a second X at (203,120) inside the drawer, both labelled 'Close navigation' (getByRole('button',{name:'Close navigation'}) resolves to 2 elements).

    • lowbug: the mint card's arrow icon wraps onto its own line at 390src/styles.css:3829

Now: at 620px and below .mint-cost is display: flex; flex-wrap: wrap; max-width: 115px (styles.css:3825-3830), so 'Mint a Pepe · 300 $ImdUSD' breaks after '300' and the ArrowUpRight icon drops to a third line by itself, centred under the text.

Change to: delete max-width: 115px and flex-wrap: wrap from the 620px rule and let the span wrap as inline text by changing .mint-cost to display: inline with the icon vertical-align: middle; or simply delete the icon, since the whole card is the button.

Why: the review bar: an icon is attached to its label; a glyph alone on a line is a hole.

390x844, Chromium and WebKit, seeded or fresh game: open My Pepes.

Screenshot cr-390-route-pepes.png shows the dashed mint card reading 'Mint a Pepe · 300' / '$ImdUSD' / '↗' on three lines.

      Measured .mint-cost width 115px against a label needing about 150px at 12px.

The one thing that matters this round. The revision answered every finding in src/, but dist/ was never rebuilt. The revision commit touched only four source files, and the committed export still carries the old JS and CSS bundles. A visitor of the published site therefore sees exactly what I reviewed last round: the disclosure hidden at 390, the Georgia coin glyph, six weights, the emoji, the slogan stack, the ellipsized name, the duplicated toast, the slogan dialog titles, the two drawer close buttons. The fix is a build and a commit, plus regenerating the export manifest, which still lists the old hashes. This is the high finding in the file.

Requirements, one line each. Pepe NFT as entry ticket: missing (simulated in localStorage, now disclosed as "A simulated prototype" in Help and on the first screen at every width). Earn $ImdUSD: missing (simulated balance, labelled). Other players' companies on the same streets: missing (scenery, the Lilypad Labs dialog says so). These three need the requester to name a chain and contracts, so no finding reopens the build for them. Met, with the element that shows it: roles Intern to CEO with rarer roles scoring higher (game.ts ROLES), work score that grows with training, cosmetic look traits (Pepe.tsx, five looks), one NFT per desk (hire rule), level kept on sale and worth more (sell price by level, market listing), one-time opening cost with a few desks (250, garage, 3 desks), five building levels adding desks and base income with an upgrade cooldown, earnings formula (building base plus team score times boosts, shown on the company page), training cost rising per level to a max level (level 10), per-second accrual with Collect, money earned and play time on screen, a compact city with offices, streets, park, café and plaza, the player's office growing visibly per level, employees walking to work (now driven by hires), Pepes seated at desks visible through windows, coffee breaks in the park, day and night with window lights, bright cartoon 3D style.

Settled findings. All eleven previous findings are fixed in source and verified in Chromium and WebKit at 320, 390 and 1440 on a fresh build:

    • Disclosure on the first screen: the badge reads "Simulated play · No wallet or real money" on its own header row at 390 and 320, and the Start button still sits at y 219 to 259.
    • Employees walk to work: 0 commuters before a hire, 1 after, wearing the hired Pepe's outfit colour, with the map's alt text saying so. Two neighbour strollers remain in the park.
    • Company name: wraps to two lines at 390 and 320, no ellipsis, inside the map.
    • Contrast on the Start card: probe passes.
    • Slogan stack, dialog titles, weights, families, tracking, emoji, sparkle glyphs: probe passes all four checks; dialogs read "Mint your first Pepe", "Open your company", "Hire your first Pepe", "Train Pip", "Settings", "How to play", "Upgrade your building"; the market banner is gone.
    • Mint preview: with nextId 1004 the preview and the minted Pepe are both look 3 in both engines.
    • Toast: not rendered while a dialog is open, clears itself after six seconds.
    • Drawer: one visible close control. The second "Close navigation" the query finds is the invisible backdrop, which is fine.
    • Mint card: the arrow is gone and the cost wraps as text.

One new low finding. With the ellipsis gone, at 320 the two-line office label's pill overlaps the café pill by four pixels when the name is the 32-character maximum. The text runs do not touch. Moving the label from 62% to 65% in the existin

    • highbug: the committed export in dist/ is the previous build, so none of the revision reaches a visitordist/index.html:27

Now: the revision commit (b0652f1) changed only src/App.tsx, src/styles.css, src/components/City.tsx and src/components/Pepe.tsx; dist/ (the export the README, .gitignore '!dist/' and artifacts/export-manifest.json name as the deliverable, and the one the taste probe measures) still holds assets/index-BLZ9iJ1D.js and assets/index-DQfoHKtL.css from the round before.

Every answer to the last review exists only in source: the export still ships the hidden 'Local play' badge at 390, the Georgia coin glyph, six font weights, the ☕ emoji, the seven-slogan stack, the ellipsized company name, the duplicated toast, the slogan dialog titles, the two drawer close buttons and the wrapped mint-cost arrow.

Change to: run npm run build from the revised source, commit the new dist/index.html and dist/assets/* (and regenerate artifacts/export-manifest.json, which still lists the old hashes 38a5e21b… and 17a2ca58…), then rerun npm run check:export. No source change is needed; a fresh build of the current src/ passes 16/16 probe checks.

Why: the brief is judged on the finished website, and the site that gets published is dist/. The probe and every reviewer finding reproduce on the export exactly as they did last round, including failures on the first screen (contrast 4.25:1 on the Start card, the disclosure hidden at 390) and across the page (6 weights, 7 two-beat lines), which the review bar rates high.

From the repository root, Node 24: npm ci && npx vite build --outDir test/scratch/build, then compare: dist/assets/index-BLZ9iJ1D.js (302,424 bytes) vs fresh index-DvT4iG5N.js (300,457 bytes); dist/assets/index-DQfoHKtL.css (63,185 bytes) vs fresh index-DX4ZebRe.css (59,798 bytes).

String counts dist vs fresh: 'A little better, every day' 1 vs 0; 'Take your time' 1 vs 0; 'Good company is growing' 1 vs 0; 'Georgia' 1 vs 0; 'font-weight:650' 1 vs 0; 'drawer-close' 2 vs 0; '☕' 1 vs 0; '✳' 1 vs 0. git diff --stat HEAD~1 HEAD lists only the four src files.

Probe: node .imd/reads/skills/design-critic/scripts/taste.mjs --out test/scratch/taste on dist/ passes 11/16 (FAIL contrast '390px: div.mobile-start … "Start your own office tycoon."

      4.25:1'; FAIL tracking 'a.brand > span "pepe co." -0.050em'; FAIL type-faces 'families (3): manrope, georgia, dm sans | weights (6): 400, 500, 600, 650, 700, 800'; FAIL glyphs '1 emoji in text: … button.map-label.label-cafe "☕ Lily’s café"'; FAIL slogans '7 two-beat lines'); the same probe on test/scratch/build passes 16/16.

Chromium 390x844 on dist/, fresh storage: .local-badge isVisible() = false and text 'Local play'; start dialog h2 'Meet your first coworker.'; after hiring, .map-company-name scrollWidth 194 / clientWidth 119 with text-overflow 'ellipsis'; .walking-pepe count 7 before and after the hire; with the Train dialog open .toast computed display 'flex' and .dialog-status carry the same text; Close navigation buttons in the open drawer: 2 visible.

Expected: the revised behaviour (badge 'Simulated play · No wallet or real money' visible at 390, h2 'Mint your first Pepe', name wrapping to 2 lines with no ellipsis, 1 walker per hired Pepe, toast not rendered while a dialog is open), which is what test/scratch/build shows.

    • lowbug: at 320 the wrapped office label's pill overlaps the café pill with a 32-character company namesrc/styles.css:3863

Now: with the ellipsis removed, .label-office is width: max-content; max-width: 60% and wraps a 32-character name to two lines, 176px wide at 320. In the 360px-and-below rule it sits at left: 62%, which puts its left edge at x=113 while the café pill ends at x=117, so the two pills overlap by 4px and the office pill's rounded corner sits on the café pill (the text runs do not touch: café text ends at 109, the name starts at 156). At 360 and 390 the gap is 2px and 5px.

Change to: in this same rule change left: 62% to left: 65%; the pill moves 9px right, its right edge stays inside the map (298 < 307), and nothing else moves.

Why: the review bar: no text box over another and no floating control over a control; a revision that leaves two pills touching is a hole left by the fix, which the bar counts as a finding of its own.

320x844, Chromium and WebKit, test/scratch/build (a fresh build of src/): seed localStorage key pepe-and-co-save-v1 with company name 'Wonderful Lilypad Ventures Co 32' (the 32-character maximum) and one hired Pepe, load the city.

      Measured .label-office box x=113 y=733 w=176 h=44 and .label-cafe box x=27 y=735 w=90 h=28 (WebKit: w=89), horizontal overlap 4px (WebKit 3px); the name renders on two lines ([156,738,259,754] and [164,755,250,771]).

Screenshot test/scratch/walk-fresh/cr-320-labels.png shows the office pill's left corner on the café pill.

      At 360: overlap -2px (clear); at 390: -5px (clear).

On the committed dist/ the name is ellipsized instead (max-width 45%, nowrap), so this appears only once that bug's fix ships.

  6. Build websiteAgent #129512 files changed

Both findings reproduced and are fixed. The working tree is ready for the harness to commit, as in the previous rounds.

Finding 1, stale export: fixed. The last commit changed only four source files while dist/ still held the bundles from the round before. I rebuilt from the final source, so dist/index.html now references the new JavaScript and CSS bundles, the old ones are deleted, and the export manifest, check transcript and size inventory were regenerated. Typecheck, the 17 model tests, the production build and the export check all pass. On the rebuilt export in Chromium at 390 wide with fresh storage, the simulated-play disclosure is visible, the start dialog is titled "Mint your first Pepe", the toast is hidden while a dialog is open, the company name wraps with no ellipsis, and the CSS declares four font weights.

Finding 2, label overlap at 320: fixed, with a different cause than reported. The overlap reproduced (3px in my Chromium run). The 62% rule at the cited line never applied: a later 620px media block sets the same property on the same selector and wins at every narrow width. The reviewer's suggested 65% still left the pills touching when simulated in the page. I removed the dead declaration and added a 360px block after the 620px block at src/styles.css:4094 with 68%. On the rebuilt export the office pill clears the café pill by 9px at 320 and 16px at 360, and stays inside the map at both widths.

Records updated. The validation report has a new revision section with the reproduction, cause, fix and measurements. DESIGN.md no longer claims an ellipsized label or a 650 weight and documents the 360px rule. README results reflect the rerun. Answers to both findings are in .imd-responses.json, which the harness's own exclude file keeps out of git by design.

Limitations. Browser checks ran in Chromium only. WebKit and Firefox were not run. The delivered file inventory totals about 2.9 MB, well under the 8 MiB limit.

Both findings from the last round are fixed on the committed export. The findings file holds an empty list.

High, stale export: fixed. The committed dist assets are byte-identical to a fresh build of the current source. Both hashes match the manifest. The probe now passes every check on dist, including contrast, type faces (two families, three weights) and glyphs. Verified at 390 in Chromium with fresh storage: the badge reads "Simulated play · No wallet or real money" and is visible, the Start dialog heading is "Mint your first Pepe", the company name is not ellipsized, there is one walker per hired Pepe plus the two commuters, and no toast renders while a dialog is open.

Low, office pill over café pill at 320: fixed. The author's diagnosis was right. The old rule never applied because a later media query won on equal specificity. With the 32-character name and one hired Pepe, measured on dist in Chromium:

WidthOffice pill x..rightCafé pill rightGapMap right edge
    320125..3011178px307
    360140..34012515px347
    390138..3521335px373

No horizontal scroll at any width. The 320 screenshot shows the two pills clearly separated. WebKit did not run on this machine: the host lacks the GTK and GStreamer libraries and sudo needs a password. The fix is a plain left offset, so there is no WebKit-specific CSS at stake.

Regression walk at 390, Chromium, on dist. Mint, open company, hire, collect, upgrade to Small Office, and train three levels all work with no console errors. Training cost rose 60, 99, 164 and the work score 12, 13.8, 15.9. Level shows "of 10". Play time shows as "0m 14s in the city". The Day, Night and Auto toggle is present. Export check passes.
